Friendly staff but few fries and too greasy

Disappointed the first time, it was delicious, this time it was hard, with old chips on the bottom and the last bits of fries. The satay, while tasty, had good meat and sauce, but it was cold. A friend of mine also said it seemed undercooked and lukewarm. We're seriously considering going again.

Soft serve ice cream in a coffee cup. The milkshake was disgusting. Special Frikandel sandwich €4.35 Frikandel mayo €3.20 Felt robbed... We won't be going here again.

I had the most delicious fries and meatball sandwich at Jackey's tonight! And what great service! 100% the best store in Wateringen, no question! See you soon! It's a cozy place inside! We received a super warm welcome.

No, definitely not recommended. The fries were okay, not great. The appetizers were overcooked, so very hard. The ice cream was too soft and dripped off the cone. Perhaps the other dishes are very good.

Small portion of fries. All small pieces and slivers. Only a few long fries were included. Frikadel was a compressed limp piece of meat. Didn't taste. Even 2 mistakes in this small order. Never come here again.

Pfff really drama, always something with the order this time it was so sloppily packed containers filled with fries and snacks with sauce pack upright in a bag... sorry but doesn't seem very handy! But this time the order was complete hence the 2 stars

Thought it would be nice to eat here via social deal at the end of the afternoon. Bought the deal and went to wateringen with the kids to then hear that it is not possible today because of the annual fair. Social deal would be blocked, well no way and we could go back without batting an eyelid with 2 disappointed children. 0.0 understanding so the same score as it could for this snack bar. The high fries could also be ordered for today. Too bad no chance that I will come back here

Read posts... I sometimes eat there too, but I don't recognize much of it. Now I came there and saw sushi. I switched from fries. It was really great! Had to wait a while. Was made fresh. Was offered a drink because of the wait. 32 pcs 32 euros. Will definitely get it more often.

Had an exceptionally delicious poke bowl. Not only was the food delicious, but the service was also top-notch! Definitely recommended.

Surprisingly good food—definitely worth the money. I’m usually not a fan of the atmosphere in Wateringen, but this place stands out. Highly recommended over other restaurants in the area.

Once but never again, we were hungry for a nice golden fries,…..after a few minutes you come home with a large bag of brown fries with even browner edges… fries were limp, greasy and tasteless. No correction, it tasted burnt and like old oil. Nasty, downright nasty, fries are not that healthy anyway, but this oil immediately fills your veins.... A shame to dare to sell this... Reading reviews, I wasn't the first..... bums without any knowledge.

I expected a lot more. Photos on this site. The fries are not correct. What I had was that I was hungry because of the cold. I had to throw them away afterwards and friendliness is also hard to find. Specially for the detour I.d. Herenstraat has a better and friendlier staff. I wish I had gone there straight away!

A well-known snack bar in the center of Wateringen. Much bigger than it seems outside. Little atmosphere due to poor use of space. The lady who helped me already looked at me at what I came to do and didn't do her best to seem like she enjoyed her work. When she repeated her question in a raised voice even though I had already answered it, I was already a bit fed up. She said, I didn't hear you on my repeat with the addition that I already said that. Maybe you should turn the music down a bit when a customer comes in. The snacks were ok.

Last week I bought fries for 4 people, very little 125 grams per person, I weighed the bag. Is this the standard or a bug? ? 0.5 kilo for 4 people and almost 11 euros

Things have deteriorated a lot since Boeters was taken over, such a shame! The quality of food and conviviality is no longer there. I'll never go here again.

What a dirty mess this is. Croquettes undercooked and cold, fries limp, not to mention the hogweed. Meatball undercooked and raw onion stuffed in between. What a mockery this is

Been a client of Boeters for a few months now. First four visits. Everything delicious and staff friendly. But the fifth was less. Bacon was sour but was immediately replaced and fries were overcooked

What bad fries here. Small, hard fries with skin. I threw away more than half. The cheese souffle was lukewarm and limp. Next time, won't go to this snack bar, but to the Kwalitaria in the village

We come here to eat, because the coal pit and the 4 blades are already closed, they don't even have fries! And the normal fries come with potato peels. The fries are also very salty. So if you don't like that either, I wouldn't get fries here! It's not a lot of fries either... I'd just wait until the coal pit opens again! You pay for a large ice cream cone and it is simply filled with air! Total scam! A plus is that it comes in a free bag.

Fries fully fried for the second time. What happened here. Was always good.

Ordered something on Friday evening at 6pm. Took too long and staff were always confused about the correctness of customer orders by means of the cash register notes taped to the counter with the cooled products. Onions had to be replenished first and that caused my frikandels to cool down too much. In short, make sure that you have EVERYTHING ready at rush hour and that you don't have to say NO to some products. Improvement is really needed!

De nieuwe eigenaar had wat opstartproblemen. Maar langzaam krijgt ze de smaak te pakken. Het wordt steeds beter. En ze bakken wel gewoon lekkere frietjes tegenwoordig. Mooie schone zaak. En lieve eigenaar. Gewoon een hele leuke en spontane meid.

Ik weet dat het haast onvermijdelijk is maar ik vind toch 30 euro om met zn tweeën te eten veel geld voor frituur. Kwalitatief was er weinig mis en ik zal hier ook vaker komen...

Goede locatie, frisse zaak. Ruim assortiment, goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding. Vriendelijke bediening!

Erg vriendelijk personeel. Wij hebben ter plaatse gegeten. De speklap smaakte een beetje naar varkensvlees wat al te lang ligt. De patatjes waren lekker, maar er zaten ook veel erg doorbakken patatjes tussen. Dus ik vermoed dat die nog in de olie lagen? Misschien olie vervangen? Ruimte zelf oogt schoon en netjes. Verder prima hoor!

Matig, niet erg efficiënt. Meer dan een 40 minuten zitten wacht op 1 kleine Raspatat om mee te nemen. En klanten na mij die buiten zaten werden eerder geholpen. En er werd voor 5 cent een meeneem tasje meegerekend, terwijl Raspatat in een zak zit. Nieuwe eigenaar, duurder geworden en kleine porties. Helaas voor mij niet meer voor herhaling vatbaar.

Heerlijke snack - patat met een schil - pindasaus deze moet je geproefd hebben - mooie zaak - schoon - gezellig voor een praatje.

tja boeters is overgenomen, daar kwamen wij achter toen we binnenkwamen lopen en er vreemde gezichten achter de counter zagen staan, snel de recensies gelezen maar pas na de bestelling dus we verwachten het ergste... Ja de patat was anders , er zat schil aan dat was niet bij de oude eigenaar maar tja de zaak ziet eruit als boeters maar tis geen boeters meer ook al heet het nog zo. we namen 1 patat dubbele mayo, 1 patat pindasaus, 1 broodje bal en een baconburger, onze vaste boeters bestelling alles ging op en het smaakte best goed ( patat iets te vet maar wel lekker veel zout erop ) en INDERDAAD het is geen boeters meer maar wen er maar aan dat zal het ook niet meer worden, wel 1 kleine minpuntje de mayo, geswitched naar oliehoorn en dat is voor mij wel een dingetje. veel succes voor de nieuwe eigenaar.

Drinken daar thee na een flinke wandeling prima.

Patat is echt heerlijk! Goed gebakken en de milkshake is perfect! Aardig nieuw personeel, ze zijn heel vriendelijk.

Slechte toegang voor een rolstoel.

Goede service heerlijk eten. Schone zaak. En snelle service ondanks de drukte van waterpop. Prijs is ook echt goed!
