We ended up here by chance, but despite the distance, we will definitely stay here... the food is very fresh and diverse... we were pleasantly surprised and the staff was also friendly, really highly recommended for anyone who is enthusiastic about Japanese cuisine 👌🏻 What was also noticeable was that it was very busy for a weekday in a somewhat remote place... we heard many locals around us who came here more often

Had dinner here with my boyfriend last night and what a beautiful and big restaurant 😍 the interior here is super beautiful and I really liked the food! Nothing to complain about! They also have a lot of choice of dishes, more than at other all you can eat restaurants and many special dishes that I have not seen at all you can eat restaurants before. The staff were friendly. The only downside is that it was really too hot and stuffy inside.. we had indicated it and luckily the door was allowed to open.

Very friendly staff and delicious food. Also wheelchair accessible with a ramp and enough space to drive around with your wheelchair.

Ordered sushi for 60 euros from Sushi San for 2 people. I was looking forward to it. was very hungry. When I looked in the bag I didn't dare put this on the table. it was so little. We ordered a durum twice from the Turk because we were still hungry. never again for me.

The two of us recently went out to eat at Sushi San. We had never heard of this before and therefore didn't know what to expect. But it certainly didn't disappoint! There was a lot of diversity in the menu and there were many dishes that we had never seen or tried before. This made the experience at Sushi San extra special and extra fun. Sushi San also has a robot that collects the plates. We had never seen this before. Very nice addition! The staff were polite, smartly dressed and very helpful. This was also very nice. Homemade soy sauce was put on the table. Without us knowing that we could also order normal soy sauce. We personally like the normal ones better, so this could perhaps have been stated a little better. Everything else was perfect and that's why it gets 5 stars!

Update 26-03-2025: This time it was a bit disappointing... Lots of sushi with mayonnaise. The prawn crackers were very greasy and limp and the chicken sandwich was actually a slice of bao, folded in half with a Kentucky Fried chicken (also available on the menu) and some fiddly pieces of lettuce. Unfortunately, the sandwich looked a bit like a memory foam pillow. The special flavors, as we experienced the first few times... are unfortunately gone... The way of ordering took some getting used to. This has to be done via your own phone (scan the QR code of your table and then you will be linked to an online order page). The food was very tasty and the service was fast and friendly. Not the cheapest, but very good sushi!

The atmosphere is a bit mwah, feels a bit like a restaurant that is not quite finished. On the other hand, the food is good and is also served nice and warm. The snacks are not very spicy, but they do have enough flavor. What is missing is a wider choice of vegetables. It is a great pity that you have to pay extra for your ice cream/dessert. A coffee, tea or another dessert such as an ice cream should be included in the package in my opinion. The service is fine, what you order is on the table very quickly, but unfortunately it also happens that you do not receive what you ordered. All in all a good restaurant with some reservations.

We walked in for the first time on a weekday. Excellent reception and explanation of the concept. It was busy but you didn't notice this at the table. Good sound editing. Beautiful decor. Our son and daughter-in-law come more often and ordered on the app after everyone had filled in their choice. The ordered dishes appeared on the table quickly, all equally delicious. For us a restaurant where we will definitely return 👍 😊

Sensationally delicious!! The two of us ordered a total of 10 different dishes and they were all very, very tasty. The “all you can eat” concept specifically means: 4 dishes per person for €41. Each additional dish costs extra. That's quite a high price; You should choose the 4 dishes carefully. You just need to know, but it didn't detract from the experience for us.

Nice meal. Dishes come through fairly quickly. Occasionally an unordered dish in between, but it still tasted good 😉

The food was tasty, but it took a very long time for the sushi to arrive on the table. The other dishes were served more quickly, but the sushi always arrived very late or sometimes not at all. The drinks and desserts were delivered very quickly, it actually seems like everything you paid extra for came quickly, but what is included in the all you can eat concept is not. I won't be coming here again for a while. This really takes too long with children.

Went to Sushi San for the first time, what a relief it was. Delicious food, good service. We will come here more often.

I was a huge fan of Sushi San. One of my favorite sushi restaurants, I drove from The Hague to Zeist for it. But not anymore. The taste of the dishes is flat, the soya sauce is sweet instead of salty, many classics have simply disappeared from the menu and what has replaced them is not a success in my opinion. Sometimes a change is not an improvement. In short: Sushi San is off my favorites list!

Super cool restaurant!! would definitely eat here. Lots of variety with all delicious dishes. And incredibly sweet staff!

Food here is delicious! Upon arrival we were escorted to our table, where the manager asked us if there were more people than reserved. I explained that I had called ahead to let them know that we would be coming with more and had repeated this several times on the phone. Despite this, the manager argued and claimed that I had not made a proper reservation. I then showed the confirmation email, which clearly stated that we would be coming with 11 people, exactly as I had said. “No problem, we have plenty of room,” the manager finally said. Still, it felt like a problem, because the fault was not ours. Anyway, in the end we were allowed to sit down and enjoy a wonderful evening. The food was excellent and the service very friendly, although the manager could perhaps do with a course.

Sushi san is a pretty new restaurant nearby utrecht. The restaurant is well decorated with contempary chic design. We were pretty with the quality of the sushi even though it's a all you can eat. Better than many other sushi place. The dishes are also well put and you can feel that they put their attention to the detail. Make sure to book in advance especially on a weekend. Even though we booked, there were still a 5 min wait line to get in on Saturday. Sushi San is a new restaurant near Utrecht that’s got a cool, modern vibe. The sushi was great, even though it’s an all-you-can-eat place. It’s better than most sushi places I’ve been to. The dishes were all nicely presented, and it felt like they really put thought into each one. Just a heads up, it’s a popular spot, so it’s best to book in advance, especially on weekends. Even though we had a reservation, there was still a 5-minute wait when we got there on Saturday.

Been to Sushi San before, the food is always very tasty. But today we called for a spot, we take our puppy (who cannot yet stay home alone) to the restaurant more often, which is never a problem. So we asked for a spot in a corner so that we don't bother people. Then they say "well then I have to go and see if the table in the corner is free" with a deep sigh. But he didn't want to check, then he said "you can just leave the puppy at home and it will be fine". Then it remains silent on the line, so I ask if there is room or not and then the gentleman answers “NO” again with a deep sigh. It's no problem if it's not possible, but just say: sorry, unfortunately today it doesn't work... We always come here with pleasure, it's a pity that the gentleman couldn't show any kindness today and responded so strangely...

Great sushi, best I've had so far.

Apparently due to a mistake from the waitress we were allowed to only take 2 dishes per round. We asked 3 times and the waitress repeated 3 times that we were only allowed to take 2 dishes per round. Since we went for lunch, that meant that were were allowed to only take 6 dishes. And they are small. So my 14 year old kid left a supposedly all you can eat restaurant hungry and we did not order sushi, otherwise we had paid 22 euros for 6 nigiris. We received a comment from the owner saying it had been a mistake and to send a mail to them. We have been waiting now for an answer from the owner for a week.

Top.Top.Top. Met 10 waaronder 2 achtjarigen een perfecte avond gehad. Keus genoeg voor iedereen, of je nu vegetarisch, vis of vlees wil eten. Zaterdagavond zijn restaurants altijd druk, ze hadden 400 gasten. Dat was bij een enkele bestelronde merkbaar maar niet storend. Houd je van een toetje dan kom je hier niet zo aan je trekken behalve de kinderen dan want: Smurfen ijs ! Bij een vol restaurant is de muziek een aangename aanvulling en zeker niet deprimerend.

Nice restaurant. Despite the great, fast service and food that was supposed to be hot, it was actually hot! A small disadvantage is that when the door opens you feel a huge draft passing through the restaurant! (Maybe that depends on where we were sitting?)

Sushi San takes the level of an 'All you can Eat' restaurant to a new level! We have been here several times now and always bring other friends/family/acquaintances with us who are all just as full of praise as we are. By scanning the QR code you can order the food, which will be brought to your table quickly. Super price-quality ratio! The layout is often beautiful and the food is delicious. Even though the restaurant is often packed, you can hear each other well in a normal conversation and so you don't have to shout. This combined with an attractive interior and friendly staff who manage to smile even during the mega crowds (real respect!) ensures that we keep coming back again and again. You can also go here for lunch (weekend only)! We are fans!

Review: I had really high expectations for Sushi San, especially because I had heard a lot of good things from others. Unfortunately, the visit was quite disappointing. The food was not tasty and did not taste fresh at all, which I think is essential in a sushi restaurant. Although the staff was friendly, they forgot our orders several times, causing us to wait a long time. The atmosphere itself was fine, but the lack of quality in the food and the sloppiness in the service just made it not a pleasant experience. Too bad, I really hoped for better.

The sushis are incredibly tasty and beautifully prepared. Especially the Chef Special, Nan's Kaiseki, looks super fun and special - highly recommended! The service is excellent: hospitable, attentive and always friendly. A great experience and definitely worth coming back.

Op 2e kerstdag hebben wij hier gegeten, wij komen hier regelmatig en de kwaliteit en kwantiteit is altijd goed, zo ook met kerst. Het eten is goed en vers bereid. De service is uitstekend, bediening altijd vriendelijk, de managers zijn altijd in voor een praatje. Lokatie is goed en parkeergelegenheid is ook goed. Een echte aanrader!

We ate here twice because of a course elsewhere. It was something to look forward to. Very good quality sushi for an all you can eat. Dishes arrived quickly, even when it got busy. You place an order with your own telephone on which everything is registered. The only point I found were the two-person tables on the aisle, which were a bit less cozy if you were sitting there with a loved one.

The food was very good for an all you can eat restaurant, but it was quite busy and it was sometimes a bit too warm inside. There are also children running around, which is very annoying while eating. So it would be nice if something could be done about that.

Taste of dishes is good but sometimes a bit flat. Some dishes were not really warm. Pangasius fillet was undercooked and very fatty. Service is fast and unobtrusive. The restaurant is very large, which makes it restless.

The food was good and there is a lot of choice. We ate here for the first time and the system is therefore somewhat unclear. There is a menu and you can also order online. There is so much choice that it is difficult to get an overview. I gave one star less for the atmosphere, because it was really busy. In my experience, the tables are still too close together, although I have seen worse. The staff are friendly and helpful. We were here on a Friday evening, but it's definitely worth trying again on another day.

Great concept; all you can eat without those strange rules that you often see at similar restaurants. Very, diverse (not just sushi) and well-prepared food. The sushi itself was just okay; It doesn't melt in your tongue or anything. Everything is always on the table quickly, the service is nice and fast, some of them are even real talents! Went to this restaurant based on the 'good' reviews. But unfortunately our own experience was very disappointing. At reception we did not get a hospitable feeling. And the food was also very disappointing. Not good soy sauce, tuna was gray and gray in color. Flavors were otherwise bland and not exciting. Menus are dirty and ordering via a QR code is worthless.
