Swoopy apeldoorn in Centrum

I haven't been there for a long time and thought I would introduce my daughter to the delicious cone with fries. Unfortunately, no one was present on arrival, the employee was smoking. Interrupted her smoke break and took our order. Without washing her hands, she threw the fries in the fryer and immediately went back to smoking and then scooped fries into our bags again without washing her hands. I won't be back.

Aiii, I was always a fan of swoopy but hadn't been for a few years now. I think this was also the last time. I had fries with satay sauce, but the satay sauce was just thrown on it cold. I'm sure it won't stand out in combination with hot fries. I was already walking so I didn't feel like walking back. I found the lady behind the counter to be friendly but not very attentive. And why do they throw pringless into the “pull wall”????? It won't be long before they also put snacks, bras and detergent in it.

Soft ice cream Medium costs 2.50 but the screen shows 2 euros. "Yes, we still have to change." But then you are already set on ice, and you have already had the change and you hope for better. The person in front of me had an oubli horn Groot, it had a big tuft on it, we got a pop... tapping ice cream is an art, but this made no sense. Milkshake Vanilla tasted like nothing. Hygiene then, the young lady scratches her head and then takes the cone. This disgusts me, so I didn't eat the crispy cone. Neither does my wife, by the way. Last time Swoopy, good luck with that sneaky euro tip. We will never come here again.

Swoopy has always been one of the best fries in Apeldoorn. Note: Wash! Man man, how things have deteriorated. No staff in the business upon arrival. There is a sign that says you can scan a QR code and pay online. Several customers do this and pay..... then only after more than 10 minutes does a lady walk from the Hoofdstraat who enters through a side door and wants to take the order. No...we had already done this online. Quickly put the fries in the pan and even faster she goes outside again to smoke and text. New customers who want ice cream are waiting but are not noticed right away....these are also processed as quickly as possible so that texting and smoking can resume. In the meantime, we are still waiting for the fries... to arrive... although we have to tell them again what we ordered. Satay sauce is burnt, probably because she was away for so long, but it is added to the fries. All black bits in there. Apparently the seller sees it too because then the entire container of satay sauce goes into the container. No Swoopy: a big upgrade is needed!!!!!!

Ice cream came out of the machine already half melted and was handed over like that, so that about 80% of it ended up on the floor after 5 minutes.

Online orders go wrong every time. From closed doors, no sauce you pay for, to half orders. It wouldn't surprise me if the positive reactions are employees and family.

Unfortunately, I am very disappointed by my recent experience at Swoopy Frietzaak. The service we received was far from professional and friendly. The employee who helped us (curly red/orange hair and tinted) made several mistakes with our order and clearly treated us differently than other customers. This behavior, which I would characterize as racist, is unacceptable and inexcusable.

Whenever we go shopping we get a tasty snack or a large oubliehoorn, the largest and tastiest in Apeldoorn. And affordable and simply customer-friendly staff!

Staff doesn't look friendly. Ordered fries with fries sauce but the staff told us that our fries were ready with mayo and that fries sauce and mayo are the same. Ice cream from a container is actually not an option because you get it in a cup with a spoon that is too short. (Ice cream from a container (cup) must be at least two euros). Staff don't look at you when they hand over the food.

Had good food with nice staff. Helped quickly and the food was ready quickly.

Just been here. Asked politely for a burger. No, we don't have one, said the extremely unfriendly and rude staff member. Then give me a Bear Claw, I asked…. No we haven't!!! I asked what do you have? You just look at what's in the machine and otherwise just fuck off. Someone shouted at me in front of a number of people. Some people spoke to me and had never experienced this before. In 40 years I have never been treated so much like a dog as by that woman from Swoopy. Really too disgusting for words. I am going to ensure that people choose another cafeteria and ignore this case. A street dog is treated even better. Disgusting

I know Swoopy fries from 34 years ago when we moved to Apeldoorn. We lived on Stationstraat at the time, so Swoopy became a household name for us to get fries. I don't dare say how many Snacks we pulled out of the pull wall there😋. The last time there was unfortunately 20 years ago. I have to go to the market today so I'm going back to get a gabled roof in 20 years 😋😋😋😋😋😋😋

Bad experience! Placed an online order via their own site and then collected it at a specified time. My son was right on time to pick up the order, but he still had to wait over 20 minutes for the order. Unfriendly lady and tough fries, probably re-fried. Not to be repeated.

Ordered at 4:30 PM and was told it could be picked up at 5:00 PM. Then we got there and we were told that it was only now going to be put in the fryer. I really don't understand why you have to wait 30 minutes.

NB! Snacks from the wall are NOT warm here. Take into account lukewarm to cold frikandels and the like. According to the employee, this is "very normal". Swoopy is a very nice snack bar. When I always go to the center of Apeldoorn, I always like a beef tenderloin fries there. Delicious!
