't Brinkje in Wijk 1 Binnenstad

I have enjoyed good food and drinks here in the past during the book markets. I wonder why they have always been closed during the book market in recent years? Don't they want to make money?

After 12 years as a loyal weekly customer, I am pulling the plug. The food is too expensive and has become too bad. I could write a whole book about it. 10 euros for a kapsalon and a container that is, by luck, half full. Fries that are fried way too hard, not answering the phone so I can pass on what I forgot to mention in the delivery comments, and much more. This is really no longer the Brinkje we are used to from them. It is fine that prices are going up, I understand that. But the fact that you get less on top of that doesn't sit well with me. 5 years ago a kapsalon was 6 euros, now it's 10 and less full. I think it's a real shame! We have been watching this for a while now, but unfortunately, it is only getting worse. So for re-fried fries and overpriced food: this is the place to be! Re-fried fries are prohibited in the hospitality industry, by the way.

Very tasty food. Served quickly. The staff was very friendly. Everything was beautifully decorated, and on a sunny day, the terrace is also very nice and inviting.

Ordered via Thuisbezorgd, food was never canceled (express?) so we can never give a review via Thuisbezorgd via email. So that's it. First time ordering here, and also the last time. Order your large boxes, you will receive small ones. Taste was OK, but severely cooled. This was partly due to the delivery person. 9 year old daughter wanted to open the door (she normally doesn't dare to do this) In broken Dutch, the delivery person starts discussing our WIFI password. My daughter stands in the hallway terrified and doesn't dare anymore. After I intervened, it turned out that he wanted my WIFI password so he could see where the next address was. I didn't care. I should just help him show the way? After he spent a few minutes looking for an address on his phone, I closed the door. What is this weird unprofessional and intimidating thing at the door?

I accidentally entered the wrong address on Thuisbezorgd. They were waiting for me, and I found the door closed. So I called to ask if I needed to reorder. They finally delivered my food at no extra cost. Pure service. The food is fantastic. Highly recommended!

Super tasty food always. You get what you order. The only point of attention I find is to indicate what is in the salad and possibly give the customer the option of what does or does not want in the salad.

Excellent food, friendly service. It is not attractive inside, sitting outside on the terrace is more fun.

After a fun day and quite a bit of tasty special beer, the fries were very tasty just before time.
