Suri-Java in Wijk 04 Almere Poort

I am very happy with Suri-Java! The food was delicious and I will definitely order here again ✌🏻

Ordered for the second time, personal approach. Top. Regards from Hariette

To be honest, Suri-Java remains our number 1 in Almere. We drive from Nobelhorst to Almere Poort every time, even though other warungs can be found close to us in Almere Buiten. Still, we think Suri-Java is the tastiest. The Nasi roasted chicken and telo bakkeljouw are our favorites!

For food and service, this is a top-notch place for catering. Just a quick WhatsApp message and it's arranged in no time. Thanks guys😋😋 until the next order

Just well arranged, perfectly on time, and most importantly, the braised chicken was well prepared. Tender and well-seasoned, from H. Stoter

The food had no taste. The meat was bone dry. The egg was stale. Suri Java probably has a new owner. I don't see the older man and the older women anymore. New faces in the kitchen and also at the counter. That is why it wasn't as busy as it used to be.

Always been a huge fan of Suri-Java....but unfortunately shrinkflation at Suri-Java :-( ... Nowadays you get smaller containers of food than you used to. Too small a portion for a lot of money.

Suri-Java is a top spot for delicious Surinamese Javanese food. We have been getting various dishes there for years. Also for parties and birthdays. Tasty, generous portions, and, importantly, still affordable. Friendly staff. However, it is not really a place where you can sit down to eat a meal. So it is really for takeout.

I normally always pick up for 2 people, but the catering for 120 people was also perfect! Good communication and proactive thinking!

Placed an order on Monday for Wednesday. So grateful that it was possible and it was delicious! All my guests thoroughly enjoyed it. Thanks Suri-Java

Often busy, went early today, 16:20, and there were already 5 people ahead of me. Unfortunately, no bakka bana left already. Food quality is always good, never disappointed.

You don't go there for a romantic dinner, but for the food. You have to order food where the lines are, everyone knows that. And here the lines are. The food is genuinely delicious. We have them do our catering for the family every year. Let's go...

Ordered delicious food for the residents of Polderburen; the residents enjoyed it. Had very good service from Mark. Worth repeating.

Helped with my order for 10 people at the last minute, the food was delicious! And the service was top-notch!!

Picked up catering for my daughter's birthday. Everything was ready and warm at the agreed time. The staff was extremely friendly and my guests enjoyed the food. Definitely worth repeating!

I ordered catering for my birthday. When I received cancellations on the morning itself, I was able to cancel part of the order without any problems. That's service! The food itself was delicious. Nasi, roasted chicken, yardlong beans, and the vegetarian tofu-tempeh. All highly recommended.

We thoroughly enjoyed the food again. We have been ordering from this gentleman for years and it is always super! Last week we ordered food for a surprise birthday on a boat. This time we opted for takeaway containers and were very pleased with it, as was the coordination beforehand. Suri-Java is highly recommended!

Thank you Suri-Java! We had catering by you last Thursday. The bami, roasted chicken, long beans, pitjil, and tofu-tempeh were all delicious and prepared with care. We received many compliments. Thank you for the tasty food, friendliness, and good care!

We ordered food on a Sunday. That it took 45 minutes can happen. But once the food was on the table, the disappointment was huge. The chips with the saotosoep tasted stale. The yellow chili pepper was limp and watery, completely lacking in heat or flavor. The pom was a huge letdown; in terms of taste, smell, and texture, it didn't resemble pom at all. The bami with chicken, on the other hand, was far too salty and the chicken was very dry. It is rare that we are so disappointed with a takeaway meal. It is a real shame, because we had expected more. Unfortunately, we won't be going back a second time.

Thank you Mark and team for making my son's 40th birthday a success. All 3 dishes, Nasi, Tjauwmin, and Moksi-alesie, were delicious. In addition to providing an abundance of food, you also took care of everything perfectly. Communication A+ Food A+ Taste A+ Price and quality A+

Delicious food and super friendly, helpful staff.

Everything was well organized at Suri-Java. Communication with them was good, the food was delicious, and the service was top-notch. They were very helpful in finding a time for us to pick up the food.

We have ordered a few times now for parties, but also for home, and the food is always on point! The service is super good. Always pleasant contact via WhatsApp. Last time for our party, we forgot the sauce for the chicken and were called immediately. Super happy with Suri-Java!

The saoto has gone downhill badly. The last time and again today. Just water with a bit of color. At first I thought it might go wrong once. But today again. I tried to season it a bit in the pan at home, but even that didn't really work. Such a shame. It used to be my favorite place for saoto.

Rarely late, so just order and go. Perfect

The food was incredibly good (truly exceeded my expectations) and the service was fantastic. I had ordered food for our daughters' birthdays and literally everyone asked where I got it from. They also looked for a solution for me regarding the pick-up time; thanks again Suri-Java.

Suri-Java is situated somewhat out of the way between Literatuurwijk and Almere Poort, but you have been able to get delicious takeaway dishes here for over ten years. There isn't a huge selection, but the portions are enormous and the dishes are deliciously spiced. This time I savored the Telo Bakkeljauw. Excellent!

I haven't been there in a long time and I don't know if the place has been taken over by others, but the Roti wasn't the Roti we were used to from Suri Java. The sauce was way too thin with barely any flavor, and the chicken (fillet) wasn't tasty.

Always had super delicious food, still one of the better Surinamese/Javanese eateries

The food is affordable and delicious! The staff is friendly and very helpful.

On the recommendation of my nieces, I ordered catering for my 50th birthday. The food was ready on time. Unfortunately, they don't deliver, so you have to pick it up yourself. But the food was delicious, and you got more than enough to take home, for an affordable price. The nice lady who helped us gave us a sensible tip regarding transporting the food. I highly recommend Suri-Java.

We have ordered catering several times now, and every time it was excellently taken care of. Our guests were full of praise for the food. Everything was ready neatly and on time, the staff is always friendly, and online orders are responded to immediately. In short, a very reliable and professional service that we will certainly continue to use.

Surijava Congratulations! You're the best! Thank you all! Dear Suri-Java, Thank you for always being there for us! Friendly! Good, fast service! And delicious food! Keep up the good work! Marion and family

Super friendly staff and delicious food. Highly recommended!

The food is always super delicious! 🥰 The contact via WhatsApp/phone is fast, friendly, and professional. And as a surprise, a message the next day asking if everything was to my liking, I think that's really great! 🫶🏼 Fantastic, ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from me!

The food did not meet the quality standards befitting a good Javanese restaurant at all. The nasi, bami, and berkat had little to no flavor. The chicken was not tasty at all; I could not taste any Javanese spices in the chicken. The pitjel was without peanut sauce. I spent nearly 130 euros, so I am severely disappointed.

Has the warung been taken over perhaps? Because the quality of the food was not the same as what I had before. It was very bad. Not satisfied.

Good food. Large portions for a reasonable price. Takeout only.

I was wondering if I should cook for my birthday or arrange catering, since I can cook like the best 😁... I thought to myself, I'd rather take it easy since quite a few people would be coming over. I had the catering arranged by Suri-Java and I don't regret it one bit! The food was delicious, affordable, and plentiful! I recommend Suri-Java to everyone 😊👍👍

It was a super busy Sunday. But the staff remained friendly and remembered who had ordered what. The food was delicious as usual, but this time there was a lot of liquid in it. Not to the detriment of the flavor, but I had to fish the long beans out of the liquid. Despite the hustle and bustle, there was a pleasant atmosphere in the shop!

We had the children's birthday catered yesterday, and it was delicious! There was more than enough food. Thanks again for the excellent and fast service!

Great Surinam food although it can be a bit busy.

We ordered catering for a birthday party for 70 people. Everything was ready at the agreed-upon time. We were even able to pick up the food a little earlier than normal, at our request. Communication via WhatsApp was also pleasant, and we always received a quick response. All the guests were very positive about the food. Highly recommended!

Just ordered Telo here. Unfortunately, it was disappointing. I've always had good Telo at Warung Irshjaad. Unfortunately, not the case here.

Suri-Java is highly recommended! Great service. I had the wrong quantity for the catering, but they made up for it by delivering it to my home. Excellent!! The food was delicious!! All my guests were satisfied. We had a wonderful time! Thanks Suri-Java!

When we got home the second time, we didn't get the two extra roti sheets we'd ordered. So we drove back to pick them up. Finally able to start eating, we opened the roti container and found two long gray hairs in it. Well, I've already eaten and drunk. Ugh, yuck, I don't need anything else.

You guys need to change that name. And fast!! I've never had nasi goreng like this from a Javanese person. This is literally boiled rice with soy sauce. Nothing in it, greens or vegetables. The chicken is greasy. LOS MONEY!!!!

The tastiest roti in Almere Also delicious: bakabana

Delicious food and friendly people. Tip: call in your order in advance because it's usually busy!

Perfect...friendly staff, really helpful

We’ve picked up food from here several times already. It’s takeaway only, but the food is consistently delicious and well-prepared. The menu isn’t very big, but what they offer is solid and satisfying. The staff is friendly and service is efficient. The location is a bit out of the way. It feels like it’s in an industrial area, so it’s definitely more convenient if you’re coming by car.

Delicious food for a great price. Some of the best you can get in Flevoland, and always on time when you call for pickup. The portions are generous; we often eat from it multiple times. Note that it's set up as a takeout location, so I wouldn't go there for dining out.

Ordered catering for birthday, was on time, fresh and most importantly; it was DELICIOUS. people took several helpings and enjoyed the food

I went last Saturday to pick up for a party. The people who worked there were sweet and gave a good service! They also sent a message afterwards to see if everything was to your liking which I thought was very sweet. It was delicious and really recommended!

Catering ordered. Super arranged and delicious taste

Recently got bami and nasi here again after a long time. Generous portions and after all these years it is still just as tasty. Especially the bami is recommended. Too bad they don't sell spring rolls and satay.

At a previous party I was able to taste the delicious food of Suri-Java. When I organized a party for 40+ people, I knew right away that I wanted to order the food here. Received many compliments about the food from our family and friends. Definitely recommended!!

Last Saturday we ordered catering for our party. It was delicious and really more than enough. We enjoyed it the next day and there was still some left. Definitely worth repeating.

Always a regular customer in the past, recently ordered again. Unfortunately the food has really deteriorated. Nasi was very sticky and tjauwmin very bland. Bakkeljauw very sweet. Baka bana was tasty but the peanut sauce was water with a few peanuts...a real shame. Seems like there's a new chef... hopefully they'll get it back soon.

Recently got food again, very mediocre, was the last time. Mediocre menu and mediocre quality, but decently priced. tjauwmin is ok. Moksalesie with chicken seemed like a bite out, straight into the waste bin

We often order catering from Suri Java. Last Saturday again and service was great again. Food was ready on time and the portions were large. Food tasted great as usual! All this for a competitive price!

Food is always delicious. We regularly pick up food from here and we also use catering. Everything as agreed and you get value for your money! Our favorites for takeaway are saoto, pitjil, bami. For catering the tjaumin and noodles.

We often get tasty “Javanese” meals (Catering) at Suri-Java. We are extremely satisfied with the taste and service. A switi is definitely recommended!

Food is fine, otherwise very boring

Little rotie in the container half full but more expensive no baka bana.

Food is delicious, great service, get plenty of food at catering. Keep ordering here!

Delicious food just like in Suriname

Top Catering great service and lovely people. Thank you

The food is very tasty! Always good service too.

Food was ready on time, as promised. Neatly packed and large portions were taken out, as it should be. We all enjoyed it! Next order is ready!

Incredibly good food. Almost every party or gathering now has our circle suri java. It is super tasty and the portions are super big. Super affordable especially for the large numbers.

The roti chicken tasted almost sweet. Roti is not supposed to taste like this. The chicken was hard and in both portions there was no egg, but I did pay for it. The soto soup was decent. I let others taste it and they also indicated that the roti was really not tasty, sorry.

You will find delicious Surinamese food here. Time and love is put into the food and the quality does not diminish if you order food for dozens of people here.

It used to be very tasty there, but unfortunately the quality has deteriorated considerably.

For my daughter's birthday we outsourced the catering to Suri-Java for 100 people. The food was delicious and everyone enjoyed it! Definitely recommended - definitely next time!

We had a party last weekend, where we had approximately 60 people. Suri-Java has been engaged for catering. O.a. Ordered noodles, nasi, tjauw min, roasted and stewed chicken. Everything ready at agreed time. Unfortunately, I dropped a bowl of Nasi when loading it into the car. 😲Received a new bowl of Nasi at no cost. What a great service! 👍😃 We had many compliments from our guests about the food! Brought flowers afterwards to thank you for the service! Top quality at a competitive price.

First catering ordered for a birthday party. Food was delicious. I definitely recommend it.

Takeaway only, but delicious Surinamese food for a reasonable price.

Very bad bad again bad, nasi no taste, sauto all bean sprouts and no chicken to be found. Plus point bakabana super fresh Oh yes, extra pepper, tiny container, 0.25 cents. Maryams Almere gate much better.

Suri Java has had the most delicious baka banas for at least 20 years. They are the best. That saoto is also delicious 🥰😍. Nowhere else can I eat such delicious baka banas😁

Worst roti chicken ever! To give Almere a chance and not always have to get our roti in Amsterdam, we decided to go to Suri-Java. Well, we knew that... Cheap, undercooked chicken in a very wet mess, little long beans and an egg that we immediately threw in the trash. Pfff, how can you cook with so little respect!

At the last minute due to a catering cancellation, they arranged all the food for my son's 8th birthday!! Friendly contact and help with everything where they can... We enjoyed the food, worth repeating!!

Had food provided by Suri Java for my daughter's Sweet 16. Everything was warm so everyone could immediately enjoy the delicious food. Friendly service and tasty food! Thanks again 😀

Delicious food and all for a reasonable price. For us, the noodles, nasi and saoto soup are absolute musts! I wouldn't drive by during rush hour because then you can wait quite a long time. By the way, there is plenty of parking space along the road.

Maximum number of stars for this takeaway restaurant. Easy to reach and plenty of parking. You call in advance and the food is ready after 20 minutes! The telo and bakabana are super tasty, my son really enjoyed it!

What a business is open until seven on Google you get there yes kitchen is closed at half past seven then just put on Google that you are closed at half past six drove there for nothing

Got roti here but unfortunately it wasn't what I expected, the chicken was dry and it was quite tasteless.

Very tasty food for a good price. Staff are very friendly.

Delicious nasi with chicken satay skewers and the employees are friendly.

The satay is really to die for 🤩🤤🤤

On the advice of my sister, we ordered catering for about 20 people here last weekend! Contact went smoothly via WhatsApp, quick response, helpful thinking and most importantly the food was really delicious and large portions! Highly recommended, we will definitely order here again 😋😋😋

We ordered food here for our family day. Everything went smoothly and our guests had a delicious meal. Really authentic Javanese Surinamese food. Highly recommended 😊.

Ordered delicious catering containers! Fortunately it was possible at the last minute. Thank you for the service and flexibility

I often order here when I have a birthday party and don't feel like cooking. I think the food is good. The staff is customer friendly.

Delicious food, I ordered a bowl of chicken fillet and my guests liked it very much

5 stars for this great store! Our favorite!

Abnormally long waiting time. Never again.

Very good and fast service. Super tasty food and halal. Worth repeating

Catering arranged by Suri Java. Everyone satisfied and good portions, certainly next time!
