Best snackbar in town. Don’t hesitate- go!

Most snackbars are completely complacent, happy to serve flaccid oily excuses for fried and some standard store bought snacks. Not here. Extremely hard working friendly service, serving up crispy fries and special snacks. Try their homemade loempia, and you'll taste their real meat filling for sure. Definitely worth their many "best snackbar" prizes they've earned over the years.

Delicious fresh spring roll eaten. Super sweet, cheerful, helpful people. We were helped quickly. Also recommended... delicious milkshakes, schnitzels and the pingsalon not to forget.

Very dangerous to live close to, every evening having to refrain from going and getting something! Especially in summer the soft serve ice cream is simply amazing! The personnel is always super nice and the food is fantastic, definitely the best snack bar I've been to!

Ordered the Pingsalon fries today for the first time. Read very good reviews here, unfortunately it was disappointing. The taste was good, but there was no sauce at all. The cheese on top was missing. It looked more like a fries platter than a salon.

I was here for the first time today, very friendly staff and a nice atmosphere and was pleasantly surprised when I got home because I thought the quality of the food was much better than at most snack bars in the area, so from now on I will get it here, it cost 1 euro more than normal, but that makes up for the food itself and is definitely worth the extra euro... so highly recommended 😜

I am a simple Uber driver. Who came to pickup order. While they are making it they offer me free snacks. I have been doing this job more than 1 years. This is the first time some restaurant do this for me.

After a few bad experiences at Kwalitaria, finally tasty and hot fries and snacks again. We have been out of the area for a few years now, and it is still as good at De Pinguin as it was back then.

It is not without reason that the Pinguin has been declared the best snack bar several times, all snacks are of good quality. However, I also like to come there for the friendly and pleasant atmosphere that always prevails there, partly thanks to the friendly staff. My favorite by far is the homemade spring roll, but they also have a nice variation on the hair salon, namely the ping salon! Every time I come there I leave happy, absolutely great!

Nadat UberEATS de bestelling zomaar had geannuleerd (en ik niet opnieuw kon bestellen omdat de Pinguin eigenlijk al gesloten was), hebben de medewerkers van de Pinguin alsnog zelf onze bestelling bezorgd. Enorm goede service, lekker eten, veel keuze en super aardige werknemers! Ik raad iedereen aan hier te eten.

I'm an outsider here - I stay sometimes in the neighborhood to cat-sit. But, I just love this place. First, the people running it are just the nicest. So friendly and with a great vibe. Probably partly because of that, the customers also have a nice vibe. It feels really part of the local community. Go for the grote loempia! (The big spring roll). It's homemade and delicious. Almost like an Asian burrito (with a side of fries it's quite filling). Great with the accompanying sambal. Makes me look forward to my next cat-sitting episode! 😻

Vriendelijk ontvangen, de Pingsalon was een echte topper! De huisgemaakte loempia is een favoriet geworden bij ons. We komen er snel weer eens.

Ik had de kipsate. Het was echt heerlijk! Het vlees was lekker mals, de saus verrukkelijk en de patat goed gebakken. Daarnaast was de service echt top, hele vriendelijke mensen!

Ik kom hier in deze zaak al meer dan 20 jaar en buiten dat je daar ff gezellig kan kletsen hebben ze daar de lekkerste snacks van schiedam

Hier geweest voor het eerst met vrienden die hier erg bekend zijn. Zeer vriendelijk personeel en ze kunnen de klanten bijna wel persoonlijk wat het erg aangenaam maakt en voor mij vriendelijk. Je voelt je gelijk op je gemak. Heerlijk een pingsalon gegeten deze was erg lekker. Ze maken ook huisgemaakte gerechten die schijnen super lekker te zijn.

Wij bestellen hier regelmatig, de ping salon is echt super! Het is er snel alles is vers en ze hebben heerlijke pinda saus.

Wij waren vaste klant, door verhuizing afscheid moeten nemen. Waren in de buurt en zijn naar de Pinguïn gegaan. We dachten dat ze ons niet meer zouden herkennen na 5 jaar. Wel dat hadden we mis. Deed de deur open en hij wist niet wat hij zag. Vol verbazing werden wij welkom geheten en zoals altijd hartelijk ontvangen. Het eten is goed, je word super geholpen en de sfeer is geweldig. Deze man heeft een geheugen waar je u tegen zegt, hij kent zijn klanten zelfs bij naam. Het is nooit vervelend om te wachten, het is er gezellig en dat merk je ook aan de mensen die er komen.
