Sphinx in Heythuysen

What a fantastic experience! I recently dined at Sphinx and it was truly excellent.

Just jacked up the prices again 🤔 It's truly ridiculous how much they charge for a simple, quick meal. Such a shame; it used to be a good pizzeria, where we ordered regularly. But now you're just being ripped off; this price increase is completely ridiculous. The food is usually nothing special, prepared with little passion. Kapsalons are dry, and pizzas are often delivered with a burnt crust. Totally out of proportion to the price. It's time for a new grill/pizza/dinner place in Heythuysen.

Ordered two kapsalons, the doner were thick chunks of meat, and the fries looked like they'd been tossed into the container. Not recommended.

Delicious pizzas made in an Italian artisanal way.

I waited 2 hours for my food and still haven't got it even though they said we'll be there in 10 minutes, there were just chunks of döner on my pizza, it's a dirty, greasy shop.

Listen, I called in the evening, and the man who answered was unintelligible. Finally, after over an hour, our food arrived. Dry, tasteless, and practically just dough. It tasted absolutely awful. Then I called the man and told him it was inedible, and he hung up immediately! Customer service is nonexistent!

Especially nice after a night out.

After football, we thought we'd grab a quick pizza. Unfortunately, "quick" turned out to be too much to ask. We waited over 70 minutes for a soggy Magherita pizza, which came with a small container of sauce that was empty after two slices. You couldn't pay by card, so when you walked in, they asked what you wanted, and then they just made up a price. We went from €40 to €53, and the only extras were two cans of soda! Fantastic!

Scammers, asking for a different price than the one on the card. Happened several times.

Untidy restaurant and owner. We were overcharged at checkout. They gave each of us a large sandwich even though no one had asked for it. The food was also very mediocre.

Terrible meal. Dry chicken. Hardly any vegetables. When we received the bill, it was incorrect. We noticed the prices were higher. The owner explained: "I made the dishes larger." Not recommended.

I have to say that, despite the bad reviews, I had a good culinary experience. The contrasting flavors that greeted my taste buds struck a chord with me in a way that not many restaurants do. For example, they provided extra slices of salami so we wouldn't experience a shortage of salami on our salami pizza. If a restaurant can do this for me, then I consider a pizzeria to be one of the greats, and they can be very proud of both their chefs and their delivery service. All in all, I have nothing but praise for this fantastic place. Come order, everyone, because you won't regret it.

Very bad, I ordered at 23:04 and it said it could take a maximum of 1 hour and it only arrived after 1 hour and 59 minutes

I call them 10 times with a question and then it's I don't know sir beep beep beep hung up and they call again and ask for my order number I say okay let me see sir hung up again and my question for the best sir was why it took so long for the order to be delivered to home delivery it took 2 hours for the food to be delivered to my home then I'm honest people like that shouldn't even be active on home delivery big -9🥲 (I was so looking forward to my food)

I ordered food 1 pasta and 1 shawarma sandwich It took 1 hour and 45 minutes. While it is around the corner often called and they kept saying yes is on its way. And the meat is dry and pasta has no taste unfortunately

First of all we had to wait 2 hours for our food and when it finally arrived the delivery guy said we had been given extra sauce, in the end we got too little sauce and it looked like they had driven over it, the bag of chips was soaking wet the pizza boxes were crushed the pizza was burnt, it says there is lettuce in the kapsalon this is completely wrong there was only carrot in it. Children in Africa wouldn't even eat this, balletent.

Great location, owner was helpful. Pizzas were well filled, also the hair salon. 8 people, 2x drinks and food. average about 20 euros pp.

The order took a little longer (via home delivery), so I was offered some extras and that was free, good service and tasty food, also hot.

No pita bread with shawarma sandwich. But 1 sauce meat not warm

What you ordered was more than enough and was still nice and warm upon delivery. It's just a pity that there is no disposable cutlery included? The atmosphere is N/A, maybe that will happen someday!

I always buy the Kapsalon Chicken Special here. I have to say I really like it! The chicken is tasty and the vegetables are also generous (pepper, grated carrot and onion). That's why I almost always order this! I don't know what the atmosphere is like in the restaurant itself, I just order.

Excellent food, delivered on time by a very nice and attentive delivery person. Asked if they could deliver to the Leistert (at reception) and that was no problem.

Ordered via home delivery. I really like the hair salons and order there more often. The cabonara pasta is also very tasty and could sometimes use a little more flavor. Other than that I don't see anything wrong with it.

Contrary to all the negative reactions here, I thought it was quite okay. Especially considering that it is a fair in this city and he is very busy. It remains a shawarma place and not a porto maurizio.

Ordered a pizza, it was supposed to be delivered at 6:30 PM, 15 minutes later still nothing delivered. So I called this company and asked where my pizza was. "Just wait another ten minutes" I was told. When I said I was not satisfied with the service, the employee hung up. There was no point in calling back as there was no answer. Half an hour after the original delivery time (7 p.m.) still nothing received or heard back. Very poor and unprofessional service from the person who manages the phone.

Don't come to eat at this kebab, the whole place is completely dirty, your hands got stuck to the table, cobwebs on the windows, and we asked for money and it is completely burned, inedible, and they ask you for the money in advance, no Come eat this place, this will only give you infections.

This guy is crazy, I think you are fooling him, 2 hours later and still nothing and if you ask via tag, they closed the door again and had them bring food.

Owner is doing his best, which I can appreciate, but there are too many points that he still needs to work on. Came by to eat on site and was just not forced to order online. Payment can only be made in cash. Apparently not used to having customers in the business itself. I also had to repeat my order 5 times and still got the wrong one. If you want something simple like a pizza magaritha I recommend it, but otherwise not.

I WILL NEVER ORDER HERE AGAIN. Outrageous service. I order a pizza. Something goes wrong in their system and I am stuck with a lasagna.

Don't stick to the price. You can't eat shit. If you say something about it on the phone you will get a big mouth. Never again.

What a lousy business. The order was supposed to be delivered at 7:30 PM. Not so. Take the good advice and don't order here!

Had to wait 2 hours for delivery

Ordered several times in the past. There were frequent errors in the order that would be "resolved next time with a discount", but when the next order was placed they would no longer know anything about it. Furthermore, nothing was delivered after 2 hours, even though the order would take 15 to 20 minutes. During the second phone call asking when we could expect our order, we were grumpily waved away that it was busy. I canceled the order and never ordered anything again. Mido is 3 kilometers away, the food is better and the service is great there.

Food ordered online, delivered on time. Only I get the wrong menu, pizza salami looks more like pizza magherita. The menu also looks very similar to everything that has been left over and is completely inedible. Hopefully things will go well in the toilet tomorrow,... I'm afraid of it.

The guy who was taking my order took my cash from my hands even though I wanted to pay by card, also he was talking about me with other Dutch people (he knew that I don’t understand Dutch, his face was telling that it wasn’t great things about me). Pizza was good but doner kebab was the worst in my life, I asked for fries instead of vegetables, I got vegetables and no fries 😂, the meat was something that probably has 30% real meat in it. If you want to have a great service and eat good don’t come here

Amazing again,… and again! We even drive from twenty minutes to pickup this amazing diner. Always fresh and hot! Very helpful, friendly owner! Thanks again!

When you order food here, you will receive half of it. They do not know how to return the money to the customer due to their own mistake. Customer unfriendly and unhygienic. They threaten you if you want your money back. I would rather not eat for half a week than ever put food from this place into my body. Good luck with your business, when I see the other reviews you are doing a good job of smashing your own windows. 👍🏼

Meal not delivered.Very unprofessional on the phone. According to them, they are concerned.

Hebben op de camping besteld maar het was waanzinnig slecht iedereen aan de diarree en haren in de de kebab slechtste kebab ooit

Besteld, bij aankomst 10€ duurder uit. Kwaliteit was verder o.k pp de droge tuf spareribs na. Denk goed na en spreek vooraf duidelijk een prijs af. Komen ze die niet na, laat ze in hun sop gaar koken.

Was een regelmatige klant waar, als je niet veel eisen stelt aan haute cuisine voor een redelijk bedrag je maag goed kon vullen. De laatste tijd gaat zelfs die kwaliteit hard achteruit en de prijs met sprongen omhoog. Gisteren nog een shoarmaschotel besteld. Waar je normaal een behoorlijke portie vlees erbij kreeg was het deze keer maar erg weinig. Niet genoeg voor mijn eetlust. Opvallend irritant is ook dat er heel vaak ander personeel aanwezig is waardoor ook de smaak van het eten sterk varieert. Jammer dat jullie niets doen om de klant tevreden te houden. Zelf maken is lekkerder maar soms is afhalen gemakkelijker, maar hier heb ik nu sterke bedenkingen.

Het gaat weer de goeie kant op de pizza's zijn net zo lekker als vroeger

2x een online bestelling gedaan. Het eten werd netjes op tijd bezorgd. Frietjes nog knapperig, vlees smaakvol en n lekkere salade. Wij zijn heel tevreden!

Vandaag voor het eerst besteld bij Sphinx. Het aantal sterren maakten ons kritisch maar we wilden zelf een oordeel vormen dus bestelden we zelf en het was echt heerlijk! Levering kwam netjes optijd: 2 erg goed gevulde calzones, een mooie lekkere feta salade en knapperige gekruide frietjes. Wij hebben gesmuld! Daarom van ons 5 sterren, omdat ze het verdienen.

Pasta’s zijn eerlijk en snel klaar 👍

Wir haben am 30.09.2020 telefonisch etwas bei der Pizzeria Sphinx bestellt. Bei der Bestellung gab es ein paar Probleme , ich wollte dem Guten Mann am Telefon die Nummern aus der Speisekarte angeben . Die wollte er aber nicht haben sondern ich sollte ihm den Text aus der Karte vorlesen. Hat dann letztlich doch noch geklappt . Ich hatte um 16.30 Uhr angerufen , Bestellung sollte nach Angabe der Pizzeria um 18.00 Uhr an der Rezeption des Campingplatz geliefert werden . Fahrer der Pizzeria war um 18.05 Uhr da. Hatten Pizza und Nudeln für vier Erwachsene und zwei Kinder bestellt. War eigentlich alles lecker. Das einzige was nicht so ganz passte war der Salat. Aber wir sind ja auch letztlich in einem anderen Land da muss man sich halt etwas anpassen. Gesamtsumme der Bestellung war 52 € kann man eigentlich auch nichts sagen .

De bezorging is waardeloos en het eten is niet lekker als je nuchter bent

Lekkere pizza’s echter kwaliteit niet constant. Vaker zwarte randen. Van plannen hebben ze geen kaas gegeten. Denk dus niet wanneer je telefonisch besteld heb dat de pizza’s op de afgesproken tijd klaar zijn. Een extra half uur wachten is eerder standaard dan uitzondering.

Vertrouwd goed. Is wel meer een afhaaltent geworden. Maar kwaliteit blijft uitstekend.

om 17.50 uur gebeld om 2 pizza's te bestellen en laten bezorgen. Dame aan de telefoon zei dat binnen het uur de pizza's bezorgd zouden zijn. Na 1 uur en 30 minuten gebeld om te vragen hoe het zat met onze bestelling. Kreeg een kortaf antwoord en geen excuses dat het niet binnen de tijd gekomen was. Meneer hing zelfs de telefoon op toen ik nog bezig was met mijn klacht. Na 1 uur en 45 minuten kwamen de pizza's aan. De pizza waren kleiner dan normaal, de topping was genoeg. Helaas voor ons als vaste klant niet de eerste keer dat het gebeurd. Besloten nu om hier niet meer terug te gaan. Een tip: laat nooit bezorgen.
