Unfortunately, a very disappointing experience. The staff didn't seem to understand me properly and hardly dared to communicate with me. My order was prepared incorrectly. When I pointed out that I hadn't received what I ordered, even though I had already paid, I was completely ignored. No solution was offered, nor was an apology made. I found this very unprofessional. It's a shame, because good service is at least as important as the food.

The loaded fries crispy chicken tasted great. The Flemish fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The staff was friendly.

I miss the old clientele that used to come here, the people before Gastronoom existed. I miss the old atmosphere, the dynamics, the different types of people—young, old—bringing together all kinds of cultures. I actually miss the owners who were at Luciano; with them, you felt right at home immediately. Additionally, I don't find the staff friendly, and the food isn't as special as people thought. Prices are too expensive and not tasty. They are trying to put things in a modern guise, but it just doesn't work.

I ate at De Gastronoom at Volkerakstraat 6 in Arnhem today and really enjoyed it immensely. The Belgian fries were fantastic: beautifully golden brown, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Exactly how good Belgian fries should be. You can tell immediately that they didn't score so highly in the AD Fries Test for nothing. The smashburger was also really top-notch. The brioche bun was perfect: soft, slightly sweet, and just right for the burger. The meat was juicy, well-cooked, and full of flavor. The onions were perfectly caramelized and gave the burger exactly that extra flavor that finishes it off. What also immediately struck me positively was how clean and hygienic everything looked. The open kitchen inspires confidence: you can see that work is done neatly and that attention is paid to quality, freshness, and hygiene. Moreover, the people were super nice and hospitable. You feel welcome immediately and notice that they are proud of their business and their food. For really good Belgian fries, a delicious smashburger, a clean establishment, and friendly service, De Gastronoom at Volkerakstraat 6 in Arnhem is highly recommended. I will definitely be back. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The service was really great! The food was okay. The atmosphere was also quite nice.

After cycling for a while, I was in the mood for a coffee. With a toastie. Delicious toastie with Turkish sausage and a good cappuccino/flat white coffee. Really top-notch coffee, super nice and friendly service by a group of five ladies. Really nice and tasty for a quick bite.

I haven't lived in Arnhem for years, but I regularly drive there specifically for their peanut fries. Just a nice chat with Dad or with (the furniture, Petra 😁). I used to go there as a little girl when the previous owner was there. And now with Ali, I think he's doing a good job; the food here is delicious. I find the decor a bit less appealing; a bit bare.

The elderly gentleman didn't serve me. I waited 11 minutes while he stood there talking to a coworker. I don't recommend it. I arrived during my break from work and sweated the entire break waiting for my order. And there were no customers, I was the first one... once again, I don't recommend it. The elderly gentleman should retire.

We were today there an absolut 5 point snack bar. The portion of the food was so big that i had to ask for doggy bag ( what normally never happen with me) the workers were friendy too. We recommend this snackbar for everybody! We gonna go back 100%!

The food here is simply delicious and always freshly prepared. The team is incredibly friendly, kind, and always helpful. You immediately feel welcome and well cared for. I would love to come back and highly recommend this place!

Ordered fries last Sunday and ate them at home with the three of us. Me and my brother had hair in our food twice and the portions were really small this time. For 3 people, fries, two special frikadellen and a bowl of chicken satay cost almost 30 euros.

When I opened my order I saw that they were not stingy with the sauce, in fact I think the jar of sauce needed to be used up. My perfectly cooked fries with a hard crust were swimming in mayo, which unfortunately turned the crust into a soft, snotty, oblong-cut potato, comparable to a floury potato that had been cooked 12 minutes too long. Also quick help here.

Fries are good. Mayonnaise is very sweet, more like Dutch fries sauce. Croquettes contain a lot of flour, which makes them taste rather mealy. Staff are friendly.

De friet is nog steeds de beste uit de hele omgeving. Soms haal je het wel eens ergens anders, tijdgebrek, even iets anders proberen… niet doen! Gewoon bij deze vestiging van de Gastronoom halen. Alleen zij begrijpen hoe je verse friet (ja of patat) bakt.

Heerlijk gegeten. Kip doner schotel en kipfile kapsalon waren zo lekker! Wij komen terug.

Ik ben 2 jaar lang niet meer geweest, maar vond de friet deze x echt heel erg tegenvallen.

Prima tent waar je goed eten kunt kopen voor een prima prijs

Een zeer schone zaak is wat mij als eerste opviel, een goed lachse medewerker kwam voor de bestelling. Het eten is van klasse niveau, niet voor niets een 9,5 op de AD test gescoord. De prijs is ook echt betaalbaar. Enige minpunt is het ontbreken van een afvalbak, al kan die op dat moment natuurlijk net geleegd zijn. Tot snel.

Als sinds ik op de basisschool zat kom ik bij de Gastronoom. In de basis nog steeds hetzelfde, wel gemoderniseerd. Nog steeds dezelfde heerlijke friet...

Was prima..alleen de satesaus was matig.

Heel lieve vrouw , sympathieke , professionele , hygiënisch, beste plek voor de brazilian wax en after lipo massage te laten doen .ik ben altijd tevreden , top services !! een super aanrader !!

Omdat we zin hadden in patat en we nog wisten dat hier een snackbar zat, hebben we friet besteld. Helaas niet zo lekker. Wij vonden het te melig. Binnen was wel helemaal corona-proof.
