Thai Fresh in Bovenveen

We regularly get takeout from here. We've tried many and they're always delicious. It is a bit pricey for takeout. If I were eating in the restaurant (it's a lovely restaurant, by the way, and the atmosphere is great!), I wouldn't have as much trouble with the prices. €18 for a main course for one person with takeout still feels like a lot.

I picked up food here today for over €43 (two main courses and a starter). When I politely asked if I could have a tissue, they first acted as if they didn't understand me and didn't speak Dutch. Then the employee said he was going to ask the boss. He came back empty-handed and said it wasn't allowed — tissues were only for customers in the restaurant. I find that ridiculous. Many cheaper restaurants give you cutlery and tissues as standard. Here you pay top dollar and when you ask for a tissue you are turned away!

Bad salad, tasteless lettuce with some peanut grit and 50 grams of meat for € 15, -, bad curry that should be spicy with dried out chicken. Tom kha Kai also dried out chicken. All leftovers from the evening seemed used, will not come back here after being a customer for 15 years

After a long time we went to tf to eat again. We had a nice meal here as usual. Good tasty dishes and warm friendly service. Even laughed with guests from another table. I did complain like a little child about the sour mango ... but they couldn't do much about that. See you soon. Belly round.

Picked up today. Inedible! Thai fresh mix that dripped oil and had a musty old smell. Chew phad kapie that had no pepper in it, hard undercooked rice and it was just tasteless. It's outrageous that this is being sold! NEVER AGAIN!

Food served well and quickly. Too bad about the partly English service. Tip for owner: Pointing out mistakes to your staff is good, but not in an irritated way and in public.

On your app you don't necessarily have to choose rice or noodles for some main dishes. Probably a bug. So I ordered 3x main course and 2x noodles. I knew the following would happen: I ended up with 3 main courses and 1 bami. So instead of fixing your app and taking responsibility for a 2 euro loss of rice on a dish, you make the customer pay by not giving a 4 euro noodle. Sometimes I order Thai twice a week, but from now on never again. Good luck further. Typical for this time. It's all about the $$$$, right?

Cozy restaurant with nice decor. Extensive menu with something for everyone. For me personally, the flavors could be a bit more pronounced and the portions a bit bigger. (I was satisfied, but for the good stuff) Very good and nice staff makes your evening complete. The chef could also prepare a dessert that is not on the menu, really super customer friendly and sweet and it was also delicious.

Delicious authentic Thai food. It was very busy and there was a new waitress who was poorly guided by a permanent employee (?). She was corrected by laughing at her. A shame, even if she was not handy yet, stay polite if guests can see this.... I would think. We sympathized and felt secondhand embarrassment. Many mistakes were made, but I think the new waitress got too nervous from the 'guidance'.

Something went wrong with the order. When I called about it, it was resolved immediately in a very pleasant manner. Very nice!

The food is delicious and fresh. The service is really good and fast. My daughter has to have dinner there on her birthday.

Ordered an expensive bowl of pork tenderloin in sauce (moe krapauw) and what you get in return, half a bowl of small thin pieces of leftover meat. So small that you can't even taste the flavor of the meat. If you want to order a dish with pork tenderloin, don't because it's not worth your money at all!! I will look for a Thai where shrinkflation (paying more for less) is not necessary.

Looks great, tastes good, service good, but you don't get what you order. K had spring rolls but I got a dough with vegetables that looked more like fried banana, my papya salad had no papaya, the only orange was carrot. Quite pricey for a bit of bean sprouts and carrots.

Always full, a good sign in itself. Very busy in a small space. The staff will not come and ask if you want something to drink, you have to arrange that yourself. Very tasty food. Very nice curries and dishes that you can put together yourself. Beautifully full of flavor and a generous portion that fills you up. Not very cheap but value for money, it is real restaurant food. A compliment. Takeaway is always less somehow. I don't recommend that.

A huge fan of Thai cuisine, I found a business in Voorburg. And had a Pad Thai and was used to it being served with vegetables, chicken and/or shrimp and the typical herbs with peanut shavings.... Different here. You buy a plain Pad Thai without vegetables, with a choice of meat/fish and an additional €4.50 for the vegetables. Now I have often eaten it on the street in Thailand, which was fuller. Taste-wise it was fine. In terms of price, it is quite appropriate. Nice place and free parking...

Delicious food. Food was excellently prepared with fresh ingredients. Meat was nice and tender. The vegetables were still nice and crunchy. Service was also very good! We asked several times for some extra rice and it was brought quickly so we could continue eating. Recommended!

Delicious satay mix, curries, pad Thai and Tom Kha Kai, mango sticky rice, fried banana and cheese cake! We ordered many different dishes and shared them with a group. We asked the staff to recommend dishes for us. Everything was delicious. I also ordered spare ribs. Highly recommended! The meat was so tender. Very nice and service-oriented people work there.

The restaurant was fully booked, if we wanted there was another table between the restaurant and the kitchen. We accepted the offer and can enjoy the bustling atmosphere in the kitchen. What a nice experience! In addition, the food was delicious. Fine flavors and varied selection.

We ate Choe Chie curry and Macadamian, DELICIOUS If a little more vegetables at Choechie would be better. Super friendly service, I feel cozy. One more thing to say, the dessert was still delicious!

The takeaway is also delicious. This was two years ago. Bad experience now. Presumably changed ownership. Wrong order, had to go back to get satay. It was very mediocre, certainly not Thai, rather mediocre snack quality, and the sauce with the fish is no longer what it used to be. Also see other people in the service and kitchen. Very sorry

Leuk restaurant, lekker eten en vriendelijke bediening! Ik had als hoofdgerecht gekozen voor de Phad Cha. Dit gerecht stond op de kaart als zeer pittig (“voor de echte die hards”) Na een paar happen brak het zweet me uit en traanden mijn ogen alsof ik voor het eerst naar Titanic keek. Love it!! Alles werd mooi opgediend, van voorgerecht tot nagerecht. Het restaurant zelf zat vol, maar voelde zeker niet als te druk! Ik zou hier zeker nog eens heen gaan!

We were so disappointed. Our friends recommended this restaurant. The chef's starter was a starter and a soup. I expected more for 12th pp. The massaman curry was genuinely bland and watery. I had to pay 5 euros extra for extra vegetables, but I didn't see that reflected in the quantity. Very unfortunate, we won't be back.

Super bad service, food was super bad macadamia chicken and not a single macadamia nut to be seen, reported and nothing was done about it. The other dish fried chicken with black pepper sauce. We got a small plate of chicken. And the people next to us who ordered exactly the same thing got a larger portion. This was also indicated to the restaurant. Answer yes, the portions are not equalized. We jokingly said yes, but we have to pay the full price. To which it was said yes. So my honest opinion? Not a good restaurant if people are not treated equally! And people laugh about it. They also remove the bad reviews!

The best massama curry I have ever tried, 🤤, nice atmosphere.

Chicken satays were quite poor and nothing like proper Thai satay. They appear to be deep fried……. The pad Thai was pretty good (7 oo 10) although the large lettuce leaves are a needless addition and actually put me off a little - wilting lettuce…ugh. Service was good. 40 euros pretty steep I thought (two beers plus starter and main). In west London, I go to Thai Bites which is 5 star and then some and for same meal I am about 25 pounds by comparison. Probably lucky to not get two stars tbh.

Je zou het in deze buurt niet direct verwachten, maar dit restaurant is verukkelijk! Alles vers, zelfgemaakt, veel groente en een hele aardige bediening.

Met vrienden hier heerlijk thais gegeten, alles lekker vers en erg gastvrije en attente bediening, niets was teveel! Komen hier heel graag terug☺️

Na een uitstapje en een ander Thais afhaalrestaurant wat gesloten was op maandag, ook een uitstapje naar deze gemaakt. Op avontuur. Ik ben prima geholpen qua glutenvrij dieet. Wat kon wel en wat kon niet, was duidelijk bij de medewerker die erbij werd gehaald. Top. Nog nooit gehad dat we trek hadden na het eten van Thais. 3 porties in totaal besteld voor 2 volwassenen en 1 kind. Voor een flinke prijs, zeker niet in verhouding met wat we kregen. Ook rijst bleek apart gerekend te worden, terwijl het bij de 2 gerechten in zou zitten, alleen niet bij de sla. Rijst was trouwens wel prima. Half bakje echt héérlijke maar wel echt zoete kip macadamia. Zoon smulde ervan! Witte curry met kabeljauwhaas? Gortdroog en taai. Heel zonde. De curry had een paar stukjes groente, maar verder volledig vloeibaar en ook maar half bakje. En dan de salade. Waar we een maaltijdsalade van verwachten zoals bij andere restaurants. Het was een zakje gemixte sla in een plastic bakje, met wat gehakte nootjes erover. Daarnaast een beetje appel in hete dressing. En gortdroge grauwe ossenhaas. Echt zonde. En niet voor herhaling vatbaar helaas, ondanks alle fantastische recensies en de goede glutenvrije zorgen.

It was very hot inside as there is no air con. There were a few fans but we were told they would have to move the one directed at us if another table came in. The food was very poor even though it was expensively priced. Tom Kha kai soup was watery, had no lemon grass and no galangal: just a few pieces of chicken and mushroom. Phad Thai was very boring - no spice at all and hardly any variety of ingredients except noodles. Tasteless.

We went here twice, the food is great and the waitress Sarah was both times remarkably good. She is very friendly, pleasant and communicates effectively and handles small issues very correct. Keep up the good work guys!

Ge-wel-dig!! Wow.. wat een eten , heerlijk! Alles wordt per persoon vers bereid in de keuken en de smaak is gewoonweg geweldig!

Goed en smakelijk eten. Prima groene curry.

Lekker en authentiek(voor haagse begrippen) Thais eten, die ook door thai wordt klaargemaakt. Goede, snelle service door vriendelijk personeel. Ruime menu. Voor de mensen die vaker in Thailand zijn geweest, komt deze smaak heel dicht in de buurt zoals je daar gewend bent(op de prijzen na;). Zaak is niet al te groot, wat de kwaliteit en service ten goede komt. Daarom is het vaak vol, dus vooraf reserveren is wel zo verstandig. Een aanrader dus!

Heerlijk gegeten met z.n vieren. Leuke vlotte bediening. Prijs kwaliteit prima in orde. We komen hier zeker terug. Het restaurant was tot de laatste tafel gevuld. Een goed teken volgens ons!

Ik kom hier bijna wekelijks om wat af te halen, soms kom ik ook binnen eten maar vooral afhaal. Ik kan er geen genoeg van krijgen. Het is niet goedkoop, maar ik vind de prijzen voor wat je krijgt echt niet slecht. Enige minpunt is dat ze soms bezwijken onder de drukte, maar dat is dan een goed teken denk ik.

Heerlijk Thais gegeten. Een feest om te zijn. Zeer verzorgd, super schoon en uitstekende service.

Op aanraden van bekende hier geweest. Eten is schoon, echter niet heel authenthiek Thais. Chef Starter leek ons wel wat, soep was lauw en de rest ook. Alleen loempia was warmer. Ik heb dit opgemerkt bij de ober en keuken excuses. Verder geen gebaar hierover nadien -niet dat ik zit te wachten op traktatie- , Vervolgens hoofdgerecht hadden we ipv rijst noodles besteld, en we kregen witte rijst, vervolgens hersteld maar toen was hoofdgerecht al bijna op. Duurde minimaal 15 minuten voordat de noedels er waren. Tot slot bij de rekening werd de noedels 2 x berekend ipv 1. M.a.w. het lijkt dat m'n steeds fouten maakt. Voor ons geen tweede keer. Wilde erst 1 ster geven, maar dat is zo zielig.

Super lekker eten Wat ik alleen jammer vind is dat het relatief duur is anders zou ik vaker afhalen En je krijgt heel weinig. bakken mogen wel wat meer vol voor dat geld....

Уютный ресторан тайской кухни. Заказывали рыбу, жареный рис и суп с морепродуктами. Очень понравилось. Но некоторая еда очень острая. Поэтому проконсультируйтесь с официантом перед заказом. Приятное обслуживание. Работают с 17 и до вечера.

Heerlijk gegeten. De saté en de Massaman curry zijn erg lekker. Toetjes waren top. Bediening is heel vriendelijk.
