Bad service. Staff very unfriendly. There is an unpleasant atmosphere. This will ensure that I NEVER come here again!

Visited today. Rude middle-aged Chinese gentleman at the counter. He has difficulty greeting (does not greet back), snaps at customers, does not think along with customers and is impatient. His attitude creates a tense atmosphere. You also notice the ladies who prepare the food (sandwiches). I don't go there anymore.

Delicious dishes, ready quickly for takeaway. Also have delicious Surinamese sandwiches, perfect to take with you on the train. The nasi had a bit of oil used.

Went here with my son on the last day of the year 2024. The shrimp in butter sauce were great, and the boneless duck was very tender and deliciously fresh! They have not disappointed and in fact, we have been back again in New Year's Eve, but this time for takeout. Quality is still good!

poor service and arrogant people, not customer friendly at all

I had a very disappointing experience with an employee of this restaurant. When I called to pick up food, I was spoken to very curtly. The employee was disinterested and seemed to have little patience for my questions. When I asked about the options available, I barely got a response, and the communication felt downright rude. Eventually the young employee told me that I had to order from the store, which I like to do, but indicated to the employee that I had little time and then hung up. It's a shame, because the food is often good, but such an unfriendly attitude makes the experience not pleasant. I hope that the restaurant pays attention to customer service so that I can enjoy their food again.

Moksi meti was old and tasteless and the worst moksi I ever had in my life went straight into the trash at home! Should be ashamed to call themselves a restaurant!!!

It used to be better. Little taste and the Surinamese rice tastes old.

Great service! Wonderful food and the price is reasonable

Ordered food for 2 people, only received it after 45 minutes. When I got home I discovered that there were several hairs in the food. Moreover, the food was already cold even though I was home within a few minutes. So it had clearly been ready for some time, but I still didn't get it right away. Probably because the women behind the counter were too busy chatting. I drive back to show the hair, they tell me that I had to show it right away because they think I put the hair in there myself. After a long day of work, this is the evening meal and service.

Plenty of choice here for meat eaters! It is very nice that the restaurant has more main course options for vegetarians; it would be nice if there were more vegetarian entrees. At the moment they only have the curry triangles. Those are very tasty. The tofu with black bean sauce was fine. My family really likes the saoto and the rolls.

Food doesn't taste good! You pay extra for pepper if you want a cup. The food itself is also too pricey. No, I'd rather go somewhere else!

Yesterday there was a FLY in my portion. I won't come here anymore!

I have often bought the white nasie goreng with chicken fillet and always enjoyed it. Found a hair and eggshells in the nasion today. Bah! It looks like it was baked in a very rushed and cursory manner. Extremely disappointed. No more new Beijing for us :(

I've been coming there for 27 years almost all my life and the food never disappoints. I always take a stewed pork with white rice and an extra bowl of pepper. And when I stand at the cash register and look at the display case, I always grab a few tasty sandwiches. The chicken curry is really unique.

I have been coming to New Beijing since I was a little child, new faces and some older ones, but still as wonderful as they were back then, unchangingly wonderful even over a period of 35 years, I actually have no idea how long they have been around, but I will definitely ask the next time.

Nasi en de broodjes zijn heerlijk!

I recently got take out at Nieuw Peking, a Chinese-Surinamese restaurant, and I must say, it was quite a flavorful experience. I opted for the nasi with crispy fried pork, and the aroma alone had my mouth watering on my way home. While the food presentation wasn't the most impressive, the taste of the pork more than made up for it. The nasi was also incredibly delicious. What surprised me the most was the generous portion size I got for such an affordable price. The flavors were on point, and I can't wait to return and explore more of their menu. Nieuw Peking has easily secured a spot in my top 5 list for Chinese-Surinamese dining.

Eten heerlijk, parkeer is erg slecht, je kunt er ook moeilijk komen met de auto, 1 richting weg. Die meneer die altijd achter de kassa staat heeft altijd wel een woordenwisseling met iemand als ik daar ben. Ligt meer aan de toon waarop hij daar staat, vlgs mij is ie het zat, maar moet er staan ofzo. Eten lekker, derest slecht

Heerlijk eten maar slecht parkeren in de buurt

Heerlijk vers eten, snelle bediening. Niet zo heel groot maar netjes en vriendelijk personeel. Prijs valt ook mee. Aanrader!

Altijd weer een constante goede kwaliteit, van te voren telefonisch bestellen om af te halen is een aanrader. Sinds 2020 kan men er gewoon met pincontact betalen. Aanrader, babi pangang (spek), tjauw min en hun zelfgemaakte acar, naast zure uien met madame jeanet pepers (scherp) en gratis, ik adviseer u wanneer u niet van pittig houd, alleen de uitjes te eten. Veel kwaliteit voor een klein bedrag, u kunt ter plaatse eten en afhalen (even van te voren bellen)

Ik heb vaker bij Nieuw Peking besteld voor de bedrijfsevents die ik heb georganiseerd. Buiten het feit om dat het eten echt lekker is wordt er goed meegedacht over de mogelijkheden. Bedankt voor het meedenken en het aanbieden van verschillende opties!

Bediening was lichtelijk ongeïnteresseerd! Jammer, het eten was uitstekend!

Wij komen er al minstens 20 jaar en het eten is altijd goed..sfeervol..en altijd wel een plekje ook al heb je niet gereserveerd..afhaal ook prima..en niet onbelangrijk als hindoestaan zijnde..de peper erbij is perfect!😋😋

Very good restaurant and perfect for takeout. In my opinion, the best Surinamese-Chinese restaurant in The Hague and maybe even in the region. The price-quality ratio is great. You get generous portions, and above all, it's very tasty. The staff is friendly, and it's nice to see how they have maintained the same quality over the years. We usually get our food here for takeout, and if you call ahead to place your order, it's often ready to pick up just fifteen minutes later. We have never experienced having to wait longer than the agreed upon pickup time.

Eten was goed en lekker toen ik daar had gegeten.

Ik kom hier nu al ruim 15 jaar. Eerst met mn moeder, toen mn zusje, mn dochter en mn man. Inmiddels is het onze vaste eet gelegenheid. Lekker relaxed, je word niet de deur uitgekeken. Al zijn er reserveringen dan word er nog gekeken of er ergens een tafel beschikbaar is. Het is allemaal wat duurder geworden maar doet niks af aan het eten. Heerlijk! En respect voor deze hard werkende mensen. Keep up the good work en tot snel weer...

Eten is kortom lekker, niet al het personeel kan nederlands of engels wat het communiceren soms iets lastiger maakt. Broodjes kunnen helaas niet aan de telefoon vooraf besteld worden. Extra zuur is trouwens maar 1 plakje komkommer extra, je moet er expliciet bijzeggen dat je 2 a 3 komkommers boven de 2 die je er al krijgt bovenop wilt.

Ik kom hier al sinds mijn jeugd, nog steeds hetzelfde haha.. nu kom ik er minder vaak want woon niet meer in de buurt. Maar de tjauwmin kip en de tjap tsjoi beef 🤩 memories.

Usually we are picking this up for take out and we have enjoyed it everytime. They're always quick, and the food is reasonably priced.

Mooie Restaurant. New Peking ligt tegenover Den haag Hollandsspoor. En om die reden prima te bereiken met het openbaarvervoer. Met de auto kan wat problematischer zijn vanwege de drukte en geringe parkeergelegenheid. Er is voldoende ruimte en het is netjes ingericht met hier een daar wat planten en ornamenten. Ook zijn de ramen gedeeltelijk afgeplakt zodat je tot een zekere ongestoord kunt eten. Het personeel is vriendelijk en denkt met je mee. Als je even tijd nodig hebt om het menu te bestuderen of als je nog niet weet wat je wilt drinken gaan ze daar netjes mee om. Het eten werd vers geserveerd. De nasi moksi werd met aandacht geserveerd. Inclusief buffetwarmers aan tafel, om het eten constant op temperatuur te houden. De portie nasi per persoon was vrij groot. Het vlees werd in een apparte schaal geserveerd met daarin; wat kousenband, gefrituurde kip, gebakken spek, fa chong en cha-sieuw. De kousenband was oké, kip was lekker krokant en mals van binnen. Gebakken spek lekker knapperig, De fa chong was wat karig heel klein en best weinig in verhouding tot de rest. De cha sieuw was vrij dun gesneden. Kwaliteit structuur deed het ons meer denken aan Döner. Al met al is de prijs kwaliteit verhouding iets aan de hoge kant. Hoewel het vers is gemaakt is niet alles van het zelfde niveau.

Goed eten voor een betaalbare prijs.

De broodjes waren okey een beetje droog, Niet zo gevuld en zuinig op de komkommers in zuur.

Freundliche bedienung schnelles und leckeres essen zu moderaten preisen. Sehr reichlich.

Broodjes zijn ok belegd. Heel karig/zuinig belegd. Mag best wat meer vlees/vis op voor €3 per stuk!

Alle keren dat ik daar gegeten heb was het lekker! Vooral de pekingeend smaakt goed. In het restaurant hangt een fijne sfeer mede door de vriendelijke eigenaar en het personeel.
