The coffee and cappuccino are perfect!

Nothing special, to be honest. Food was okeish but noting that special. Service was nice but waiting time was crazy but it was not full at all so I don’t understand why it took that long.

Zero stars for food and atmosphere is for the zero-star service. We were sent away while the terrace was half empty, but they didn't seem interested in welcoming us or serving us. It's a shame about this new breed of staff who want to work a quiet shift instead of providing service and making money.

The chicker burger is nothing short of fantastic, the staff is super friendly and available for any need, we even met the owner who advised us on what to do during our holiday!

I’m not a breakfast person typically however I’m so glad I took breakfast this morning at this spot recommended by Grok! Everything was delicious, especially the latte and blueberry muffin!

Unfortunately they don’t have many vegan options. Just granola and hummus.

Great breakfast place. Cappuccino was perfect and the food was wonderful. It took us a while to walk there but was worth it. Just around the corner was a street food market with tons of great fruit, snacks etc.

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. The service was extremely poor, and it was clear that the staff working there were not doing their job properly. There was a lack of professionalism and attention to customers, which made the entire visit unpleasant. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place to anyone looking for good service or a pleasant dining experience. Definitely not worth it.

Expensive for what they offer, but in the end you realize that it is like all of Amaterdam

I can’t comment on the food, because I couldn’t get any. I sat at a table for 20 minutes and couldn’t get any service, so tried to order inside, but was told I had to order from my table. After another 10 minutes of waiting with no service, I gave up.

They are so sweet and the food is really good and fresh i come there weekly with my husky love it

The food was good, but a bit expensive. But standard for Amsterdam. It's worth going there for breakfast. Unfortunately, the coffee was half full and cold, but otherwise everything was fine.

It was the only cafe that opened at 8 a.m., the food was delicious, but expensive.

The food is and has always been amazing. My favourite item is the chicken waffle. Sadly, with all due respect, the new staff seems inexperienced: I sat outside for a very long time waiting for someone to take my order, while the staff were inside, talking. Other people on the terrace were visibly frustrated as well. It wasn’t even very busy. My order was also messed up: I ordered hot milk and got cold oat milk, while my partner ordered a matcha latte and for some reason it was also prepared with oat milk, which we also ended up paying extra for. My partner can’t really handle oat milk well, so she had an upset stomach afterwards.

We met the owner of Italian nationality who welcomed us with courtesy and a smile. Excellent food, same goes for the service... highly recommend.

The Breakfast Club restaurant/cafés in Amsterdam are pretty mediocre WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE BREAKFAST CLUB ON THE ROETERSSTRAAT. Really friendly staff, good service and nice atmosphere. What a difference a smile makes!

Lovely staff, amazing food!! They were very kind to us and even helped us find nearby coffeeshops, one of the waiters was Italian and told us how he had come to Amsterdam to enjoy the peace and felt the community were more inclusive!

We had reserved a table in advance, and everything from start to finish was wonderful. The food was absolutely delicious, the service quick and genuinely kind, and the atmosphere warm and cozy, just the way you want it. We’ll definitely be coming back!

The attitude of the worker was really rude and started to curse at us in italian thinking we wouldn't know what she was saying, but understood so I felt really offended.

I ordered the Eggs Benedict during my visit. The service was okay, and the atmosphere was quite nice, but unfortunately, the food was really disappointing. The tomato served was clearly old, the sauce tasted off, and the egg wasn’t poached, it was fully cooked, which completely ruined the dish. To make things worse, I started feeling real discomfort a couple of hours later. For a place with such good reviews, this was a huge letdown. And on top of that, it’s way too expensive for the quality of food served. I won’t be coming back

Unfortunately by far the worst eating experience we had in Amsterdam. Service was suuuper slow. Took 45 mins till we got our breakfast. Eggs Benedict were barely warm, hollandaise on top cold like straight out of the fridge. Pancakes were also not great. The ratio of pancakes to fruits/cream is a joke. Like eating five slices of plain bread in a row. Coffee was nice though. So, if you come solely to drink coffee, it’s okay I guess.

the place is beautiful, has a nice view. it wasn’t crowded. i had an american pancake. pancake was so soft and the syrup was so delicious. the fruits were fresh.

Coffees were ok, croissants were a bit stale and small. Not great for the price.

Visited on a Tuesday morning, no booking. One member of staff did seem annoyed with people turning up without bookings. I had the blueberry pancakes, these were delicious with fruit and syrup! Slightly on the expensive side for breakfast but the food was really good!

Really nice breakfast. Had the London twice, nice twist on English breakfast with the cherry tomatoes and spiced beans. Was always busy when we went, but the food came out quickly, good atmosphere.

Absolutely great, you really can't complain. If you come early, you'll be lucky to choose a seat; laptops are prohibited from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Toilets are on the upper floor, accessible via a small staircase. The staff is super friendly and very attentive. Food tasted good and was prepared quickly. Card payment desired.

I had a breakfast club sandwich and an iced latte and honestly there were both amazing. The sandwich was super tasty and the sauce it had was so good. As a Mexican travelling abroad, the amazing service from our waiter Matteo was very much appreciated.

We went there to eat a breakfast on a Sunday. It was very busy and crowded, but they found us a place. The service was okay. It took quite a long time to get our coffees (strange?) and the table beside us had their food before we had our coffees even though they arrived after us. For my part, the food was excellent. (Burger) but my partner took egg Benedict California and it was not really good. The hollandaise sauce tasted like lemon and vinegar only and the food was cold. Overall, I would recommend this place, but try to avoid hollandaise sauce in my opinion.

I swear to God, something, something, amazing. I always go to him for a million out of ten. Their food is delicious, especially the chicken waffles. I recommend it for breakfast.

The service is rather quick, but the dishes lack a little seasoning. I wanted to try the bacon & cheese pancakes but it's only a stack of 5 pancakes with tasteless slices of cheese between them... too bad I had to waste it was way too big for one person! The avocado toast lacks a little seasoning but otherwise pretty good!

Super cool concept. Here you can simply have breakfast all day long. Hearty, sweet, savory or even completely spacey and there is something for everyone. All dishes can be combined, added or omitted.

Io e il mio ragazzo siamo andati la prima volta ad assaggiare i pancake e li abbiamo trovati così buoni da averci convinto a ritornare lì per un’altra colazione il giorno seguente!! Purtroppo siamo dovuti tornare in Italia sennò saremmo diventati clienti fissi!!

very delicious food and amazing atmosphere. you might need to make a booking because it’s a little busy. i would personally recommend the tuna melt and the buttermilk pancakes they were both super tasty.

Great breakfast place. Quite busy when we were there but not too much of a wait. They do not allow laptop use during busy times. Not actually an issue but something to be aware of if you are considering working there.

The Breakfast Club in Amsterdam convinced us across the board! I tried the chicken waffle, which was cooked perfectly - crispy, juicy and with a great balance of savory and sweet. My wife had the Eggs Benedict California, which also tasted excellent. The service is particularly noteworthy: we were greeted in a friendly manner, asked about any allergies or special requests and looked after attentively throughout the entire visit. The atmosphere was relaxed, the food was fresh and prepared with attention to detail. A great place for a delicious breakfast or brunch – highly recommended!

A super cozy place with delicious coffee and very friendly staff. The cappuccino I ordered was very well prepared, everyone working was very helpful and especially the manager Gessica is very nice! Highly recommended!

We had eggs Benedict and the Breakfast Club sandwich. Delicious food and fast service even when full house! The atmosphere is great, the christmas decorations adorable, but a bit too loud if you are looking for a calm brunch spot. Very busy, but you don't have to wait long for a free table.

I have been to breakfast club before and have loved their food. However I have now had to walk out of this one in particular, on three separate occasions. We were given the worst seats even though the place was half empty. And were not served for 25 minutes. Despite other customers coming in, being given the seats they wanted and being served. I have been ignored completely on two other occasions. To be honest, I don't think I have ever been treated so badly at a restaurant. And it was certainly not a one off. Will never be coming here again.

Service is abysmal. Upon entering, the rather stiff and gruff lady behind the counter said: "What do you want? Something to drink?" with a tone of 'yet another customer, I don't feel like this'. When I asked if I could eat something there, she said I could take a seat somewhere, I asked if I could sit upstairs and that was possible. So she knew I was sitting there. Then it took far too long before someone came, the colleague of the lady behind the cash register, who initially only came up to clear the tables. Fortunately, when he saw me sitting at an empty table, a bell rang and asked what he could do for me. After fifteen minutes a group of 4 came to sit at the table next to me and they were spoken to within 3 minutes by the lady behind the cash register who had come upstairs. When she saw me she asked: "did you already order?" To which I said that I had indeed done that, with her colleague. When she checked her machine, where all orders etc are entered, she said nothing had been registered on my table. This was the last straw for me and when I got up to go she was fortunately able to say sorry, but this was also not a good thing. Too bad, because the food seemed tasty to me.

Nestled in university area, it is a great location. Stroll across canals to walk up to ARTIS or nearest metro / tram / bus stations. Lovely, warm staff. Wide variety of breakfast, brunch, coffee options to choose from. Basic range of beers and wines too. Highly recommended.

Very nice location where u can sit outside and enjoy the street view. The food was good but we had some little improvement suggestions; the butter pancakes were amazing but they could have more syrup… and more fruit! The honeycomb butter was a unique taste, had a somewhat burner taste also caramel like.

Coffee was fine. I didn't think the cheesecake in an oven dish was that successful. The pie crust got stuck and was difficult to get loose.

The food was very good, the hot drinks as well and there’s a lot of options. Definitely would recommend the Mexico City breakfast (pictured) and also to try their apple pie. The whole restaurant was really cosy, and the staff were really nice. We will be returning for sure!
