Just like old times, when I used to live nearby, I had an eierbal and fries here again. The food and the atmosphere are just as good as before. Only after ordering did I realize they still have those fantastic burgers. We'll do that again next time.

Very good experience. It was very small inside and you couldn't really sit there properly. That's why we brought the food with us. It was well cooked fries and a perfect frikandel. I also personally really liked the ketchup. The food was therefore delicious, but it was really too small to sit inside when it is so busy. The man who took our order was a bit pushy, but that may have been because it was so busy. All in all, definitely recommended!

Snack bar de Pepermolen was the best kept secret of Zuidlaren. Not anymore now. Everyone has discovered this local snack paradise. And rightly so! Every now and then I go “weird” at another snack bar in the very nearby area. But I immediately regret this! The tastiest croquettes, frikandellen and other snacks can only be found at the Pepermolen. Moreover, they have an extensive and interesting collection of literature. So waiting a while is certainly not a punishment!

Food is great. Much better than the neighbor across the street... we don't go there anymore.

Super good food for a very fair price and fast

While passing through, I got some fries, mayo and a croquette here. Was great. Compliments! Well cooked crispy fries. Tasty croquette. Large portion, so large that I had to resist eating it. So great value for money!

Don't pay attention to the reviews of vinegar whiners who give 1 star because their fries (most of the bad reviews undoubtedly come from people who call them "fries") are not fried to exactly the right doneness. This is absolutely the best snack bar in Zuidlaren and surrounding areas > friendly staff, large portions (especially compared to local competition) and delicious food. When ordering by telephone, the indicated time is not always met. This is not the result of laziness on the part of the owners/employees, but due to the enormous demand for quality. Go somewhere else with your semi-fried fries where no fries should come into contact with the sauce. Do you know why the sauce and the fries touch each other? Because they actually serve good portions of fries and sauce here! * I am only a customer of this snack bar, no other interests at all. Bit of a sad seller. Order a chicken burger, get a hamburger. Maybe tell them a bit too nicely that a mistake may have been made and tell them that I ordered a chicken burger but was given a burger. He then replied that he was sure I had ordered a hamburger. Excuse me (?!). Besides the fact that I had to make do with the wrong hamburger, it was also simply tasteless 🥲. Furthermore, too much of the fries were in the sauce, making it soggy, limp and lukewarm. Frikandel special was tasty.

You guys, whenever you ask for soft-fried fries, you get extra-hard fries. Just ruined half of my fries!!

For the 3rd time the fries were fried too hard, I asked for extra soft fried... The people are super nice there and the peanut sauce is delicious. Too bad that almost 3 full containers of fries are thrown away 😔

We were here at the Zuidlaardermarkt, the stalls were very busy to get some food, but you didn't have to wait long at this snack bar. Although it was also quite busy here.

A small but nice snack bar. We ate here today with the extended family. The frikandels were very tasty and the Juppieburger Royal wan was also very good.

The snacks we ordered were not really tasty. The frikandel special was small, with little sauce and onion. The bami disk was a bit bland, but it did have a well-baked crust. Furthermore, the egg ball also had a very bad taste, little curry or fenugreek to be seen.

The egg ball was sour, but above all tasteless. The people were very friendly!

Goed volk en goed eten Je krijgt je eten op een mooi bordje en geen wegwerp bakje. Mooi klein zaakje waar ze weten hoe je een goede snackbar moet zijn. Alles is mooi schoon en netjes en de eigenaren zijn vriendelijk tegen klant en eigen personeel

Patat met saté. Onder een laagje koude saté saus lagen een paar brokken van de haas waar ik wel wat van verwachte. Uiteraard praten we over een snackbar en geen restaurant. De haas was bijna taai. Patat bijna smakeloos, wel warm. Het was hem gewoon niet. De bijlage kwam uit het zuur en en lag ernaast. Het was die dag aardig fris buiten, erbinnen ook. Best een ongezellige tent.

Eten is heerlijk, maar je mag als klant niet naar het toilet....ik vind dat je dat minimaal aan je klanten moet bieden. Erg slecht. Of er nou zuidlarenmarkt is of niet...aan je klanten moet je een toilet bieden.

Constante kwaliteit, echt een snackbar

Wij zijn best kritisch als het om de friet gaat maar tijdens het eten waren we zeer enthousiast. Ook de friet warme vlees kan mij bekoren.
