Lovely small business to get great tea, pastries, sweets etc (see other comments) - as well as key products you might miss from Scotland, the UK, Australia & Canada, that are normally hard to get. I’ll be back!

What a great discovery in the heart of Delft! The English Bakery is run by an incredibly friendly couple who passionately and lovingly make the most delicious sweets. Think of perfectly moist brownies, freshly baked scones and classic English pies. Upon entering you are immediately warmly welcomed and there is always a pot of delicious (free!) tea ready for you. The English Bakery is highly recommended if you are in Delft!

Wonderful scones, I love the cheese ones. Great cakes and pancakes. Delicious Sunday Roast, the lamb one is a must. Everything is made on-site. I go every week and highly recommend it.

Phenomenal, came to get some stuff for a brunch/high tea. Got scones, 2 meat pies and 2 cakes delicious. The scones especially. Came out to a very fair price I even considered getting more. The dough of the cakes is so perfect. I will definitely be coming back here if in need of some goods

I stumbled upon this hidden shop last winter and absolutely loved it. I had a scone which was just perfect. On my second visit, I tried a homemade tea leaf package. It was a bit pricey for the small portions but when I had my first cup of it at home, my mind was blown away with the taste. I'm glad and very satisfied with the tea. Thank you for your service and for bringing the quality into our daily lives.

When I'm in Delft I always enjoy visiting the English bakery. The owners are friendly and there is a pot of tea that you can pour while you browse around. They have delicious freshly baked goods. Lots of variety! I always get a cheese scone it's so good!! Today I brought sticky toffee pudding and fruitcake. Testing soon! :)

Lots to love about this place, the staff are very friendly and attentive, offering tea and little tasting platters when you arrive. We had the scones and had to come back for more and tried out the steak and ale pie, both of which were delicious. Highly recommend and approved by British baking standards ;)

I tried the brownies and compared to other brownies in Delft I found this one very fresh and tasty. Also very nice and friendly couple. I was welcomed by a tea that made the experience even better. I am curious to try other products.

This cozy shop is run in a cozy street. Upon entering you get offered a free cup of tea to enjoy while taking a look around. Within the lasts months I have tried: 2 different dinner pies with chicken and mushrooms or pulled pork. I normally don't like pulled pork pies but theirs was amazing! I tried many different pastries. Not a single thing has disappointed me. Even pastries I don't usually enjoy much, were good! The scones are the best ones I've ever gotten in The Netherlands and I definitely recommend getting the whole package with their cream, jam and curd.

Small little english food store as i can said it. They have all the english related food like scones, pies, dinners, pastries, cakes and etc. We always get the english pies from them and delicious. We tried the dinner last week and they are delicious, definitely will try more.

Cute little shop in the centre of Delft, it is a bit hidden in a small street but that adds to the coziness. You'll get offered some tea once you enter the shop which is great! The pastries are of amazing quality and really are a treat. For a fair price. Yet to try the pies and other things but I imagine they are great. Going here again for sure!

Zowel de zoete taartjes als de hartige taarten zijn voortreffelijk. De scones smaken fantastisch lekker en de beste die ik ooit heb gegeten! De sticky toffee cake (beetje opgewarmd) met koude clotted cream is zeker een aanrader. De bakkerij overtreft mijn verwachtingen en is een hidden gem in Delft 💎

Absolutely delicious! I've been meaning to come around for a while since I miss savoury pies and The English Bakery did not disappoint. I was only expecting a nostalgic taste but the quality of the pies and pasty exceeded my expectations. It has that feel of grandma's perfected secret pie crust recipe filled only with quality ingredients I was also met with very gracious hospitality and the lady serving took care of me while I shopped with my baby. If you're ever in the centrum do yourself a favor and grab some of their pies for a nice treat when you get home

Bij toeval stuitte ik op dit fantastische Engelse bakery. Als liefhebber van scones moesten wij deze proeven. Cheddar scones, scones met rozijnen of naturel. Clotted cream, huisgemaakte jam en lemon curd cen zelfs chutney voor de hartige scones. Knapperig van buiten, luchtig van binnen. Wat een ontdekking! Wat ons betreft de beste scones van Nederland!

Wow…. What a fantastic little find in the heart of Delft's small streets. Their home made Cornish pasties were insanely tasty. We bought scones for a cream tea in the afternoon which came with the jam and fresh cream for under 7 euros. Yep f you are looking for a little bit of authentic English home made cooking, this is your place. Loved it. Thank you

Zowel de zoete taartjes en scones als hartige pies zijn ontzettend lekker! Vandaag een heerlijke steak & ale pie gekocht. Je krijgt de opwarm instructie erbij en je kan er makkelijk met 4 mensen van eten. Heerlijk!

They accepted visa, which absolutely no one else does. So A+ for me! Plus the food was good

Had the milk tart which was topped with blueberries and raspberries. Subtly sweet and very fresh. The lemon cake is also something worth trying. The fudge was a little too sweet for me, but complements other savory items in the store like the scones.

This place is fantastic and the owners are super friendly. It's my go to Saturday place. I love trying out their desserts and spoil myself with their delicious Sunday roast. Takes me back to the 5 years i lived in England.

It always surpsided me how hard it was to find home-made non-industrial baked goods in Delft. That's why I am so happy to have found this place! The cheese-cake we tried last weekend at The English Bakery was incredibly delicate and fresh. The scone was sooo crumbly and tasty we went for another one today. If you like lemony things, I strongly recommend the lemon bar. I am excited to try a jackfruit savory pie next time. Sorry for the lack of pics, we were too busy enjoying the food to take one bytI will try to remember picture next time. Cause there will be a next time :)
