Authentic Argentinian experience in the heart of Amsterdam! I had an amazing dinner at La Maria. The meat was absolutely delicious — you can really tell it’s authentic Argentinian quality, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The owners are from Argentina, and you can feel that genuine touch in both the food and the atmosphere. The service was excellent as well. Borja took great care of me, was very friendly, and even offered a complimentary appetizer, which was a lovely surprise. Considering it’s right in the center of Amsterdam, the prices are very reasonable for the quality you get. Highly recommended for anyone who loves great steak and warm, authentic hospitality! 🇦🇷🥩🍷

The quality of the food, and especially our waiter Borja, who served us and made us feel right at home, was outstanding. We went here for our bachelor party. Eight people, steaks weren't cooked the way we asked, even after repeated requests, burgers were boring, and a platter for two was double the price, even though it was advertised as being for two people. The tables were dirty, with shoe prints. All in all, a bad experience.

The meat was excellent and super fresh, the atmosphere was very pleasant, and the waiters were very attentive, making the experience 100% recommendable. I will definitely return.

A burger costs €15, but the cheese is already charged an extra €1 and arrives dry. Suddenly, the bill is €22, which must mean that a 0.4-liter drink costs €7, which isn't noted. They also bring extra items with the comment "for free," but they still charge for them.

Absolute worst kind of food we had here. In the name of chicken burger, steak was provided sandwiched between two buns. The steak and buns were burnt too. Tasteless french fries and overpriced at the sametime. On top of this they really had the audacity to over charge and falsely charge for the burger. Avoid eating here at all costs.

One of the worst restauraurants I ever ate in, the kitchen slow and inneficient, the crew lazy and rude. They served raw sardines and bad quality meet. I strongly don’t recommend eating here

We waited a long time for the food and had to ask about it several times. When the food finally arrived, after the first bites we pointed out that it really wasn’t good. We were then approached by an owner and a doorman, both with a hostile attitude. We felt threatened to pay the full price and were then escorted out.

If you like to butcher your own food, then this is the place for you. My T-Bone almost ran away from my plate.

Everyone ordered medium rare on the steak. Some got it cooked through and burnt on the outside while others got it completely raw…. We told them we got it wrong, and they gave us the same food we sent back 5 minutes later. Disappointing experience. Not recommended!

We had the mixed grills and spare ribs at Andreas's recommendation. The meat was incredibly delicious, especially the ribs, which fell apart as quickly as you touched them. The portions and presentation were excellent. Thank you, Andreas, for a delightful dinner.

Omg the service was amazing! The waiter was really friendly and smiley and the food was cooked to perfection! The steaks were mouth watering and the sauces were so tasty, the proces also were so very very reasonable, me and my mate had a full steak dinner with sauces and soda and a drink each and it came to less than €60! That's a bargain! For everything what a wonderful experience x

The food was good but Andres made my experience at La Maria unforgettable. I am currently traveling alone and I feel like I made a new friend. Most hosts/waiters do the bare minimum, Andres went the extra mile! Highly recommend.

You're being completely ripped off, the 15€ burger is just bread, beef and a tiny dollop of sauce, cheese, hot sauce and beef can be ordered separately for 1€ each and the 15€ includes fries and salad, the salad is finely chopped dry lettuce presumably to be put on the burger itself, so stupid.

Friends, the meat at this place is very good and delicious. They serve a piece of meat with a little salad and some fries. It's absolutely delicious. I highly recommend it. It should only be 14 or 13 lira, which is very cheap. And the meat is delicious. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They can help you with anything. They'll tell you anything you need, and you can even get help with some things. I thank the staff and the owner very much. I respect everyone. I recommend it.

The worst steak I've ever eaten. Ordered medium rare, got raw meat, after the waiter took it away and fried it, it was still raw in many places, what we were given for food was just extremely unhealthy.

Sorry, you should definitely avoid it here. All of our food (8 people) was not tasty. The cleanliness of the restaurant and the toilets left a lot to be desired. Extra orders didn't work. The wine was not drinkable.

Would not go here. Food is just not very good, despite the high price point. They are very inattentive and I constantly had to try and get the waiters attention for stuff that should have been done automatically. Not a great place, definitely better options nearby

ordered a burger for €14.90 with no options! for this price you get the bread and the minced steak, with salad and fries on the side. everything else is optional, no cheese, no sauce, no onion. It’s just shameful to think about, we should have left!! the only positive point, the waiter speaks French! I understand better the rating of 3.2/5 we didn't think to look before!! it really is a tourist trap of excellence!!! the beer is €6.90, really on top!!
