Sushi break in Hoofddorp

My regular sushi place, and we always enjoy the delicious, fresh sushi. The delivery is excellent, the sushi is fresh and flavorful, with generous portions and a great variety. I'm very happy with you!

Ordered through uber eats which told me the estimated time of the order is 20-40 minutes. It was 45 minutes later. That is not the fault of the restaurant though but uber eats. Still though, after waiting for such a long time you would hope that the order would be good. However regarding the beef rice bowl the rice was clogged together and the beef tasted not fresh. The sauce was too salty. Overall, a dish down the drain.

Ordered through Thuiszorgd, and the food arrived within 40 minutes. The food was delicious and tasted fresh. It came with good soy sauce and wasabi. Great place.

I really loved the Poke Bowl Zalm, very tasty and healthy and fresh, but may be the quantity could a bit more.

Once again, we had a wonderful meal...the 3 salmon were still nice and warm...the flavor was perfect...the sauce was delicious...the California salad was well filled...delicious with the salmon pieces, btw...the sushi was divine...crazy salmon...definitely worth trying...the flambéed version is also very tasty...in short...it was great again.

We ordered our lunch at Sushi Break for 17 persons. The food was very delicious and freshly made. The order was ready for pick up in time (12h15) and we even got a little extra from the restaurant. We will come back for sure

On May 3, 2025, I placed an order through Uber Eats from Sushi Break for €84.34 (Order: H. Salmon Plus Box, Sashimi, and more). I never received the food. I waited over 4 hours, and the restaurant never answered my calls. Yet, Uber Eats marked the order as “completed” and took the full payment. Despite repeated messages to support, I was redirected from agent to agent, received automated messages, and ultimately told: “We cannot refund — contact the restaurant yourself.” I paid Uber Eats, not the restaurant. Uber is legally responsible for this transaction and failed to provide the service I paid for. Meanwhile, my children were left hungry and we had no alternative options due to the time and circumstances. This was emotionally and financially damaging. This is unacceptable. This is theft. I demand: • Full refund of €84.34 • Formal apology • Compensation for inconvenience If no action is taken within 24 hours, I will: • File an official complaint with UOKiK (Polish Consumer Protection Office) • Launch a chargeback procedure through my bank • Publish this experience on: • Trustpilot • Google Reviews • Reddit (r/UberEats, r/legaladvice) • X/Twitter: @UberEats, @Uber_Support • LinkedIn, tagging Uber management • International press if needed I am committed to making this public and warning other customers. Very disappointing. Ordered on early Friday evening and food arrived fast but was obviously very rushed. Soggy sushi rice hadn’t set properly. And grilled beef turned up almost still alive. Certainly the only time I order from here.

Absolutely terrible. I ordered from here last night, and it took ages to be delivered, even though I placed the order very early in the day. I had to call, and the man we spoke with was incredibly unprofessional. Yes, it's busy, so it's okay if it's late, but that's the impression he gave me. Not customer-friendly at all. There are much better sushi restaurants, but I would avoid this one. The sushi was also very mediocre! Robb

The sushi from Sushi Break not only tastes good, but it also looks good. At our competitors, the sushi is often mixed up. The delivery person arrived right on time. We will definitely order here again.

We placed our order well in advance via Uber eats. Unfortunately, when the sushi was due to be delivered, we received an email that our order had been canceled... We contacted ourselves to hear that the rice had run out... It's a shame about the poor service because the sushi is delicious!

Bought a tuna box via uber eat and fish was spoiled, first it had a hair on fish and then when I started to eat I felt spoiled taste and smell on nigiri, had to vomit just in case. FISH POISINING CAN BE LETHAL!!! Waiting for the response from uber customer support for refund

Had very reasonably priced sushi from here when staying nearby. Sushi was quite good, we did enjoy the salmon and tuna Nigiri and tempura rolls especially. Recommended.

Nice and fresh and did I mention tasty pff really top quality. Yes, it's Mother's Day and they were later but worth the wait. The boss brought it himself after calling to ask when it would arrive, because I saw that the website was down due to crowds and no more orders were being accepted. Very tasty food!!

Ordered food for delivery. Supposed to be here at 19:05 was delivered at 18:45. By that time the poke - specially the salmon was smelling. Didn’t eat it. Got scared of the sushi, ate only the california roll. Sushi tasted like stores bought. Horrendous food horrendous delivery. Never again

Very tasty sushi. We especially found the rice very well seasoned. We had it delivered to the hotel and it worked without any problems. If we are in Amsterdam again, we would order here again.

Food was fine, the rice was a bit over-cooked in my opinion. The delivery person was there after 17 minutes, but with the 1 get 1 free shrimp promotion I only received 1 portion instead of 2. Shame. Otherwise fine

Rekenen een (in verhouding) fors bedrag voor de verpakking. Waar het bij anderen slechts 1 cent is, besluit deze ondernemer gewoon extra verdiensten mee te pakken De verpakking is immers hetzelfde als voor de maatregel en afgedragen hoeftdit ook niet te worden Het eten is goed en de bezorging stipt. Dus toch nog net aan 4 sterren

Staat dat het 30 tot 55 minuten duurt. Heb vaker besteld hier en normaal is het prima sushi en komen ze optijd. Pas na een uur en 20 minuten kwam de bezorger aan. De sushi was verder oke. Deze review was geschreven in Januari en is helaas nogsteeds waar. Ik heb zojuist namelijk weer hier besteld en het duurt weer even lang als de vorige keer. Over de sushi valt nog niet te spreken want die heb ik dus nog niet...

Ben niet zo van het beoordelen maar dit is de beste sushi van Hoofddorp!

Heerlijke sushi’s ! De beste uit de regio. Kip stukken zijn ook geweldig. Nergens anders zo geproefd !

Bestelde hier vaker alleen nu niet meer. Ze werken met tonijn uit blik en kwam een keer langs om stokjes te halen en daar vroegen ze €0,50 per stuk voor. Beetje krentetig.

Ik vind het altijd erg lekker sushi. Er wordt verse vis gebruikt en de rollen zijn rijkelijk gevuld! Altijd een feestje om wat te bestellen hier.

Nadat de bestelling via het internet was gedaan werden wij netjes opgebeld met betrekking tot een aantal keuzes die niet beschikbaar waren, nadat wij telefonisch de wijzingen hadden doorgegeven is het eten netjes geleverd en was een extra betaling niet van toepassing terwijl het te betalen bedrag na de wijziging hoger uitkwam. Een nette klantenservice en met goed voedsel. Naar mijn mening een hele goede Sushi tent.

Ontzettende lekkere en goed gevulde pokebowl met tonijn en zalm gegeten. Echt heerlijk! Heb er even gezeten, maar ga zeker gebruik maken van bestellen voor thuis. Aardige mensen en toen ik vroeg om een vork ipv stokjes, kreeg ik dat gelijk. Top plek en bijzonder smakelijk en vers

Bestel zeer regelmatig hier mijn sushi als ik het thuis bezorgd wil hebben. Ideaal vanuit Hoofddorp naar Aalsmeer. Snelle levering, vriendelijke bezorgers én lekker verse sushi

De allerbeste sushi kun je hier, hier en hier alleen eten! Kunnen veel sushi zaken nog van leren. Alles is vers, ruikt en smaakt fris. Vriendelijke personeel, keertje afhalen is ook leuk om te doen. Als ik 10 sterren kon geven dan deed ik dat. Nieuwe toekomstige klanten die dit review lezen, gewoon hier bestellen, doen!

Nu een aantal keer sushi besteld, altijd snelle levering en gewoon heerlijk. De bezorgers ook altijd vriendelijk. O en nette prijzen

Honestly, incredible sushi. Incredible menu variety. Incredible ebi spring roll, flaming cheese ebi nigiri wow wow. Teppen yaki salmon and shrimp wow. Always on time. Never had any issues. Always consistent and fresh and delicious. Thank you so much for making the money I pay worse theservice and standards I receive, unlike many other take outs in the Netherlands, literally stealing you by selling you average food for an insane price. Sushi break is like a fine dining take out/delivery in my humble opinion. So thank you from the bottom of my heart. I will always order from you as long as i stay around Hoofddorp. 🤝🙏🏽❤️

Well, we order today poke bowls, salmon and chiken. The amount of food, wow a lot! Everything seems very fresh! The salmon with the wasabi sauce, has a very good feedback; the chicken one with sesame sauce was a bit plain. Ebi tempura, was oily so we couldn't enjoy much. Do i Recommend it? If you hungry and want a poke bowl, Yes, as it comes a lot!

We hadden een sushibox besteld om af te halen. Stond netjes klaar op de afgesproken tijd en het was heerlijk!

Om 12.00u gebeld of het om 12.30 bezorgd kon worden en het was er 10 voor half 1. Super snelle service en het was echt heerlijk ! Alle sushi smaakte erg vers. Echt een aanrader!
