Typical modern Starbucks. Servers somewhat overwhelmed and slow, long wait for drinks despite normal customer traffic.

The people working here are very friendly. But unfortunately this Starbucks is not well taken care of. Tables are dirty. The toilet was extremely dirty and no soap available. There is AC inside which helps on a hot summer day.

That's what you get at Starbucks, especially in a very busy and touristic spot of Amsterdam. Spaces are clean, tables not always tidy but overall OK. The staff tries the best to serve all customers in a timely manner although prices are out of reasonable market!

Went here to get new coffee cups for the Dutch finals exam, I got helped by 2 friendly employees who were both patient as well. A nice place, little busy but overall good vibe and happy people. Got to enjoy a free drink after the purchase of 3 packs of coffee cups!

One of the worst Starbucks visits yet. We wanted to eat and drink inside, and only got everything as to go. One drink didn't look as advertised at all. We had to ask for plates for our cakes, and needed to share 1 (!) plate with wooden spoons. We could see that some sitting guests also got to go products, some of them 'real' plates and mugs. Very strange. Only one restroom available which was used by a lot of non-guests (larger groups) with very long waiting queue, staff wasn't interested at all. Quality of coffee and cake was as expected.

It’s the most beautiful Starbucks I’ve been to - perfect for pictures. The staff is nice and approachable with minor mess ups. The lime cooler is my current favorite- super refreshing!!! I highly recommend trying it! 🍋‍🟩🍸

At this busy location, the indoor seating area is crowded but in good weather the outdoor patio is great. However it’s hardly ever cleaned and sometimes used by non-customers as a seating area. The staff often claim that the dishwasher is out of order, to avoid using porcelain mugs.

Unfortunately, this was the worst iced latte I’ve ever had. It was far too watery and had a strange, unpleasant consistency. Additionally, there were too few toilets available, and there wasn’t even any soap provided, which was quite disappointing. Overall, not a great experience.

The staff speaks English, didn't get my name wrong, and prepared quickly.

Super cute in the center of Amsterdam. We had a super good cappuccino and frappuccino and the staff was friendly and kind.

It's a starbucks. Always busy at this location. There is seating inside and out which is great. The staff are polite, service was good. Cold snacks and hot drinks. Swing by anytime, but prepare to wait it bit as this is a hot spot

It's a regular Starbucks store. I really like the concept. They have amazing hot cheese sandwiches. The coffees are equally good.

Unlike other experiences, I had a truly enjoyable time at this Starbucks in Amsterdam. Everything was clean and tidy, and the place made me want to settle in comfortably! My Refresha was excellent, perfectly prepared, and above all, the staff were incredibly kind, warm, smiling, and very professional. Honestly, it's a pleasure to encounter such a pleasant team! Thank you so much ❤️

I ordered coffee, and for some reason, it didn't come out for about 25 minutes. Instead, only the coffee of the person who paid after me kept coming out. I was so angry waiting. Also, the bathrooms at European Starbucks stores are so dirty and poorly maintained.

We are here in town. Had to stop for my fix. Great, friendly staff. Been 6 times in 4 days. Very busy place. Take your own loo roll. Only 1 for all tn use.

The service was excellent and fast, the branch was very neat and pleasant, with both indoor and outdoor seating available. Miss Laura service was very kind and friendly.

Very slow, a kilometre-long queue and the two baristas were playing at banging their blicks on the counter on purpose, to discourage us, many of us left, don't go, waste half a day for a coffee and it's not worth it

Coffee and croissant good value at 3.9 euro but . . tables around us did not have dirty dishes cleared away - entire time we were there! Staff priority was chatting amoungst themselves - very funny and extremely poor

I am a very loyal Starbucks customer / lover, but will never go back to this place, rude self-centered staff. I recently visited the Starbucks location in Amsterdam and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Not only did I have to endure a prolonged wait for my drink due to inadequate staffing, but what was even more frustrating was observing numerous staff members engaging in leisurely conversations instead of attending to customers promptly. It's disheartening to see such disregard for customer service while customers are left waiting for extended periods. Improvements in staffing and prioritizing customer needs are essential to enhance the overall experience at this location.

It’s a nice Starbucks. Great decor and everything. But it takes forever to get your drink. Some more baristas are needed I would say.

Unlike others I like to visit, this one was dirty, glasses and plates not cleared. So noisy that you can't hear the person you're talking to. The tables - not cleaned. What a pity!

I couldn't figure out on the spot why Starbucks is so popular. It all comes down to how I sell myself, and Starbucks does that cleverly and well. The coffee isn't anything special, but the crowds are mainly interested in walking around with a branded mug. "Look at me..." And that apparently works very well. Starbucks staff also presents themselves (a bit) with a lot of surface-level presentation, just like the coffee. So, I get my regular coffee elsewhere, without all the frills. Also because I can just use a restroom that works and is clean.

Saturday, 8:00 PM. I was told I could wait 20 minutes for an Iced Americano. We had to cancel the order. I've included a photo of the restroom. It was the dirtiest Starbucks restroom I've ever seen.

A Starbucks where the baristas don't understand English

The location is great, a place where you can take a break and have a coffee. The seating areas in the front are quite comfortable.

The toilets are beyond disgusting. They wanted to serve stale filter coffee.

The diskettes are weathered and have been there for a long time, it's not very tasty.

Worst Starbucks coffee I've ever had!! I'd give it a zero, but there isn't one! The lid for drinking is also very bad.

It opens early and the coffee is very good. The prices are affordable, especially if you choose a special offer: a small drink of your choice (Americano, latte, or tea) and a croissant, pain au chocolat, or doughnut cost us less than 4 euros.

The opening Hours do not match with what is showing on the official website.(Starbucks.nl) This Starbucks in (Rokin Amsterdam) took our order around 19:45 PM and then after we settled to enjoy our coffee, the employee with Blond Dreadlocks(male,a little chubby) told us that we had to leave in 5 minutes,because they are closing at 20:00 instead of 21:00. When i showed him the opening hours on the website, he just said “ok” and gave us the dismissive hand( talk to the hand) and told us “ i am not gonna discuss with you, just leave a bad review “ . And kept flipping the chairs on the tables to close the store. Very bad service experience because of this specific employee. I have asked the supervisor to update their website because of the unmatched closing hours on the website. Look at picture for proof.

A very standard Starbucks at a busy place – good and reliable café, but probably not the shop you'd choose for a cozy date. But if you're looking for a good takeaway cappuccino near Rokin, this is your go-to place :)

The coffee wasn't good, we can do better here in Germany. The waiting time was too long and the order wasn't complete and I had to ask again. It seemed to me as if the service was overwhelmed. The ambience outside is pleasant and the only positive thing about this Starbucks.

Schandalig slecht. Toiletten defect. De vreselijk onbeleefde manager vertelt doodleuk dat deze al bijna een jaar defect zijn! Bediening verstaat geen Nederlands en slechts beperkt Engels. This Starbucks surprises not for the first time! I was served coffee in a dirty cup, I asked to recycle and use a disposable cup because I didn't want to drink from a cup anymore, and the barista just poured it from the cup into the cup! Once before that, they started wiping my dirty cup with a dirty rag! A seam in the cheek! Be careful! This Starbucks never fails to surprise me! They served my coffee in a dirty cup, so I asked them to remake it and use a disposable cup instead, as I no longer wanted to drink from a cup. The barista simply poured the coffee from the dirty cup into the disposable one! On a previous occasion, they started wiping my dirty cup with a filthy cloth right in front of me! I'm in shock! Be careful!

Student workers who don't know how to make coffee. And the toilet was simply taped off with "out of order" because they were too lazy to clean it.

Normally well received, but on this day a grumpy, sleepy and incompetent barista served us coffee that smelled like fish. Several customers also complained. Please do not hire any more staff for the fish department.

In the Netherlands, the cashier girl treated me very badly because I ordered in Dutch. Be spoke to me in Spanish. He neither asked my name nor asked if I would like to drink here. He's a very rude person. He reacted angrily to even the simplest Dutch sentence.:0

GET YOUR TOILETS FIXED! It has been like this for months now. IT IS ILLEGAL!!

They gave me something I didn't ask for, in addition to the fact that the bathroom couldn't be used, poor attention from the clerks.

WCs are ALWAYS out of order. The barista (Man in evening shift on 4 January 2025) is unplesant. The fact that the WCs are OUT OF ORDER is disgusting. Never again!

Me and my friend were enjoying our koffie outside on the terrace when employees came outside and started cleaning the terrace before closing. It was 3:20 and they close at 9pm. They told us we could sit inside were there was barely any space left. They were also rude. AND there was a fat fly on the food.

I ordered a combination meal. With a grilled cheese sandwich. The bun was heated in the microwave and was super soggy and soft. Didn't eat it! Waste of money.

Nice location for a good coffee . However the toilet is probably permanently out of order 😀. If you ask the staff about the toilet then they get offended . I understand they have to answer 100s of customer who ask the same question but they choose this job so I think they should be polite enough and should not show frustration on their face about the question! Rest all is ok 👍

Must be the only Starbucks on the planet without a restroom/toilet. At least, that’s what they claimed. We purchased drinks and food so that wasn’t the issue.

They have a broken dishwasher so they are always serving in to go cups. Also their toilet is out of order. I think this is just a strategy for less work.

Toilet wasn’t working one time , next time no toilet paper . Staff quite rude , lady with the glasses and brown hair( don’t know what her problem was but she also complained in front of me of her job and people not appreciating her but then was rude to me ?). Whole store is kinda dirty as well .

The coffee is very good, all kinds of coffee, I can recommend the quality, it's not cheap at all, the atmosphere is good, the wait is a little longer when it's crowded, which is normal, the workers are all hardworking and very friendly

Long waiting time when the store is a little full. It's not the fault of the employees - they are hardworking and very nice! The ice cream cup is half full of ice cream - I would have liked a little more coffee. Unfortunately the toilets were also closed. I'm not so enthusiastic about it and I'm basically happy that we don't have to come back here.

You can also sit outside, with a view of walking tourists / people on the famous Rokin street…

Coffee was so hot I burnt myself. I had to take the lid off and cool it for five minutes and it was still too hot. Also they are using these stupid lids in Amsterdam that no other country uses, so the drinking hole is not in the same as a normal Starbucks and you can taste the cardboard while you are drinking it.
