Fantastische plek, leuke bediening en het eten is heerlijk en veel keus. Echt waar voor je geld...ga zeker terug .bij mooi weer lekker aan het water..

Super delicious, the chef actually knows how to use spices! The dishes come in small portions so you have to set your expectations! They are like a combo of saucers used in tapa places and how you order at some Japanese/Asian restaurant - that is per round. The concept is unique, which we love to try! Waiting time was normal, didn’t have to wait for so long. Didn’t know this place existed at all, location is not that visible but the view is I believe nice if you sit in the terrace. The service was also good, we have been helped by two ladies who were nice and polite! Love that they were not pushy at all and very systematic with their process. Super calm and under control! One thing I noticed though, when entering, it smelled like an old man who hasn’t showered all day and has been wearing a badly dried clothing. Was not a good combi with delicious food, but I had a nice dinner so I forgot about it! By the way, if offered stokbrood and dip, it is not for free. Costs around €5. So not forget to try the Bastogne parfait!

The tasting was fantastic; there was a wide selection and everything was delicious! The staff were all so friendly, and it was lovely to relax on the terrace! It was a real treat and definitely worth repeating.

Wij hebben hier niet gegeten maar waren zaterdagavond laat op zoek naar een gezellig terras om nog een afzakkertje te halen. Binnen even gevraagd of dat mogelijk was : geen probleem ! Onze Irish Coffee heeft ons gesmaakt, aan het water en onder de luifel zaten we heerlijk droog. Vriendelijk personeel : als we weer eens in Alphen moeten zijn, gaan we er zeker een hapje eten. Van een groepje dat naar buiten kwam begrepen we dat ze heerlijk hadden gegeten 😀

We had a delicious meal at 't Oude Pakhuys. The service is super friendly and helpful and keeps a close eye on whether you still have something to drink and whether you are ready for the next round. The food is really good quality and there is enough choice to try a lot of tasty things. The building is very attractive, although the entrance is somewhat hidden, inside it is a beautiful warehouse. It really lives up to its name! Highly recommended!

A very nice concept, tasting. You can choose from various dishes in 5 courses. You can choose 2 options per course, so you can taste many dishes if you also share. You can also have 1 side dish during each course. There was also a choice of a small special menu yesterday. It was cozy and delicious. Keep in mind that you have to climb some stairs. It is not known whether you can also enter with a wheelchair.

Delicious tapas, well flavored and decent portions. Nothing is too crazy for the staff, you will be pampered, even as a larger group.

Beautiful terrace without evening sun, but lovely on the water. Here you can eat a la carte or take a tasting, in the style of la Cubanita: 5 rounds with 2 smaller dishes and side dishes. Unfortunately, I found the quality of the food to be really substandard. Very simple dishes without love or anything special. For example, the fried salmon was just a small salmon steak with a spoonful of sauce on top. Fine in itself, but not for this price. The service was good, attentive and friendly staff.

We had a nice meal at 't Oude Pakhuys with eight adults and a two-year-old child. I had reserved a table, we had the choice of sitting inside or outside. It was a lovely summer evening, so we chose outside. We did the tasting menu, in five rounds with two dishes each. It was all tasty and sufficient. We found the service to be service-oriented and attentive, with special attention to the expectant mother in our party. We can definitely recommend 't Oude Pakhuys!

We eat here regularly, mainly because of the relaxed atmosphere and the time you have to catch up with your friends. The menu consists of 5 rounds, which will keep you busy for a while. Allergies are also taken into account. We always leave here happy. The food is not cheap, but always good. Reservations are usually necessary and well in advance. They are popular and rightly so!

What a mockery this tent. The boss (or manager) is acting like a bad guy...terribly irritating. If I ask for another pepper mill, he will explain to me that I have to turn clockwise, bizarre to assume that I don't understand that, and not bring another pepper mill. Furthermore, my husband gets a steak well done even though he ordered rare... the chef comes to the table to say sorry that it was a little bit overcooked... and the entire tent could hear that. Very uncomfortable, it seemed like we were whiners. They did make up for it by offering a free drink, but as far as we were concerned it was a towel for the bleeding... When you see what everything costs... disproportionate!!

At 't Oude Pakhuys you can enjoy more than just good food. This concept of a tasting is really perfect. There will always be enough choice for everyone! The portions are just right, it may seem small at the first round, but it is really just right. I am a big eater and often three courses are not enough. At t' Oude Pakhuys I skipped 1 item from the last round because I was packed! The quality of the food is very good, especially the meat dishes are of high quality and prepared perfectly. So you can clearly enjoy delicious food here, highly recommended!

This restaurant is one of the best hidden gems in Alphen aan de Rijn. In a beautiful old building on the Rhine, almost impossible to find in a small dead-end street to the right of the bridge keeper's house of the Alphense Bridge. This old warehouse still exudes the atmosphere of the time when barges unloaded their cargo at the quay. You can almost feel the hustle and bustle of yesteryear. A very cozy interior has been chosen, which creates a cozy and intimate atmosphere while dining. We mainly come here because we love the delicious small dishes and the tasting concept that they use here. A total of 5 rounds with 2 choices each. And almost everything is equally tasty and varied. Whichever dish you choose, it will be tasty and of very good quality. But especially in manageable portions so that you always have time for fun in between. We like that. And at the end of the evening you have eaten more than enough. The staff has responded well to this. They keep a perfect eye on which round you are ready for, don't make you wait long if you want the next course and even though they sometimes forget something (fortunately they also make the occasional mistake) they solve it neatly and kindly. At the same time they are alert and fast. We had a birthday boy in our group, and they seamlessly conjured up some light fireworks somewhere with the desserts to quickly give that fact some extra attention, without us asking for it.
