We had a delicious meal! We were able to get in without a reservation; it was a Saturday evening. The service could have been better; we had to wait a very long time for each course. Here are some of our favorites: Jackfruit rendang, truffle fries, butter chicken, Bastogne parfait, and the brownie with ice cream!

Very friendly. Delicious snacks! Clean and well-maintained. Professional restrooms. NB. We will definitely be back.

There were three of us and we each ordered five dishes. It was incredibly delicious. The food arrived quickly, and the staff tried their best to explain the ordering process to us. The service was very friendly. We highly recommend the steak tartare, bruschetta, cream of tomato soup, carpaccio, apple pie, and the pornstar martini dessert.

I had dinner earlier in the evening and everything was to my liking. This time I went for lunch, but was unfortunately a bit disappointed.

Today (10/8/2025) from around 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM (hence the price), the four of us enjoyed ourselves. We enjoyed the food and company. Friendly and helpful service in a pleasant spot by the water.

Addition: After our sudden bad experience at 't Zusje in November 2024, we were given a second chance at 't Zusje's invitation: we had a fantastic afternoon, with delicious dishes and great service. It's great that the food and service are back to their old self. We will definitely be back! We had lunch at 't Zusje in November 2024. Unfortunately, it wasn't a positive experience: - It was freezing cold in the restaurant. After requesting it twice, the heating was turned on, but the cold didn't dissipate quickly, so it remained freezing even afterward. - Because of the lunch concept of serving all dishes simultaneously, you either have to cram everything down within a few minutes (fast food concept 😬) or settle for eating half the dishes cold. - They forgot the bread basket with dip. After I pointed this out, they brought the desserts first and then offered to bring the bread basket. We refused desserts and told them we wouldn't be having them. They then brought us bread, and after we finished it, dessert arrived. - My son had chosen pizza from the children's menu, among other things. It turned out to be a piccolini! Come on, guys, this is just not right! If we had known, he would have chosen a different dish. How dare you offer this to customers and charge so much for it? Surely you can do so much better, or is this the standard these days? The waiter did his best after our feedback and offered a drink at the restaurant's expense. Despite this, we won't be coming back. The price doesn't match the quality you provide. Such a shame.

The food was absolutely delicious! The service was initially pleasant and cheerful. Only towards the end of the evening, when we ordered cocktails, was an extra vodka shot pushed on us (it wasn't clearly stated that it was being taken, but we can overlook that). The waiters kept coming back to try and push more alcohol and pressure us to drink more. As a result, a guest at another table fell asleep at the table and had to be carried home, which suddenly caught everyone in the restaurant, including the manager. This forced us to watch the whole thing because we couldn't pay. Once the guest had safely left (after receiving a glass of water on the house), the waiters returned to brag about how high the bill for that guest's table was. After that, the waiters came to our table, still laughing, and we were finally able to pay. This certainly didn't improve the atmosphere (which had already become somewhat grim due to the drunken guest). The service seems primarily focused on your money and pressures you to drink more and more alcohol. However, this was only about the drink service; the food service was very professional. Otherwise, the food was good value for money and the selection was excellent!

I had to wait a very long time for each round (30-40 minutes). After 2.5 hours, I could only order 4 rounds (of 2 small dishes). The staff is constantly asking if you'd like another drink. If I want to drink one night, I'll go to the pub... I'll go to a restaurant to eat!

My friend and I both got food poisoning, called multiple times and were supposed to call me back. They never did. We sat there for over 3 hours, because they just wouldn't take the order to the kitchen. Not friendly.

My girlfriend and I ate here and both got bad food poisoning. We were forced to book extra nights at the hotel because we couldn't do anything but throw up all morning and afternoon. My girlfriend contacted you about this and was promised that we would be called back, but that still hasn't happened. Very disappointing and poor service from the staff.

The food tastes great, but unfortunately, you have to wait about 40-50 minutes for two bites. Unfortunately, I was still hungry after hours.

We had reserved a table well in advance. We were brought there properly. After waiting for more than half an hour, we still hadn't seen anyone. No drink, no order, nothing. In the end we left without eating. Very sad that Zusje...

Super fun concept, the food is fine and tasty, service is great and very friendly, you will not lack anything. The atmosphere is thick in order, very neat everything. The food was okay, it wasn't like the other branches of 't zuster. Too noisy around us with people who can't control their 3 children. If you can jump on the couch at home, you don't have to do that in a restaurant

Been there a few times already, every time the food was delicious. When the weather is nice you can eat outside. The service is sometimes a bit understaffed (national chronic shortage of catering staff, so not their fault), but they do their best to make everything run smoothly. It can be a bit noisy in the restaurant, which can be a bit TOO noisy for someone with hearing aids, but when we ask if we can sit in a quieter corner, they are not difficult at all.

Went to eat at 't zuster for the first time. The all you can eat concept is not for us because we don't eat as much as others. We heard that you could also choose per course and we liked that. Unfortunately this was no longer possible so now we just ordered a few dishes. We chose five pp. Not very smart that we had to order all five at the same time (!) because everything cools down quickly. As a result, two dishes were warm, one lukewarm/warm and two lukewarm/cold. The food was really good, but we won't be back because I had to eat it quickly otherwise the last two dishes would have been really cold. I couldn't even finish these five dishes so enjoying life would also mean five dishes and then it would be too expensive. Too bad otherwise I would definitely have come back. That's why three stars, because the food and staff were good.

What a nice welcome by Robin our hostess, an asset to t Zusje. We had a very pleasant evening. Carl also such a nice cheerful boy. Robin and Carl toppers, the service and atmosphere make the difference. I would give them a raise. Food very tasty. Had a top evening. Of course also a feather for the rest of the team.

Tonight I ate at 't Zusje again. It all took a very long time even though it wasn't full at all. I forgot a dish twice, after I reported it the second time it was only half cold because I think they didn't know which table it was for. Sometimes more than half an hour between rounds. I was inside from 5:30 to 20:15 and only had 4 rounds and then I think €42 without drinks is really a lot! Then we had to leave because we had our son with us. At other branches of 't Zusje much better experiences than here in Roermond. Seems like they are short of staff. Too bad because the concept is great!

For the price (€42 without drinks) I thought the food was not well balanced. The tomato soup way too salty. The smoked salmon was way too salty and the sauce too spicy. The dishes often have a twist, but not always for the better.

Unfortunately not very satisfied with this restaurant tonight. After almost 2 hours we had only had 1 lap. The children had ordered kibbeling and a scoop of ice cream in the 1st round. Kibbeling was 1 piece, ice cream 1 scoop. The 1st round was missing 2 ordered snacks. Only after 2 hours did round 2 come, food lukewarm and 1 wrong snack. In the meantime, I spent 1.5 hours looking at empty glasses because I couldn't attract attention to order drinks. After the 2nd round we indicated that we wanted to leave, which was handled nicely by not charging for unlimited food. Price is not in proportion to the snacks or the inability to have more than 1 snack per >1 hour.

Very nicely decorated restaurant, spread over two floors. The decoration of this restaurant is unique and has a bit of a classic, vintage style. You can order two dishes per round (unlimited until 10 p.m.). The dishes are very different. One is tastier than the other. It is regularly fully booked, so reservations are a must. Unfortunately, with this crowd, there is little space between the tables and their seats, so some guests sit very close together. Still, we thoroughly enjoyed the various dishes and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Today we ate again at 't Zusje in Roermond. We do that regularly, so time for a review. Once again it was well taken care of! We were warmly welcomed by a friendly lady. She took us to our table. Here hostess Iris took over. Also a very friendly girl. She explained the concept again, because one person had not been to 't Zusje before. The dishes were very tasty. Of course there is sometimes something that is less tasty, but that is a matter of taste. If you don't eat it all, that's no problem. Personally, I liked all my dishes. My favorite: Gamba pil pil. The choice is huge. There is something delicious to order for everyone. There are vegetarian dishes, and allergies are also taken into account. You will then receive a separate order form for this. The drinks menu is also extensive. There are various types of beer and wine, as well as tasty cocktails with and without alcohol. There were 2 year olds in our party. Upon arrival there was a card on the table with a congratulations. When the dessert was served, 2 ice cream fountains were placed and 'Long may he live' was sung at the table by 3 cheerful employees. In short: A great evening!

Wij komen al heel wat jaren bij t zusje. Maar vandaag echt verschrikkelijk! We hebben ontzettend lang moeten wachten op het eten, twee maal verkeerde bestelling. De menukaart is echt negatief veranderd, de hoeveelheid qua vlees is behoorlijk achteruit gegaan, en het vlees wat je krijgt geserveerd is grotendeels aangebrand. Voor ons geen zusje roermond meer.

Half an Hour waiting, no folks/knifes. Food was already served. First tapas getting cold before folks were there. Asking for wipes/papers another half an Hour before we gave up.No Service at all. Not cleaning the table and Not coming around or asking if we want new Drinks (we were a group of six people) From the Business and customer perspective no recommendation..

Helaas een hele slechte ervaring, hier komen we nooit meer terug! Duurde ontzettend lang voor zowel drankjes als eten. 3 uur gezeten op een dinsdag en zijn na 3 rondjes eten en maar 2x drankjes naar huis gegaan omdat we de kinderen bij ons hadden. En dan betaal je de volle prijs, schandalig!!!!!

Unbelievable experience! We were sitting in the terrace patiently to order (they came after 20 minutes), that's it's okay if it's busy, however indoor was NO-ONE, so poor service. On top of that,more than three tables left, because of the slow service.

After 3 hours I only received 3 rounds and 2 drinks. Food is decent, nothing special. I understand that it can be busy, but you can plan accordingly. If the capacity is not there, do not accept any more reservations, this will be at the expense of the guests.

We went for lunch this afternoon after having a bad experience last year at their sister restaurant in Roermond. That time, we had three rounds of drinks for two people that entire evening. Today we decided to give it another try. The bread was only brought after we asked for it twice, and it finally arrived after the first round. When the order for the second round wasn't picked up until over 45 minutes later, we decided to call it a day. The wait is still incredibly long. This isn't the case at other "sister restaurants." We ended up having one round of drinks and two drinks per person, which cost €31.10. We received no compensation whatsoever. Definitely not recommended!!

A very long wait, the order was wrong several times, and one course was completely forgotten. The young lady who helped us was super friendly and really went above and beyond. But for us, it was a one-time deal.

A beautiful waterfront location. The restaurant is tastefully decorated and has a homey feel. Friendly staff calmly explains how to order, making you feel special. There's plenty of choice, including meat, fish, desserts, and vegetarian options.

Certainly not bad, but also not wow. After hearing for years how great it is, we went ourselves yesterday. Expectations were therefore high! The food is definitely good, although it does vary considerably between dishes. There's a wide range, and a lot of it is fried. The service is also very friendly, helpful, and hard-working. So definitely give a generous tip! But waiting at least half an hour between picking up the receipt and receiving the food is too long. It started Saturday evening (at 6 p.m.). Almost impossible to do more than five rounds in a normal four-hour period. I especially sympathized with parents and their young children. This also seemed more a deliberate tactic than due to busyness, but hey, this was our first time. Besides, I don't know how many staff were in the kitchen. But the time we had to wait for our food was in stark contrast to the service, who were incredibly quick to clear glasses and asked for drinks orders at least every 10 minutes, even though we repeatedly indicated we wanted to wait. The decor is beautiful, by the way, but upstairs we were cramped at a small table in the aisle against a high wall.

The food wasn't bad, but it could be better. The fries were very hard, typical frozen fries. But you can get those crispy and not hard. There was some meat that was very sinewy and some pieces were very fatty. Several dishes were certainly tasty, but some were quite overseasoned. The time between rounds was also really long. The first round took over an hour, the second round just under an hour. It's quite long. Based on the review, I was asked to contact them via a special link. No sooner said than done. Unfortunately, over two weeks later, I still haven't heard anything.

The first time we dined here, it wasn't fantastic. We made that clear. We contacted the manager and discussed the issues. She said they had indeed missed a few spots, but that she'd be happy to show us how it should be done again, and we certainly experienced that. We went back! And it was ten times better than the first time. The staff that evening were friendly and very customer-friendly. Very open and honest! The dishes were much better, and we didn't have to wait long. In short, this was a fantastic evening!

We had a wonderful meal last Saturday with our son, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren. The service was quick and friendly, and the dishes were delicious and varied. We'll definitely be back.

We happened to see this restaurant on social media and were intrigued. We really had no complaints whatsoever, the staff were very friendly, and the concept was fantastic. The food was delicious and the wait times were reasonable (the place was completely full on Valentine's Day). Highly recommended and worth coming back for!

The food was super tasty, we were there last Thursday and it was really busy and we had to wait at least 40 minutes per round for our 2 dishes. During the last round, the majority still felt like eating, but did not do so because we had been sitting for so long (from half past five to nine) 2 snacks per hour We were 9 people Respect for the staff, but half of our table did not want to come back a second time

Es war echt fantastisch, das Essen war sehr lecker. Das Konzept hat uns sehr gut gefallen und geschmeckt, es war sehr schade das ich schon satt war. Ich bin gelernter Koch und kann mich nicht daran erinnern so viele verschiedene Gerichte (Tappas) gegessen zu haben, von denen jedes rund um gelungen war. Die Atmosphäre ist ebenfalls wundervoll. Werden definitiv nochmal aus Köln dorthin fahren.

Het is een heel mooi restaurant met een leuk consept,personeel niks over te zeggen,zijn leuk en beleefd,maar na vanavond weet ik niet of we hier nog eens terug komen Om 18:30 gereserveerd,19:00 kwam pas het drinken en een broodmandje(gelukkig,want we hadden honger),19:45 kwam pas de eerste ronde(per ronde mag je 2 kleine gerechtjes bestellen),om 21:15 kwam ronde 2,hierop de vraag gesteld hoe het kwam dat alles zo lang duurde,waarop het personeel aangaf dat er veel te veel reserveringen waren geboekt tav het ingeplande personeel,dus het euvel lag niet bij het personeel zelf maar bij de planner. Toen het 22:15 was kregen we ronde 6 en hierop maar meteen ronde 7 besteld(nagerecht)anders ging je dit langs je neus,want om 23:00 sluiten ze de zaak. Ik moet er ook even bij vermelden dat we va ong.22:00 nog amper personeel zagen,dus als er iemand kwam,werd deze gelijk benaderd,want anders was deze weer snel foetsie. Je merkte ook dat alle klanten steeds meer geïrriteerd raakten door deze gang van zaken,want je betaald toch €39,95 pp en wat je dus hiervoor kreeg was erg weinig(2 kleine gerechtjes dus per uur). Na verloop van tijd ben je moe gezeten en is de honger ver te zoeken,dit ook omdat je uit verveling maar blijft drinken en je zo ook vol raakt. Om 22:45 zijn we eens rustig gaan afrekenen,hier zagen we de rest vh team bij elkaar staan(ondertussen zaten boven nog klanten te wachten die nog iets wilden bestellen,aangezien hun ook nog bijna niets gehad hadden)dus ik denk niet dat deze klanten nog iets gekregen hebben. Al met al een trieste bedoening en hoop dat 't Zusje hier iets mee doet,maar als ik andere revieuws bekijk,ben ik niet de eerste met mijn revieuw.

We have eaten at other Het Zusje locations before and that was always nice and tasty, but this evening was very disappointing. We arrived at 7:00 PM (3 adults and 4 children) and passed our first round almost immediately, but it took more than 30 minutes between courses each time. Because the dishes are so small, the wait was endless, especially for us and the children. Our daughter was celebrating her birthday and although the table was beautifully decorated, they only showed up with fireworks at 10:00 PM when almost everyone had already finished eating. That felt like mustard after dinner. The service also left much to be desired. At the beginning we were asked what we wanted to drink, but then we had to walk to the waitresses twice to order new drinks. We ordered 3 rounds of drinks throughout the evening. We hardly received any attention, it seemed as if the staff were mainly busy with other things. The food itself was tasty, but due to the long waiting times I skipped dessert. The children could no longer enjoy themselves after 10 p.m. and the idea of ​​“unlimited 5 courses” felt more like a deception, given the extremely long wait. We had hoped for a better experience for our daughter's birthday dinner.

But it was busy enough. So a lot of people will love it.

We had made a reservation for 6:30 PM but wanted to come for a drink at 5:00 PM, but that wasn't possible even though the place was still almost empty. We had drinks somewhere else. Missed liquor revenue. A bit impersonal service, did not respond when giving a €5.00 tip. 1 waiter walked in with earphones in and didn't hear that we wanted to order anything else.

Al vele malen voor diner of lunch naar diverse zusjes geweest. altijd gezellig en lekker gegeten tot 28 september. Gereserveerd voor de lunch om iemand te bedanken. Helaas werd ons medegedeeld dat de lunch veranderd was. Men moest gelijk kiezen hoeveel gerechtjes, met een max. van 5 gerechtjes, en alles tegelijkertijd bestellen m.u.v. het toetje. Alle gerechten zouden ook tegelijkertijd geserveerd worden. Heel vervelend want daardoor eet je warme gerechten die al koud zijn. Ook de frietjes die we als bijgerecht hadden waren uiteindelijk te koud geworden. Bovendien ben je beperkt in je keuze omdat je gedeeltelijk koude gerechten wel bijna moet kiezen omdat het anders helemaal niet lekker meer is. Men had minstens bij reserveren moeten aangeven dat het concept veranderd was.

Yesterday evening we had dinner at T's sister in Roermond. Upon arrival we were kindly guided to our table. The food was good, at least it's warm here! Unfortunately it took a very long time before you got your food. "There was a problem in the kitchen" we were told, we got a free drink! That was nice, we had to wait another 20 minutes for that free drink, and my cappucino must have been special because it took 45 minutes. So they haven't really learned how to work with their sister in Roermond, no one can do anything about a problem, but you work around the problem! Shame!

Dit is ons 2e bezoek aan dit restaurant. Dit keer viel het helaas wat tegen. De introductie aan tafel was half en chaotisch. Het duurde heel erg lang voordat je gerechtje werd uitgeserveerd. Wellicht was het iets te druk in verhouding tot het beschikbare personeel.

Ik ben heel toevallig vorige week 2 keer bij Zusje Roermond geweest. De eerste keer was een afscheid van een collega en de tweede keer met mijn echtgenote en een vriendin omdat ik het de eerste zo lekker vond. Als ik dan naar de beoordelingen kijk, die uiteraard objectief zijn moet ik oprecht zeggen dat wij een heel leuke avond hebben gehad bij Zusje. Het concept is echt leuk, ook al zijn ‘t geen Spaanse tapas :), de gerechtjes waren goed op smaak en sommige echt heel erg lekker. De bediening, wij zaten buiten, was heel attent, de tijd tussen de gangen was perfect en de ‘huis’ rosé erg lekker. En het reserveren ging uitstekend, zelfs ‘t contract met de reserveringsafdeling om een gast bij te boeken was perfect. Al om al een aanrader!

Enjoyed it wonderfully from start to finish. We even went back the next day during our leave to taste other dishes. What a great concept and service. Everything was well taken care of. If we had been in Roermond for three evenings, we would come back again!! Great!!

Na ruim n half uur wachten hadden we nog steeds niet onze eerste gerechtjes. Toen we daar om vroegen kwamen ze wel direct (vreemd genoeg). Helaas maakte dat niet dat de gerechtjes erna sneller kwamen. Na ruim 2 uur waren we slechts 2 rondes verder en ook de kwaliteit liet te wensen over. Weinig smaak. Voor ons was dit de tweede maar meteen ook de laatste keer.

Many dishes to choose from, one better than the other but of low quality. Friendly service, decor is a matter of taste. High galling content.

Nice tent...attractive interior and friendly staff...and the food was good! Only the wait between rounds took way too long for us As long as you just forgot which 2 dishes you ordered...I think we've said enough with that It's okay that your business is full...but 45 minutes to an hour per round is really too long We actually wanted to go 5 rounds and have dessert, but unfortunately that wasn't possible in terms of time

Arrived yesterday 6:30 pm. Tent was full. You will receive your drinks and tickets within 30 minutes. Each round involves a minimum wait of 30 minutes. This means you only get 3 hot rounds and 2 dessert rounds. This way it is not all you can eat. Lots of mistakes. When adjustments were made to dishes, things went wrong every time. Often dishes were missing that could then suddenly be delivered within 2 minutes.

Super tasty and experience and highly recommended

Service is very variable. Some very correct people. Some cannot understand what they say and are indifferent to what they put in front of you.

Voor dit geld verwacht je echte tapas maar dit kwam niet in de buurt. En na achteraf controleren van de bon stonden er meer drankjes op dan besteld. Kijk niet vaak naar de prijs , zeker niet als het gesmaakt heeft maar dat viel tegen en daarna ook nog het gevoel dat je opgelicht bent aangezien er drankjes op de bon stonden die niet genuttigd zijn. Jammer maar waarheid. Tuurlijk smaken verschillen maar dit voelde niet goed. Nooit meer!!

Food was fine, just a shame you have to wait so long for a drink.
