Stadsstrand Vlaardingen in Oostwijk

We were incredibly lucky with the weather! The location was ideal. A stunning view over the water and lovely benches to sit on. There was a live band performing.

So nice to sit there without any rain.

It is clearly coming to an end, it is falling into disrepair. And if you are not from the area like me, it takes some searching. But apart from that, the atmosphere is good and it has something special, a beach between the old industry and with passing ocean liners as a backdrop. The food and drinks are good, but with high prices that you would expect in the city center.

Cozy sanctuary on the edge of the Randstad on the Maas. Workshop of Sander Bokkinga and Bokdesign, where the objects are made from garden hoses.

Beautiful location. Relaxed atmosphere.

Nice place with very unique atmosphere. I visited the Chili con Carneval that was there 8.09.24, and this was a great event, I will probably come here again, and the cocktails were also very good!

Charging entrance for a meaningless dance evening... the audience (I think less than 150 people) was okay and pleasant, but the (female) DJ ​​thought she was very good, cool and important(more) than the audience. She clearly played the music she liked and had no feeling for people on the dance sand at all. Make admission free next time. Then you will have a full city beach

Relaxed atmosphere and drinks affordable. Wonderful live music, lounge sofas. Over the years the sand has become less. Could use a few more cubic meters 😉

Drinks really MEGAAAAAA EXPENSIVE! feel free to bring your own things. It's nice that there is something like that in Vlaardingen, but I'd rather go to the surfing lake

Redelijk wel leuker als er muziek is

Een was niet echt goed zachtjes gezegd. Eten was lauw en bv de sate bv geheel uitgedroogd. Erwas vlaamsefriet bij of iets wat daarvoor moest gaan. Slap en totaal niet gaar. Erg jammer want de locatie is best wel gaaf.

Heel gezellig om te feesten en een drankje te doen!

Helaas was de kok ziek en zijn vervanger was ook niet lekker. Hierdoor niet veel keus op het al karige menu. Hopelijk volgende keer beter.

Op het strand op de kade kijken naar de grote vaart en genieten van de muziek.

Wat een super leuk concept, fijne sfeer, echt genoten! Jammer dat het seizoen inmiddels voorbij is maar ik kijk nu al weer uit naar volgend jaar 🥰

Leuk concept. Leuke feestjes worden er georganiseerd. Toiletten zijn netjes. Goed bereikbaar met auto, fiets en metro. Leuke ligging langs de waterweg. Personeel is vriendelijk. 2 minpuntjes...het zand lijkt vermalen beton oid, het kan vlekken op lichte schoeisel of kleding...en als het donker wordt komen de ratten tevoorschijn, iig bij de palletbanken... brrrrrr. (De oplossing is voor die tijd te gaan dansen, is sowieso veel leuker dan maar te blijven hangen op een bank...)

Gezellig,leuk ingericht,echt vakantiegevoel,aan t water,eten drinken,af en toe optredens,voor jong en oud,ook kinderen kunnen zich hier vermaken.

Nice place. But there were not really options for dine-in beside some basic snacks/platters even to Google maps mentioned that they have.

Świetne miejsce, super klimat, tylko jak dla mnie zbyt krótko otwarte w weekendy, nie jest łatwo i wypraszać gości o północy, kiedy to właśnie dopiero wszyscy się schodzą, nocą jest tam najpiękniej, powinni grać muzykę , organizować koncerty, grill powinien być ogólnie dostępny dla wszystkich, jest naprawdę spore pole do popisu które jest nie wykorzystane ! Brak sąsiadów w koło pozwala na bardzo wiele, nie rozumiem dlaczego właściciel jest tak ograniczony, przecież to miejsce to maszynka do robienia pieniędzy! ——— Sory muszę edytować opinie, dziś zauważyłem ze drzwi prowadzące do toalety, tak naprawdę prowadzą do strefy disco 😃

Ooit had iemand in Vlaardingen het idee om dit toe doen....een Stadsstrand en is het gaaf, gezellig en groot succes. Lekker op een vrijdagmiddag of weekend vertoeven, drankje, live band muziek luisteren en meer. Ook voor kinderen een aanrader. Niet rolstoelgeschikt, ruimte parkeergelegenheid op 5 minuten loopafstand (door het zand) en goede catering met het beroemde en heerlijke Vlaardingse Vulcaan bier. De prijzen zijn normaal tot hoog. Aanrader!!

Leuk initiatief. Langs de waterweg. Plek voor auto en fiets. Eten en drinken. Lounge banken. Heerlijk jn het zonnetje.

Sfeervolle strandervaring aan de Maas in Vlaardingen. Leuke zithoeken om met vrienden te praten, genoeg te spelen voor de kinderen en veel live muziek.

Gezellig stads strandje bijna om de hoek. Wij komen er vaker om lekker te chillen, drankjes drinken. Regelmatig ook leuke activiteiten en muziek.We love it en raden een bezoekje bij warme dagen zeker aan

Was weer heerlijk om met lekker weer een biertje te drinken op het leuke stadsstrand.

Het Vuurtorenwachtersfeest was helemaal super. Voor de crew niks dan lof!
