't Oelnbret Restaurant in Wijk 20 Dalen

Na een bezoek van oude buren moesten wij de innerlijke mens tegemoet komen. Deze werd ons aanbevolen dus hier naartoe gegaan. De kaart ziet er prima uit. Meer dan genoeg keuze. Dat maakt het niet makkelijk maar gelukkig kregen wij de tijd. Het terras is niet rookvrij, helaas ook niet achter het restaurant. Dat is een minpuntje. Het terras liep ook aardig vol. Een sandwich geitenkaas en Omelet ‘t Oelnbret. Meestal is een broodje geitenkaas wat karig belegd maar hier is niets over te zeggen. Wel jammer dat er niet wat van salade bij geserveerd wordt wat er wel bij de omelet bij zit. De extra boterham van de geitenkaas die niet belegd is, is eigenlijk overbodig. Het smaakte prima.

Staying at Centre Parcs where the food is not great. A short cycle away is this amazing restaurant. We chose the tasting menu had no idea what we were getting but each course was delicious. Really recommend this place.

Heerlijk gegeten (vis en mosselen). Bijzonder aardig bedienend personeel. Het nagerecht mochten we delen, kregen ieder ons eigen bord en bestek. Niet sn lof over dit restaurant....echt een aanrader!

Personeel wat niet de boel in de gaten hielt, carpaccio zo dun en met zo'n dikke laag truffel mayonaise dat die de smaak er aan moest geven, je zat gewoon truffel mayo te eten, terug laten gaan, tweede was wel iets beter maar nog steeds moest de truffel mayo de smaak maken. Vlees was zo taai dat je er met een scherp mes moeilijk door heen kwam. Tien min geprobeerd personeel te wenken om af te rekenen, op een gegeven moment er maar heen gelopen. Slecht.... nooit weer.

Already had a few great meals at restaurant 't Oelnbret, but now also used the catering at home. Super organized! After a beautiful sunny bike ride this was a bull's eye. The food was delivered on time and was great. Good penne with delicious truffle sauce, salmon steaks perfectly cooked, great lasagna and with it tasty fresh salads and sandwiches. Wij hebben hier uitstekend gegeten. Ik was hier in jaren niet meer geweest. Stijlvol ingericht met leuke zitjes, fijne stoelen. Wij begonnen met een oester en brood. Daarna a la carte gegeten. We kregen een mooie amuse, zelfgerookte zalm en een glaasje aspergesoep hoog op smaak. Als voorgerecht had ik de tonijn, heel goed bereid, mijn kinderen de steak tartaar en gebrande avocado, allen zeer tevreden. Hoofdgerecht had ik zeebaars met 2 mooie coquilles, kinderen entrecote en surf en turf, wederom alles goed van smaak. Crème brulee heerlijk, espresso met fijne bonbons. Al met al geslaagde avond. Pinot grigio heerlijk. Bediening was attent en vriendelijk.

7/3 grand tour en 28/3 hier gegeten. Wat een ongelofelijke fijne belevenis beide avonden. We werden hartelijk ontvangen, het restaurant straalt klasse uit. Er heerst een prettige sfeer,heel fijne stoelen, gezellige achtergrond muziek,personeel heel vriendelijk en attent. Dikke 10 En dan het eten...de foto's spreken voor zich. Een explosie van smaak (zelfs de oester ging zomaar naar binnen) Ook een dikke 10 voor de chef en zijn keukenbrigade. Een aanwinst voor de omgeving en we komen zeker terug.

Enjoyed an evening out with family. The restaurant exudes class and so did the food. We sat at a beautifully set round table (6 persons) where the most delicious dishes were served at a pleasant pace by a very friendly employee. We opted for the chef's menu...highly recommended. All dishes were prepared with care and love for the profession and were served on very beautiful tableware. So much flavor...an experience for most of us. Big 10 for everything, we will definitely come back.

Ik was nog nooit in Oelebret geweest omdat ik net in Dalen woon. Ik heb hier met het Nei Naoberschap gegeten. Het was overweldigend, fantastisch. De hapjes vooraf waren lekker en goed op temperatuur. Het voorgerecht wat uit verschillende koude vissoorten en vleessoorten bestond was luxe, zalm, garnalen, haring, kabeljauw noem het maar op,het was in een woord super lekker. Het hoofdgerecht was met twee soorten vlees, salade en friet met verschillende sauzen heerlijk en de koffie met de bonbons met bladgoud waren een sublieme afsluiting. De bediening was zeer alert je glas werd steeds bijgevuld als het leeg was met een drankje naar keus. Echt een tien voor de vriendelijke bediening. Het is echt een aanrader om hier met een klein of groot gezelschap te eten.

Samen met vrienden hier gegeten. We hadden heel wat bij te praten, maar dat was geen probleem voor de organisatie. we konden netzo lang blijven zitten als we wilden. Tussendoor lekker geluncht en de bediening was attent naar ons toe en kwam geregeld vragen of ze nog iets voor ons konden betekenen. Ook het eten was prima. Al met al top middag gehad

Dit was onze tweede bezoek in twee maanden: één keer kuch en één keer diner. Beide keren werden we vergeten, sterker, we moesten twee keer vragen na drie kwartier wachten waar onze tosti bleef, Het diner verliep hetzelfde: ons diner was op, die van onze vader (vis) kwam een half uur later.

Nice restaurant but price-quality ratio is out of balance

Had a nice meal because the food was good, but a reservation at 7 p.m. and the main course only at 9:30 p.m. is really not possible. Hardly any vegetables e.g. 2 small bowls of fries for 8 adults. Immediately asked for more fries, but that only came long after we had eaten out. The manager apologized for this and provided desserts on the house...but when we wanted to order some of them were already gone. Well, yes. All in all, not the experience we had hoped for. Too bad, because it put a damper on the evening.

We had dinner here on a Wednesday evening with 7 people, including 3 children. We had called in the afternoon to see if there was room in the evening and that 3 people, including 2 children, had to eat gluten-free and 1 person had a nut and peanut allergy. So we were not a very easy group with the food. But it was absolutely no problem according to the lady on the phone. Once we arrived in the evening at the restaurant, which looked very cozy outside, it was a bit different. We had a very young, inexperienced waiter. We were very friendly, but had to ask everything. I think he had to go back to the kitchen 6/7 to answer our questions. The children could choose between a cup of soup or a small piece of meat. The fries didn't work. Not very much choice. Could it possibly be added with potatoes? Ask again, but this was possible. We had to wait more than 1.5 hours for our food. Which was only a main course. The piece of meat was already gone, then the potatoes arrived. The soup went wrong in the kitchen. In the end it also came with one tiny sandwich. The amuse did not go well either. There was something on the spoon that we thought contained nuts. Not according to the waiter. The waiter was sent to the kitchen to inquire. And it turned out that it did contain nuts. I know that we have to pay close attention ourselves, but as a waiter, don't just say something. My husband chokes when he ingests nuts or traces of them. I would like to give advice to the restaurant: when such a group of guests comes in, put an experienced waiter on that table. And possibly have a novice waiter watch. That gives confidence to us as customers, but also to the new waiter. My husband went in after dinner to talk. He didn't really get the impression that the staff thought this should be different next time. The fraying was not cleared away either, and the empty plates remained in front of us. We had our cup of coffee somewhere else. Shame.

Good quality food and good presentation, keep it up. A full terrace and doing everything by heart unfortunately meant that there was almost 1.5 hours between the starter and main course. After an hour we reported it when we noticed that we were being overtaken by other guests: we forgot to report it and it was not noticed, which is a shame. Automation can help.

For an Easter weekend you would expect a little more crowds, which is a shame for this very beautiful and good restaurant. We made a reservation in advance and we were able to sit straight away at the spacious seats. The service was quick and we were immediately asked what we wanted to drink. Unfortunately, there was no drinks menu, so the wine list was presented from memory. Very neat. However, I am a beer drinker and after asking about beers, the beer menu was brought up, which is slightly less extensive than it seemed. We started with warm bread, followed by a very tasty double appetizer. The starter and main course were also very tasty, followed by Special Coffee (coffee with drinks) or a regular dessert. All in all we had a nice and pleasant evening. To be repeated.

Hier een kerstdiner gehad, de bediening was vlot, en vriendelijk, vonden alleen het vegetarische gerecht qua hoeveelheid aan de kleine kant, het had meer iets weg van een voorgerecht , nu ben ik een kleine eter, maar vond het zelfs minimaal, en ook qua aanvullingen een bakje patat en wat stoofpeertjes, patat kon wel worden bijbesteld De bruchetta s waren eigenlijk toastjes , dus niet te snijden.. Verder waren de andere gerechten , dus vlees en vis in orde en smakelijk. Het Desert was oké.

Wat een geweldige avond, nog nooit zo heerlijk gegeten in een restaurant met Kerst. Het was echt super en genieten nog na van de heerlijke avond.

Wij werden goed geholpen. Op onze vraag of er wat langere tijd mocht zitten tussen de gerechten in, is super aan voldaan. De sfeer is super en de prijs is prima. Wij komen zeker terug. Kan mij ook niet vinden in de negatieve review.

Prachtig en zeer sfeervol restaurant. Goede en vriendelijke bediening. Goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding. Zowel met kerst en buiten de kerst om gegeten en kwalitatief zetten ze culinair altijd uitermate goede gerechten op tafel. Verrassingsmenu is een aanrader.

Wat een geweldig restaurant. We hebben er nu voor de 2e keer gegeten en het was voortreffelijk. Het eten, de bediening, de sfeer, Top! We komen zeker weer een keer dineren.

Het was er koud, het eten smaakte nergens naar en het vlees was droog. De rekening was buiten proporties voor een diner voor 2 met alleen een broodplankje vooraf. Een (klein) glaasje port kostte 7 euro, in totaal waren we 90 euro kwijt. Een ervaring om snel te vergeten!

Erg vriendelijk personeel en leuke zaak. De portie van de tarte tatin van paddenstoel kon misschien wat groter. Een supplement van €6,5 voor 4 bijkomende kroketten lag wel wat aan de hoge kant.

Na 1,5 uur wachten ben ik met mijn familie maar weggegaan. Meerdere keren gevraagd of ze ons niet vergeten waren. Het was druk in de keuken werd er gezegd. Nadat er mensen wel waren bedient die later binnen kwamen zijn we maar weggegaan. Drankjes hoefden we niet te betalen. We gaan daar nooit meer terug!

Heerlijk gegeten, als je de menukaart leest loopt het water je al in de mond, heerlijk gegeten, 1 dag later en het water loopt mij weer in de mond! Mooi restaurant en heerlijk vertoeven! Aanrader!

Eten was erg lekker en je kunt er leuk zitten! Vooral de serveerster die er vandaag liep, deed het erg leuk. Komen zeker terug.

Op doorreis besloten we in Dalen te lunchen. In 't Oelnbret werden we prettig verrast door de prachtige locatie, het tuinterras, de vriendelijke bediening en niet geheel onbelangrijk, het heerlijke eten. Kortom een aanrader.

Erg luxe eten, de prijs was er ook naar. De bediening was uitermate vriendelijk maar erg traag (of hoort dat zo bij luxe eten?) vandaar dat we het toetje maar overgeslagen hebben om nog iets aan de avond te hebben.

Heerlijk gegeten, geweldige bediening en onze hond was van harte welkom!
