Today we had a very disappointing experience. We had to wait 40 minutes for a sandwich, even though the terrace was only occupied by about eight tables. We weren't helped until 15 minutes later, and the service seemed chaotic, inexperienced, and disinterested. For my roommate (vegan, with allergies, and a vegetarian), there was absolutely no alternative available. The staff said they would look into what was available, but after 25 minutes, we were told they couldn't offer anything. No one seemed to know exactly what was on the menu or what the ingredients were. When the food finally arrived, it was mediocre – definitely not worth the long wait. We even ended up going to the döner restaurant because my table companion couldn't eat anything there. All in all, a chaotic, unfriendly, and disappointing experience. It's a shame, because the location had potential, but the service and food left a lot to be desired.

We were here on October 3rd as a group of eight women – it was a really nice evening! 🍸 The prices are totally fair, the drinks are delicious, and the restrooms are absolutely fine (which isn't always the case 😅). The DJ didn't take requests, but he still mixed things up quite well. It was pretty empty (it was a public holiday in Leiden), so the atmosphere was a bit subdued – but we had plenty of space to dance and felt comfortable the whole time. 💃 Overall, a nice place; we would definitely come back!

This morning an apple pie with whipped cream and a cappuccino. The price of the apple pie with whipped cream was very reasonably priced and delicious.

We ordered nachos. It was literally a bowl of nachos with slices of cheese on top (it took a bit of searching) and two sauces on the side. Nothing special at all, and for the price, it was almost outrageous. The service was good, though; they were friendly and saw we had a dog and immediately brought her a bowl of water.

My friend and I stayed at a hotel near this cafe, and it was super fun. Employee Jim was very friendly, truly excellent, hence the 5 stars.

Full sun, lovely on the terrace. Sauvignon blanc only in 100 ml bottle, fine but if You have to Wait so long for bittergarnituur then both your beer and your wine are warm. Vague service. Bittergarnituur not cooked hot enough so extra greasy and not really cooked properly. No napkins, no ice. Next time we will walk on.

Festive atmosphere, friendly staff and nice dance music with the dance classics. Excellent location to celebrate a party, for my birthday.

On 17-11-2024 we were riding a challenging footbike tour from 's-Gravezande to Zandvoort and back, some 113 kilometers. It was chilly weather with heavy winds and rain, foam heads at sea. While entering Noorwijk, we were hit by a severe hailstorm. Luckily there was Restaurant 't Zeepaardje where the owner saw us suffering from the heavy weather and invites us in with 4 Footbikes and 1 mountainbike. "No worries about any dirt, you are welcome !". Most friendly welcome ever, great food and service, highly recommended !

The food was very good, we loved it and will be vacationing there again next year.

Very woman-unfriendly tent! Watched a European Championship match here with six ladies. During the match we were bothered by a “regular guest”. Physically and verbally threatened by this man. Then the owner gives us a warning that if we do anything again he will kick us out. The “regular guest” had complained about us bothering him. It was impossible to discuss the fact that we were being harassed. Fortunately, other guests supported us. But I hope this regular's daughters don't ever get harassed like this by a man like their father.

Had a drink and was lovely to sit on the terrace. Service was fast and very neat, payment was also well organized, we all paid separately.

Vriendjes politiek speelt hier. Een stamgast valt ons als vrouwelijke toeristen lastig waarop de leidinggevende ons vrouw onvriendelijk behandeld.

Gezellig avondje voetbal kijken...tenminste dat was het idee met 6 meiden uit Limburg. Bij binnenkomst meteen veel gezelschap van een man, maar gezien de zatheid van deze meneer probeer je daar even doorheen te kijken en te sussen. Beetje aardig doen en vervolgens links laten liggen. Wanneer vervelend gedrag toeneemt , persoonlijke ruimtes weg zijn en wij onze grenzen aangeven wordt hij verbaal agressief en zegt hij letterlijk " in ga zorgen dat jullie eruit gezet worden " Maar zo gezegd zo gedaan, deze vervelende meneer dient een klacht over ons in...onterecht Maar wordt wel meteen geloofd en wij worden aangesproken. En op welke toon.... "Ik krijg klachten over jullie , hou ik niet van dus bij de volgende vliegen jullie eruit " Hoe onrechtvaardig? We hebben niks gedaan Avond naar de *****, veel boosheid en onbegrip en wanneer we t gesprek aangaan merk je dat de kant al gekozen is.. Geen centen meer van onze beurs Erg jammer dit Vast een leuk café voor vaste klanten maar toeristen loop lekker voorbij. !!! Great 't zeepaardje, nice ambiance, delicious coffee + cake......and you can safely park your bicycle inside.

Had a nice drink in Noordwijk. The terrace was full, the girl serving was busy. At one point she received help from a very helpful young man. A bit unprofessional, order by order was processed, but the friendliness and helpfulness left us with a very happy feeling.

If you have someone to go with, I recommend it 100% 💃🕺

As cyclists we come here on Sunday morning or on Boxing Day. Bicycles are allowed inside, luckily so are we. Cozy, good hot chocolate and always a well-intentioned joke.

8 jaar geleden regende het rond sluitingstijd, dus bracht Peter me thuis. (Of hij wist niet zeker of ik veilig thuis kon komen?) Nu herkent hij me nog steeds als ik een avondje op stap ga en weet hij wanneer ik jarig ben. Discotheek met nostalgische waarde en waar het barpersoneel je 7 jaar jonger schat. Dat is een mooi avondje uit!

Paar keer hier uit geweest, altijd wel gezellig alleen is het takke druk binnen en bloed heet. Verder moeten jullie echt niet in glas schenken aangezien de hele vloer eronder zit. Maar buiten dat is het wel lache.

Toller Laden, sehr aufmerksame Mitarbeiter. Unser Hund bekam sofort Wasser. Aber günstig ist snders. Trotzdem gehen wir wieder hin.

Klasse Service, freundliche Mitarbeiter. Preislich absolut angemessen.

Gastvrij en goed geholpen. Als we weer in Noordwijk zijn, komen we zeker weer hier.

Gezellige bar/café waar je ook kunt dansen. Interieur is nog hetzelfde als in de jaren 80. Veel jonge lui. Prijzen goed.

Na bezoek theater wilden we nog iets gaan drinken. Dit viel erg tegen. Terras buiten was verwarmd, maar het tochtte goed door. Binnen was er echter zoveel herrie (muziek op volume 10) dat we toch voor het terras hadden gekozen. Voor 2 drankjes moesten we ruim 10 euro betalen. Beetje boevenprijzen. De horeca maakt zichzelf Zo kapot.

Elke jaar komen we wel een keer in ‘t Zeepaardje. En elk jaar is de bediening een probleem. Oké vroeg in het jaar prachtig mooi weer, maar hier was het ‘t Zeepaardje NIET op ingesteld. Alles moet nog op een papiertje worden opgeschreven, da’s niet meer van deze tijd. Waardoor er bestellingen misliepen. Voor de lunch was geen mogelijkheid, 3 kwartier tot een uur wachttijd. Aan het personeel (wat er liep) lag het niet, zij bleef vriendelijk. Jammer ..

We were stranded in an absolute downpour on our bike ride. We were made so welcome by the staff here. They brought us blankets, switched the patio heaters on full and made the finest hot chocs. The simplest things are often the most important and service like this deserves 5 stars every time. Thank you.
