The Avocado Show in De Zijde / Duivenvoorde / Park Veursehout

The Avocado Show in the Mall was decent in terms of food. The chicken burger was really delicious, but the nachos were served without jalapeños. They forgot to add them. Due to staff shortages, the quality is noticeably lower. The staff was very friendly and sociable, though. The decor is nice and the concept is fun.

A few weeks ago, I went here, and unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. I ordered a pancake and a cocktail. It took a very long time for my order to be served. When my pancake finally arrived, it was almost completely cold. To my annoyance, I saw my pancake sitting on the counter for quite some time, ready to be served. What made matters worse was that there was dust on my cocktail. I immediately pointed this out to the waitress and asked for a new one. The waitress's reaction was shocking; she gave me a strange look and, along with a colleague, laughed at my request. After a while, I did get a new cocktail, but it was far too strongly mixed and simply undrinkable. All in all, my experience at The Avocado Show was very disappointing. The long wait, cold pancake, and poor service are enough reasons for me to give only two stars. This is the worst service I've ever experienced.

Service too slow, don't go there... 30 minutes to take an order. I don't recommend it.

Westfield Mall of the Netherlands has many food stalls, but one with avocado seemed special to me. It's a beautiful restaurant with booths, soft sofas, or chairs—whatever you prefer. I simply ordered verbally, but you can also order via QR code and phone. I didn't have my phone with me! Mango Tango was excellent with special bread, mango, hummus, and an avocado rose. Just the right amount. The service was friendly and attentive, not pushy. Excellent! I will definitely go back when I'm in the mall again and want to have lunch.

Food is delicious but took very long.

The service was excellent, but the food was very mediocre. The salmon with spinach was really not good. You get very little salmon, and the food lacked flavor.

The kids each had a Bowl, not in a bowl, but beautifully laid out on a flat plate (see photos). The Avocado Fries were surprisingly tasty, but the Sweet Potato Fries were also very tasty. The drinks were a bit on the bitter side for me, but that's a matter of taste.

you would think there is enough avocados because its literally an ‘avocado’ show. We were sent away because they didn’t have enough avocados and we were on time😔

You could place an order yourself via the QR code on the table. That went well and the food was very tasty. However, it is very expensive for what you get.

Visited the location in The Mall of The Netherlands. Ordered, among other things, the nachos. Super sparing with the toppings. Left with 3/4 of a container of nachos without dip. I paid a lot for it, so I'll never go there again.

I used to come here for the tempeh bowl. But after the menu has changed the restaurant has no special dishes anymore. Looks like a regular pokebowl restaurant.

Jain food option available here. I had Vegan Mango Tango. This dish does not have onion or garlic in it. It is suitable for Jain diet follower. I had bitter lemon drink as well. Dish was good. Tried something new and liked it.

Loved the food, loved the service, loved the spot.. would def recommend this establishment.

What incredibly bad service. There were four of us and no one could give us a table. We finally had a table, someone came shouting at us from reservation... I said give us another table... But none of the four or five girls walking there could help us. Well, too bad for you, that's four customers less and 1 star... Sad

Service was friendly. The hamburger ordered turned out to be a miniature version, the size you would use for a gourmet meal. So not suitable if you are hungry.

We had to wait 45 minutes for our food before it finally arrived on the table. We were not the only ones because there were more people looking angry and waiting for their food. Some products were also no longer available for order even though it was only just noon, which proves that they are not well prepared and only have a small stock for the people who are already at the door in the morning. When paying, the staff also wanted to charge us for something we did not have, which again shows how they communicate (NOT). The food here is also ridiculously expensive for what you get.

Good portion, tastes good, good service, and good atmosphere. Not sure of why the low rating in the restaurants in this mall?

Had lunch here for the first time on a Friday afternoon. Delicious poke bowl Salamango, beautifully prepared dish, ingredients super fresh. Service in English, hospitable. Definitely come back here soon.

Staff were very friendly. The avocado was also very tasty. However, the Cajun chicken did not taste fresh and was reheated. Hygiene could also be a bit better.

Terrible service. Waited for forty minutes before we were served. Then we got our nachos which were almost cold. We had also reserved a table in advance, but we only got a small table in a not very nice place. Not recommended. Had a very bad experience.

Great spot! Came here for a break during shopping and had a lovely time. The food was really nice and we had great service. Would go back!

I've been here twice now. The layout of the plates is beautiful and the food is tasty and healthy. The poke bowls are especially recommended! Good service despite it being busy both times. Definitely go!

Always a pleasure to eat here! Although it was quite busy (Friday, lunchtime), someone came to us immediately and our drinks and lunch were served quickly. Mama mango was delicious as always! Hope to be here again soon.

Reservation at 8 p.m. we arrive at 8:10 p.m. due to a slight setback, a lady tells us that the kitchen has been closed for an hour, why allow reservations on the site in this case? Disappointed

We had made a reservation and were 15 minutes later than planned, and the restaurant was empty, after which the employee responded irritated that we were too late. Then another employee came to tell us that we were allowed to enter after all. Then we sat and heard gossip about us. Then our order was taken and we received brown avocados, while you wouldn't expect that from the avocado show. Employees are quite unfriendly, we do not recommend this restaurant. Too expensive for this experience.

After waiting 49 minutes for the ordered lunch, I only received the ice tea. Others who came later received their lunch earlier. That's why I only paid for the ice tea. Lunch was ready when I walked out, but thanks for this.

Heerlijk geluncht. Prijs kwaliteit goed in verhouding.

Lekker gegeten, kan niet anders zeggen. Vriendelijk personeel, hoewel je met scannen bestelt. Maar dat gaat dan ook lekker snel. Leuke inrichting en sfeer. Volle zaak in de middag. Leuke ambiance.

Das Trüffelschatz Baguette für 14 Euro hat leider wenig überzeugt. Trocken. Keine Beilage. Wenig Trüffelmayo. Der Cappuccino für 4 Euro war winzig und kalt. Massenabfertigung.

Typisch een geval van ondergaan aan je eigen succes.

Very relaxed place. Mango Tango: The combination of mango chutney and hummus turned out to be an exciting combination. Julio Caesar Salad with avocado was a marriage made in heaven. The presentation was beautiful for both the dishes. The drinks could have been better

Eten is ok - niet heel spannend. Helaas een haar gevonden in het eten. We kregen een nieuwe portie hiervoor.

I have ordered with my colleagues and my order was not delivered even when others finished their food. After an half an hour I asked and they said they forgot to process. Then it took 5 minutes to prepare the salad

mangiato 2 settimane fa in un normale martedì pomeriggio. Il locale era pieno con due sole cameriere che volavano dappertutto. Abbiamo ordinato alle 14.35 e solo dopo abbiamo sentito che molti ospiti reclamavano il loro cibo con attese di 30 minuti. Attendiamo e dopo poco ci vengono servite le bevande. io ho preso un bloody mary, il quale non aveva vodka, piccante, sedano e il succo di pomodoro non era per niente di qualità. Lo mando indietro e me ne viene fatto subito un altro. Questo aveva solo vodka, piccante giusto e pomodoro non denso. rimandato indietro. Forse è meglio rivedere la ricetta e gli ingredienti. Abbiamo atteso 45 minuti per il cibo (tra cui dei nachos freddi), dopo avere chiesto alla cameriera quanto mancava al nostro ordine, ci ha detto 15 minuti e abbiamo chiesto di cancellare l'ordine. Dopo 1 minuto ritorna e dice che il cibo è pronto. Qualità più che discreta. Per fortuna che avevano chiuso il ristorante vista la quantità di gente che non riuscivano a soddisfare. Questa è stata un'ottima decisione,ma forse un po' tardiva. Alla fine abbiamo ricevuto un 20% do sconto inaspettato sul conto, il quale dà un valore aggiunto al servizio. Abbiamo donato la mancia alla cameriera perchè in quella giornata la maggior parte delle persone avrebbero lasciato il lavoro e non sarebbero più tornati. Un punto da rivedere è sicuramente la quantità di giovani in cucina, che è un bene per la società,ma bisogna anche aggiungere un tocco di esperienza. Mi dispiace per la loro situazione. Ci sono molti punti da migliorare. Questo è quello che spesso succede in olanda, dove gli investitori guardano solo i numeri e non la gestione e alla fine vendono il business 3 stelle di incoraggiamento

Very good food , very good staff

The beef burger was really delicious. The nachos dish wasn't that nice, cold, and the cheese sauce tasted like it was powdered. We will still recommend it because of the burger and sweet potato fries.

Zeer lekker en divers eten en drinken.

Food delicious, but the service is lacking compared to the one in Amsterdam so no explanation to the special tea or food. Only serviced on the table and be gone, a pitty since we enjoyed the friendly and welcoming service in Amsterdam. Mainly the reason for the big difference is because the one in Leidschendam is clear understaffed. The restaurant wasn’t even full, only half full and they already told to new customers it is full, please come back one 1,5hour later. They do try their best to make the best of it, but little they can do because most of the customers in restaurant are still waiting for their orders. A pitty, really a pitty since the food is very good. Do keep in mind, some dishes like the warm dishes are only available after 16 o’clock.

Buiten keek ik op het menu dat voor de deur stond wat ik zou willen eten. Toen ik dit wilde bestellen was er helaas alleen een salade met zalm( van de salades op het menu) Ik heb dit besteld met een munt thee, helaas was er ook geen munt thee dus kreeg ik een andere thee. Op de thee zaten we al eventjes te wachten maar op het eten hebben we ruim 45 minuten gewacht, helaas. Ik kreeg de salade en die zag er goed uit, het enige wat ik hier jammer vind is dat er echt heel veel dressing overheen zat wat de overhand nam. Ik vond het de prijs niet waard helaas. Personeel was aardig maar bestellen moest via een QR code en er was dus geen persoonlijk contact.

We kwamen enthousiast dineren, tent was zo goed als leeg. Ongeïnteresseerd en passief personeel, helft van de kaart was uitverkocht, wat er wel was was vlak van smaak en liefdeloos in elkaar geflanst. De avocado- en cauliflower fries waren ronduit smakeloos. Heel jammer!

Advocado specials,zoals advocado fries,salades, sausjes op basis van advocados, advocado drankjes, etc. Lekker,maar best prijzig. Leuke variatie.

Heel onpersoonlijk en weinig gastvrijheid. Die qr code helpt daar ook niet bij.... Eten was mwah. Er was een issue in de keuken waardoor al het eten veel later kwam, maar dat werd pas gecommuniceerd toen we er naar vroegen.

This is a very nice place to eat Vegan, meat or fish. We are always looking to dine where there are Vegan option as well as meat and doglfriendly. Well this place is dogfriendly - but the DOGS ARE NOT ALLOWED - in The Mall where this restaurant is located, So if you want to try this "Avocado Show" check out Amsterdam's restaurant dogs are allowed inside and they have a terrace. The reason for my 3 star rating is because of the location this restaurant is in, though the staff can't help it. The food is very good and the cafe has nice little dinner corner to sit. Fast and friendly service. During shopping a fine place to have your dinner

Deze Avocado show bevind zich in Westfield, Mall of the Netherlands! Bijzondere naam maar goed. We hadden gebeld en gevraagd of we onze kleine hondjes mee mochten. Er werd aangegeven dat dat geen probleem was. De hondjes werden fijn verwelkomt en kregen een bak water. Het eten was weer zalig! De cauliflouwer starter is geweldig en de vegan mango bowl was ook zalig. Ik twijfelde of ik vegan wasabi mayo zou nemen omdat ik er niet van houd als er te veel of een dikke laag van wordt gebruikt. Ik koos er voor het te nemen en het was perfect. Precies genoeg smaak en zachtheid. Een aanrader. Personeel super vriendelijk en behulpzaam! Toen we door de mall terug naar de uitgang liepen werden we aangehouden door de beveiliging, die gaf aan dat we daar niet mochten zijn met onze hondjes!!! Dat hadden we niet verwacht… dus toen zijn we snel weggegaan. Helaas, we kunnen hier dus toch niet terecht met honden! Terwijl ze zo welkom waren! 🐶❤️🐶😎😀🥑🥑
