Great brunch! We ordered savory dishes, but preferred the blueberry pancakes. The atmosphere was a bit noisy. Very friendly and welcoming staff 👍

A very pleasant brunch. I would perhaps recommend trying the sweet options, which are absolutely delicious. We had the pancakes, which were excellent. However, we were a little disappointed with the savory dishes, which lacked flavor.

I literally Just ate here and the service was dreadful! The food quality is not very good and the awful service topped it off. Miscommunication between staff led a woman to follow me and my partner out of the restaurant claiming we didnt pay. No apologies once she realised, she just said in a Patronising manner if “we were sure”. Whoever your red headed team member is her attitude needs sorting out! After paying £60 for 2 breakfasts which left me feeling both embarrassed and victimised- i will not be recommending.

So I am not usually one to write a negative review, but today I have been backed into a corner and left no choice. As I walked into this dreadful place I was made to feel like not only an intruder but was looked down on by staff and treated with awful service. I was told to move by a waiter to another table to which I agreed, the table we were moved on to was rocky and an awful experience to sit on. So you’d think the food would make up for it…….. The food was nothing short of pedigree chum, a true foul dish was served and I’d never go back. The breakfast club, a club I will truly never be joining.

The breakfast restaurant is cozy and bright. They offer a wide variety of breakfast dishes. We really enjoyed our meals! Unfortunately, the latte art wasn't very good. The waiter was very friendly, the waitress less so. Overall, though, it's definitely worth a visit.

The food was tasty but nothing special. The guacamole wasn't homemade (I suspect), which I found disappointing for a café like this. The coffee was really good, and the service was very friendly but unfortunately not very attentive. The decor and atmosphere are lovely, especially now at Christmas!

Nothing impressive ! Was quite disappointed by the avo toast that didn’t even have fresh avocado but instead some industrial paste. Extra salmon was 5 bucks.

The Italian waitress just rude rude attitude asking questions about the menu just wasn’t very helpful and she seems very stressed to be closing in a hour and a half. The food was cold and not they great

Mmm, not what I expected. It definitely looks better in the pictures than it tastes. The young lady who served us was super friendly. It probably wasn't the best day to go, even though it was empty. 😕

The food was awful. We received two chai lattes that tasted like milk, but they replaced them. However, the replacements also tasted like milk. This was very disappointing for our last day in the Netherlands.

This has probably been one of the worst breakfast/Brunch I have ever had in Amsterdam. Every aspect of this experience left a lot to be desired! My fiancée and I decided to have some food here since we were in the neighbourhood and had heard this was a nice place to go. We will not be returning and definitely will not recommend it to anyone! The service: To start, it took more than 20 mins after we were sat until someone came to take the drinks order. We had to ask them to also take the food order too. Until here didn’t care too much as it was somewhat busy (although there were plenty of staff and the place is quite small). We ordered two pumpkin spiced lattes with oat milk, the Eggs Benedict California and Scrambled eggs with cheese on toast. The drinks did come quick enough, however, these were not pumpkin spiced lattes. It was a latte with cinnamon. We didn’t want to complain about this so we had decided to just let it go. However it took about 40 mins until we got served our food from the moment we ordered. At this point our coffees were cold. When the food arrived the scrambled eggs on toast we were served was actually an omelette not scrambled eggs at all. The eggs in my eggs Benedict were so extremely overcooked that they resembled hard boiled eggs. At this point I politely explained it to one of the servers that these eggs were overcooked and not at all what eggs Benedict should be like. The server didn’t apologise or say anything other than “Oh” took the plate and came back 5 mins later to give me the dirty cutlery that I had used to cut into the eggs which I thought was quite weird as they still had food on them and he had taken them into the kitchen (I would have simply given new cutlery). I then proceeded to wait another 15 mins for the food, the server just put the plate down on the table and said “there”. Not even an apology for the wait or the fact that the food was not up to standard. Much to my surprise I cut into it and the eggs were overcooked the same way again. At this stage I just wanted to leave and I was frustrated with the whole situation. I considered sending it back again but my fiancee had already finished her meal and I didn’t want to have to wait any longer for this food. I ate my food which was terrible, there was no flavour and the hard eggs and everything else on the plate was drowned in freezing cold sauce which was completely bland. We got up to pay and I mentioned to the server that once again the eggs were extremely over cooked and he did finally apologise for the experience. He had already added the price of the bill to the card machine when he offered to go ask another server if they could give us a discount ( only reason we gave service two stars) but he wasn’t sure so we just paid and left as we did not want to stay there any longer. Since leaving we have both experienced very bad indigestion too. (Perhaps as the whole experience was somewhat “hard to swallow” one could say!) The atmosphere: Pure chaos! The staff were running around like crazy. Someone behind the counter kept slamming cups and plates and throwing the cutlery which was quite startling and loud. We also noticed several other customers being startled by this. It was a very stressful environment to be sitting in especially while having to wait so long. Overall extremely dissatisfied and considering the name of the restaurant and what they specialise in we just expected the food to be good

My first time in Amsterdam, a weekend spent in a rush to experience all the facets of this wonderful city, including food with all the typical Dutch products... I wanted to stop and enjoy the famous Bitterballen in a warm, welcoming, and traditional place... I was walking and discovered this place that seemed to stop time, calling you and I couldn't resist... beautiful atmosphere, warm and welcoming. What struck me most was the staff: super friendly and kind! The girl who looked after me was incredibly sweet and helpful, with a smile that was hard to forget. ​I almost thought only of the beautiful serenity this place exudes, and here was the Bitterballen dish, a true delight to enjoy with a traditional Dutch beer. A wonderful experience and the perfect place for an authentic break. Thank you for your hospitality! Highly recommended!

Had a delicious breakfast of pancakes and granola. Very generous portions and good service.

Unfortunately, we didn't even get to try the food because the waiter shouted at us loudly in front of all the other guests, simply because we had pushed two tables together. Such behavior is completely unprofessional and inappropriate. It's a real shame – we were looking forward to our visit, but we didn't want to stay under those circumstances.

What a moment ! The best brunch of Amsterdam 🥞

I ordered a coffee and a London Breakfast. They brought me the coffee, but after more than 30 minutes I had to ask about the food — they had never taken my order. After waiting even longer, they finally brought me a New York, which wasn’t what I asked for. It’s my second time coming here, and unfortunately, the second time they’ve brought me something different from what I ordered.

It was very successful and all the plates were to our taste.

I found this place on Google and tried it. It was amazing Sunday morning find. The vibes were amazing. I had pancakes and they were very tasty and fluffy too. A bit on the sweeter side though. And a bit on cheaper side from the fancy restaurants in the city centre. That’s a plus point.

We stumbled upon this breakfast spot by chance and were thrilled! Excellent food with very fresh ingredients and super friendly staff! Only the café latte was lukewarm, unfortunately.

Coffee tastes pretty mediocre - got a flat white twice and both times it was cold and tasted closer to a latte macchiato, pretty pricey also for 4.65 for a flat white with subpar quality - but the beans looked good from lot61

The setting was very noisy, with several empty tables. They kept us waiting, claiming there were no tables available. Then they let other people go ahead of us, and when we complained, they said they finally had a table. As for the food, it was fairly decent.

I've been here before and had a good experience, this time not so much. They were very busy on a Sunday morning and sat us on the only table available, next to the door. Which usually would be fine but when it's opened 30 times in 15 minutes due to the number people of coming and going, the icy cold blast was too much to bear. During this 15 minutes, no one came to serve us and the table still had the last persons dirty cups and plates on it. As the menu wasn't particularly grabbing us, we decided to take our stuff and take our business elsewhere (we went to Box Social instead - excellent). I forgot my handbag in our haste to leave and they had cleared it away within 3 minutes of me returning. If only we had been served that quickly in the first place....

I've been to Breakfast Club before, but I've also been to a different branch. The food and atmosphere are all very good. You should definitely try the blueberry pancakes, especially.

It's not far from the Hyatt, the staff were very friendly, and the pancakes were delicious. However, I was a little scared because there were so many bees when I ate at the outdoor tables.

Not a particularly brilliant experience. When you make a reservation, you only get an hour to eat, but it took us 50 minutes to get our food. It's usually packed, so apparently, you have to consider it a privilege to be able to come for that hour, and that's reflected in the hectic atmosphere. Even the coffees and teas we ordered took 20 minutes. It's simply too crowded; after a while, I saw a lot of people searching around for their orders. The staff tries their best, but there's simply not enough capacity when there's only one person behind the bar and they're mainly selling time-consuming coffees. The food itself is a pretty standard brunch menu. The burger and avocado toast were delicious and generously filled, while the blueberry pancakes looked amazing but tasted a bit strangely sour and stale. Not to our taste. A relative plus: considering the target audience (tourists) and location, it's not very expensive; at least €13.50 for a chicken burger including sides is quite reasonable.

The coffee and cappuccino are perfect!

Nothing special, to be honest. Food was okeish but noting that special. Service was nice but waiting time was crazy but it was not full at all so I don’t understand why it took that long.

Zero stars for food and atmosphere is for the zero-star service. We were sent away while the terrace was half empty, but they didn't seem interested in welcoming us or serving us. It's a shame about this new breed of staff who want to work a quiet shift instead of providing service and making money.

The chicker burger is nothing short of fantastic, the staff is super friendly and available for any need, we even met the owner who advised us on what to do during our holiday!

Unfortunately they don’t have many vegan options. Just granola and hummus.

I’m not a breakfast person typically however I’m so glad I took breakfast this morning at this spot recommended by Grok! Everything was delicious, especially the latte and blueberry muffin!

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. The service was extremely poor, and it was clear that the staff working there were not doing their job properly. There was a lack of professionalism and attention to customers, which made the entire visit unpleasant. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place to anyone looking for good service or a pleasant dining experience. Definitely not worth it.

Great breakfast place. Cappuccino was perfect and the food was wonderful. It took us a while to walk there but was worth it. Just around the corner was a street food market with tons of great fruit, snacks etc.

Expensive for what they offer, but in the end you realize that it is like all of Amaterdam

I can’t comment on the food, because I couldn’t get any. I sat at a table for 20 minutes and couldn’t get any service, so tried to order inside, but was told I had to order from my table. After another 10 minutes of waiting with no service, I gave up.

They are so sweet and the food is really good and fresh i come there weekly with my husky love it

It was the only cafe that opened at 8 a.m., the food was delicious, but expensive.

The food is and has always been amazing. My favourite item is the chicken waffle. Sadly, with all due respect, the new staff seems inexperienced: I sat outside for a very long time waiting for someone to take my order, while the staff were inside, talking. Other people on the terrace were visibly frustrated as well. It wasn’t even very busy. My order was also messed up: I ordered hot milk and got cold oat milk, while my partner ordered a matcha latte and for some reason it was also prepared with oat milk, which we also ended up paying extra for. My partner can’t really handle oat milk well, so she had an upset stomach afterwards.

We met the owner of Italian nationality who welcomed us with courtesy and a smile. Excellent food, same goes for the service... highly recommend.

The Breakfast Club restaurant/cafés in Amsterdam are pretty mediocre WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE BREAKFAST CLUB ON THE ROETERSSTRAAT. Really friendly staff, good service and nice atmosphere. What a difference a smile makes!

I ordered the Eggs Benedict during my visit. The service was okay, and the atmosphere was quite nice, but unfortunately, the food was really disappointing. The tomato served was clearly old, the sauce tasted off, and the egg wasn’t poached, it was fully cooked, which completely ruined the dish. To make things worse, I started feeling real discomfort a couple of hours later. For a place with such good reviews, this was a huge letdown. And on top of that, it’s way too expensive for the quality of food served. I won’t be coming back

Unfortunately by far the worst eating experience we had in Amsterdam. Service was suuuper slow. Took 45 mins till we got our breakfast. Eggs Benedict were barely warm, hollandaise on top cold like straight out of the fridge. Pancakes were also not great. The ratio of pancakes to fruits/cream is a joke. Like eating five slices of plain bread in a row. Coffee was nice though. So, if you come solely to drink coffee, it’s okay I guess.

the place is beautiful, has a nice view. it wasn’t crowded. i had an american pancake. pancake was so soft and the syrup was so delicious. the fruits were fresh.

Visited on a Tuesday morning, no booking. One member of staff did seem annoyed with people turning up without bookings. I had the blueberry pancakes, these were delicious with fruit and syrup! Slightly on the expensive side for breakfast but the food was really good!

Really nice breakfast. Had the London twice, nice twist on English breakfast with the cherry tomatoes and spiced beans. Was always busy when we went, but the food came out quickly, good atmosphere.

Absolutely great, you really can't complain. If you come early, you'll be lucky to choose a seat; laptops are prohibited from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Toilets are on the upper floor, accessible via a small staircase. The staff is super friendly and very attentive. Food tasted good and was prepared quickly. Card payment desired.

I had a breakfast club sandwich and an iced latte and honestly there were both amazing. The sandwich was super tasty and the sauce it had was so good. As a Mexican travelling abroad, the amazing service from our waiter Matteo was very much appreciated.

We went there to eat a breakfast on a Sunday. It was very busy and crowded, but they found us a place. The service was okay. It took quite a long time to get our coffees (strange?) and the table beside us had their food before we had our coffees even though they arrived after us. For my part, the food was excellent. (Burger) but my partner took egg Benedict California and it was not really good. The hollandaise sauce tasted like lemon and vinegar only and the food was cold. Overall, I would recommend this place, but try to avoid hollandaise sauce in my opinion.
