Very kind and friendly owners and coffee and food are good. There is lots of toys for the kids and especially small cars to ride. 100% recommend for nice atmosphere for toddlers!

I had a fantastic high tea here for my birthday. With two pregnant women and a child among the guests, it was a real godsend! I added an extra guest last minute, and luckily that wasn't a problem. ^^ Super friendly staff, delicious food, and lovely toys for all ages! Fantastic!

We enjoy the delicious soto soup every time. As an Indo, I could eat this every day, so I always order it when I'm here. We also love that we can let our two-year-old play while we eat in peace. Amazing food and friendly staff❤️ Definitely recommended!

I popped in here on spec for a delicious lunch, but I also celebrated my daughter's first birthday here. It was a blast! The staff is super friendly, the kids can play to their heart's content, and there's space to bring your own decorations and snacks for the little ones, and kids can really be kids! This will become a regular spot for both casual afternoons and birthdays! And it's a very reasonable price, too. And the brownies are phenomenal!

Celebrated my daughter's birthday here. The setup is really perfect for a children's party. All the children were playing happily while the parents were also having a nice chat with a good view of the little ones. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Also recommended for lunch on regular days. Have fun eating and playing.

2 weeks ago we celebrated our daughter's 6th birthday at 't Nestje. Where I got a closed door everywhere because I had ideas about the content, we were very welcome here and how! The introduction lived up to the name. A really warm nest. calm atmosphere, atmospheric lighting, child-friendly and the owners have a nice homely energy. During the preparation (which we parents can sometimes stress about and still have questions) they were reassuring and even provided a little mental support until the day itself haha. Food offering; healthy! and very nice, different from the standard fries at a party! We also had parents present at the party. The parents were well taken care of while the kids had a great time. I hope that many more people after us will be able to enjoy this beautiful place and hope to visit it myself for a breakfast/lunch/coffee moment.

Family café 't Nestje is highly recommended for young families, but actually fun for all ages. Parents can enjoy their drinks and delicious dishes without any worries while the children play, color or explore. The owners are always open to fun ideas and collaborations and, not unimportantly, are also very sociable and kind to the children who come by. Think of 't Nestje as a nice living room for people from Zoetermeer and far beyond.

What a wonderful afternoon I had at 't Nestje with my two granddaughters! From the moment we walked in we felt welcome. The café has a warm, homely atmosphere where both young and old feel comfortable. I ordered the soto soup and it was delicious! We will definitely come back here! A perfect place to enjoy good food and a nice atmosphere with the (grand)children.

We thought it would be a lot of fun, we specially adjusted my child's bedtime so that we could go there before closing time and when we got there there was a board that was a party from 1:30 PM so we couldn't drink. Too bad this isn't shown on the site. Will come back again to see if my son likes it!

Very nice place for young and old. We were able to organize a mini party here for our son. The owners have been open in all steps and have contributed to solutions. Especially when our group became extra small because I had not taken spring break into account. We will definitely come back!

We rented the room for my son's 1st birthday. We couldn't have imagined a better location. It is decorated so nicely and the kids could play with all the toys that are already there.

Last week we celebrated the joint birthday of two children (3 and 4) in the nest. Booked in advance and made some arrangements. Much is possible in consultation (think of bringing your own cake and hanging up decorations). Finally ordered pastries and coffee from the menu and everything was perfect. Bowls of fruit on the table for the children and eventually we also ordered toasted sandwiches and some Indian snacks. Friendly service and plenty of room for the many visiting children to play. The countless cars and toys ensure that the children have a great time while the parents have a nice chat. The house is also really great. We had a great day! Two points to take into account; When making a reservation we were asked to pay €50 in advance. This was then settled when paying. In addition, there is no alcohol on the menu.

What a relief it was to be with you! Immediately upon entering you feel welcome by the lovely couple/owners. My child can play happily and is always in sight, wherever you sit. The menu is surprising and extensive. You can go for the usual breakfast/lunch dishes, but also for Indonesian or Persian dishes. My Pesian Kebab sandwich was delicious! And for the children there is also plenty of choice in food and drinks. Happy to go home and we will definitely come back!!

Organized a baby shower for a friend here. It was certainly a nice place for this, they were always easily accessible via the app, and the price per person was accessible. On the other hand, we received far too little food and it also took too long for it to arrive.

We celebrated our daughter's 4th birthday at 't Nestje last Sunday. We had a great party with 25 adults and 10 children. The play area for the children is great. The children played and the adults had a nice chat and enjoyed all the goodies. The food was wonderfully arranged. With delicious sandwiches, waffles and snacks for the children. And the adults enjoyed Indian satay ajam, Persian bademjan and brownies. In addition, delicious coffee, tea, luxurious lattes and delicious chai. Contact with the owners is very pleasant. Super friendly and just really sincere. Like talking to family. Thanks for everything! Maybe I should make a reservation for 2026 to have my daughter's 5th birthday with you again ;)

Absolutely gorgeous morning spent here when the weather was freezing! Our 1 year old could wander around and play while we got to enjoy a lovely coffee. Food was fresh and delicious and the portions were very generous. The kiddie lunchbox is also perfect for the little ones! We hadn’t made a reservation and it was really busy but the owner went out of her way to cater for us. We will be making this a Sunday tradition - a massive thank you for a wonderful morning!

What a fantastic experience we had during the Boxing Day brunch at this beautiful location! The restaurant not only exudes warmth and coziness, but is also extremely child-friendly, which is a big plus for us. The food was delicious – carefully prepared and served with love. My son had a great time with the other children, so we as parents could really enjoy a relaxed and carefree meal. Very nice place with children! Because of how it is decorated, you are always close to your playing children! We did the Christmas brunch! Highly recommended. I have been coming here regularly with my children for years, there is a very nice atmosphere. The food is good, the service is good. Even when my baby was only 2 weeks old I came here so the eldest could play and I was helped so well. Breastfeeding is absolutely no problem and because we are all here with children, you can feel free to ask another parent to watch your child for a second while you go to the toilet or change your other child. We will probably continue to come here for years to come. I recommend it to everyone!

Very nice place to come with your child. The play area is in the middle, so you have a good view of your child wherever you sit. Very nice service and great service! We already liked coming here, but even more so after the Piets reading morning. You had to register and pay for this in advance. Unfortunately we were unable to attend due to illness. Went to the nest for the first time last Sunday, Piet breakfast. What fun that was! Very well organised, booking was easy, Piet was present, the children could play here as always and the breakfast buffet was well organized and delicious! I say next year again! And besides, I don't have a cup of coffee with children anywhere else anymore.

Reserved a few weeks ago for our mother and grandmother's 65th birthday. This would happen on November 24. I had to pay a total of €50 for reservation. Unfortunately, I was told yesterday that my nephew had been admitted to the Sophia Children's Hospital again, and my mother wanted to cancel lunch. I contacted this morning and explained the story. Asking if I would get the €50 back. I received the answer that they do not do refunds, to which I replied whether an exception could be made due to the circumstances and because this is force majeure. I was allowed to send a little bit for half because the business itself is now missing out on €500 in income. Tip for 't Nestje; mention somewhere on your site that reservations are not refundable, regardless of the reason. Personally, I find this ridiculous. If it is a day in advance, I understand. I cancel the reservation 11 days in advance. Never again for me.

As a childminder, I have already visited the litter several times, because that is what I call it, "visiting". Immediately upon entering, you receive a warm greeting and it is as if you are visiting friends, as if you have known each other for years. While I am enjoying a cup of tea, I watch my babysitter children playing sweetly with other children and the super fun toys that are there. And during a moment of rest they enjoy a bowl of fresh fruit that is also on the menu. In short, a nice outing for lots of fun and hospitality 🥰

T nest is the perfect place to be with the little ones. Relax for yourself as a parent, while the kids play. Sit comfortably while enjoying delicious food and drinks: breakfast, lunch or snacks. All this is kept running by super sweet and dedicated owners. I always feel like I'm coming home again here. The atmosphere is very nice and accessible, as I said: you quickly feel at home. For people who also find the business aspect important; they are not too expensive and at the same time the portions are great! Finally, the bonus points: they actively participate in the holidays such as Halloween/Sinterklaas, etc., and this is reflected in fun games or events such as a horror house during Halloween for the kids. A huge commitment if you ask me.

What a disappointment. After 30 minutes we were asked to leave. Otherwise the owner would have to send away a larger group and he didn't want that. Then we were asked not to write a bad review because the gentleman did not mean it that way. Stuffy atmosphere, dirty changing mat for the children, dirty floor and a pushy owner. Everyone has their own choice, we won't come here anymore.

Celebrated my son's second birthday in 't Nestje. Nice location, with a nice play area in the middle for kids. We decorated the location ourselves. Coffee and tea available for purchase. Coffee somewhat pricey. All in all it was a great day!

Made a reservation via Instagram on Thursday at 10 am for 3 adults and 2 little ones under 2. What a great location. Play area is in the middle for all ages, open space, well-organized. Very nice children's menu in price/quantity/offer. Delicious food and fantastic relaxed atmosphere. The toilet/changing room is very well equipped for children and there are also spare items. The Persian mix, Indonesian mix and Soto soup are completely approved by this Indian family 😉. It's also nice that there is a shop attached. We will definitely come back. And parking was also ideal. Free parking nearby (max. 3 hours with the blue disc. Greetings from Leiden, Capelle and Dordrecht.

We were informed that our 1 year old children were not allowed to drink water from their own bottles, we could then buy tap water for €1 in an open cup. My son can only drink from his own cup, so should I throw away the water in it and buy new tap water for €1? I understand that they don't want children to sit there all day and only eat their own sandwiches, but I think this is very strict for the young ones. Because in theory, wouldn't you be allowed to breastfeed your 1-year-old? Or a bottle of kv? I gave my son a few sips, but not with a good feeling.

Absolutely great! I always find it exciting to go somewhere for lunch with my baby, but here it is completely designed for kids. We eat something tasty, they play. Super cozy cafe, completely aimed at children but with excellent food and drinks for moms and dads (or other family). I had the Indian dish and it was really delicious! Service completely good, I had forgotten a drinking cup for my little one, but that was also taken into account in the restaurant and she was given her own sippy cup to drink from. I have loved coming here for years now! And I don't know any other place in the area like this where you, as parents or with friends and children, can enjoy a delicious meal/drink while your child is playing. Because the play area is exactly in the middle, you always have a feeling of overview and you can keep a close eye on your child. Further; the food here is always really tasty! No standard croquette sandwich or boring toasted sandwich (there is one for the children, because that is ideal), but surprising lunch dishes with Indonesian and Persian influences. Now in winter also delicious special drinks such as Dirty Chai Latte etc. The owner and staff are incredibly friendly and patient, always good at knowing how to maneuver through the toys and playing children. Fun things are also often organized there. For example, I once had a music breakfast with my son and my husband, it was great! In addition to all this, I have now celebrated the birthdays of our 3 sons twice together with two friends. Recommended! Especially with family and friends with many small children. The last time we opted for snacks and all-in drinks. I would never want to do anything else, because I could (for the most part) just sit with the guests and play with the children instead of running around as a hostess. Oh yes, which is also great; the shop. Very nice stuff and clothing for children. But also clothes for myself. Ideal shopping while your child plays. All in all; this is the place with children! Eetcafe 't Nestje feels like coming home. The children can play and make noise while you enjoy a delicious latte or a warming homemade Soto soup. You get the time to choose and to be there. I think the food is well presented, also in terms of price/quality ratio. This often makes it just that little bit extra festive for the children. The happy sandwich, for example, or the decorated waffle ♥️. In short, a cozy place to recharge. Even if you don't have kids with you, you can meet up there 🫶 We also had Easter breakfast there once and went out for dinner with the children once in the evening. That was definitely worth repeating for us😀.

Minus Prices of the products are not in proportion to the quality or quantity of what you get. Intuitively, 75% of the price is in the playroom that is made available (which is fun for the kids), but ±€4.50 for a mint tea for a small glass with 1 sprig of mint is not in proportion to the price. Celebrated my 1 year old son's birthday here. Good service, many options and very friendly hostess and gentleman. Thank you Patricia for all the care and service. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to have a children's party here. Also of course a nice kids and parent cafe to enjoy a cup of coffee while your toddler is playing.

We came here for breakfast at 10 am on the last Sunday of the month. We were immediately welcomed with a friendly smile and a delicious breakfast was made for us. Our little 2-year-old girl had a great time and had fun playing with the other kids. This is highly recommended and we will be back soon!!!

We celebrated our son's birthday party at 'Nestje', this was an all-in-1 experience for us, we rented this prime location and we were completely taken care of in every respect. All our friends and acquaintances were very pleased with the hospitality of the hostesses and the atmosphere. The drinks rounds were also great! In short, I recommend everyone to celebrate a possible children's party there, these great people are thoughtful and helpful, also just great fun and what I keep saying, we are completely unburdened!

I really had a wonderful baby shower at the litter! We were with a large group, but when we arrived everything was already neatly ready. Any dietary requirements were taken into account in advance and substitutes were offered. Even though there were other guests in the store, everyone was served at their beck and call. The savory round was delicious with Indonesian and Persian dishes. And then a round of (home-baked!!) sweets was also very tasty. We were also allowed to hang some streamers ourselves and a number of ladies brought their children with them. The children had their own child-friendly high tea and could play while the mothers could eat and enjoy undisturbed. I can recommend this to everyone!

Nice place to have lunch with your little kids

As a regular guest, I regularly come to 't Nestje with my daughter. Owner Patricia has thought of everything to make it a pleasant visit if you have a baby or young child. As a baby, my daughter crawled around, but now she really enjoys herself in the playhouse, on the bicycles and other toys. And there is a changing table with diapers. This makes going out a lot more relaxing. In terms of menu you can find tasty things, often with a Persian twist. The bademjan or satay sandwich is highly recommended for lunch, but you can also enjoy pastries (brownie, banana bread) here. And how nice that children have their own menu to choose from, ranging from small sweets to sandwiches, toasted sandwiches and waffles. 't Nestje also has a shop area with nice, original (children's) clothing and accessories from small entrepreneurs. Very tempting to stroll through there. The price for a new dress or pants may be slightly higher than at an average children's store, but you will have a handmade, original and high-quality item. 'T Nestje is a real asset to the Dorpsstraat. We would love to come again soon to eat and play. And to give Patricia a hug!

We celebrated my niece's party here. It was super well cared for! Delicious Indonesian snacks and Persian snacks. Each one is super tasty. Much better to celebrate here instead of at home, you will be completely taken care of. The guests were more than happy and so were we and received many compliments about the food and delicious coffee. During the party we were also tempted to shop in their concept store. Being able to buy nice children's clothing and children's accessories and also beautiful women's clothing for myself. What a win-win! We are in love! There should be more of this in the Netherlands!
