Nice coffeeshop with a great vibe, good music, welcoming staff and a better outlook over the canal than many other coffeeshops. Didn't buy any cannabis here but the fresh mint tea complimented the view over the canal perfectly :)

Racist and Mean Service! As paying customers, were told to leave for being “in the way” even though we were just standing near the entrance.

Nothing to say, I found super courtesy, super welcome and super grass.

They got pictures of Mike Tyson and Quentin Tarantino on the walls. I think that is all I needed to say. Confusion is all but guaranteed.

Every year I visit Amsterdam in August and every year I went only here. But yesterday - a complete disappointment. The young man on the evening shift on August 8 is not positive, that's the case when you need to stop smoking at work, because it drives you crazy

It was a bit full and not too many sitting options. But overall it was a nice experience and the staff was friendly.

It's a disgrace: you spend a lot of money and are rudely told that you have to order drinks. When asked, they said you HAVE to. Especially this woman who works here should learn how to speak politely. Very disappointing

Got 5g fellows haze yesterday. I am very disappointed with this new batch. This is not Strain Hunters quality in my opinion. The taste may be good, but the THC content in this batch is considerably lower than what I am used to. The experience seemed more like a white widow to me. I thought this was a shame.

Just happened to wander in to see what they offer. The bud tender was great. Told him what I wanted and he made some suggestions. Ended up with about a gram of weed and a small portion of hash. Sprinkled the hash on a joint rolled with their papers and it was excellent. Lasted me for 2 days I was in Amsterdam. These guys even gave me a lighter. Great service and very friendly.

I bought a pre-roll joint and seeds for €50 and I'm only allowed to smoke my joint if I get something to drink... As if I hadn't paid enough...!

Visiting from Canada. Good selection of bud & their mint tea is good. Pure Pre roll selection kinda sucks but it gets the job done.

This was an unexpected experience. Staff was not friendly at all, it was very overpriced and the quality was not as good as other local shops. I would deff not recommend anyone going or if you are going good luck

Just so poor! Okay it stays alive on its name and place in Amsterdam, however the service was a disgrace - big guy, young with hat glasses and no interest - the produce was barely acceptable and it just isn’t a good experience! As a one of, a tourist may put up with it, as a resident if feels the burgemeester should intervene more with standards in this field. AVOID.

This place is awful, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. The staff is rude, impolite, and unprofessional—they kick out customers and even show the middle finger. Avoid this place.

If you are looking for something not touristy this is the place for you, you can enjoy a joint in front of the canal, really nice and cozy place. Staff really welcoming and kind. Reasonable weed price and good coffee Will get back for sure.

Was super busy and the advice given was duff. Felt like just pushing anything and what you are looking for was not really considered. A shame as came recommended to us.

The shop inside seats around 15 people I think. Out side 6 people can sit down. It is on the corner of a bridge next to a canal, the area isn't bust like the centre of Amsterdam. Good selection, nice people inside. RECOMMENDED

I bought a pack of long papers, there was no first sealing paper, I counted 21 papers inside, while even their online shop says there should be 32

I was staying above this coffee shop so I had a lot of experience here. Anna (told me his name was said like AnFrank) helped me out here and was very knowledgeable on what to order for a first time visitor. I went back multiple times because the prices were fair but the service was great. I liked the coffee but i would definitely recommend this place for friends or anyone visiting Amsterdam looking for a fun coffee shop experience. The music was also great if you like rap and I noticed they played hip hop as well (depends on the bud tender)

Nice coffeshop, pretty much the same as greenhouses. Good green not ridiculous prices. Will go back as lovely bakers across the alley as well.

Reasonable pricing, n0t like the other stores. It's cool to go inside cause of the back story as well. Such is a famous castle can't be passed by or missed!

Loved this place so much ! Everyone working was super friendly and patient. You can order drinks, smoke and chill which is heaven for tourists like me. Loved the vibes in here, we somehow found ourselves continually coming back to this location. Easy to bike to and also walk around the area. I’m already missing it so much!

Guy behind the counter were extremely rude, I am not even a tourist I live in the Netherlands and the whole behavior was unacceptable we just bought few grams and did not even stay. There were 3 boys working that day 2 of them, I wouldn't even hire them to water my plants.The space inside is not comfortable at all and is very small. Thats a shame for the brand name of Strain Hunters. Weed and hash were pretty good though.

Back in Amsterdam after 7 years and first Coffee Shop selected: without any regrets! Friendly, caring and attentive team 😁 Very cozy place, far from a commercial tourist trap! I highly recommend

The guy behind the counter was great. Pretty rude waitress, you have to buy drinks to sit down even if you bought weed. Reading the other comments it may be a race thing. Selection is medium sized. The pre-rolls are better at The Dolphin.

Pretty small in here, not much room but the selection is good and the shop is pretty cool.

A really nice coffeeshop, which stands out greatly from the others. First of all, all the staff were very friendly and very pleasant. They embody good humor. I recommend this place if you are looking for a coffee where you will not feel crowded on top of each other, where you can appreciate the natural light passing through the windows with a view of the quays. As for the Spaces cakes, in my opinion they are normal muffins, but they were good!
