The food was delicious, and the staff were very friendly, enthusiastic, and competent—a rarity in these times of staff shortages! We had a three-course meal through a social deal: good value, generous portions, and allergies were well taken into account! (We don't recognize the reviews about unfriendly staff at all, but it might depend on who's working.)

Wonderful place! Enjoy the sun or the beautiful conservatory inside. The food and drinks are delicious and well-thought-out! I had the Norwegian eggs, highly recommended!!! And the carpaccio sandwich is also excellent! The drinks are also served properly! This is the Moscow mule!

You can really screw up a simple chicken satay. Hard chunks in it. Undercooked fries with large chunks of Parmesan flakes piled on top. Who's in the kitchen? I wouldn't recommend anyone to eat here.

After making a reservation and asking for a table in the conservatory, which we were promised, we were not allowed to sit in the conservatory even though there were still tables available. People were put there who had reserved via social deal. So from now on I will do it via social deal, it will also be cheaper! This was actually the second time this happened, very strange...

The food was good and reasonably priced. Sandwiches, soup of the day and bitterballen were delicious. You can get good local food here. Fast service and a nice warm terrace.

Terrible service! Waited to be seated for ages before anybody came to help us. Tables were never cleared. We had to ask for service every time we wanted something. Waiter was arrogant and ignorant. Never again!

We were treated so unfriendly upon arrival that we left again. I would like to speak to the owner as the employee's behavior was quite unprofessional. I read another experience from two weeks ago that is quite similar to ours. Possibly the same employee. I think it's a shame, considering the other good experiences.

Had a super good experience! The staff helped very quickly and the food was delicious. Had an extensive high cocktail for €22.50 (via social deal) and then stayed for a drink with tasty snacks, highly recommended!

We did not even make it past the aggressive man seating people. We waited patiently for a table, when the man came he said we would have to wait until customers in the restaurant left. As there were many tables free in the bar area we asked if we could sit there. We were only having coffee. The man snapped and yelled at us, “There is nobody there to service you so do you want a table in the restaurant or not?” After having just been yelled out by this man we declined and as we were leaving he yelled from the restaurant, “I am happy you are leaving!!!”

Modern restaurant with crossover cuisine. Concept is something you can (not have to!) share with others. You just put everything together and share it. Crossover cuisine as there was chicken with a delicious peanut sauce, rice with an Indonesian touch, sauce was quite spicy. But there was also goyza and hummus. We had the menu for 2 (€27.50 per person) and were pleasantly surprised. Only the celery steak wasn't our thing. Service was great (Zinep). He explained everything to us in English and gave us great advice. Food came quickly and warm and she even had time for a little chat in between. Really great service person. We will come again

We wanted to eat here today but were treated very rudely by a female employee this afternoon, so we left again. This lady clearly did not feel like working and as a guest I have never before been treated and sheltered like this during a visit to a restaurant. The atmosphere in the restaurant looked cozy, but I give it 3 stars because I was not there enough. Unfortunately I was not able to taste the food.

I was there with my family for tea and cake! We ordered 3 fresh mint tea, cost 4,30 each and cake. After some time we asked little hot water. The rude waiter brought hot water. But charged us 3,30€ for it!!! Saying it was charged as new tea. He didn't bring tea bag, cookie and honey. Nothing. Only hot water and charged for hot water! This is bizarre!! If u don't have it as tea, why to charge us. You should bring then tea and all what is included in it. If I ask Americano, do I need to pay for hot water seperately?? Shame and Never again!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

We visited Stan & Co. for a place to have coffee and snacks, with a place to sit down. Pros: pretty good helping of mushroom soup, which came with a generous slice of bread. The seating areas are very comfortable. Servers are polite and friendly. Cons: standard coffee is small and you'll probably want a 2nd cup. It's a tad pricey.

Good meal, problems with paying, didn't work out at all. Sir got angry. Is not entirely in line with the rules in the catering industry.

Terrible arrogance, you have to wait at a desk when you enter before you are assigned a table. The staff sees you, gives no sign of "we're coming" and leaves you helpless for 5 minutes. Then you get an annoyed restaurant manager who says: well, it's busy, isn't it? So you'll have to wait a while. The lady behind the bar also says: it's not without reason that the sign says you have to wait, right? Nice friendly responses! So you already don't feel very welcome. They try to be a hip bar with that desk at the front door, but it completely misses the point, it's not that hip. Then you get a table and you have to wait more than 20 minutes before they even come to take your order. I will never take one step in here again. Tip: find a nice place where they are happy that you come for a drink or a meal and receive you warmly, there are plenty of other nice places where they understand the catering feeling.

Enjoy your meal with social deal! Service was super friendly. Allergies were taken into account. And upon arrival, the waiter immediately indicated that the noise from a large group on the other side of the restaurant would stop in about 10 minutes. Super proactive and very nice. Drinks were brought every time immediately after ordering by a friendly waiter. The food was tasty, the portions were generous and the breaks between courses were just right. All in all a very successful evening!

I am disappointed with my today's experience at your restaurant. My son and I arrived at 18:20, well before the 20:30 closing time, and there were multiple unreserved tables available inside and outside. We requested to have dinner, however, the waitress turned us away, stating the restaurant was "going to close soon." This lack of hospitality made us feel unwelcome and undervalued. I hope you address this issue with your staff to ensure a better experience for future customers.

Enjoyed a social deal here. Was sufficient for that price. The carpacio was disappointing, it was wet and had no taste. There were tasty things on the normal menu. And that looked great too. Great location, great service!

The restaurant features a chic and modern design that creates a stylish atmosphere. The food was excellent, with quality ingredients and cooked to perfection. Particularly noteworthy is the outstanding service: extremely courteous, friendly and attentive. The price-performance ratio is surprisingly good and makes the overall experience even more convincing. Absolutely recommended for anyone who appreciates good food and first-class service!

Very beautiful restaurant, good menu but not really helpful service. I have order the chicken club and I have requested it without egg. They stated that the egg is in the mayonaise and they told me that then they have to remove the mayo. I asked them if they can replace this mayo with a normal mayonnaise and they refused to help me. In the end I ended up taking the club without sauce and to buy extra mayonnaise and to add it myself. Not ideal solution. The environment was nice but the service could be nicer and more attentive.

Voor 14 personen een diner gereserveerd. Type share. Verschillende maaltijden gevraagd vegetarisch, vlees en vis. Er werd gewoon te weinig geserveerd. Bediening zeer amicaal en wisselend aanwezig/beschikbaar. Buiten gezellig praten ging ze prima af. Jammer, gemiste kans gezien de ligging en mogelijkheden. Geen aanrader voor groepen.

Cute place but we did not end up eating there. We were ignored by the waitresses for at least 15 minutes. They said they will come to ask for the order; they didn’t. The table was dirty from the previous guests. They didn’t even clean it. Bad service. Very slow. Could be better ))) we had to leave without drinking a coffee at least )))

As Belgian tourists, we had a delicious meal here via Social deal. Super friendly waitress. Delicious food in a cozy environment.

Our server was very nice, helpful and had an amazing energy towards us. However, the food was another story. The steak was ordered medium and arrived raw in the middle and well done in the sides.

The 5 of us went to lunch. Small portions for quite a lot of money, and we also had to wait a very long time. Had an extra egg and in 2 cases they had forgotten this even though we had clearly stated it, and someone had also received a completely wrong sandwich. And the bun was also very tough, you really had to saw to get through it. When we said “we don't want to be annoying but this is the wrong thing” we got a sigh from the waitress. Empty glasses were not taken away and the staff generally found it a bit snippy. Not really recommended.

We did a social deal here at about twelve o'clock! Sandwich with a hot drink for ten euros. Very nice host, good explanation and a separate menu. You could of course also order additional items, possibly with a QR code on the table. I really liked the sandwich, with a generous amount of meat and toppings.

I tried to get a table and the hostess was extremely rude and said she could not serve us.

Bediening was vriendelijk. Het eten liet te wensen over en we moesten lang wachten terwijl het niet druk was. Coleslaw bij ons eten was niet goed. Had een vreemde smaak. Garnalen waren lauw en na opwarming kwamen ze terug met teveel tabasco erop? En wij zijn heet eten gewend. Ook het terug brengen duurde best lang. Burger was niet te eten. Geperst vlees geen verse burger in elk geval. De cheddar die erop zat was net plastic. En wij eten echte cheddar thuis dus ik weet het verschil. We hebben twee happen genomen van de burger die wat rauw was aan de binnenkant. Van een echte burger .. real good meat its okay. Dit was niet ok burger uit n vriesvak. We kregen als compensatie na niet te hebben kunnen eten een drankje. Laatste keer voor ons Bevelen het niet aan.

Nestled in De Passage, a lovely shopping arcade in The Hague, STAN is a delightful spot for a break while sightseeing or shopping. I recently stopped in for a coffee and some cake, and both were delicious. The service was very welcoming and helpful, adding to the cozy atmosphere. Whether you're looking for a quick refreshment or a relaxing pause, STAN is a fantastic choice. Highly recommended!

Delicious food and drinks. But it always closes way too early. We come there regularly, but if it stops at half past nine on Thursdays, we have to look for another place. I understand that if there are few guests, you won't stay open. But I think by closing early, the guests won't come back, and that's a shame.

SATURDAY EAT STARTED WITH DRINKS EARLY SPA BLUE BUT TAP WATER WAS BROUGHT OKĖ, IT WAS TAKEN AGAIN AND THE SPA WAS BROUGHT TO THE TABLE IN A LESS PLEASANT WAY. FOOD WE ORDERED SALMON, IT WAS ON THE GRILLING PLATE TOO LONG AND THERE WAS NO TASTE, EVEN IN THE SAUCE. THE VEGETABLES COULD BARE BARELY CUT AND NOR EATABLE. THE FRENCH FRIES WERE ALSO TASTELESS BUT IT COULD HAVE BEEN COUNTED TO €5'25. WHEN CHECKOUT AT ELLIANNA, I GIVEN THE ABOVE MENTIONED BUT WAS NOT RESPONDED TO AT ALL, WAS ONLY SAID OKAY YOU HAVE TO PAY THIS AMOUNT SO NO INTEREST AT ALL FURTHER IN THE CUSTOMER'S ESSENTIAL THAT THEY DID NOT CARE. Our favorite restaurant in The Hague. You definitely have to try the carrots and they are incredibly delicious… everything. This is the fifth time we've been there and we've been thrilled every time. We recommend….

As long as you don’t expect much from it, it’s fine. Staff is half Dutch, but friendly and helpful. The food and drinks weren’t expensive, but the quality was also a bit less then expected. Did eat quite okay, but expected more.

Nice service and perfect host, joke and patience combined. The food was very tasty and the sauvignon blanc also tasted great (not the most expensive on the menu). It's just a pity that while eating you are told that you have to order a dessert in advance or make a choice and you will probably receive a request with your coffee to calculate, 'if there are no more customers we have to close'. That's not what you want to hear when you've had a nice meal and want to sit down to dinner. And that just after nine.. otherwise great ambiance and the food makes up for a lot.

Stan is in a nice place in The Hague; Entrance via the passage and terrace at the Buitenhof. We had lunch there with 4 people, the service was good and personal. We took different sandwiches: avocado, carpaccio, crispy chicken and croquettes. All sandwiches were beautifully served and well prepared with fresh products. Prices were between 10 and 12.5 euros, so excellent price/quality ratio. We will definitely come back.

The place is in a very convenient, centrally located. However, the food was really bad, we ordered some bread which were very hard and felt like eating stones. Also the lumpias and the chicken nuggets were very salty and had no tastes at all. All the sources included especially the one for the lumpias and chicken were very salty. We couldn't enjoy the meals. Though the cocktails were good. I would suggest for the chef to reduce the amount of salt being put on the meals, its not healthy and also doesn't taste good.

Had a delicious high tea, good service, although you often had to find them yourself (walk there) - it was full so they must have been busy. Nice atmosphere too, a bit of a strange choice of music for what you expect with the decor (upbeat Latin for a place that looked a bit more lounge). Overall very good experience.

The restaurant that used to house a Mexican restaurant has been beautifully transformed into a cozy yet chic place. You are welcomed by friendly staff and the atmosphere feels warm due to the soft, pink colors of the walls and ceiling. We went here with a group for high tea. A number of us ate vegetarian and that is why we were given separate etagères. Due to a miscommunication, there were initially fish dishes, but that was resolved very quickly by the staff. It was very nice that our teapots were always replenished. You get all kinds of tea flavors on the table and fresh ginger and mint. The food was a combination of sweet and savory. This is how you got foccaccias with burrata + tapenade or avocado + muhammara. Unfortunately, the burrata sandwiches were swimming in oil and the muhammara had little flavor. I really liked the scones and empanadas. The pasteis de nata also lacked some flavor in my opinion. However, the entire experience was incredibly good; the fast service and relaxed atmosphere make it worth repeating!

High cocktail done with the two of us. We drank delicious cocktails and were served the Asian platter and flatbread with spreads. Everything was delicious and definitely worth repeating. We even ordered an extra Asian platter. The music was also great! We will definitely come here again!

Had a high cocktail this afternoon with my girlfriend and 2 friends. Snacks were delicious, plenty of tasty cocktails to choose from and the service was very friendly and attentive! We will definitely come back for a nice lunch in the sun on the terrace!

On Easter Monday we had lunch with three people at Stan's. The food (including the club sandwich) was carelessly thrown onto a plate and the spread contained large pieces of peel. Waitress: If you had said it before, I would have made a new one. Difficult if you don't come across the peels right away. A once-in-a-lifetime experience for us.

Super tasty food! We had made a reservation through social deal, everything was completely arranged and we could sit down straight away. It was very clear which dishes we could choose from because they have a special social deal menu. This is certainly worth repeating.

Unfortunately, my experience at STAN The Hague was not as expected. It looked nice from the outside, so we decided to have lunch there. Upon entering, my party and I were completely ignored, despite there being many available tables. This lack of attention was only compounded by the fact that other guests in the row behind us had the same complaints. After we finally walked up to a waiter (who we understood was a manager) we were treated with extreme arrogance and very unfriendly. While we were talking, he didn't even look at us and kept looking at his cell phone. This was disappointing and did not contribute to a pleasant atmosphere. The long wait was, as described in many other reviews, made worse by the rude attitude of the staff. Unfortunately, we decided to leave the restaurant immediately due to the unpleasant experience. It's a shame we couldn't enjoy the meal we were looking forward to and definitely don't recommend this restaurant. We immediately went to restaurant 'T Goude Hooft (cosy and only 2 minutes away), where we were immediately helped by very friendly staff and ended up having a delicious lunch.

Very tasty meal. The cocktails are very good and the food is tender and exceptionally prepared. Lots of flavour! Highly recommended! I also recommend the popcorn dessert, which is really delicious! The cheesecake is not a cheesecake, it tastes like butter and the base is not crispy. We don't recommend that.

Echt een goed restaurant. Wij waren met een grote groep. Er stonden verschillende soorten broodjes op tafel, we kregen een flinke kom soep en kwark/ yoghurt met vers fruit. Er stonden kannen met melk, jus en water op tafel. Heel verzorgd allemaal.

Het begon erg goed, veel intresse en klantvriendelijkheid. Maar nog voor het hoofdgerecht was dit geheel verdwenen...lang moeten wachten..en het gevoel gekregen vergeten te zijn...klantvriendelijk heid zou moeten duren tot je de Deur verlaat...
