Snackbar De Instuif in Centrum

It actually deserves a zero. You can taste all the love that was put into it back then. In my opinion, the quality is simply better everywhere in the world. Tasteless.

De Instuif used to be a fixture in Hilversum, but unfortunately, it's not what it once was. Ever since I was 13 (20 years ago), I've been coming here on Friday and Saturday nights for a tasty snack, before, during, and especially after going out. Today (Friday into Saturday) I showed up at the door at 2:45 AM and they were closed, even though the website said they were open until 3:00 AM! This ruined it for me. I'll never go back. Such a shame! It's gone downhill since the takeover!

Good food and very friendly staff! I came in right around/after closing hours but they were still nice enough to prepare my order, which tasted great. I had the Turkish Pizza Chicken as well as the Chicken Sate Croquet. A suggestion would be to have printed menu cards on the walls/tables instead of a scannable QR code.

Home delivery order. After waiting half an hour for my order, I called the store and was not greeted properly... two hours later, my order arrived cold. The cheese sticks tasted like detergent, the sandwich was soggy, and the fries were cold.

The owners (a couple) and their son are disgusting people. They have no respect for customers whatsoever! Never order food from them!

The food made me sick this morning (ate it yesterday) which wasn't the best thing in the world obviously. The Shoarma sandwich was "meh" the Frikandel and Kroket were alright. Service was great tho, i got a call up front asking how i was going to pay because of the change. Atmosphere for me is a one. Not based on our interactions, but based on all the typical "tokkies" you find there every single day in front of the snackbar late at night. Doesn't give you confidence to go in there.

This is the 'hamburger XL' for €6.50. Wow. I'm truly embarrassed by this place... A half-cooked Mora burger, only one slice of cucumber was left, so little sauce I had to play the 'rusk game' (talking with your mouth full of this stuff), and 8-week-old bread. I don't complain easily, but this is truly awful. While I've never really had anything bad to say about this place, this 'incident' will ensure I never order from them again. Shame! P.S. No: there's absolutely nothing underneath.

Best snack bar in 't Gooi will say come by and taste the food really top restaurant open every day until 2:00 and weekend 3:00 really a top business is this?

I had a delicious special fries there. They had a great potato flavor and were fried for a long time. They came with a delicious curry. If you want the special fries with ketchup, be sure to let me know in advance, as they don't ask for it. So I was lucky. They were brought to the table beautifully on a tray with a napkin. The staff were friendly.

The food was fine, but I think it went wrong with the delivery. Order arrived, crushed and clammy, after an hour. Also, I didn't get my coke. I even had to point out to him that he was trying to ring the wrong building's doorbell

Delivery person was on time, (35 minutes after the order) and everything was warm and complete I find it very sad to read that many customers are treated so badly by the staff. I think you should treat your customers better. I often ordered from instuif years ago and have never had such experiences. The food was also better then. And how expensive it has become! Compared to other snack bars that provide much better quality and service, this is still the more expensive option. The food was very mediocre, frozen products that are fried, all the food was very greasy, for example, you could see the crispy crust of the chicken burger completely soaked with oil, which made the chicken look old as if you had fried it again the next day raspatat was crumbly and broke off at the slightest touch. It didn't have much taste at all. The strawberry milkshake was really very tasty! It was not a dramatic experience but also not worth repeating for us

PLEASE DO NOT ORDER DO THIS FOR YOURSELF What a crappy place. I had heard from several people that the food here is disgusting, but I thought: let me try it myself. Well, I shouldn't have. The food was really inedible - clearly not fresh, just old stuff that had been reheated. Yuck. I had ordered two drinks, only got one. And when I called to correct that, I was told that I had to come and get it myself. Seriously? As if I made the mistake? That is just antisocial service. As if that wasn't enough, I had clearly stated in the comments that they had to call me on my mobile number when they arrived. What do they do? Just ring the doorbell as if I hadn't said anything. Apparently reading is asking too much. In short: this was a complete disaster. Bad food, bad service, just plain disrespectful. I really advise everyone not to ever order anything here. Don't waste your money on this junk.

It is a disrespectful snack bar, I had ordered food together with my sister and we received it 30 minutes late and the food was also cold. The delivery man pushed it into my hand, causing the bag to fall and I made a comment about it and he immediately became aggressive towards me. Do not order here! Horrible how it works here

Very expensive, unpleasant atmosphere, not special food. No menu visible in the shop.

Went in on way home and was charged 9.50 for a chicken burger. Basically a frozen kip burger that was heated and charged extra for even tomato sauce! No menus and prices showing and really poor quality food. Said they could charge what they wanted as only place open.

Berenhap, lahmacun and baklava purchased: Bear bite was inedible, half raw and seemed spoiled (fortunately I didn't get sick). lahmacun was okay and so was baklava. The man behind the counter wasn't very friendly.

If there is any chicken and veal döner left over after baking, it is placed in the refrigerator. Unfortunately, they fail to heat the döner stored in this way sufficiently when serving it the next day, which can lead to food poisoning. I speak from experience because for 2 days I was vomiting and deflating, not to mention stomach cramps. And then when reporting it, they vehemently deny that it was their fault. I will NEVER get or order anything from here again!

Ordered Turkish pizza expensive and it was more dough and tomato sauce kapsalon gatverdamme and the staff is super rude and shouts at each other even after customers if you say something about it

I really love this Turkish place! I had Turkish pizza (lahmacun) - it was mega tasty. The people were super friendly and nice, and the waiting time was so short. It was warm & cozy inside. I strongly recommend it!

Terrible ball joint. Staff starts arguing when you come in, then they continue cheerfully. The guy who makes the Turkish pizza also quietly eats his nails before you put those 4 crumbs of lettuce on it. Price also very expensive.

Kapsalon lamb is very tasty and recommended, a bit pricey but definitely worth it.

Just delivered at the drop of a hat, and the food was on our table within 10 minutes. At first we were a bit skeptical that the food would have become hard from standing on the counter all day, but we were proven wrong with the first bite. Lovely calf hair salon and good service, highly recommended!

Ordered fries special and bear claw with 3 people. After 5 fries, there was no sign of an outing (anymore) and I asked for outings. The boss with a headscarf accuses me of having to remain honest. No customer is welcome and friendliness is felt by the owner. Chef himself is friendly.

Rude unfriendly people! When you stand in front of the door, the door is slammed shut with the text; order online. In our case this is not possible in terms of residential area. I will never come back here again!

The food is of excellent quality. It's obviously not super special, but you don't expect that when you go to a snack bar. The staff is very friendly and the food was ready very quickly. Still, the food was hot and certainly tasty. It is the ideal place to have something to eat before going out, or to quickly get something if you have just been to the pub. The price is also good, cheaper than most cafeterias in Hilversum.

I can always order food when I'm at work. Now there is no delivery for orders under 10 euros. Too bad you're going to lose customers that way

delivery was very fast! the kapsalon compared to smaller pieces of meat, little sauce, hardly any fries and too much onion, which made it not that tasty

Een prima tent, je hebt genoeg keuze op het menu en het is ook de goedkoopste snackbar in Hilversum. Het is ook tot erg laat open, ideaal voor bijvoorbeeld een zuipavond of late night snacks. Over de bezorgers kan het wel gebeuren dat ze bij vrouwen contact opzoeken, voor bijvoorbeeld een date. Dit is natuurlijk super onprofessioneel. Dit is al meerdere keren gebeurd. Het eten is opzich best prima weg te werken.

De patat is veels te hard. Alsof je op chips aan het kauwen bent. De overige snacks zijn ook hard. Alsof ze al een half uur onder een warmte lamp liggen

Net om 01:30 een Turkse pizza döner besteld, een gerecht dat ik regelmatig eet. Het eten was er om 01:45, en het is oprecht de lekkerste Turkse pizza die ik ooit gegeten heb. Heerlijk vers gebakken pizza, geweldig vlees, genoeg saus maar niet teveel. Instuif bedankt!!

Ik ben regelmatig klant bij deze toko, alleen wat ik vandaag gekregen heb om half 2 s'nachts. Ik sta versteld van de kwaliteit van deze Turkse pizza met donor. Alles was precies in de goede verhoudingen en het vlees was precies lang genoeg gebraden. Al met al ben ik wel tevreden met deze toko. Daarom raad ik ben ook zeker te spreken over de kookpraktijken van hen! Ga zo door!

Meest slechte kapsalon die ik in tijden gegeten heb, het personeel was verder wel vriendelijk.

De ras patat wat slap en taai, de berenhap was wat droog maar er zat genoeg saus op zodat er tenminste nog smaak aan zat! De mini loempia's waren wel lekker en knapperig

Heerlijke Ras patat en Broodje döner. Goede service en bezorger is zoals elke keer ruim optijd!

They food is alright. Not bad, not good. Kapsalon quality seems to differ when it's night time. If you order on thuisbezorgd they might mess up your order. Happened to me a couple of times but it's wasn't a big deal to me. People are generally friendly so it's all good

Enorm achteruit gegaan. Vroeger kwam ik er regelmatig 2/3 jaar terug. Laatst geweest maar nee.. hygiëne slecht, terwijl de eigenaar eerst passie voor de zaak had.. De laatste keer enorm chagrijnig geholpen en de kwaliteit is zeer verslechterd. Heel jammer, genoeg alternatieven in Hilversum te vinden.
