My absolute favorite cafe in Delft. Everything is simply wonderful. It's like my second living room...

Wow! Gezellig af! It is a very cute spot to have brunch in Delft. They even have gluten free options :) I had the gf salmon bagel with a fried egg and an iced latte with oat milk, it was so so lekker. I am very impressed. It is a small but cozy place.

Discovered this hidden gem with my parents on a week day. Tasty avocado toast with salmon and tuna salad toast with fried eggs, flat white and cappuccino are also great. On top of that, the waiter is super kind and friendly, which makes the whole experience even better! Will definitely come back again.

It's a cozy café with a pleasant atmosphere and a beautiful interior. The coffee could be better, hence the 4 stars.

Nice atmosphere. Good coffee and drinks. During our visit of Delft we made some stops to rest. We had an interesting conversation with the owner who told us some facts about life in Delft.

Family vibe cafe.. The cakes and the fresh orange juice are the bomb. Also the cakes and sandwiches are amazing

The food tasted and looked amazing! I went for the Tazz tosti with cheese and bacon (the bacon is to die for!!). The coffee was good but the waiting time for the food was a bit too long.. We had to wait 45 minutes before we could eat.

The food was nice, but unfortunately, it wasn’t worth the 1 hour and 20-minute wait. When we arrived, we were told it would be ready in 30 minutes. Then it became “just 10 more,” then “5 more”—and the delays just kept going. When we finally got the food, part of the order was missing. To make matters worse, the middle-aged woman who seemed to be the owner was rude and passive-aggressive when we asked about it. No apology, just a dismissive attitude. It’s a shame because the kitchen clearly has potential, but the lack of organization and poor customer service really ruined the experience. I wouldn’t go back, way better places in Delft!

Atmosphere is nice but no excuse not to have apple pie during the Pentecost weekend. Coffee served lukewarm and lemon cake forgotten. Everything is put into perspective by the service with a smile. This can/should be much better. Because of the experience it is then quickly a lot of money that you have to pay.

The food quality was pretty good but the middle-aged woman (I guess the owner) ruined the experienced. When we asked for cutlery, she responded "maybe you should wait a second!!" When we told them the food was missing something, she responded by "it's good to let me speak as well so we can communicate!!" Absolutely rude! We were told the food will arrive in 30 minutes, but it took 1 hour 20 minutes. In the meantime, they didn't pick up the dirty cups, or offered water or asked if we want any bites because the food is taking longer. It was obvious the place was understaffed. The barista and the waiter were under pressure and they did their best so kudos to them but the other woman (I assume the owner) was rather on the horrible side.

This afternoon we sat on the terrace of this place for a cup of coffee and a pastry. Unfortunately we had to wait 30 minutes. Understandable that it can be busy, but half an hour is very long. When we indicated this, they didn't even apologize. Too bad! Next time we'd rather choose Kek, always good service and a recommendation as far as we're concerned. It's basically next door.

Had fried eggs on toast with fresh fruit and salad. My husband had the same plus avocado. Freshly squeezed orange juice as well and topped all of this with a chocolate tort. Highly recommend.

Had pastrami sandwich and cappuccino, both very tasty! The staff and the owner were super kind, would recommend.

Nice place to have lunch. Only we waited more than an hour for our food! Wasn't worth it. The toasted sandwich even had burnt bits.

Great, we come to Delft especially for this. You feel at home here every day. With delicious coffee and quality food. You really get value for your money in a homely atmosphere. They can also tell you everything about the coffee you drink. That quickly leaves you amazed and feeling great. (Ps. Not wheelchair accessible inside).

One of my favourite coffeebars in Delft! I go here pretty often and they're always friendly and make great coffee. A good place for a date, but also great if you just want to drink coffee and read a newspaper

What a wonderful experience... We were searching for a place to have breakfast and tripped across it. The staff (owner?) was super-helpful and kind. The atmosphere is very laid-back, and breakfast can be whatever you want it to be (within reason). Everything was tasty and prepared with integrity, and we were well looked after. We even received suggestions on what to see nearby!

Really great and cute breakfast and lunch cafe. The food is very nice, Tazz tosti is delicious! One of the best appletaarts in the town! And very friendly owners :)

A wonderful gem in Delft, close to the Nieuwe Kerk. Slow coffee (the tastiest in Delft), delicious homemade cakes and cookies, richly filled sandwiches and Mr. Toon is the owner who provides the beautiful stories. The terrace is lovely when the sun shines, but you can also enjoy it indoors.

The coffee is delicious and the view of the canal is nice.

Delicious apple pie! Gooood coffee, cozy design And what’s very important - super friendly people who serve you. It’s not usual nowadays when people in the cafe spend time talking to you - they are too busy or too scared to open up. Here you get real warmth and friendliness - just loved it!

The fantastic place! We entered by chance looking for a place with shade. And we were pleasantly surprised. The beautiful and delicious cakes (we took 4 different pieces) made by them. The pure drinks are only those prepared by them (they don't have coke etc). The owner is very nice. A beautiful discovery.

De eigenaars zijn aardig,fijne bediening maar vooral is de zelfgemaakte appeltaart elke keer weer heerlijk. Je kunt lekker buiten zitten maar ook binnen is het gezellig. Ik kom hier graag.

Tazz is for me one of the places with the best coffee in the Netherlands. Dirty chai latte has absolutely no competition. Have been here plenty on times and for sure will come back many more ❤️

When you come out of the Delft Vermeer Museum, three steps straight ahead you end up in the TAZZ. We had delicious apple cake with cream and delicious lemon tart with meringue, as well as extremely good coffee from the Rotterdam roastery “Man met Bril Koffie”. The very young waitress was extremely friendly, and the eloquent owner rounded off the gastronomic experience. A visit to the toilet recently became an adventure: the stairs up are so steep that they require a firearms license!

My favorite are their homemade smoothies. Here you feel welcome 🤗 and the catering trade is practiced with passion and a lot of love by the owners. They recently opened a second business a few houses away. Great success.

The coffee here is exceptional—rich, flavorful, and you can choose between so many options of brewing! What really surprised me were the enormous portions of their lunch food- it's a fantastic value and quality for the price. The staff is friendly and welcoming, making us to come back second time! The surroundings are nice and calm, providing a relaxing atmosphere with not too many people passing by.

This coffee/tea/lunch place has to be on your list when visiting Delft. Excellent food and service. Location is amazing on top of the canals. And if you live there, you have to go there. Tony and Tazz are heroes!

Stumbled upon this café by accident, just looking for somewhere to have something to drink, and I absolutely loved the atmosphere here. The café itself is situated above the canals, and it is relatively small. The variety of foods and drinks to choose from is great for breakfast and lunch or even just for a quick snack when you’re in Delft. Definitely recommend!

My preferred way of travelling is by visiting a city and going to as many coffee shops as I can fit in. The pour over at Tazz, and the experience they bring along with it, is probably in my top 2 or 3 I've ever had. I ordered the "Benitez", and it was prepared to perfection. If there was a coffee version of Michelin stars, this would get at least 2. The food was also amazing. Absolutely worth a visit.

Coffee Is not everything Disclaimer: this is not a review about Tazz as a customer. This is a review of Tazz as someone interviewed for a job. I would have preferred to speak to the owner directly but, receiving no response after many tries on my part, this appears to be the only meaningful way to be heard. An hiring process requires attention, time and respect from both parts. Being ghosted after an in-person interview with the promise of a definitive response is not acceptable. I am sure Tazz is a nice place to enjoy a good breakfast, but for everyone thinking of applying for a job here, not knowing where to look for some reviews, this was my experience. I hope to have caused a little embarrassment to the owner. Unfortunately, coffee is not everything.

Beautiful place for coffee and food...helpful people, smiling and kind. Delicious dishes and very nice coffee! Prices are reasonable... I can also say that it is in a beautiful location, overlooking the canal!

I spent the afternoon with a friend having coffee and cake. In general, the drinks and pastries are good and feel artisanal. In my opinion the apple cake was a bit dry, but I could feel it was 'real' food. They have a terrace and a couple of tables inside (is a relatively small cafe). The decorations are picturesque and cozy. The service was quite slow and could have paid more attention to detail. The menus they gave us were not clean.

I ordered the breakfast and I really enjoyed it. One of the best parfait I ever had, the bread and the eggs are delicious too. Staff is so friendly and willing to serve. The local is perfectly located too.

It’s like you step into the living room of an old friends house. This friend (Fred) and his wife run the place. His wife cooks upstairs and Toon makes the coffee and talks to the people. It gets crowded over lunch time so get there when they open and Fred will teach you about the Dutch artist Vermeer and many more interesting facts about Delft. Coffee and food are great as well

A truly unique place with very good food that is incredibly tasty, very special combinations with lunch. Super tasty snoothies and food. In addition, the owners and staff were very enthusiastic and hospitable! If we go back to Delft we will definitely visit again.

Buyer beware! There are no food prices on the menu. This is for a reason: they are absurdly high. EUR 9.85 for a toastie! A 3 EUR surcharge for gluten free bread (in fact a tiny roll) on a sandwich that already cost EUR 9.95!
