Haven't been in a long time and thought I'd introduce my daughter to the delicious cone of fries. Unfortunately, there was no one there when we arrived; the employee was smoking. She interrupted her smoke break to take our order. She threw the fries in the fryer without washing her hands and immediately went back to smoking, only to then scoop fries into our cones again without washing her hands. I won't be back.

Ugh, I've always been a fan of Swoopy's but hadn't been for a few years. I think this was the last time, too. I had fries with satay sauce, but the satay sauce was just poured on cold. I probably thought it wouldn't be noticeable with hot fries. I was already walking, so I didn't feel like walking back. I thought the lady behind the counter was friendly, but not very attentive. And why do they put Pringles in the "pull wall"????? Soon they'll also put peanuts, bras, and laundry detergent in there.

Medium soft serve costs €2.50, but the screen says €2. "Yes, we still need to change." But then you're already prepared for ice cream, and you've already had the change and are hoping for better. The person before me had a large oubli cone, which had a generous dollop on it, we got a small dollop... pouring ice cream is an art, but this was ridiculous. Vanilla milkshake tasted like nothing. Hygiene then, the young woman scratches her head and then grabs the cone. I'm horrified by this, so I didn't eat the crunchy cone. Neither did my wife, for that matter. Last time at Swoopy, good luck with that sneaky euro tip. We'll never come here again.

Swoopy used to be one of the best chip shops in Apeldoorn. Take note: Was! Oh my, oh my, how things have gone downhill. Upon arrival, there were no staff in the shop. There was a sign saying you could scan a QR code and pay online. Several customers did this and paid... then, after more than 10 minutes, a woman from Hoofdstraat walked in through a side door to take our order. No... we had already done this online. She quickly threw the fries in the pan and even faster, she went outside smoking and texting. New customers waiting for ice cream weren't immediately noticed... they, too, were dealt with as quickly as possible so they could text and smoke again. Meanwhile, we're still waiting for the fries... they're coming... even though we have to explain again what we ordered. The satay sauce was burnt, probably because she was gone so long, but she did put it on the fries. All black bits in them. Apparently the seller sees it too, because then the whole container of satay sauce goes into the container. No, Swoopy: a major upgrade is needed!

Ice cream came out of the machine already half melted and was handed over like that, so that about 80% of it ended up on the floor after 5 minutes.

Online orders go wrong every time. From closed doors, no sauce you pay for, to half orders. It wouldn't surprise me if the positive reactions are employees and family.

Unfortunately, I am very disappointed by my recent experience at Swoopy Frietzaak. The service we received was far from professional and friendly. The employee who helped us (curly red/orange hair and tinted) made several mistakes with our order and clearly treated us differently than other customers. This behavior, which I would characterize as racist, is unacceptable and inexcusable.

Whenever we go shopping we get a tasty snack or a large oubliehoorn, the largest and tastiest in Apeldoorn. And affordable and simply customer-friendly staff!

Delicious fries and quick service

Staff doesn't look friendly. Ordered fries with fries sauce but the staff told us that our fries were ready with mayo and that fries sauce and mayo are the same. Ice cream from a container is actually not an option because you get it in a cup with a spoon that is too short. (Ice cream from a container (cup) must be at least two euros). Staff don't look at you when they hand over the food.

Staff was customer-friendly and solution-oriented. Food was also very tasty.

Just been here. Asked politely for a burger. No, we don't have one, said the extremely unfriendly and rude staff member. Then give me a Bear Claw, I asked…. No we haven't!!! I asked what do you have? You just look at what's in the machine and otherwise just fuck off. Someone shouted at me in front of a number of people. Some people spoke to me and had never experienced this before. In 40 years I have never been treated so much like a dog as by that woman from Swoopy. Really too disgusting for words. I am going to ensure that people choose another cafeteria and ignore this case. A street dog is treated even better. Disgusting

I know Swoopy fries from 34 years ago when we moved to Apeldoorn. We lived on Stationstraat at the time, so Swoopy became a household name for us to get fries. I don't dare say how many Snacks we pulled out of the pull wall there😋. The last time there was unfortunately 20 years ago. I have to go to the market today so I'm going back to get a gabled roof in 20 years 😋😋😋😋😋😋😋

Ordered at 4:30 PM and was told it could be picked up at 5:00 PM. Then we got there and we were told that it was only now going to be put in the fryer. I really don't understand why you have to wait 30 minutes.

Bad experience! Placed an online order via their own site and then collected it at a specified time. My son was right on time to pick up the order, but he still had to wait over 20 minutes for the order. Unfriendly lady and tough fries, probably re-fried. Not to be repeated.

NB! Snacks from the wall are NOT warm here. Take into account lukewarm to cold frikandels and the like. According to the employee, this is "very normal". If you want a hot frikandel, you have to order at the counter and not pull it out of the wall. By the way, we received a very tasty hot frikandel. 👍🏻

Swoopy is a very nice snack bar. When I always go to the center of Apeldoorn, I always like a beef tenderloin fries there. Delicious!

What a dirty place, the cashier had a shirt on with sweat, Sauces, and God knows what else was on it! Tip: buy an apron (or 15 shirts). Frikandel totally tasteless. Bad experience.
