Cozy local restaurant with delicious food!

Really disappointing yesterday. Super disrespectful.

I went to this restaurant and it was a truly terrible experience. I waited over an hour, but my order wasn't even sent to the chef! When I approached the owner, he simply said, "If you want to stay, stay, and if you want to leave, go," without any apology or respect for the customer. Extremely rude and extremely poor service. I will never return and absolutely do not recommend this restaurant.

The worst restaurant in history. After waiting for 50 minutes, the order was messed up. We were 10 people. Honestly, it's shameful. Honestly, it's ridiculous.

Best place in the shopping center, I eat here every few months even though I live in Zeist now, I come back for this place!

It's a shame they don't serve alcohol.

The only problem is that they don't deliver where I live. Call them in for arrangements if you are coming w friends or family to dine in. Fine is excellent in big amounts, standard prices, flexible menu combinations.

Best food I’ve ordered in a while!!!

Truly the best Syrian food I've ever had in the Netherlands! The shawarma was super juicy, the mixed grill perfect and full of flavor. You can just taste the love in the food. The people are super friendly too. I'll definitely be back! Highly recommended!

The place look good, I put 5 stars not for the food but for how good the people are ! I want to advise to look more for the service because we had to wait like 40 minutes for our food , I think they forget us because other people that came later had food before us . But for the rest food was ok not amazing.

The restaurant is crowded on holidays. May God bless it. When I see two people, I say there are no tables. If there are a large number, I will empty a table.

The restaurant is nice, and I’ve eaten there more than three or four times. They have a varied menu, and I always love ordering the charcoal chicken with rice – it’s really delicious. The staff are very respectful and friendly. I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 because, on one occasion, we came a bit early (around 1 PM) and ordered charcoal chicken. We asked if it was fresh, and they said “yes.” However, when the order arrived, it was clear that it had been reheated and wasn’t fresh. We spoke to them, and they responded politely and replaced it for us, but unfortunately, even the replacement wasn’t fresh. We would have preferred if they had been honest with us from the start and told us it wasn’t fresh. Transparency is important, especially with regular customers.

In the name of God Today we had lunch at Taiba, and it wasn't the first time. We ordered charcoal-grilled chicken thighs. They were delicious. The marinade was delicious, and the portions were excellent.

The restaurant is nice and clean, and the food was generally good, especially the grilled meats. But the service needs to be improved. They forgot to serve the fattoush and other items that come with the order and didn't put them down until we had to reorder them, even though we weren't crowded or pressed for time. They also need to regularly update the prices on their page. Good luck.

I don't know what to say, but when a person buys food in Egyptian pounds, they don't beg for it. In the end, your grilled chicken is just a grilled sauce that doesn't resemble anything called grilled chicken!! The chicken today really costs seven euros and it will feed a family. How can your grilled chicken barely feed two people? And the vegetables that you put, half of which goes to the kebab... Shame on you, by God, make your livelihood and the money that you are taking permissible... And the food and the broasted chicken that is all oil and dough, it would be better if we kept quiet!!

The food is very tasty, friendly and helpful staff. Portion size is OK and is nicely served. Disadvantage; every time we come there it is SUPER busy with children running around and making noise, that makes it a bit less. We were not able to enjoy the meal because the children jump and run next to the tables. Unfortunately there is no separate place for children to play, but this is really super annoying. Otherwise fine and great prices!

Sunday 25 May got chicken shawarma. Always perfect. But now crusts on the bun more fat than meat a hair in it. Plus had a lot of diarrhea. Too bad because now I don't have something like that for a while.

I loved the food specially the Shish Tawook. We have over ordered because everything in the menus looked amazing and we were full at the end of it. The service was great and omar was very attentive. The ambience is great with nice music playing at the background that we enjoyed its sound wasn’t too loud or too faint. If you're looking for a place with incredible food and service that makes you feel special, this is it. And if you're lucky enough to be served by omar, you’re in for an exceptional experience. Can’t wait to come back!

You have the right to set the price you want, but it would not be logical if I told you to give round potatoes instead of long potatoes and add an extra 4 euros. Shame on you.

I ordered two Broast meals, but the bread was not included. I also asked for a garlic dip and paid for it, but it was not with the order.

Great food but possible to find somewhere else of the same quality with better service. This is the second review because on the first they replied wrongly that my tone was the issue. Of course it was because you could not understand and your staff insisted on making mistakes intentionally. For example I asked 3 times for tap water and the staff said they understood and brought a bottle expecting me to say ok in the end. Until I get angry and request for tap water to the cashier. Then I asked to have the bill on my table and I have been requested to pay first. No potatoes or anything else removed from the mistake you made.

Went again last Friday, April 11, 2025 because of our previous good experiences. The food was delicious again, but at home we suffered from food poisoning. My elderly mother is still ill and it is probably because she ate chicken. Despite our previous good experiences, this is quite a disappointment. Extra attention to hygiene in the kitchen seems to be necessary.
