Saturday, 8:00 PM. I was told I'd have a 20-minute wait for an Iced Americano. We had to cancel the order. I've included a photo of the restroom. It was the dirtiest Starbucks restroom I've ever seen.

A Starbucks where the baristas don't understand English

The toilets are beyond disgusting. They wanted to serve stale filter coffee.

The location is great, a place where you can take a break and have a coffee. The seating areas in the front are quite comfortable.

The diskettes are weathered and have been there for a long time, it's not very tasty.

Worst Starbucks coffee I've ever had!! I'd give it a zero, but there isn't one! The lid for drinking is also very bad.

It opens early and the coffee is very good. The prices are affordable, especially if you choose a special offer: a small drink of your choice (Americano, latte, or tea) and a croissant, pain au chocolat, or doughnut cost us less than 4 euros.

The opening Hours do not match with what is showing on the official website.(Starbucks.nl) This Starbucks in (Rokin Amsterdam) took our order around 19:45 PM and then after we settled to enjoy our coffee, the employee with Blond Dreadlocks(male,a little chubby) told us that we had to leave in 5 minutes,because they are closing at 20:00 instead of 21:00. When i showed him the opening hours on the website, he just said “ok” and gave us the dismissive hand( talk to the hand) and told us “ i am not gonna discuss with you, just leave a bad review “ . And kept flipping the chairs on the tables to close the store. Very bad service experience because of this specific employee. I have asked the supervisor to update their website because of the unmatched closing hours on the website. Look at picture for proof.

A very standard Starbucks at a busy place – good and reliable café, but probably not the shop you'd choose for a cozy date. But if you're looking for a good takeaway cappuccino near Rokin, this is your go-to place :)

The coffee wasn't good, we can do better here in Germany. The waiting time was too long and the order wasn't complete and I had to ask again. It seemed to me as if the service was overwhelmed. The ambience outside is pleasant and the only positive thing about this Starbucks.

The toilet is out of service even for the customers. Service is extremely slow at the least crowded morning hours.

Schandalig slecht. Toiletten defect. De vreselijk onbeleefde manager vertelt doodleuk dat deze al bijna een jaar defect zijn! Bediening verstaat geen Nederlands en slechts beperkt Engels. This Starbucks surprises not for the first time! I was served coffee in a dirty cup, I asked to recycle and use a disposable cup because I didn't want to drink from a cup anymore, and the barista just poured it from the cup into the cup! Once before that, they started wiping my dirty cup with a dirty rag! A seam in the cheek! Be careful! This Starbucks never fails to surprise me! They served my coffee in a dirty cup, so I asked them to remake it and use a disposable cup instead, as I no longer wanted to drink from a cup. The barista simply poured the coffee from the dirty cup into the disposable one! On a previous occasion, they started wiping my dirty cup with a filthy cloth right in front of me! I'm in shock! Be careful!

Student workers who don't know how to make coffee. And the toilet was simply taped off with "out of order" because they were too lazy to clean it.

Even though I had purchased the drink on site, they didn't want to give me the code to use the services! That's not correct

Normally well received, but on this day a grumpy, sleepy and incompetent barista served us coffee that smelled like fish. Several customers also complained. Please do not hire any more staff for the fish department.

The coffee was good, and I didn't have to wait because there were few people. What I didn't understand was the three waiters who spoke Spanish among themselves, and when I addressed them they preferred to speak to me in English... anyway

The girl who served me was lovely—kind and enthusiastic despite looking a bit tired. I asked for a “small” matcha tea latte but was charged for a “tall,” possibly my mistake. However, the matcha quality didn’t match the price.

In the Netherlands, the cashier girl treated me very badly because I ordered in Dutch. Be spoke to me in Spanish. He neither asked my name nor asked if I would like to drink here. He's a very rude person. He reacted angrily to even the simplest Dutch sentence.:0

GET YOUR TOILETS FIXED! It has been like this for months now. IT IS ILLEGAL!!

They gave me something I didn't ask for, in addition to the fact that the bathroom couldn't be used, poor attention from the clerks.

WCs are ALWAYS out of order. The barista (Man in evening shift on 4 January 2025) is unplesant. The fact that the WCs are OUT OF ORDER is disgusting. Never again!

Me and my friend were enjoying our koffie outside on the terrace when employees came outside and started cleaning the terrace before closing. It was 3:20 and they close at 9pm. They told us we could sit inside were there was barely any space left. They were also rude. AND there was a fat fly on the food.

I ordered a combination meal. With a grilled cheese sandwich. The bun was heated in the microwave and was super soggy and soft. Didn't eat it! Waste of money.

Nice location for a good coffee . However the toilet is probably permanently out of order 😀. If you ask the staff about the toilet then they get offended . I understand they have to answer 100s of customer who ask the same question but they choose this job so I think they should be polite enough and should not show frustration on their face about the question! Rest all is ok 👍

Must be the only Starbucks on the planet without a restroom/toilet. At least, that’s what they claimed. We purchased drinks and food so that wasn’t the issue.

They have a broken dishwasher so they are always serving in to go cups. Also their toilet is out of order. I think this is just a strategy for less work.

Toilet wasn’t working one time , next time no toilet paper . Staff quite rude , lady with the glasses and brown hair( don’t know what her problem was but she also complained in front of me of her job and people not appreciating her but then was rude to me ?). Whole store is kinda dirty as well .

Long waiting time when the store is a little full. It's not the fault of the employees - they are hardworking and very nice! The ice cream cup is half full of ice cream - I would have liked a little more coffee. Unfortunately the toilets were also closed. I'm not so enthusiastic about it and I'm basically happy that we don't have to come back here.

Starbucks at Rokin 74 in Amsterdam is a nice and quieter place compared to other locations. They have improved their drinks, and the variety remains as big as always. Coffee was so hot I burnt myself. I had to take the lid off and cool it for five minutes and it was still too hot. Also they are using these stupid lids in Amsterdam that no other country uses, so the drinking hole is not in the same as a normal Starbucks and you can taste the cardboard while you are drinking it.

I enjoy coming here to grab an iced americano, and work or read. The music is at a decent volume, the staff are friendly, and it's usually less crowded than the Starbucks at Damrak. The high ceiling creates a spacious atmosphere, and the interior is bright and clean. However, it can get quite warm on sunny days, and they could definitely use some better air conditioning. Also, they only have one toilet, and you need to get a code from the counter to use it. There's always a long line, so I suggest going elsewhere before stopping by this Starbucks.

I am a Starbucks loyal customer but this branch is at least subpar. Went today and asked for a brown sugar shaken espresso which is not served there anymore apparently. Well if its not served then take it out of your menu perhaps? Then proceeded to buy an iced caramel macchiato and when I asked for a straw the lady looked at me and blunty told me sorry we are out of stock. When I asked her how I am supposed to drink a cold beverage without a straw she just replied "I don't know". My advise: the least you could do is to inform your customers upfront in situations like these and let them judge if they want to spend their money here or not. We pay 7 euros for a coffee and you can't even provide a straw? That's a first timer for me never thought a Starbucks would be out of straws! Rude, self centered staff here and bad Starbucks experience they don't value your money. Unprofessional, stay away.

Only after paying was it reported that the ordered drink was no longer in stock. A cheaper version was offered as an alternative, but nothing was said about money back. Was also poured very irregularly. Also had quite a strange interaction with one of the staff members.

The cheesecake was delicious, but there was always a very long line at the bathroom. This should be improved!

I am Albert loyal Starbucks customer / lover, but will never go back to this place, rude self-centered staff. I recently visited the Starbucks location in Amsterdam and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Not only did I have to endure a prolonged wait for my drink due to inadequate staffing, but what was even more frustrating was observing numerous staff members engaging in leisurely conversations instead of attending to customers promptly. It's disheartening to see such disregard for customer service while patrons are left waiting for extended periods. Improvements in staffing and prioritizing customer needs are essential to enhance the overall experience at this location.

Terrible toilets, plenty of what appeared to be homeless people, general issues with cleanness. I dont expect much from Starbucks anymore, but here I was dissapointed more than usually.

It’s okay - close to centraal station, toilets, tables to work with a laptop etc. Everything is just really slow and really dirty - no toilet roll, soap, plates and cups left on the tables for a long time etc

The store is comfortable. It's full, but seats become available quickly. The table is dirty because the guests don't clean it after they leave.

Ordered a Starbucks Frappuccino Java Chip. This was really made wrong and very bitter. Immediately reported this to the cashier who continued to insist that it was fine. Another colleague, I think the manager, stepped in and made a new one. this one was good.

I was there on Christmas Day at 9:30 and they didn't like my English because the staff there literally laughed at me. I find it disrespectful. The universal language is education and they didn't have any here. For that alone, I don't plan to ever enter a Starbucks again in my life.

Somebody skipped the line and when I asked if customers are not helped in order of the queue the barista asked me what I meant.

The room itself is so-so. Like everywhere else and throughout Europe. Shabby. Cold. They save on heating. The coffee is good. And the sales guys are polite.

Starbucks is always considered my favorite place to go around the world. However, I really felt attacked by one of the staff who was taking my order. She asked me about my name. But she “mistakenly” pronounce it to “Demon” instead of Abdulla 😉

The only positive thing about this place is the staff. The AC doesn't work and it's not pleasant to stay inside during warm days. Please choose other cafes as this corporation fails to invest in the people and the workers health.

Very hot inside while waiting for the order, may make you sweat. A coffee shop that doesn't even smells coffee, makes the coffee extremely hot for some reason. Inside area is poorly decorated without any theme. Staff is helpful and polite. Nothing really important....

The quality of the drinks and pastries were great and the staff were really nice. However, it was super hot inside as there was no air conditioning available. It just made staying inside waiting for my order a big hassle. Even a fan would have been appreciated. Also, my request for less ice was totally ignored which could have been due to how incredibly busy it was that day.
