You sit right by the water and can watch the boats come in and the pedestrian bridge open and close. They also have delicious coffee and delicious cakes.

Cozy cafe/restaurant with a personal touch. Good home-brewed beer. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we went back for dinner the next evening. Very tasty food, great atmosphere, and hospitality is paramount. Excellent.

Beautifully located restaurant, right on the canal. Two of us went there on a Friday evening and got a seat without a reservation. However, since it's relatively small inside, it's advisable to make a reservation. The food was delicious and, above all, quite plentiful. We're big eaters, but we didn't finish everything. We had the XXL harbor burger and the seafood salad special. The beer was also very drinkable, and the server was very friendly and attentive. We'd be happy to come back if we ever come to Enkhuizen again.

A super cozy café-restaurant. In good weather, it's located outside in the old inner harbor, next to the old Drom Tower. The food is good and simple, and the price is reasonable. The owner is friendly and welcoming. It's a popular spot for water sports enthusiasts.

We had a wonderful meal and a super fun evening last night. Nice traditional pub atmosphere, friendly, professional staff. A lively, hectic atmosphere. The food was excellent. The spare ribs and satay were perfect. Highly recommended.

We walked in and asked if we could sit inside for a bit after a long motorcycle ride to warm up. The older gentleman with brown eyes and dark hair initially politely said, "Sure, have a seat." "Great," we thought. The two younger girls, with dismissive, unfriendly, and inhospitable looks, changed our story to say it was busy and asked if we had a reservation. Ultimately, we just wanted a cup of tea, and they agreed to let us sit down, but with the aftertaste of the twisted faces and unfriendly attitude, we simply left. That's no way to treat customers, first and last time 👍🏼.

We ate outside by the water. The food was good, but not exceptional. The atmosphere and service, however, were. It's so nice when the staff enjoy their work and nothing seems too much trouble. We enjoyed our meal and drinks.

Delicious beers on tap (from BrouwVrouw) and a real burger that's really filling. We've been several times, and it won't be the last. We'll be back for the attentive and cheerful service, the good food, the view, and the beer!

This restaurant has a fantastic location. Really nice view and ambiance. I am not a fan of Dutch bread and sandwich kind of lunch but I was hungry and what I got was actually quite good. Still find it overall expensive to pay 12 euro for a bit of bread with something but the restaurant is not much more expensive than others. All and all, a good choice for a quick bite.

Very friendly service, a small menu selection, and a moderate selection of beers. The interior is nicely decorated, but more suited to smaller guests; there's more space outside when the weather is nice. The food was decent, and the price-performance ratio was OK. I would go here again, as it was very pleasant overall.

A lovely spot in the city, but a bit faded in its former glory as a "skippers' cafe." Regulars no longer sit there, as inside there are only dining tables and no bar stools like before. The old-fashioned atmosphere is therefore missing. The focus is now more on being a restaurant and less on being a pub (which is no longer profitable); as a result, it's far too crowded for the limited space, and everything looks very cluttered and chaotic. Especially inside, the bar area is a mess of dirty dishes. The staff seemed a bit disinterested. Outdoor seating is great, though, under the heater and by the gas fireplaces.

A prime location in Enkhuizen where you can relax on the terrace in good weather and enjoy a delicious lunch. To top it all off, they sell delicious craft beers from their own brewery.

Two coffees, two apple pies with whipped cream. If you get two apple pies first, you have to ask where the coffee is. That's a lot of money.

The best fish soup ever🍤 ❤️ 🍤 A small barge café with a delicious menu. While cycling, I stopped for a drink and lunch. What a surprise when the soup arrived. The fish soup was full of flavor, deliciously creamy, and very filling. Highly recommended. The brewer also has an extensive beer menu.

Best Hamburger in town with a super great view on Brandaris for free. The special beer was super. Tasted as it should and was served special as well. We loved all of it!

A very nice location, with seating very close to the canal. The food and drinks arrived quite quickly, and upon request, they even spontaneously changed an extra item for the meal. The dinner menu is manageable, but there's something for everyone. Very good value for money.

On a beautiful summer Saturday evening, you might expect it to take a little longer for your food to arrive. However, the staff did their best to get the orders to the table. Overall, it was good. However, the bench by the water isn't ideal; you sit too far back and too high in front of the table for an ideal eating position.

You can sit there fantastically by the harbor. And the food and service are top-notch. Always cozy, even under the umbrella in the rain.

We come here once a year. Every time it's fun, nice people, very nice staff, a lovely owner, ice cold beer, beautiful view of the Drommedaris and, not unimportant, incredibly delicious food. A definite recommendation ❤️🍻🥩 We had a fantastic meal at a fair price. The restaurant's location at the historic city gate is beautiful – especially outside, you have a lovely view. Inside, the restaurant is rustic and very cozy. We ate the rib-eye steak, the burger, and the wrap. The rib-eye steak, in particular, impressed with the excellent quality of the meat and was perfectly grilled and seasoned. If you like a snack as a nightcap, you shouldn't miss the local Enkhuizen herbal bitters – very mild and delicious. The owner herself lived there and has been running the restaurant for 48 years. Her passion was truly palpable. A few younger waiters still have a bit to learn – but everything was fine. A definite recommendation!!

The restaurant really has a beautiful location! Yesterday we only had drinks and a small appetizer. The limoncello spritz was mediocre. Tonight we had fish and chips and a Mexican wrap. The portion of fish and chips was very small, but unfortunately too expensive. The wrap was okay, but not good. It's a shame when the price doesn't match up!

Nice to sit by the water! But the Aperol Spritz is the worst I've ever had. There were more ice cubes in the glass than anything else. And that for €8. Certainly not again.

The location was very nice, and we were also satisfied with the food. The service could have been improved. The food was served without cutlery, which we then had to get ourselves.

Next to the drawbridge in front of the impressive Dromedaris tower is a long fortified terrace, where the youthful waiters, wearing striking red suspenders, zip around on a Segway, carrying a full tray in one hand! Truly an achievement. The menu contains an extensive range of tapas. Update May 2025. This time we used the menu and of course we tasted the in-house brewer's anniversary beer: 't Sprieuwtje. Excellent. I would also like to give that qualification to the spareribs. Cooked until buttery soft. Fell off the bone. That's how it should be. This time too, compliments to the red-breasted service.

Great location. Reservation well in advance, we receive a call 1 hour in advance that 11 people have not been taken into account. We were able to sit outside under the parasol in the bad weather. Then imagine coming in somewhere with 11 people on a Saturday evening. Big disappointment, 1 star.

Terras met geweldige ligging. Kwaliteit eten prima. De bediening is te druk waardoor ze 1 voorgerecht waren vergeten. Daarna anderhalf gewacht op het hoofdgerecht. Was kennelijk niet doorgekomen. Moest toen snel klaargemaakt worden. Raar dat ze dat zelf niet in de gaten hebben!

The restaurant is very cozy, you can sit outside in the sun right by the water. The staff is very nice. Dogs in particular are greeted very friendly with a blanket, water bowl, treats and cuddles. We just enjoyed a coffee and cake in the sun. It was very tasty.

My favorite restaurant in Enkhuizen! Amazing view by the canal and the Drommedaris; outstanding menu and kitchen. It's always a treat to go to t'Ankertje.

Op zich een leuk eetcafé, maar men is niet voorbereid op grotere gezelschappen. Wij hadden gereserveerd 10 volwassenen en 3 kinderen, maar aanvankelijk werd er gemeld dat we niet aan één tafel konden zitten. Gelukkig werd daar uiteindelijk toch een mouw aan gepast. Het duurde wel lang voordat we uiteindelijk eten kregen.

A great place for Friday afternoon drinks. Good wine and beer list. With a meter of beer also a beautiful T-shirt. Highly recommended.

We hadden gereserveerd voor 10 volwassenen en 3 kinderen. We waren een half uur te vroeg en gingen een rondje lopen, dat was geen probleem. We kwamen terug en gingen op het buitenterras een drankje bestellen. Hierna kwam een medewerker naar ons toe met de mededeling dat we niet aan 1 tafel konden zitten omdat onze groep te groot was. We waren hier niet echt blij mee. Later kwam de eigenaar die aangaf dat hij aan het meten was geweest en dat het wel kon. Wij gingen naar binnen en bestelden. Het duurde ruim een uur voordat het voorgerecht kwam. Hierna duurde het opnieuw een uur voordat we eindelijk het hoofdgerecht kregen. Toen we dat kregen zijn het gezin met de kleine kinderen weggegaan, het had te lang geduurd, de kids waren het zat. Het eten konden ze in een doggybag meenemen naar huis. De eigenaar was van goede wil, maar het was organisatorisch een redelijke puinhoop. Je kunt hier alleen eten als je met 2 personen bent en heeeel veel tijd hebt.

We had made a reservation for a group, but when we arrived they said they had no place for us inside while it was cold outside. When we went to look at other restaurants in the area, they changed their minds and there was room after all. The staff was very friendly, but we ended up waiting more than two hours for our food, which was a big disappointment and really not practical with children. The food was fine, but having to wait so long is really not ok.

What an authentic atmosphere and great service. The apple pie was just ready and still nice and warm. And last but not least, an attractive and neat toilet (unfortunately no photo of it)

A must-see place. Located in a charming coastal village, this restaurant with its marine decoration is very typical, you don't know where to look, there are so many details. The welcome is very warm, they brew their own beers which are excellent. The cuisine is simple, but very efficient with good products. Unmissable address.

Top experience: everything was just right, the decor, the acoustics, the food, the service and last but not least, the music. The tapas board seems obligatory and of course it is a bit, but the quality of all parts is really good. Right down to the temperature of the cheese, ham and chorizo. The pleasant interaction with the staff completes it completely. Recommended!

Locatie is een pluspunt, je kunt aan het water zitten wat vooral op een zonnige dag erg leuk is. Helaas valt het eten flink tegen. We hadden een mix van koude en warme borrelhappen, maar de kwaliteit was echt teleurstellend (zeker gezien de prijzen). Terwijl dit opzich geen ingewikkelde gerechten zijn. Ook de hoofdgerechten waren niet bijzonder. Het lijkt alsof er weinig zorg of aandacht in de gerechten wordt gestoken en dat is jammer. Voor een drankje is dit een ok plek, maar als je lekker wilt eten zijn er genoeg betere en gezelligere restaurants in de buurt waar je meer waar voor je geld krijgt.

Nice place to have drinks, beers and food in Hoorn. Staff is very friendly. Unfortunately I have not had the time to taste all the home-brewed beers, as they are not very special specialty beers. But always fun to try out local beer!

2 years ago we had a good and enjoyable lunch here by the water in the sun. Yesterday we decided to have lunch here again. Unfortunately closed until Friday. Too bad, but understandable. Next time we will come on the weekend.

Gutes Restaurant in toller Lage. Vielfältige (aber nicht überfrachtete) Auswahl an Speisen. Wir hatten Fish & Chips und waren sehr zufrieden.

Unfortunately the food was not tasty. The spareribs seemed reheated (in the microwave or in plastic) and the hamburger was also disappointing. Too bad, because the place is good and the staff is friendly.

Really warm welcome, good food and really good beer! Don't hesitate to make a stop here! I was here for à business trip and found anice place where to get nice afterwork atmosphere.
