Very good padron peppers, schnitzel was very good with mushroom sauce. Ribs did not fall of the bone and seemed a bit stale/overheated, plus I asked for bbq sauce but got a different one. Still it was okay. The service was a bit slow, but the place was full, so need to take it into account.

A nice spot for lunch in Valkenburg. However, due to the enthusiastic reviews, we might have expected a little more. We had a fried egg and a barra with Parma ham. The fried egg was just fine, nothing special or anything... the Parma ham sandwich was also tasty, but because of the tomato salad, the bottom of the bun was really soggy. The terrace is very cozy, by the way, and the interior looks nice too.

Had dinner at Sunndays this evening; the staff was very friendly. The food and wine are excellent, certainly compared to other providers. I would definitely recommend this. A real treat.

Do your taste buds a favor and go eat here :) We were greeted warmly upon arrival. Delicious dishes on the menu; we chose the Italian burger and the Tournedos. The burger was cooked just right and tasted delicious! The tournedos was cooked rare to such an extent, you rarely see them like that. And it tasted great too. The waitress who assisted us throughout the evening was very friendly and very attentive. She had an eye for detail and responded very well to the situation. The rest of the staff were also very nice and helpful. But ‘our waitress’ made the evening. Especially after she paid extra attention to the dessert for our son. In short, we had a delicious meal and the service was very sweet and attentive.

Service was quick, attentive, and friendly. The steak and burger were okay, but not particularly flavorful. The restaurant is located in a pedestrian zone and is therefore very popular with tourists, which probably affects the quality of the food somewhat.

We came here regularly, until last year. The food was okay, nothing more than that. If you make us wait more than an hour for a lunch dish and say 'it's coming soon' four times while no one is in the kitchen, you will never see us again. At least four other tables left during that hour. They did ask if we wanted something to drink at our own expense while we waited, though—a bit shameless.

We had a delicious meal with all eight of us! However, there are a lot of stairs, so if you have difficulty walking, only a small part is on the ground floor!

We initially sat outside on the heated terrace, requesting to sit inside if a spot became available, as it was very cold outside. We were given a spot at the bar, which was very pleasant and contributed to our fine experience. We had a delicious meal with matching wines for every dish. We felt very welcome thanks to the service; highly recommended.

Very friendly service. The food was good. The only downsides: charging €5.00 for a small portion of fries and €2.00 for mayonnaise even though you haven't opened a tube. And it's a shame that there is a lot of smoking on the terrace while you are eating.

We had a wonderful evening here and ate excellently. The dishes were flavorful and carefully composed, which was clearly evident in the taste. The restaurant is atmospheric and tastefully decorated, with a warm and friendly ambiance where you immediately feel at ease. The cozy setting, combined with the quality of the food, means that little else is really needed for a successful experience. A minor point of attention is that it can sometimes feel a bit cramped inside.

There were 9 of us ladies at Sunndays; the beef tenderloin pasta was superb, highly recommended! We had 2 different tapas platters and bread distributed among the tables, and these were good too.

Very tasty again, the satay and the carpaccio were as always, the tartar used to taste better, but tastes differ.

We had a wonderful time on a beautiful terrace. Despite a last-minute reservation the day before for seven people and a 40-minute delay from part of the group, everything went smoothly. The food was excellent, with the meat cooked to perfection, and the friendly and professional service was able to adapt despite the language barrier. The only slight drawback, beyond the restaurant's control, was that we had to leave abruptly during dessert due to someone in our group feeling slightly unwell. A truly wonderful experience; we highly recommend it.

We had a delicious meal on a Sunday evening. We were able to sit comfortably on the heated terrace and felt very welcome, thanks in part to the friendly staff. The food was very tasty. All in all, highly recommended for a lovely evening!

Cozy terrace! We enjoyed sitting in the sunshine with a beer/wine and some snacks. We stayed at the hotel across the street! The kids were running back and forth to get a snack every now and then, haha! Very hospitable service! We had a great time!

Just had dinner at this "restaurant" and was extremely disappointed. I took the recommendation: halibut with dill sauce and a piece of crispy bacon. They forgot to mention that you have to order fries separately. My piece of fish was no bigger than a bank card, way overcooked, and bland, unworthy of a chef. I left the restaurant hungry, utterly disappointed.

We sat outside on the terrace under the heater and with a blanket, so with 8 degrees outside, it was perfectly manageable. The food was good quality. The staff is very friendly; they chat with you even when it's very busy. They also ask if you're enjoying the food. This restaurant is definitely recommended if you're in Valkenburg.

On the last Friday of January, we had a wonderful lunch on the sunny terrace. The service was good and friendly; they even offered water for the dog. The lunch was more than enough, and the tuna sandwich was more than satisfying. A wonderful place for a relaxing lunch.

This is a wonderful place, we came there, first place for a beer, lovely nachos and service. We came back for drinks at night… again lovely atmosphere service … is a bit pricey for dinner but I imagine will be very good!

On a busy Tuesday during the Christmas holidays, I spontaneously popped in for a light bite and a drink. There was still a table for four available inside. Outside, you can also sit comfortably in the winter thanks to the patio heater. A latte macchiato was perfectly served with a glass of water and whipped cream, along with a little liqueur. Appetizers weren't too expensive! At least you don't pay €1.50 per bitterbal here. The only downside was that the ladies' restroom was quite dirty. The fountain was clogged and full of dirty water. I reported it, so I'm sure it'll be fixed now... All in all, a great place to relax, right in the city center!

At the same time, waitresses were walking past our table every three minutes – I honestly wonder: Why didn't they even glance at the guests? We weren't asked if everything was alright (which I consider a given), nor if we wanted another glass of wine. We watched this blatant disregard for our customers for about 20 minutes and finally got up to proactively pay the bill. When I then offered some constructive criticism, they preferred to argue that they were "busy" (odd, though, that other tables were being attended to regularly). This is another no-go for me: If a guest says fairly that something didn't feel good, the service has exactly one chance to deal with it professionally. Unfortunately that didn't happen here. Excellent restaurant with a warm welcome and impeccable service. The cuisine is varied, with a wide selection of dishes to suit all tastes. The setting is very pleasant, located on a pedestrian street, with a heated outdoor terrace. An authentic find, far from tourist traps.

The mojito was the first one I'd had near Valkenburg and the surrounding area that I really enjoyed. The Sunny Day sangria was delicious; the longer the fruit sat in the glass, the better it tasted. The meat was excellent. My son absolutely loved the spaghetti. A double 10! I thoroughly enjoyed this place and especially the friendliness of the staff! I'd love to come back soon.

The food was delicious. But the staff was incredibly unsociable. They barely looked at us, and when we asked for a glass of tap water alongside the food and drinks we'd already ordered, they eyed us suspiciously. Then they returned (after 10 minutes) with a small amount of water. The wait times were ridiculous. We ended up waiting an hour for our two bowls of soup. To order and pay, we had to go find the waiters ourselves because they didn't come automatically. They never came to us on their own initiative. I would give the staff -1 star if I could.

We had a delicious meal yesterday. Beautiful location. Good, professional, and friendly staff. Perhaps a small tip (and not just here) would be to make the terrace smoke-free as well. We were seated next to three heavily smoking women at another table. At another table was a gentleman with an e-cigarette that had a very unpleasant odor. It spoiled the aroma and taste of the food.

Great tent and team, delicious food

We had to wait a long time for our lunch. We were out of croquettes. Strange, considering lunch had only just started (it was 12 noon) and the terrace wasn't full. The terrace is nice, but the space between tables is small, so the waiters keep bumping into you.

Delicious nachos and burgers! Super friendly waiter. Nice interior. Highly recommended.
