We've been coming here for takeout for years. The food is fine, but we pay over €20 for fries and a snack for two people, compared to €14.40 at a fellow snack bar. Unfortunately, we don't anymore.

Very disappointing cafeteria. The prices are extremely high, but for the top price you invariably get the smallest portion of fries. That just feels misleading. The food itself is also not special at all; for this amount, you should expect at least a top-notch result, but that is absolutely not the case here. No return visit for me.

On our way back to Germany, we stopped here for a quick bite before doing some shopping. Very good value for the price, huge portion of fries and a good-sized burger. The quality was also very good, fresh salad and all. Highly recommended! 👍

The prices here are shockingly expensive. The man thinks his fries are made of gold.

Today we ate here for the first and last time, paying a total of €21 for a large special fries, regular fries with mayonnaise, a cheese soufflé, and two Coke Zeros. For what you get, that's ridiculously expensive. The place is incredibly small, and the so-called "restaurant area" is ridiculous. While we were eating, a woman who was just getting takeout sat behind us. Next to us was someone who had just ordered takeout. People who don't even eat there are taking up the seats. It feels messy and disorganized. There was absolutely nothing on the table: no salt, no pepper, no napkins. We were given a single wafer-thin piece of paper that could barely be called a napkin. Then the food. The fries were extremely dry. Not even a little greasy or crispy, but really, drier than air fryer fries. They didn't even shine. There was hardly any seasoning or salt on them; when I asked for seasoning, I was told it was already there. :ss The fries special were a complete disaster. The curry tasted more like watery tomato ketchup with a bit of spice mixed in. Not a nice dark curry color, but almost red like ketchup, and it tasted sour and peppery instead of sweet and slightly spicy. It was really bad; my tongue even started to itch. There wasn't much mayonnaise on them, and a lot of that strange "curry." The regular fries with mayonnaise also came with barely any fries sauce. All in all, it was just poorly prepared and completely out of proportion to the price. Almost €8 for a large fries special, and at this level? Truly scandalous. We ate reluctantly because we were so hungry and spent the money, left our leftovers, and left. The whole way home, we wondered how anyone could still come here. For us, at least, never again. In retrospect, we should have asked for our money back because it was truly scandalous. Anyway, luckily there's a snack bar on the other side of the shopping center. If we're ever in the area again, we'll go there. Never, ever again. Money down the drain! Don't do it!

€5.75 for a mini hamburger with two tomato slices, a slice of pickle, a small piece of lettuce, and a dollop of sauce. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw that tiny box. These aren't realistic prices. Have the Thuisbezorgd Awards (which impress no one) gone to my head, perhaps?

It's gotten ridiculously expensive!!! We order elsewhere these days. We've always had a great meal here; there's nothing wrong with the food. But those prices are heaven-sent. They're money wolves.

Walk back into the snack bar to ask for the “forgotten” container. “No, we put the sauce for 2 people in 1 container!” No, I’d like sauce for the other person too; there isn't that much sauce in a container like that. Yes, you just have to return your container and we’ll pour it into 2 containers. Hahahaha, that’s not how you treat regular customers! Just add an extra container of sauce. Done. Great service. Now what? I’m never coming back! Whining about sauce that costs you 5 cents to buy and now seeing €150 in annual revenue being ripped off....

Just an update, after being there, I was refused as a guest. Apparently, they can't handle criticism like the UK. Now that I've read all the reviews, I can't blame my son. It's terrible, but the worst cafeteria in Hengelo. I hope this one goes bankrupt again someday. I almost think you've thrown everyone who left a bad review out of the cafeteria. Well, now you can ruin your cafeteria with your fries, your expensive prices, oh yeah, and you're politely asked if you want to remove the review, haha. No. Now I thought, a special frikadel sandwich for 7.25. Well, compared to last time. 2 kids, 2 adults. 2 cappuccinos, Fristi chocolate milk, small children's fries with ketchup x2, medium fries with mayonnaise, 3 frikadelles and a cheese chafèle for 62.50. How about 37.50 at the other end of the shopping center? This is no longer about service or quality, but about getting rich quick. The owner himself is grumpy as hell, but the staff is friendly, even when they're not working. The food is getting worse every day. Apparently, they're skimping on the sauce; if you still have half your fries and want sauce, you have to pay another 50 cents for it. Back in the day, you'd get a little sauce for free with a smile. It's time for a new owner who actually knows his trade, instead of making his staff work like slaves while he himself sits on a worn-out stool with his phone. I went last time, but I wouldn't recommend it.

We've been going to this cafeteria for years, but the prices have become incredibly high compared to other cafeterias (like Kwalitaria Hengelose Es). Many items are a good 30% more expensive than similar quality items elsewhere. It's a shame, as it was conveniently close by. But the difference on our standard order is significant. It went from €33 to only €24.50 elsewhere.

Last week I got a LARGE fries at Henry's for €5.25, the price has since gone up to €5.50 as of August 19, 2025, and a few snacks, of which the bear's snack was completely burnt, totaling €18.80. Yesterday, I went to a fellow snack bar and a large fries cost €3.25. I haven't seen them since; the price difference is antisocial.

A typical cafeteria with sushi as the main focus. There were a lot of staff, so the price was quite high for what I'm used to: €14.95 for one majo fries, two croquettes, and a bamischijf (take-away). The taste was reasonable, though a bit salty and flavorful. The croquette was good, but the bamischijf (bamischijf) was disappointing. I've had much better food elsewhere.

An expensive deal. 3 fries with 2 vegan bami slices and 1 regular, all for €24.75. I think that's quite expensive, so I won't be back!

Just a regular chip shop with friendly staff, but 8 euros per portion of fries?!!!?? Just act normal.

Before we got back in the car on our way to the West we made a quick pit stop at Henry's. We chose to eat there and 2 x fries special and fries with mayo and curry and a special frikadel sandwich and a croquette sandwich. Fries could also be had without salt so that was fine and the food arrived quickly. I thought it was a shame that the sauce was poured over the fries and otherwise the food was average for the price and for a cafeteria. You can eat well there but it doesn't really have any atmosphere.

I've never eaten so cheaply before! You can safely raise prices. You, Henry. Are a money hound. It's very expensive and you can't eat it.

Unfortunately a very expensive Henry bacon burger, which is disappointing in terms of size and quality. Quite small and dry burger and a dry bun with little decoration. Also very cold inside. First and last time for me.

Quality is deteriorating rapidly. The meatball was inedible and the fries were downright bad. I suspect they had a different supplier because the quality was significantly better before.

Worst minced meat ball with special frikandels that I have ever had. Never coming here again for me.

Good cafeteria, but a pity that the staff forgot to give me my satay sauce.

20181221: Update: Recently standard "Fries without salt!" You can add salt to taste!!! Now we no longer have to ask for fries without salt. Great and exactly what it should be in this day and age! 20181011: Not just a snack bar! No, a snack bar where your wishes are also important. Everything is possible within the limits of the products. No "No, that's not on the sign!". Wide range and the combination with the sushi bar is also nice! We are happy to drive a bit for it 😎 2024 still fine, no changes.

Every now and then I eat a salmon sandwich here. In one word: DELICIOUS. It often takes a while because they bake the sandwich fresh, but they cover the sandwich well with a nice layer of cream cheese and smoked salmon. Very tasty.

Get 1, pay 2 here. Far too expensive factory fries once, never again.

Ridiculously few fries for such a price. Fries made of gold it seems 😭😭 Wasn't even half a plate full. Never come here again.

Fresh food, good service, speak English but don’t accept cards issued outside of the country

Special fries and bami disc, almost 9 euros lost, soft fries with about 1 liter of sauce on top, not to be eaten (sauce with fries), I would go somewhere else, staff is nice

-Food was cold -Cork the hamburger bun and cork dry -Had been on hold for about 5 minutes, I arrived, no one in the shop to be found. As if they don't want to make money -Food also way too expensive compared to other cafeterias In short, never order anything here again!!!

Internet prijzen aanpassen, bent in de zaak ineens veel meer kwijt dan op de site staat aangegeven, niet erg netjes

Vind het eten prima, maar werd vandaag vooral verrast door de after service. Men was ons mayonaise vergeten mee te geven. Diverse keren heeft men mij hierover proberen te bellen - direct nadat ik mijn bestelling had afgehaald - en toen dat niet lukte, werd dit alsnog direct aan huis gebracht mèt excuses.. heel erg netjes!

Leuk om hier met de kleinkinderen te eten. En aardig personeel

Prijzen zijn hoog, er hangt een gespannen sfeer.

Wij hebben heel goede ervaringen met deze snackbar. De patat is heerlijk en ruim voldoende. En overige artikelen zijn altijd heel goed. En heerlijk het gemsk van bestellen en op de hoogte gehouden van de bestelling. Werkt perfect en meerdere keren gebruik vsn gemaakt. Top snackbar.

Prima, blinkt niet speciaal uit qua smaak, maar 't is goed te eten. Voordeel voor de liefhebbers is dat ze ook sushi hebben, die moet je alleen weer via een andere site bestellen als je online besteld.

Heerlijk, het liefst zou ik het elke dag eten! Ik hou vooral van de pindasaus. Hebben jullie een recept of waar kopen jullie die pindasaus? Frikandel is helaas wel wat minder lekker maar alsnog is het te eten!

Gisteren saté gehaald hier. 6,50€ voor 7 stukjes vlees in een half gevuld bakje met weinig saus...

Fijne snackbar, niet te duur, en je kunt laten bezorgen!

Bij deze snackbar ben ik nu een paar keer geweest. Wat positief is, is dat het personeel je netjes te woord staat en dat je bestelling vlot klaar is. Wat mijn tegen staat os de wisselende kwaliteit van de bestelling.

Wordt altijd goed en snel geholpen, prijs richting de hoge kant.

Prima snacks lekkere braadworst is tevens Kyoto sushi

Goede snackbar! Ziet er allemaal schoon en verzorgd uit. Ze werken lekker snel en komen aan de wensen van de klant tegemoet. Sinds kort hebben ze ook sushi, wat ik zelf niet lust, maar die schijnt ook goed te zijn! Grote porties patat, te veel keuze uit snacks waardoor kiezen soms moeilijk is. Ok hebben ze heerlijke ijsjes...

Fijn personeel snelle service en goed eten. Ik heb een keer saté saus bij mijn mexicano gekregen ipv zigeunersaus maar het was toen stervende druk (kenmerkend voor een goede snackbar). Dus dat een keer voor komt in de jaren dat ik hier al kom is ze volledig vergeven.
