I ordered a pork chop with fries and various snacks. I've been coming here for 21 years. The pork chop was excellent, well-breaded and crispy, and wonderfully tender on the inside, my compliments. The fries were also good; they're a new supplier, and have been for a while. Long fries, with shorter lengths and chunks, but they taste good and aren't as sparse as before. Keep up the good work, my friend.

Way too expensive for what you get. Monopoly on the pentagon. Would be good if another snack bar came next door.

This deserves 5 stars! We order here regularly, and the food is always top-notch. Only today something went wrong... I received the wrong order. It happens. They promptly called and the correct meal was delivered. Unfortunately, everything was cold... even though I was assured it would be hot. I would have preferred to wait a bit longer for a freshly prepared hot meal. Hopefully, the quality we've come to expect from you will be the same next time!

When I was 10, I said, "Dad, this is the best chip shop ever." Now I'm 35, and I'm always amazed by the amazing flavors and variety of the menu. No matter how busy it is, the staff are always super friendly. The deluxe chicken burger is amazing!!

Great snack bar with beautiful products and also gluten-free options! It is definitely worth having something to eat on site. Everything neatly in containers and bowls with cutlery. Neatly cared for and durable

Good snack bar with a wide selection. Many things that I don't find at the average snack bar. I'm a fan of the loaded fries truffle and parmesan and the tomato-mozzarella cheese soufflé. The size of the fries portions can vary greatly. There have been a few times where several people in the house ordered the same loaded fries, but one had significantly more than the other. It's never so little that I haven't been able to eat enough, but I think it's strange. Service is actually always fast. They have decorated it nicely for a snack bar. There is a customer toilet, which is very nice. A bit of a late update, but that amazing tomato-mozzarella cheese soufflé? They don't sell those anymore. Really a shame, I hope they will come back one day.

The quality of the fries has deteriorated considerably in the last six months, which is a shame. because it is a good cafeteria, clean and customer friendly. e.g., often small pieces of fries that are also caramelized. I understand that the quality of the potatoes has deteriorated due to harvest, but I do not notice this in other cafeterias.

Last Tuesday evening we had some fries at Van Gurp, via QR code which was not really easy, we spent 2 fries with mayonnaise and a croquette. Fast service, did not take long, but the fries were of such poor quality that I immediately said it was a pity that these fries have been baked for a second time. I pay a good price for fries, so I don't want hard, dark brown pieces in them!!

When we choose fast food, we often choose Paul van Gurp. Good fries/fries😉 and their dishes are also recommended. I must say that the portions are getting smaller. "In the past" if you ordered fries for 4 people you would have more than enough, but now it is better to order for 5 people if there are 4 of you. But hey, quality is also worth something.

Paul van Gurp has always been good. Tastiest fries and other snacks. (I personally think) Preference goes to the PvG at Colmschate.

Really delicious food. Although there was a major disruptive factor, I give 1 star for the lady with a brown ponytail who orders/barks at the younger staff. That's not how you treat your staff, all customers could hear this. This can be much friendlier.

It is and remains simply the best fries shop in Deventer. Since I was young, Paul v Gurp has never disappointed me. Even more importantly, the staff is very customer-friendly. Keep it up.

A few years ago the fries were much tastier. I notice that the fries have changed.

Picked up something for the first time today at Andriessenplein. Vega croquette fried almost black, frikandel special and bami disk excellent. At least half of the fries supplemented with twice-fried fries (leftovers). Not worth it and a waste of money (+ €20).

Andriessenplein: visited for the first time: Far too many overcooked fries, (so probably twice fried fries) vegetable croquette, almost black and hard fried. Clearly noticeable old grease. Never again Paul van Gurp for us. Shame!

Best cafeteria in Deventer and surroundings!

Fries not warm enough, you order normal fries but when you get home it turns out to be what they call small fries at other snack bars. In addition, the entire bottom of the container is covered with onions, the containers are not yet filled to the brim. Quality has deteriorated in recent months, and it seems as if major cuts need to be made.

Went last night. Bad, tasteless and lukewarm food. Little meat and tasteless fries. Price quality leaves much to be desired. Left the plate full and left 26 euros poorer and hungry.

Milkshake tasted very good. Ham sandwich with mustard sauce was very economical at €5.50 each... and had little taste.

Got a Colmschate burger yesterday and a big fries war. The taste was fine, as always. The price of the sauce is abnormally high. 3 euros extra for just the sauce. This means that a fries war costs 7.75.

What a stingy company you get fries for which you pay top price, super small bowl that won't fill you up!!!! Next time go to Johnny's again, at least you get value for your money!!!

Lekker eten met een mooie servering. Duurt wel heel lang voor je je eten hebt.

In de zomer haal ik hier graag een softijsje. Ik ga alleen naar plekken waar het softijs écht goed is en dat is hier het geval! De service laat wel echt te wensen over. Vaak maar 1 medewerker bij het ijs, ook als een mega lange rij staat. De andere medewerkers staan een beetje te hangen en durven je ook niet aan te kijken. Alsof ze je niet mogen helpen? Tempo mag ook wel paar tandjes omhoog als het druk is. Ook wordt er niet goed opgelet wie er aan de beurt is. Wij wachten altijd netjes in de rij en hoeven niet bij de schepijsvitrine te kijken. Andere mensen wel, en het is prima dat ze al gaan kijken als ze nog niet aan de beurt zijn. Dat scheelt ook tijd. Maar het is jammer dat zij dan eerst worden geholpen, soms zelfs als ik zeg dat wij aan de beurt waren!

Patat en snacks waren koud. Gebeld met hun, krijg het vergoed. Laat het nog horen, als ik er weer kom.

De lekkerste snackbar van Nederland. Qua sfeer 4 sterren, omdat ik een snackbar nou eenmaal niet het gezelligste restaurant vind om te eten. Maar dat is puur persoonlijk. Proef vooral de zelfgemaakte snacks eens.

Prima snackbar en vriendelijk personeel.

Kwalitatief een goed cafetaria. Ze maken ook eigen producten en alles smaakt prima. Je kunt er ook even gaan zitten, de tafeltjes zijn schoon. Zelf ben ik een liefhebber van een broodje frikandel speciaal en daar geven ze een groot puntbroodje, waar de hele frikandel in past. Ik vind zo'n broodje niet lekker, de verhouding tussen brood en snack is weg, en daarom bestel ik het hier eigenlijk nooit. Jammer dat mijn kritiek precies mijn lievelingsgerecht betreft.

Perfect!!! Gewoon zo als je moet verwachten van een snackbar...

Het is hier altijd goed, het personeel werkt als een geoliede machine.

Royale porties, vriendelijke personeel. Toevallig tegen gekomen tijdens dagje Deventer, maar was een fijne snackbar!

Wat duurder maar uitstekend kwaliteit, zeer vriendelijk personeel. Aanrader. En gaat er iets fout dan wordt al wat mogelijk gedaan om het te herstellen.

Beste fastfood in de hele wereld

Wat je van een cafetaria mag verwachten, niet meer, niet minder. Ze hanteren zeer vroege sluitingstijden.

Afgelopen weekend met de familie genoten van heerlijke verse patat met snacks! Ondanks de Sinterklaas drukte konden we gewoon telefonisch bestellen én binnen 30 minuten onze bestelling ophalen. Erg vriendelijk personeel!

Viel ons tegen, het eten stond wel snel op tafel, maar echt warm vonden we het niet. Vloer ook niet schoon.

Prima patatzaak je wordt en goed en vriendelijk geholpen. Helaas is het de laatste twee keer met de bestelling fout gegaan. (Het is wel netjes opgelost) wat ook op valt is dat ze de laatste tijd moeilijk te bereiken zijn via de telefoon. Vandaar de 4 sterren en geen 5 wat ze wel waard zijn. Wat zeker aan te raden is is de Colmschate burger.

Mooie schone zaak met vlot personeel. Het aanbod is gevarieerd ook vegetarisch.

Ik ging daar niet op de koffie, maar mijn fietsslot was kapot. Super dat er gelijk hulp kwam. Ik ka er nog een keer heen voor een kop koffie.
