I went here for the first time a week before my vacation. The first time I had a kapsalon with chicken shawarma. And two days later, I had two dishes. The service was excellent, and the food was great.

I did always order gyros from here but what I received today what not even close to a gyros. Different in size, full l of different spices, dark in color meat and shredded in really small pieces with a really bad taste, toss it after 1 bite.

Everything was horrible apart from the fries and the pita. This is not Greek food( or food in general). Such a shame. We’ve been ordering from there for so many years but this was the last time.

Ordered a pita gyros today. Unfortunately, this was a huge disappointment! This had nothing to do with gyros and certainly did not taste like how a pita gyros should taste. The meat was tasteless and there were no fries in the pita. Unfortunately, it was not Greek worthy. Will not order here again. Too bad!

What a filthy scam this is man.... post some nice pictures of gyros. That last picture, that fried shoe sole-like.... THAT'S what you get. And the chicken gyros? That's just very expensive donor kebab. Zeus is turning in his grave.....to puke them empty of their food! And expensive too! DO NOT GET OR ORDER ANYTHING HERE!!!

After a long time I ordered gyros again, not knowing that the owner had changed. This is absolutely NOT gyros. It is a kind of bone-dry minced meat. The only thing that was Greek is the Tzatziki. Too bad it has deteriorated so much.

The Gyros Company used to be one of the best gyros restaurants in Haarlem and surroundings. Unfortunately, today's gyros is the worst gyros I've ever eaten. Very nice staff behind the counter but this doesn't even resemble gyros. Well-meant advice from my side to the new owners: change the recipe because with this gyros you will quickly lose all the regular customers of the old owner. Well-meant advice to potential customers: wait until the recipe has been improved because this is really not a gyros but a kind of dry, rolled snack with oriental herbs. See photo. This container of meat went into the green bin after a few bites. Shame Gyros Company; eternal shame.

The food here was always delicious and affordable. But there is now a new owner and he is certainly not Greek. As mentioned before, the gyros is not gyros, but strangely seasoned tough mutton meat. No crispy and juicy gyros. It was just dirty, you wouldn't dare put something like that in front of your guests. In addition to the fact that the quality has deteriorated considerably with the current owner, the prices have also increased considerably. The staff is very friendly.

Definitely not Greek! Very dry not crispy lamb! Bun thick and soggy! Add an indefinable sauce! Never again!

If you’re craving for a big greek pita to take away, I recommend it. We tried gyros pita and souvlaki pita and we loved the souvlaki one, was honestly great! Real pita dough, tasty meat and well filled, for a reasonable price. The normal pita gyros is more turkish style but still nice

We have been ordering from your place for more than a year. We noticed that the quality the past few months has gone down. I don’t know if it could be a change of management or something but the quality changed. First we noticed the portions being kind of smaller and then the quality started not being as it used to. The last time we ordered, we were not able to eat the potatoes, they were very bad. The rest was just ok (you are the only greek in the area so we do not have a choice really) but you should bring the quality back to how it was before. It's a pity. Delivery times is faster now but it seems to be in the expense of quality.

Came here for the first time from Utrecht to eat because my in-laws are from here…. But this is really not a gyros at all what it should be in my eyes, and the price honestly shocked me... €18 for a gyro fries! In Utrecht I pay €8.50 for a large hair salon... Here they don't understand it and the owner himself is not Greek but of Turkish descent... Staff is friendly, but that's about all... a huge shame!

We have been regular customers for years and order gyros almost every week. Today we were told that the business has been taken over, and to my horror we received dry, tough sheep kebab instead of Greek gyros! I am Greek myself and know what gyros taste like. This did not look like Greek gyros, the spices were Arabic and definitely not Greek! The owner did not meet us, even though we called and explained that this is not gyros and we did not order kebab but gyros, we thought something might have gone wrong with the order, but alas. The owner insisted that this is lamb gyros, but it wasn't. It definitely doesn't look like gyros. The meat was tough and smelled like mutton and kebab. Such a shame, but everything was thrown in the bin...... do you want authentic gyros? or greek food? Do not order here! It doesn't look like it! After years of being regular customers, we are looking for a new Greek business that sells the REAL Pita Gyros like in Greece, too bad!

Delivery is very poor. Delivered 25 minutes late and the order takes 50 minutes to arrive after receiving an email that your order is on its way. In short, you just get cold food. If you report this, they say that it is not possible and that we live 6 km away. Yes, if I pick it up I will get it home within 15 minutes and it will be warm. This was the last time we ordered here. It used to be a lot better.

Previously the food here was top notch and the portions were fine, but things have really deteriorated here in the past year. I tried it again today and found it was not good again and that for almost €20.00. Picked up here for the last time, next time I will drive to the real Greek in IJmuiden.

Waited 2 hours for my food, scheduled delivery appointment made at 7:00 PM, delivered at 9:15 PM. Order was not even complete, food was lukewarm and mediocre. I will never order again🤞🏽

I still come from Haarlem-Zuid to pick up this delicious Greek food here. I get it myself so it's nice and warm. Friendly, good service. This really is my guilty pleasure. To my knowledge, there are no other good Greek takeaway restaurants in the Haarlem region.

The food is okay. The idea that there is a different owner and that has not gotten any better. The person who answers the phone and stands behind the counter cannot speak Dutch. He also has difficulty understanding English.

The food its terrible we have been ordering for 3 time and never ever again. We are from Greece and we know what does mean greek food but this is not a Greek food.

At least 35 euros to order if you are alone sounds like a lot of money. But... It's really worth it. Quality is really great and quantity more than enough. I'll be eating Greek for the next few days 😊. Definitely recommended.

I went with my family today to Haarlem to enjoy Greek food. We love this restaurant, and the food. I notice they have new owners. I was concerned about if the quality of the food should be as good as before, and we noticed there was almost no difference. Good food, big portions, and nice tzatziki saus. Ordered food tonight because the Dekamarkt was closed earlier for Good Friday. And it was so delicious, a good grill flavor on all the meat and the fries were very crispy and tasty, highly recommended, the only downside was that there was little sauce for the amount of meat and fries.

Ordered 2 x pita gyros. Firstly, it had more lettuce than meat on it and secondly, it was stone cold. This is the 2nd time this has happened. No sauce and my sandwich had a black piece of gyros on it. I really live a 2-minute walk from the business and still have cold food. Last time we had it delivered and that took a really long time and again cold food. I will order my food somewhere else where they speak normal Dutch.

We have been regular customers at Gyros Company for over 3 years. From the previous owner we got a mix grill (which was €2.50 cheaper) + about half as much mix meat as now, a large container of Tziziki i. p. v. a mini bowl, salad i. p. v. some garnish, and more fries. Also, the food in general looked more appealing back then. We were very disappointed again (we decided to give it one more chance, hoping this time for value for our money = now € 24.45! It ends now for us.

Placed an order online at 5:00 PM for 6:00 PM. The food was delivered at the requested time by a friendly young man. Food was at a good temperature and very tasty! Even a bit much. ;) In short, recommended!

UPDATE: after a few days there appeared to be activity again and I went there. It was explained to me that they were short staffed and I got my money back. Stay away from here!!. I ordered online and paid, but when I arrived at the store it was completely dark and therefore no food. Telephone calls are also not answered. Money gone and no food. Scammers!

Je kan er ook zitten maar niet gezellig. Lekkere lamskoteletten en Griekse salades!

Complete chaos! Meer dan 2 uur bezorgtijd. Afgelopen zaterdag bleven opa en oma een hapje eten en we besloten grieks te bestellen. Order online geplaatst om 17.45 uur met optie “zo snel mogelijk bezorgen”. Na een tijdje een email met verwachte bezorgtijd van 19.00 uur. Niet echt snel, maar OK. Om 19.30 nog niet bezorgd. Ondertussen proberen te bellen maar constant in-gesprek-toon. Uiteindelijk die kant opgereden. Op locatie volledige chaos en gebrek aan logistieke organisatie. Na uitleg van de situatie, kreeg ik het antwoord: we hebben het veel te druk maar jouw bestelling is net onderweg. De telefoon bleek niet opgeladen en daarom niet bereikbaar. 15 min later nog niets. Weer bellen, nu wel iemand aan de lijn. Ja bestelling was toch nog bij hen, maar kwam er direct aan. Ruim 2 uur later werd onze lauwwarme maaltijden bezorgd. Geen excuses, geen sorry, niets. Eten is OK maar ze hebben duidelijk hun zaken niet op orde.

Het product wat ik bij hun haalde was erg lekker en ben vriendelijk behandeld. En snel klaar en goed ingepakt.

Das Lokal liegt an einer Strassenecke, vor der Tür gibt es Aussenplätze, aber gegenüber sind noch weitere schöne Plätze. Der Chef und sein Team sind aufmerksam und der Service erfolgt rasch. Preis Leistung der Speisekarte liegt absolut im Rahmen. Unsere Wahl, gemäß den Bildern, war sehr lecker und ausreichend von der Menge. Das nächste Mal probieren wir eine Runde Fleisch aus. Wir kommen somit auf alle Fälle wieder 😇😉

De hoeveelheid eten die je krijgt is meer dan genoeg, kwaliteit is een stuk minder. Patat heel zout, vlees erg smakeloos en droog. Voor ons de eerste en laatste keer.

I hate to write a bad review. This food is good! But the dilivery and service is horrible. We waited 1 1/2 hours for our food then I road my bike to the restaurant in hopes to pick it up. They where rude and seamed very irritated with me. They acted as if they had no idea about my order. While speaking to my husband on the phone the dilivery dude finaly showed up. I'm pretty sure the guy behind the counter sent him a message. No apology. No nothing. I live a 3 minutes bike ride from this place and the dilivery guy I'm pretty sure was on a scooter. If you own a place that delivers food, know it does not matter how good your food is if it shows up hours later and cold.

Met uitzondering van de salade was het eten toen het kwam, goed. Waar The Gyros Company wel enige tijd aan mag besteden, is de organisatie. Om 17.10 uur ontvang ik bevestiging van het via de app bestelde eten. Als tijdstip van bezorging staat in de e-mail 18.10 uur. Om 19.45 uur maar eens gaan bellen. Er is iets verkeerd gegaan. Wat er verkeerd is gegaan, krijg ik niet te horen. Het eten wordt om 20.00 uur bezorgd. Om 23.48 uur ontvang ik de status van de bestelling: de bestelling is onderweg.

I got mixed kebab last night.The taste was very good , so delicious and nice , it was a fast delivery just I didn't know the bread is so small and I didn't have bread at home. also it was better to include tissue and plastic fork and knife for it. I think the price is high.
