There's always a very cozy and welcoming atmosphere where you immediately feel welcome. The decor is always seasonal, which is fantastic! Vegan food is delicious and clearly prepared with great care and love. The flavors are surprising, and the dishes are beautifully presented. The staff is incredibly friendly and really takes their time with you, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. It's a lovely place where I often love to return for good food and a relaxing moment.

The food is perfectly spiced and very flavorful. We would recommend both dishes we ordered: the vegetable biryani and the palak paneer. The atmosphere is chill and the service pleasant and attentive. The food seems overpriced, especially since the restaurant is located in the lobby of a budget hotel and there are no meats or alcoholic drinks on the menu. For 2 people, our bill was nearly 60 €. The biryani was over 30 €! And even a small bottle of sparkling water was over 3 €. To be fair, the biryani was large enough for two people to share it, so that’s what we will do if we come here again. (And we will get takeout and have our drinks at home ;) ) Edit: my mistake, the biryani is 23 €. I do think that the restaurant (which has often stood empty when I have walked by during the dinner hour) would be more popular if it were less expensive, given the location. Or maybe that’s not it? Maybe there just aren’t that many vegetarians here? Either way, the dishes we tried were delicious!

I am adding a my comment here because the owner below has mentioned that they havent found any record of my visit. I was not asked my name when we walked in. The restaurant was very cold. My starter was cold (khaman) just out from the refrigerator. i ordered samosa chaat and the portion of the chaat was very small. My main course was ok but I expected a better Thali which I can easily find in other indian restaurants in The Hague.

A really lovely restaurant! The waiter was incredibly friendly and very helpful in helping us decide what to order. When he realized we couldn't decide, he recommended the thali – we highly recommend it too! The appetizer platter was also simply amazing! Be warned about the "spicy" – by European standards, it's very, very spicy; you need to be used to spicy food. The restaurant itself is very inviting, however, we were both quite cold – hence the one-star deduction for ambiance.

Very helpful and friendly staff. They helped with my dish order needs, and then some more. Reservation for 6+ recommended. All the Thali dishes were amazing with distinct flavors from each other. Very fun to explore, and all are delicious! Spicy level can be adjusted, but remember some things are just spicy by nature and can't be helped. Thali portion is solid, and deceptively filling. The hollow, crispy ball appetizer is a must have! Lemon cake dessert is high quality lemon, and the chocolate cake is rich, just moist enough, and not too sweet either. You wouldn't remember this is a meat-free restaurant. Will return with more visitors. Ginger soda is excellent - tastes like actual ginger with bubbles and not too sweet.

It is hard to find good, authentic, Traditional Indian vegetarian restaurants in The Netherlands but veggiesaurus has it all. The food was delicious, high quality and well presented. Preparing traditional Indian food is time consuming and requires skill to perfect the dish as most of the ingredients taste different here but they have nailed it! If you are looking for 'real' Indian food then this is the place to go! I'm waiting to go back!

Based on the other reviews, I expected much better. I don't know what was in our food, but it tasted awful. Like it was spoiled. Unfortunately, it was simply inedible. On the plus side: the delivery person was very friendly and formal.

The service was very mediocre, such as a typical street restaurant in India. Not EU standard. The food was delicious, no doubt. However, the concerning part was that the chef was visible from the seating area, and I noticed them NOT wearing any gloves at all or any chef apron either. They were directly touching the food they were cooking. So I doubt the hygiene part if it is taken seriously at all.

We had a delicious vegan meal. We asked for a surprise, and we didn't regret it. Every dish was delicious. The staff was friendly and told us about the food we were served. We'd love to come back again.

What a discovery, Veggiesaurus! From the moment we walked in we received a friendly welcome and the service was lightning fast. The food? Fresh, perfectly seasoned and generously served. I had the Indochinese Thali and seriously couldn't believe how delicious it was – every bite an explosion of flavour. What makes this restaurant really special is the unique menu with Indian dishes that you rarely find in the Netherlands, and that are also so well prepared. As icing on the cake, we received delicious cupcakes from the house: chocolate, red velvet and even a Dubai variant. Abnormally tasty. The only room for improvement is the atmosphere and furnishings – which could be a little warmer and cozier. But beyond that? Real food that keeps you craving.

Always good food here. Especially for vegans. They can make the location a bit nicer, but difficult in such a hotel. Service could also be better. But the food makes up for a lot!

Placed an order tonight, we ordered two different cupcakes, but received two of the same ones. I assume that the other one was no longer available, but then I think it would be nice to communicate that. Furthermore, it is of course very nice that there is so much vegan choice and the dishes are also very surprising. Certainly not things that I would make myself (easily), but I do think it is a good price. I also thought some of what we ordered was really spicy.

The food was flavourful, aromatic and fresh. The chai drinks were very authentic! The staff helpful and very friendly. None of the dishes we ordered tasted the same, which is a rarity in Europe, each was unique and full of fragrance! Thank you, we will recommend this location the everyone!

Delivery Order Food: 3/5 We ordered Paneer Tikka, Palak Paneer, Garlic Chili Naan, and Samosa Chaat. Coming from NYC, I've been lucky to have had the ability to try Indian food by Providence. First off, the paneer is excellent. Instantly recognized as fresh and homemade. The Paneer Tikka was decent, missing the tandoor smokeiness. The palak Paneer had a great spice level and flavor; could have used more ghee. And the Chaat was near spot on. Delivery: 5/5 Very fast, still hot, and great packaging.

One of our friends praised Veggiesaurus, so we were wanting to come over for some time. We were blown over by Litti Chokha. After such a long time we found an Indian restaurant trying to do something different and serving authentic traditional food. The Kesar Pista Lassi was also outstanding. Again something I was a bit sceptical to order but was jus wowed by the drink. A must vist for all those searching for good food.

This place is heaven for vegan and vegetarian people. The whole menu is vegan except 4 paneer dishes. They serve mostly Indian cuisine and the taste is amazing. They have a special Bihari dish called as Litti Chaukha which you can't get it anywhere else in Netherlands. It is highly recommend. The owner is super Friendly. This place is located inside the hotel so it is tricky to find the entrance. The toilets are also located near the reception of the hotel. They serve Indian vegan dessert 🍨

We stumbled across this place while headed to McDonald's with a hangry 5 year old after a day at Scheveningen. We saw the name and were intrigued -- we are vegetarian and also like dinosaurs 😂 Our server was very accommodating and welcoming. The food was tastey and fresh. The location isn't the most charming.

Very delicious food! 💛 Vegan dishes that I have never eaten before with a delicious kombucha. Staff are very friendly. There is a relaxed atmosphere. We will definitely come back! 😍 I can't wait to try more food & have great conversations. (If I may make a comment: the only thing is that I don't think the interior fits the name Veggiesaurus. When I think of the nice/funny name Veggiesaurus, I think of playful & automatically the color (pale/dark) green. ☺️ The restaurant looked sleeker/quieter/more chic than expected, which is totally fine with me, but in my opinion it doesn't match the name & therefore you might miss out on customers, which would be a shame, because the staff/food is fantastic 🌿😄)

Our visits to Veggiesauras have been consistently delightful. The star of the show was undoubtedly the Litti Chokha, which can only be described as the best I've ever had in the whole of the Netherlands. The chokha was finger-licking good, a burst of authentic flavors that transported me straight to East India. The Momos also stood out with their excellent taste, proving to be a delightful addition to our dinner. However, the Samosa Chat fell a bit short of expectations. Having ordered online multiple times and visited the restaurant on a couple of occasions, I can vouch for the consistency in the quality of food. The ambiance of the restaurant was pleasing, creating a comfortable setting for a delightful dinner. The staff were friendly, enhancing the overall dining experience.

We ordered here on Boxing Day, and it was a great success. Very tasty dishes, I personally really enjoyed the satay. The curries were great, the samosas also very good. All in all, we will happily order here again. Everything was also hot when it arrived, even though we ordered in Delft!

Het interieur van Veggiesaurus moet anders. Er is bijna geen ambiance/sfeer. De tafels zijn van een slechte kwaliteit en het plafond is ouderwets. Ook kun je rechtstreeks de keuken in kijken terwijl je eet. Mensen kunnen bij wijze van in- en uitlopen in de keuken, en dat komt de hygiëne niet ten goede. Het investeren in de aankleding/interieur raad ik zeker aan, want het verpest de beleving in het eten. Voor een goede sfeer zou ik - helaas - niet naar dit restaurant gaan.

Delicious, mainly vegan, Indian food. Actually everything is tasty, they have a wide menu so choosing is difficult, but they will help you with all their love. Friendly service with an incredible memory 😃.

We were coming back from a nice event at the Fokker terminal and thought about a bite in the neighbourhood. The menu has changed, no variety of burgers. The placed looked closed due to the desaray of the eating area. I ordered a cola-light and without notice a cola zero has been open in fron of me.

We bestellen er al jaren vega eten. Na jaren hebben we er ook fysiek gegeten. Het eten is er net zo lekker, maar dan in een meer Indiase sfeer. Het personeel is er vriendelijk en netjes. Het is een familie bedrijf, het gezin is dichtbij zoals je dat ook in India hebt.

Veggiesaurus behoort tot de top in Den Haag als het on vega eten gaat. Vanavond voor het eerst besteld en het was fantastisch. De bezorger was vriendelijk en legde bij een bepaald gerecht uit hoe je het moest eten.

Me and my husband visited this restaurant for our anniversary dinner. We were very happy with the food specifically for the reason that the restaurant could offer me Jain food which I requested for and it was absolutely amazing! Super lekker eten! Smaakvol, textuur goed, veel vega(n) eten beschikbaar. We zaten ook best snel vol, de porties waren ruim voldoende! Service was top. De meneer wist veel te vertellen over de gerechten en gaf aanbevelingen. Misschien dat er visueel nog iets meer gedaan zou kunnen worden aan het restaurant, al is dat voor mij geen reden om niet terug te komen. Het eten is gewoon te goed!

What a gem! We ordered in veggiesaurus a few times and then decided to take our friends here to dine in. The food and experience are amazing. The owner clearly cares so much about the dishes and his guests and was able to give us many recommendations. Many of the dishes are on the hot side, but if you need something less spicy he can suggest milder options (even the less spice-tolerant people in our group were able to handle it.) Well worth the trip even though it’s a bit out of the way.

Amazing restaurant with excellent vegetarian food. One of my regular go-to choices when ordering. Today I tried to order via Uber Eats, but the website was buggy, so I had to place the order via phone. Then it turned out that one of the items I ordered wasn't on the menu anymore. Although this was no problem for me, they still ended up giving me an extra Samosa Chaat and Naan to make up for it. Amazing customer service! Always happy to return to Veggiesaurus.

We bestelden oa een special thali. Was heel erg lekker. Maar werd enigszins afgekoeld opgediend. Bestellen liep door personeelstekort niet helemaal van een leien dakje. We kregen nog extra een starter: col gappe. Die waren heerlijk. Ook kregen we nog een doosje met allerlei zoetigheden mee als troost voor het wachten.

Stumbled on this venue on google . Ill be honest the food is amazing and the service / host just perfect . But we paid €90 for 2 persons!!! Thats a 4 star restaurant fine dining price . So keep to the menu, because if turn form it youll get a suprise .

A few years ago we first tried this food. We order or pick-up nearly every week. Their food is so delicious. The taste of the food is unique. The food is worth the money. It is fresh and delicious. One thing they could improve on is the desserts they dont sell online. They have only baklava. I. The shop itself they do sell the desserts. I hope you will put variety of desserts on Thuisbezorgd or your website. Kind regards, loyal customer

Veggiesaurus is our go-to restaurant for rainy Mondays, pre-weekend Thursdays and celebrations. This time we had the privilege of enjoying the Veggiesaurus Grand Thali Celebration, which is a huge silver plate with 50+ "small" dishes. Every little dish with its own unique, authentic taste. We always enjoy the food and the Grand Thali truly is a celebration.

We spent the family birthday party at Veggiesaurius and even dutch grandparents were really amazed. The kitchen was also very happy to adjust the recipes as per the sensitivity to spicy food or specific preferences.

After a whole year of wandering in search of good vegetarian food in the Netherlands and settling for anything on the menu that was plant based, when I found this place, I felt like all my food prayers were answered! Located at the outskirts of Den Haag, I recommend this quiet and beautifully decorated restaurant for a dine-in. While waiting for my food, I noticed a gazillion home deliveries on their way out, but I am not a fan of their home deliveries. The cold home delivered food does not do justice to what Himanshu has to offer. In the past three months we went there thrice and were pleasantly surprised each time by their unique fusion foods. Honestly, I wanted to order everything on the menu without worrying about whether what I was putting in my mouth could have meat. I haven’t had that in very many places outside India. By far, my favourite was their Valentine’s Day special menu where the 5- course meal and every dish on it simply blew our minds away! I would say their desserts still have room for improvement as I think they are a tad bit heavy, but I am certain Himanshu will get there soon with the drive and passion for cooking that he has. His lovely wife is always seen around making sure the guests are comfortable. All in all, a dining experience totally worth it, especially for all the Veggiesauruses going extinct in the meat worshipping food terrain! Fantastisch Indiaas eten, en nog vegetarisch ook. Bovendien hele aardige mensen. Het is iets uit het centrum maar de moeite waard om voor om te rijden/ fietsen. Je kunt ook eten afhalen wat tijdens deze pandemie wel handig is. Alles wat we er tot nu toe hebben gegeten is heerlijk. Zelfs de saté, wat toch wel een uitdaging is. Ook de nagerechten zijn de moeite waard
