It's always a treat to eat at Symbiose and, of course, share all the dishes. It was truly delicious again last Friday!

What a great discovery! A friend invited me to celebrate my birthday in this Lovely restaurant: delicious food, super friendly service and lovely decoration in a calm atmosphere. Open kitchen, “gezellig”! We chose the vegetarian menu and we loved every dish. I will definitely recommend and come back.

It was one of the best food experiences I've ever had. So much detail in every dish, in flavor and optic :) We've had both menus and shared everything (definitely a recommendation). Everything was on point and the portions definitely enough to be full. They've made everything possible and were so greatful and nice. It is such a small and cute restaurant with an open kitchen which is very welcoming. All in all, it was an incredibly great experience and definitely a recommendation for everyone!

Perfect spot! Best reserve. The three course menu is the main draw, also you can select to take dishes a la carte.

In my opinion, this is the most culinary-focused organic vegetarian and vegan restaurant in The Hague. Always surprising dishes. Fantastic flavors in this cozy, homey restaurant. Located in the middle of a residential area, so you'll have to look for it.

We came to Symbiose 3 years ago and it was a magical evening. 3 years later, and it still is. It is abundantly clear how much thought and work is put into crafting the menus, the ambiance and the dishes. The place is serene and the team working there warm and friendly. This is a must-try culinary experience in The Hague. Next time we hope to come sooner than 3 years later ;)

This is a really nice and quiet place to eat. The food was delicious and special and the wine normal price. Also a very nice owner.

An intimate and authentic place, the menu is changing often to match with the seasonal products. Great selection of wine. My compliments for the vegan menu. Love the open kitchen too, symbiose is not just a restaurant it is a complete sensorial experience!

Expertly prepared food in a homey atmosphere.

I can't resist. A very pleasant, atmospheric, and cozy place. With friendly and attentive service, very knowledgeable about the wines and the accompanying food pairings.

Took it in tow because I really had to eat here at some point. And I'm amazed! Didn't miss the surf and turf and medium rare steak. Dishes are well thought out and coordinated, a real treat for my taste buds. What I also find very cute are the plants on the table in a beautiful milk jug, I love it! The atmosphere is relaxed and you can just have a conversation (music is quiet and no buzz). My new favorite dessert is the Gateau Basque. So even if you live a (cool) end from here... then I really think you should come here to experience this.

Prettig huiskamer gevoel, alles verliep rustig en heel prettig. Fijne bediening, goede uitleg van het eten en de bijbehorende wijnen. Het eten was heerlijk! Voor herhaling vatbaar.

What a great experience at Symbiose. Delicious food and a super nice selection of (matching) natural wines (we ordered a number of wines based on this). Great hospitality and very nice to talk about their restaurant after dinner. A pearl in The Hague in a super nice location, which you should definitely visit once (or more often)!

You don't often come across them like this. At Symbiose everything is done with attention. I am really surprised by the food. Vegan and gluten-free menu possible, a twice-weekly changing menu (!), and serving such tasty, creative dishes. Fresh artichoke soup with watercress and walnut oil. Cashew coconut cake with grilled papaya - lime ice cream. Just make it up. The flavors are subtle, the dishes well balanced. Also in terms of textures. And I haven't even mentioned the atmosphere and service yet. It felt like we were really welcome, real contact was made. Cheerful, optimistic atmosphere. Living room feeling. If you look around carefully, you will see that the furnishings have also been done with care. You've figured it out by now: it's a lot of fun here. And how nice to eat somewhere again where everything is right. Also tasty for omnivores!

Very chill. Friendly, customer-oriented service, with clear expertise. The quality of the food exceeded my expectations and expectations. For me, it is a simple farm boy who does not often spend time in a chic tent, a bit on the pricey side, but no bones about it (prices are listed online) and it is declared (only sustainable, organically responsible products) . I am not vegan myself, but I think it is very good to see that a completely vegan (and also gluten-free) option is available as a weekly menu. A lot of restaurants can learn from that. All in all we had a very good experience. I would love to come back there someday.

Nice restaurant with a living room atmosphere. Dishes prepared with care. I later found one of the recipes literally on the internet, so I didn't come up with it myself. Service was top notch. Less great was the bottom wine, not even intended as half a glass. And that for 7 euros per glass. Then save elsewhere, this was really disappointing. The sip of wine tasted good.

We had a delicious meal at Symbiose. Each course was tasty and a good quantity. The homemade kambucha is also delicious! The only point of attention would be that they could ask more quickly if we would like something to drink. We will definitely go back!

If you want to have a REALLY delicious vegetarian or vegan meal, then you should eat here!

In this humble restaurant you will eat delicious, seasonal and organic vegetarian and vegan food. The setting is cozy, the staff is super attentive and friendly. They serve a 3, 4, or 5 course dinner which changes biweekly. We opted for the 3 course dinner and admittedly, this was more than sufficient for us. 10/10 and fully recommended. We will be back.

Super lekker eten! Geef wel echt elke dieetwens aan van te voren, niet pas als je daar gaat eten, dan is er veel te accommoderen. Je kunt niet wisselen tussen de menus. Eten was heerlijk. Bijpassende glazen wijn waren ook super lekker. En heel tof dat het per half glas kon.

Wat een verrassing! Enigszins verscholen in een woonwijk ligt dit kleine restaurant. Je zit eigenlijk in een eetkamer met open keuken. Er is plek voor circa 12 personen. De biologische / vegetarische kaart heeft een zeer beperkte (maar toch voldoende) keus, maar in overleg is nog wel wat mogelijk. Ook wordt heel goed rekening gehouden met eventuele dieetwensen. Ook als je van vlees houdt een aanrader. Hoezo? Het eten is zo mooi en lekker dat je het vlees niet eens mist. En de prijs is ook prima te verteren. Een echte aanrader om eens te proberen.

Wat een ontdekking is dit! Ik heb in tijden niet zo heerlijk gegeten! Zelfs paddestoelen (die ik normaal niet lekker vind) vond ik lekker. Alle gerechten en wijnen worden met zoveel liefde en passie toegelicht, hier kom ik zeker terug!

Heerlijk eten, echt een verwennerij! Mooie bijpassende wijnen, halve glazen kan ook: heel sympathiek. Bediening attent, aardig en met uitgebreide informatie over de gangen en bijpassende wijnen. Top avond!

In 1 woord fantastisch! Op mijn verjaardag hier gegeten met mijn dochters. Uit eten zoals het hoort. Vers, zeer verrassende voortreffelijke smaak combinaties. Rustig kunnen eten in een rustige huiselijke sfeer. Enorm veel kennis van het eten en de bijpassende kwaliteitswijnen. Zéér de moeite waard. Én niet duur! En als verrassing kreeg ik een biologische vegan chocolade reep met een lief kaartje voor mijn verjaardag 💕

Echt een restaurant waar je in alles merkt dat er vanuit hart en ziel gewerkt wordt. Zowel de keuken als de bediening. Het was boven verwachting en we gaan er zeker vaker eten.

Wat een gezelligheid! En wat een leuk en gezellig personeel. Daar komt dan nog eens bij dat het eten superlekker was. Heerlijk genoten van een avondje weg samen in de buurt. Ja, ze zijn er nog de 'buurt' restaurantjes. Een aanrader.

Fantastic place! The food, amazing. One of the best places fully vegetarian I have been to 😍. They have a set menu which changes ever 2 weeks. They can accommodate for dietary restrictions or allergies if needed.

Vond het veganistische eten wel oke maar niet heel bijzonder voor de wat hogere prijs..

Top ervaring! We kozen voor het 4 gangen menu met aangepaste wijnen. Het eten was heerlijk en de bediening minstens even geweldig. Neem zeker de wijnen bij de gerechten want die zijn absoluut de moeite! De niet drinkers kunnen aangepaste thee krijgen bij de gerechten. Zeker langsgaan als je in Den Haag bent!

Beste vegetarische restaurant in Den Haag. Voor 2 personen vijf gangen en wijnarrangement voor nog geen €200! Kan het iedereen aanraden die een heerlijke avond wilt fijnproeven!

We had an amazing evening. The vegan as well as the vegetarian menu performed convincingly. Lovely to see once again that delicious cusine has no need for meat at all.

Wij hadden een 4 gangen menu met wijnarrangement. Het was top en heel vriendelijk personeel. Ik kom hier zeker nog een keer terug.

Ontzettend lekker eten, veganistisch én biologisch en glutenvrij. En dat met een uitstraling waar je U tegen zegt! Ook het personeel is zeer vriendelijk, gastvrij en rijk in de uitleg over het eten/wijn opties. Zeker een aanrader!!

Ik heb hier samen met drie anderen een fantastische avond gehad; de uren schoten voorbij. Het eten was heerlijk, de drie gangen liepen perfect in elkaar over en de bediening was ook prettig. Ze kunnen zichzelf hier allemaal een schouderklopje geven 😊

Echt een geweldige plek om te eten. Sfeervol, vriendelijk, gastvrij maar boven alles ontzettend lekker eten. Een ware smaak verassing. En prachtige wijnen bij elk gerecht.

Altijd gezellig bij symbiose, veelste lekker eten, goede wijnen, goede sfeer en mooie ruimte. De tafels staan lekker ruim, daardoor zit je niet op het bord van je buurman te kijken of met een gesprek mee te luisteren, echt goede en aardige bediening. Echt top!!

We hebben deze avond ontzettend lekker gegeten in dit restaurant. Wij gingen voor het volledige menu met aangepaste wijnen en hebben daar geen spijt van: zeer mooi samengestelde gerechten en zorgvuldig geselecteerde bijpassende wijn stonden garant voor een fijne culinaire avond. Ook een dikke pluim voor de zeer sympathieke bediening inclusief deugddoende dosis naturel.

It was so good ! We spent a great time, the service and the food was excellent. We recommend it at 100%. We had a choice between 2 menus. It's hard to pick one because the both seems so appetizing. My husband took the first menu with 5 courses + wines and I took the second menu with 3 courses, and it was so delicious. We will definitely come back ! Thank you Nymphea & Dymphna.

We ordered take-away for 5 people and it was great. From the friendly, professional greeting and preparation to the sustainable packaging and delicious juices, everything that let up to the meal was great. It is such a charming little corner the restaurant inhabits. Food was wonderful. Both the soup and the risotto where complex with both umami, creamy, savoury and fruity notes coming together perfectly. Well-balanced and well-executed. The components combined well to form a food-experience that lifted our moods in these very 2020’ish times. Thank you, keep up this level and we will come back many times.
