First time here. Had a nice meal, some dishes more flavorful than others. Certain sushi (California roll), sheet bun, edamame, and salmon salad were very good. The meat was fine but nothing special, and there were dried onions on everything. The service was very friendly and polite. Parking right in front is convenient. It looks cozy, though warm and busy (but it is Saturday). In short, perfectly fine for a one-time visit.

We had a delicious meal here last weekend. The menu features a wide variety of Japanese dishes, and we found the sushi selection to be extensive as well. We were served quickly and didn't have to wait long for our food. You order 4 dishes per person per round (or fewer), and the sushi is served in pairs. This is pleasant because you don't get quite as full from all the sushi. There is an extra charge for dessert.

We ate here on the evening of our wedding with family. The food was delicious, the portions were large, and the staff was friendly.

Atmosphere and service are fine, but the food is absolutely nothing special.

The chicken was really disgusting, slimy, and red on the inside. The soybeans were so soft and shriveled, the prawns were cold, as were some of the meat dishes. I am writing this at night now, because guess what, I got sick. My father said right away that we are never going here again! We own a restaurant ourselves, so we know the ropes. This is absolutely not okay! The staff is so young, by the way; they really don't know what they are doing at all, although that bothers me less than it bothers my father. Besides that, it is such a shame, because this WAS a really good restaurant. Quality is nowhere to be found now.

After seeing it pop up on social media a few times, we thought, "Now we really should go here for lunch!" Inside, the restaurant looks fine. It is a bit dark, but otherwise neatly and tastefully decorated. We started with various sushi pieces. What we really liked here is that the sushi is served in pairs. This makes it easy to try several types without ordering a large amount of a single dish. Additionally, the sushi pieces are nice and small, allowing you to sample a bit more. For us, the beef Beijing style was the absolute standout. It was incredibly delicious! The mushrooms with garlic were also very good. A great place to enjoy some sushi for lunch. Especially if you like trying different things. 🍣✨

We had a delicious meal here tonight with 6 people, and the service was friendly as well. We had a baby with us and were given a quiet spot secluded from the hustle and bustle, which was wonderful. As a result, my baby was able to sleep soundly while we were eating. Definitely worth repeating.

A very atmospheric restaurant that was well-visited on a weekday. We thought the price-quality ratio was really great. Real value for money. The food is a solid 10! The staff could have cleared the empty dishes from the table a bit more often. But if you asked politely, someone would come and take them away. The cocktails were superb. So, two satisfied customers. It is a pity that we don't live nearby.

A surprising menu and flavors. We have visited many sushi restaurants, and the menu here caught our attention. Tacos instead of a handroll, for example. A nice touch, and it tasted good. There are a number of other examples to mention, but without giving too much away: try it yourself!

We’ve been to Sushi San several times and it’s consistently excellent. The sushi is fresh and delicious, the service is always friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere makes it a great place for an evening out. This time we finished with the chocolate lava cake with ice cream and the matcha ice cream with cheesecake. Both were great. Definitely a place we keep coming back to.

What a wonderful experience here in Zeist. Everything was taken care of down to the last detail, and the quality of the food was truly fantastic. The table presentation is truly a work of art. I found it particularly beautiful how the salmon was served on a bed of ice, combined with that special shell detail. Presentation matters, and they certainly succeeded here. We thoroughly enjoyed the various dishes. Everything tasted equally fresh and refined. I will definitely be back here again.

I really enjoyed this place because you could eat inside or out. We ate inside and had a most enjoyable meal and the ordering was simple and efficient. The staff were extremely pleasant and courteous and I would definitely go again because the sushi was delicious.

Once again we had a delicious meal

It was our second time yesterday, and writing a review for small feedback about the hospitality. The food & Sushi was delicious, the waitress also friendly with a smile & full service.. That's why we're comeback. Only little feedback about the guy who work in the cashier, he seems only friendly with a local customer (or white people). When my husband make a payment .. he only smile, keep and eye and only asked my husband: 'Alles lekker meneer?' without ask me also that question. it's so weird because I'm actually an Asian woman just like the guy in the cashier.. But he's only make a conversation with my Dutch husband. As an ex waitress who worked in the Netherlands I've trained to ask the customer fairly, when it comes to two persons we asked: 'Alles naar jullie wensen?'. So that's only my input, he have to learn to be friendly with every kind of customer and indeed Asian customer too, make eye contact not only to one person he like.

Quite expensive but very tasty.

Very nice place, super fast and friendly staff, but it just has nothing to do with sushi. Mayonnaise on your sushi lookalike, tuna mousse as filling. Sweet sauces over the meat everywhere, sweet soy sauce. Fine for small children and people who like this kind of food.

The food was great and the robot waiter is very nice to watch. Ordering is done entirely via mobile and works perfectly. Tip: don't forget the PIN code the restaurant gives you.

I went to Sushi San. The service was fast and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, I found the sushi somewhat mediocre. I have eaten better sushi at other places. Another downside was that empty plates were not cleared, leaving little room on the table for new dishes. Additionally, some hot dishes unfortunately did not arrive very hot. The chicken dishes, on the other hand, were truly excellent. They were incredibly flavorful and perfectly prepared. Compliments to the chef, because the chicken dishes were definitely a 7/10 for me.

Sorry to say so though the sushi was soft and the Rice was not what is expected. I ordered 2 times sliptong and received salmon. The Ramen and Meat was not tasteful. The wasabi was.....not the real wasabi. Did not taste at all. Maybe i'm spoiled as i frequently eat sushi.

It took a very long time to get what you ordered, if you got it at all, because at least 1/3 of the food per round was not brought or you received something you hadn't ordered. Food that was supposed to be hot was cold. The service was also very poor. If you asked for extra chopsticks, they were not brought and we had to ask for them multiple times. The same with drinks, ginger, and wasabi. We have been a few times before and at first we were very satisfied, but the last two times it was ridiculous. We will certainly not be coming back here.

Takeaway, all you can eat, à la carte available. I usually get takeout here; in my opinion, the tastiest sushi without being excessively expensive, my favorites are the dragon roll and sushi San roll, there's a robot clearing tables inside, fun for the kids to watch, a bit massive, and when ordering takeout sometimes difficult to communicate due to background noise and language barrier, but delicious food!

You are taken really well taken care of and the food is really delicious.

My son and I thoroughly enjoyed the sushi buffet. It took a little getting used to ordering on my own phone, but by the second round it was already much easier. It is handy to have a charged phone with you, though 🤪

We dined at Sushi San with a party of 4. It is an atmospheric and spacious restaurant with a modern interior. The welcome was warm, and we can only be positive about the service. The sushi differs from most similar restaurants, which we found to be a positive thing. We will definitely come back to eat here again in a while.

A nice, relaxed place where you can enjoy an extensive selection of sushi and hot dishes. Unfortunately, the service deteriorated over the course of the evening: dishes arrived more slowly and plates were cleared less quickly. Nevertheless, we did enjoy the food and the overall experience.

We had a delicious meal here with 5 people. I think the all-you-can-eat package is well-priced, especially considering the quality of the food. The fish and other dishes were fresh and tasted very good. The service was good and fast. In this type of restaurant, you often have to wait a bit for your dishes to arrive, but I found it went particularly fast here. Apart from that, I also found the mocktails here surprisingly good!

Personally, I don't understand the hype surrounding this restaurant. It takes ages to get your food (the first round took an hour), the sushi rice falls apart, and the meat and fish dishes are of poor quality. It's nothing compared to Sushi Today in Utrecht and Shabu Shabu in Amersfoort, where the quality and service are much better and faster. Sadly, this was my first and last time here!

Terrible regarding pickup. The order was ready for pickup, so we headed that way. An hour later, still no food. It was getting increasingly busy, but there was no contact with the staff. No updates, no apologies, nothing. The final score: we waited over an hour (not fun with bad knees) and everything that was supposed to be hot was cold.

The sushi was often prepared quickly, and the hot dishes didn't take too long either. Many of the hot dishes are also really tasty and well-seasoned, such as the tenderloin skewers. The Wagyu sushi is quite unique and highly recommended, although it does cost a bit extra. Unfortunately, the beef and chicken cubes were sometimes a bit dry, lukewarm, and bland. The price is reasonable, but unfortunately, you have to pay extra for some dishes, including sashimi and desserts, which is included in many places. The chopsticks were a bit bulky, but thankfully they weren't disposable. The service was very friendly and helpful. Plates and bottles weren't cleared away very often, but they didn't pile up too much. We did find it a shame that they hadn't mentioned beforehand that the soy sauce on the table was homemade. In Dutch fusion restaurants, we're used to always having salty soy sauce on the table, but this one was very sweet. We only realized this after a few dishes, which was a shame. Salty soy sauce was available upon request. Ordering is done by phone, a pretty convenient system. 4 dishes per person per round is also convenient. The restaurant looks good and there are plenty of (clean) restrooms. Free parking is also convenient, although the parking lot isn't great in the dark. It's poorly lit at the back.

The quality of this restaurant has really deteriorated. The food wasn't fresh, very meager, and way too expensive for what you get. The food used to be good, but unfortunately, not anymore. Desserts aren't included either. It's just not worth it. There are plenty of good sushi restaurants in Utrecht. I had a real stomach ache and won't be going back. The staff was nice, but I wonder if they'll take my feedback seriously.

Ordering via mobile phone involves entering the numbers listed with the dish, which will be delivered later. You have 2.5 hours and can order up to 4 dishes per person at a time. Unfortunately, we were too late for the final coffee; the 2.5 hours had passed and we couldn't order via mobile phone anymore, but luckily we were able to order it through the staff.

The best sushi can be found here, delicious snacks, especially the chicken is also very tasty, beautiful restaurant, nice atmosphere, definitely try the bubble tea, watermelon, strawberry and mango, they are delicious.

We had a great Christmas dinner, although you could tell the staff was really struggling to keep up. But everyone did their very best, so 5 stars for the service.

Perfect for an all-you-can-eat restaurant. It looks nice, ordering is quick, and the staff is friendly. The dishes were delicious and far from Japanese. Why it's called "Sushi-san" when you mainly order grilled chicken, fries, and fried fish is a mystery to me, but the restrooms were reasonably clean, which is sometimes questionable with these kinds of places. Go here if you're craving Chinese-Dutch fried food. For sushi, stay far, far away.

In my opinion, there wasn't a lot of (well-known) sushi on the menu. If you enjoy trying something different, it's definitely recommended. The quality is superb! There are only three dessert options included. The restaurant is a bit pricey, though.

Not a nice place to eat and highly advise against it, the sushi is not that high quality, they pretend everything is very fancy with the plates and such, but it is actually very cheap, you can get better sushi at Albert Heijn👎 Also, the owner of the restaurant was very mean and unfriendly to his own staff, this was really ridiculous, he should care more about the people who work for him!
