Steakhouse Mamma in Wijk 00 Baarle - Nassau

I went for dinner the other day and, to be honest, I’m at a loss for words – I’m so grateful. I highly recommend the entrecôte with mushroom sauce and a side of chips – a real explosion of flavour. Everything is cooked to order, without any rush, and the warm welcome from the chef, Mario, makes for an incredible experience. I’ll be back.

Had a delicious meal for a great price. There was a lot of food, so I happily took the pasta home with me. The shawarma pizza and the steak we ordered were also delicious. Friendly people; if we are ever in the area again, we will definitely come back.

What a wonderful experience at this restaurant on Nieuwstraat. We thoroughly enjoyed the extensive meal. It is highly recommended for anyone who loves good food. The small bowls of various sauces on the table were a particular hit with our party. Everything tasted fresh and was excellently prepared. We will certainly be back here again.

The four of us had dinner at Mamma's. We had made a reservation and were warmly welcomed and served just as warmly and friendly. The salmon, scampi, spareribs, and the Mamma special tasted delicious, as did the homemade sauces; the onion sauce and the sauce with the salmon were particularly delicious. And all dishes were served in generous portions, even too many fries 😀. Definitely worth a return visit.

A very chill, nice family business with really good food. Besides the loveliness of the owners and the atmosphere, the prices are right for some delicious foos and really big sizes, in terms of quantity.

They did deliver, but cash only. Waited an hour and a half for 2 pizzas that were inedible... Hawaiian pizza with 2 cans of pineapple (a real soggy mess), a Quattro Stagioni where half was missing, and the crusts were burnt too. Very disappointing. It was the only company delivering to the location where we were staying, but they really should stop doing that. A real shame!!

One star is too much. We were there with our family. We had to wait 90 minutes for our food. There were no glasses; drinks were only available in cans and bottles. The waiter was gone for a while... during that time, no one served us or cleared the tables. When it was finally served after what felt like forever, we realized the lasagna was missing. They quickly put it in the oven. The lasagna was far too spicy. The pizza wasn't cooked through. The gyros and doner meat were frozen. A lot of food was left over at all the tables, which speaks volumes. Afterwards, we even discovered that we were charged higher prices than listed on the menu. Our clothes now reek of smoke because the place was so smoky and it was impossible to breathe properly. In short, a complete disaster.

The food was very delicious and the portions were very big. The staf is very nice, warm and weloming. Definetly comming again!

Very unreliable delivery times. I called to ask how long it would take, and they said a maximum of 25 minutes. I just called, and they're almost an hour late, and the pizza still needs to be baked. Then you get a whole rant about the restaurant industry and how it works. I have hungry children here. It's terrible, we'll never order again.

We received a very warm welcome. It's a bit dated inside, but the food was simply fantastic. We had pike-perch, veal cordon bleu, and spare ribs. They came with salad and plenty of fries with various sauces. If you want delicious food, you should go to Steakhouse Mamma.

I ordered a 0.00 beer, and I received a bottle of Motta beer that was a year past its sell-by date! I then asked for a glass of water, which I later paid €2.50 for. The general hygiene impression is that it's not clean anywhere, let alone the kitchen... Definitely not recommended!

Einfach fantastisch! Wir kamen zu dritt ohne Reservierung am fortgeschrittenen Abend und wurden überaus freundlich empfangen. Unser Hund bekam eine Schale Wasser, noch bevor wir unsere Plätze eingenommen hatten. Wir saßen im schön angelegten Außenbereich. Das Essen war einfach der Hammer! Wir hatten eine Art gemischte Grillplatte des Hauses und SpareRibs, alles unfassbar lecker und in üppigen Portionen. Der Service war überaus freundlich und gut, wir fühlten uns sehr willkommen. Insgesamt waren wir so begeistert, dass wir am nächsten Tag wieder dort gegessen haben. Wir wurden sofort erkannt und freudig begrüßt, als wären wir Stammgäste. Diesmal hatten wir Pizza, Schnitzel und Fisch - und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht! Es war wieder alles superlecker (der Fisch war einfach genial und wurde sogar vom Chef selbst gebracht). Wir würden uns wünschen, die Entfernung wäre nicht so groß, dann wären wir wirklich Stammgäste!

A lovely, relaxed atmosphere, lovely relaxing music, and always a warm and friendly welcome and service from the owners, Mario and his wife. They're very sweet, hardworking people. We always enjoy coming here. Definitely a restaurant you shouldn't miss if you're in Baarle-Nassau 😊 Highly recommended!

Twee dagen geleden hier gegeten. Heerlijke pizza’s gehad! 2 volwassenen en 2 kids. Vrolijke ontvangst en pizza’s waren echt goed. Lekker half litertje rode wijn erbij. Dik in orde!

A friendly welcome. We were given bread with delicious sauces because we had to wait a bit for our food. But we ate steak, lamb, fish, and pizza with 5 of us, and everything was DELICIOUS. Definitely recommended!

Did a round on the motorbike tonight and stopped at this restaurant to eat something. What a mega delicious meal. Friendly service and good service. I was also allowed to charge my phone with their charger at the table. Pizza was uniquely delicious and packed with ingredients and the Saté from the Grill was also really super delicious and 2 real skewers full of chicken with real BBQ Grill flavor and enough fries and mayonnaise with it. Many can take an example from this. Thank you for this wonderful experience. We enjoyed it 👍👍👍

Mijn collega en ik hadden overgewerkt dus we kwamen pas om 21:30 binnen gerold voor een hapje eten. We werden evengoed zeer gastvrij ontvangen door Mario en hij toverde een fantastische maaltijd op tafel voor ons, hij heeft het niet even afgeraffeld ofzo omdat de tijd drong. We waren pas ruim na sluitingstijd klaar maar dat maakte onze gastheer niets uit. Erg blij mee! Echt heerlijk gegeten en mooie gesprekken gehad met Mario en zijn vrouw, zo werd het een gezellige, onvergetelijke avond!

After pulling a tuft of hair out of the pizza, we were done eating. I drank the drink from the bottle, as the glass still contained the lip prints of the previous customer. They don't know hygiene here, that was clear to us very quickly and cleaning the room and the toilet is visibly a while ago. Indicated that we were dissatisfied and found it disgusting that there was a tuft of hair in our food, The owner? Thought it was okay that we didn't want to eat anymore and wanted to leave. But the fact that another customer went on a rampage against us, that WE are disgusting and attacked us personally, and the staff let this happen, made me post this review as a warning to you;) I don't think it's necessary to make a customer feel 'threatened' right away because we rightly indicate that we are not satisfied... Don't go here! (Ps, afterwards I also see this dirt on the other pizza when zooming in on the previously taken photo)

We have been coming to Mario and his wife for years to enjoy a delicious meal here! Best shawarma and stew house in the area! If you are near Baarle Nassaustraat, you should definitely eat here at least once!

We had dinner on December 30th, and it was a fantastic experience. The food was delicious, well-prepared, and reasonably priced. We ate Mamma special, 3 different pizza and shawarma. All of them were delicious. Mario, the chef, did an excellent job – everything tasted fresh and flavorful. Highly recommend this place for a great meal!

Ordered via Thuisbezorgd, delivery time was 15-40 minutes. Order (2 pizzas) was delivered 1.5 hours later. I called them twice and the delivery person was supposedly already on his way. That was not the case. Not very helpful

Cozy place, delicious food, friendly staff! I came here late in the evening, half an hour after the closure. And the owners were kind enough to make me the most hearty and filling pizza I’ve ever had. Fatma and her husband are very kind and warm people. They told me this place have been open for 30 years! And I cannot recommend it enough for you to visit (especially if you are hungry late in the evening).

Kwam hier voor het avondeten, het toilet was afschuwelijk achtergelaten in een staat, er zat urenlang een poep in, het ruikt vreselijk, de wc-bril was kapot. tafels bleven niet overal opgeruimd. Eten duurde eeuwen en was zeer gemiddeld, de ober was onbeleefd en zeer afwijzend, over het algemeen een vreselijke ervaring!

Mamma mia, this is definitely a stitch house. When I came here to eat there were 20 wasps dining on the chair. Then I knew I had come to the right place! They were noisy, those young people hanging around could get angry. The scaffolds! The sesame seeds were tasty :).

If you want to eat somewhere where it is extra tasty and affordable, and where the customers are particularly well looked after, this is the place to be...!place to be...by Mario and fatma...wonderful people with a golden heart and mind of cooking...I can recommend it to everyone...10 out of 10.

Really nice place to eat. I’ve ordered pizza pollo and it is plenty of chicken. Garlic sauce is really good. The attention of the owners is charming and very welcoming.

The food was great! I have tried the Shaorma Pizza and it is tasty. Please ask for the garlic dipping sauce. The shawarma pizza has been delicious and. With the garlic sauce it is wonderful. 100% recommendable.
