I'm writing this review after Daria, the blonde employee with a low ponytail, repeatedly sent us away from the outdoor area of ​​the store at 5:30 pm, where the padded chairs are. It's not the first time she's done this, saying she has to clean. The store is open until 6:00 pm, and it's not my problem that she has to clean that area. If there are customers, you can't expect them to get up half an hour earlier just because you have to sweep. She's not only sending away the people sitting on the benches, but also those sitting at the tables and chairs. I'm there to consume something, and if the store is open until 6:00 pm, I have the right to stay there until then. I hope her manager reads this and takes responsibility for this behavior, because the next time I'm there, I'm going to ask for a complaint form.

I visited Starbucks today with my mother and had a very disappointing experience. Yesterday, I tried the €9.95 meal deal (drink + sandwich + dessert) and everything was fine. Today, we ordered two of the same meal deals, which should have totaled €19.70. However, the system kept showing a price over €20. I clearly mentioned that we were dining in. When I questioned why the price was higher, the cashier had no idea and kept trying to say nothing’s wrong and finally called another staff member, who simply told me that the difference was “JUST a few cents” and that this was the takeaway price. Instead of clarifying properly or apologizing for the mistake, the response came across as dismissive, almost as if I was wrong to even ask about the discrepancy. What I expected was a simple apology, which would have been enough to make me leave satisfied. But the lack of accountability, poor handling of the situation, and the attitude of making excuses rather than addressing the issue left me with a very negative impression. As a regular Starbucks customer, I hope the staff can receive better training on handling billing issues and on how to communicate respectfully with customers

The staff was friendly, but spoke almost exclusively Dutch. English or German was barely enough to get by (at least the lady at the cash register did; the other one understood me). Secondly, they only had paper cups, not plastic ones, so you had to drink your Iced Caramel Macchiato or Java Chip Frappuccino from a hot drink cup. Carrying your drink with whipped cream (because you're ordering it to-go) is a bit difficult. But the service was good, as were the drinks. It was relatively quiet, but I still only had to wait about 5-10 minutes (I ordered four drinks).

Very rude staff at Starbucks. I asked for a ceramic mug and the woman (possibly the manager) refused and spoke rudely. My order was almost €15, but she didn’t care at all about customer service. I walked away and went to another place. This isn’t the first time I’ve seen such behavior here — they really need to learn how to talk to customers.

Food and coffee have always been what I expect from Starbucks. I was with my baby with the stroller and had placed my order and took a seat. It took and took, so I asked the lady I ordered from if the order was ready yet. She didn't speak English and said: it was done a while ago. And continued with what she was doing. I indicated that if she sees that I do not hear her or there is no response, that she could also have brought the order (that is called service). Then I had to repeat it again to her colleague because the employee in question didn't do much with it. She ended up remaking my order and this time I just waited at the takeout corner. The music was very loud, which may be why customers do not always hear when their name is called. It is a small effort to remember customers and to simply bring the order to the table if the customer does not hear it. Let your employees know what service and customer focus is. Otherwise they shouldn't be working in a coffee shop.

The salesladies are "Chagrijnig/sacherijnig" in particular the one with the name tag "Elena". As an international food and chain company, the waiters/waitresses should be friendly, accommodating and a kind attribute to the customers so that many more customers will be more attracted to buy and support the product. In the last decade, I’ve been to countless Starbucks branches across 2 continents and 8+ countries, and this has to be the least jovial, least cheery branch of them all. I don’t know whether it’s the lack of training, or the individual mindsets of the baristas, or just a sheer unwillingness to be happy - they just don’t smile. They don’t pay attention to the details of your order, and when they end up making a hot mocha instead of the cold one, the passive aggressively blame you for the mistake. All I could say at the moment was- “I see, my bad”, but rest assured I’m not coming back. There are plenty other cafes around where they serve with a smile. The iced dark mocha drink is fire, though 👍

Ordered a Frappuccino Cookies & Cream from the lady at the cash register. Only apparently it didn't go over well, because when I got my Frappuccino and I took a sip of it, I tasted a coffee flavor. I don't like coffee, it wasn't even supposed to be in this Frappuccino originally, so I went back. I spoke to a lady at the pick-up side and explained my problem. Then I got an attitude from her and she said that there is no coffee in it... normally I explained that I really tasted a coffee flavor and she said again that this was not possible... then I showed her the label that said that it came with cappuccino and I really wanted a new one, but she still kept denying it. Despite my pain and effort, she took care of my Frappuccino and made a new one. In addition to the bad service (I understand that mistakes can be made, but how do you ultimately go about solving it) I later also found out that I simply paid for the cappuccino that they put in it, and that I paid too much in the end. Worst Starbucks ever! I will never go here again.

Too much ice in the cup, very small coffee inside. and poor service quality The staff didn't put lid on the cup, just handed over to me. and I asked carrier, but she said, 'Ask her!' Why should ask same thing to another staff? and kind of order speaking way!!! I tried the new Starbucks ‘iced brown shaken sugar oat milk espresso’ it was really ridiculous. It looked nothing the photo, tasted like watery coffee mess. Upon returning it immediately I asked for my regular Flat white. It was over 80 degrees and I almost burned my mouth. I was so disappointed that a coffee shop cannot make a decent cup of coffee. I threw all the food and coffee in the bin and agreed never to be back. For Food- We also ordered an egg toastie, chocolate brownie, orange juice and a salmon sandwich for my son. He ate some of the juice and sandwich.

Regular, standardized, coffee place. The same as any other regular coffee place that sells more expensive coffees than others in the same region of amstelveen. I am not a competitor, or an influencer. I am a regular coffee drinker and I do have to say that Starbucks coffee price/quality is a bit disproportionately high in comparison to the other coffee places around the area of amstelveen.

When ordering a flat white, I received caramel syrup without sugar instead of the normal one (clearly noticeable). That can of course happen, but when I told this to the manager, a woman with dark hair, short and slightly tinted, I was rudely informed that it was not the case and that it was my problem. Service could be better, order went well at checkout. But the process is not logical. Orders are mixed up over the counter. I ordered 2 drinks, one hot and one cold. Got one strawberry donut, which was liked by daughter. It had pink color and strawberry stuffed in between. Also we bought iced coffee without cream. It was having a nice taste too. I regularly come here for a 'flat white' and other (overpriced) coffee, but I wanted to order a 'cortado' once - I didn't feel like eating too much milk. Received a mug with warm milk and when I indicated that this was more of a 'latte' I was told that I did not know correctly. A cortado is apparently an espresso with a lot of milk. When I indicated that in Spain I usually got an espresso with a little milk (such as in espresso macchiato or a café noisette) and this clearly did not contain most of the milk, this was poorly received. To keep the peace, I agreed with 'his explanation' and had a flat white. I think that - especially at a Starbucks - staff could be better instructed about coffee and also be more customer-friendly: especially if you charge almost 5 euros for a 'cup of coffee'. For the barista: here is a good overview of the differences between a cortado and a latte. 🙏

Or the person has not had long enough on the coffee quantity or he barely works there and still has a lot to learn, I don't understand how this can happen in Amstelveen, the other order was for a coffee macchiato, which met the requirements. Small tip for the owner of this branch: invest in good staff and don't walk out of the store yourself, like today when everything is not running smoothly. In any case, I give this branch the designation of being the worst branch of Starbucks Netherlands as 'ditch water' instead of coffee. It was very busy for them. Two people serving and a huge queue. What I think is a shame is that Starbucks customers and non-customers don't clean up their mess. If not okay. They can't do anything about that. I like going to Starbucks. Not for the prices, which are sky-high, but for the delicious chai latte.

This is a very popular Starbucks in the Amstelveen shopping mall but they are always so understaffed!! I went in on a Saturday afternoon at 2 and there was 25 people waiting in line and only one cashier and one barista. On top of that they are also taking care of online delivery orders. Management please hire more people it’s a bad experience for customers to wait 30mins for one drink and worse for the employees you are overworking!! Please improve!!

Service could be faster but everyone is always occupied so there's not much they can do to make the line go fast. If you want fast coffee, you can go to Hema right next door. Good quality coffee, long wait - I don't mind.

It took a while for them to get our order ready , despite there was not crowded. Everyone was working on same thing instead of giving each customer to one person. It was like a chaos. Also we went there near the end of the working hours, so after just 5 minutes we finally got our coffee they said we have to leave so we did but when we were leaving they sold coffee to new customer and they just sat on the table we were sitting, no body told them to leave. Felt like discrimination or something. The coffee was good though.

Had a very bad experience at this branch today. I waited in line for 35 minutes before my order was taken, and there were only 4 customers in line ahead of me!! Staff pretend they don't speak Dutch and behave very rudely. My mother complained about the fact that we had to wait 45 minutes for a cup of coffee, she then got a rude beak in return and was laughed at by two male employees. Unfortunately, we have had problems more often at this location, while at other locations it is perfectly arranged. Bad thing, very unfortunate!

I was permanent client of this Starbucks, but after today I will not go there anymore. 20 minutes in line (have no idea why so long), and when it was my turn, iPad didn't read my corona qr-code (while it was already successfully read couple days ago in same Starbucks). The cashier said that in this case I have no rights to seat. In the app was written that I vaccinated 2 times, but he said "I don't mind, code is unable". I went to McDonald's and they checked my code successfully. 20 minutes in waiting line to hear that I'm not able to seat.

My wife and I ordered coffee, waited a long time, and when it arrived, it was ice cold. Because it was cold, it was gone immediately; I didn't enjoy it at all. When there are too many customers, the staff doesn't know how to handle it and gets stressed. Incidentally, the coffee at Stadiumhearts is the most expensive here. But unfortunately, despite the high price, the food is cold. Coffee Company is a disappointment.

I had a beautiful vibes and moments eating my carrot cake and drinking my cappuccino one of my best i had in Amsterdam if not the best . The carrot cake was amazing and very well made the taste is perfect. The lady in the cafe her name is Floor was very polite and very kind and the service was excellent I thank all the team working behind this café and wish them the best
