The Harbour Club Vinkeveen in Vinkeveen

This is a restaurant trying very hard to be something it isn't. From a distance its a fashionable exclusive place to dine and enjoy an evening. In reality only bill fits that (very over priced). The service was chaotic, wrong food, wrong table, 4 different waiters and waitresses. The quality of the food was food, but massively over priced, so much so took away any other positives. Decor is miss match and trying to be an Ibiza harbour cool bar/restaurant. But in reality shabby, misfitting decor that needs renewing. Not worth a visit in my opinion.

It's a unique place, but not one to visit if you enjoy a cozy atmosphere. The cuisine is inventive, the dishes are of excellent quality, and all at a rather high price, but all my evenings at this restaurant have remained unforgettable moments, with unique memories.

We hebben een geweldige avond gehad bij The Harbour Club! De sushi's was echt fantastisch en vol van smaak. Zeker een aanrader voor liefhebbers van goede sushi. Wat onze avond helemaal compleet maakte, was de service van onze ober Evaib. Ze zorgde voor een fijne sfeer, dacht met alles mee en heeft ons echt een topavond bezorgd.

Omdat wij vorig maand erg hadden genoten van ons verblijf bij hotel Leonardo en het dinner bij The Harbour Club hadden wilde we graag terug komen. Dit keer hadden we een arrangement met overnachting met ontbijt en dinner geboekt. We werden hartelijk ontvangen en we kregen de tafel waar ik om gevraagd had. Bij elke gang kregen we een goede uitleg. En alles was met veel zorg en smaak bereid. Het personeel is heel gastvrij en behulpzaam ook deze keer hebben we erg genoten. Zowel van het hotel als van het restaurant. En nu er weg werkzaamheden zijn op de A2 was het erg fijn dat wij niet met de auto kwamen maar met de boot die we zo voor het hotel konden aanleggen. We komen graag nog een keer terug.

Upon arrival we were ignored by the staff. So we sat down at the tables by the water, but no one came. Finally we asked and were told that they did not serve there, but at the tables that were 2 meters away. There was no one else on the terrace. What bad service. We just left.

We had made a reservation outside, but when we arrived we were told that this was no longer possible. We were placed inside where loud music was playing. The place was quite full, but the noise certainly did not make it cozy. We said that we would leave again, so they went to see if there was room outside. There was more than enough. There were still tables available and shortly after our arrival several more became available, some of which were assigned during the evening. The menu was quite limited and very expensive, which led us to suspect that it would be culinary. At the table we were served by English-speaking people (even though we were in the Netherlands). In itself not so bad since it has an international character, but the service was clearly rushed and very superficial. It did not match the image that they want to maintain. Apparently it was noticed and we were served by a spontaneous, friendly lady. She was able to end the evening positively. We were looking forward to a cozy, culinary, spontaneous evening that we would have paid a lot of money for, but it turned out to be a disappointment that cost a lot of money. I can't say that the food is bad, but you can't call this culinary either. It also has a certain rush, which doesn't fit in this setting.

All time favourite restaurant, nice sushi nice sashimi and quality steaks. Great to spend time with friends and family next to the water, eerlijke !!!

Great food beautiful location. Service wise you get more attention at McDonald's. They really need to have someone coordinating all the service staff. (Instead of flirting with a select few). They are very good at making you wait endlessly. Waiting before they, mix and serve the steak tartare while it sitting by your table in the hot sun. Letting you wait for simple drink orders. Waiting for someone to come by and clean out your finished courses And when you are tired of waiting to order a coffee, you go and order it at the desk, they still let you wait for 30min before serving coffee. And it is not because they are short staffed. They just seem to lose interest after you initially ordered.

What a bad service! No attention at all for us, we always had to ask if someone wanted to come to us. Nothing with a smile, all haughty. We were placed at a table that clearly did not belong to the terrace, it was just the smokers table. While it was said that there was room. Unfortunately bad experience

Wanted to drink a cup of coffee, the boy who brought it was very friendly. We were looked away as if we didn't belong there. Too bad, because we wanted to see if we could give someone a present. Missed opportunity. Looks don't always beat the wallet.

The reception was attentive. We didn't have a reservation and arrived close to the kitchen's break time, but we were warned and accommodated. The prices are expensive. The tables near the windows are very sunny, and we tried to move the curtains slightly to block the sun. A hostile employee then complained that we had pulled the curtains and "destroyed" them. He said the curtains were merely decorative. What actually happened was that one end of the curtain came off the track. I found the approach hostile and inelegant, and I also thought it unwise to put up a curtain that isn't functional and can't be used to block out the light. In short, a fancy and expensive place with a very unfriendly employee.

We had a free 2-course meal from American Express and we had a wonderful experience! We ere lucky to have a warm sunny day in April so we could sit outside. The atmosphere was very relaxed and the service was excellent. The meals we had were extremely high quality and delicious! We could choose from 2 options and both options were great. We will definitely go back to try other dishes.

Prachtig weer! Gereserveerd voor de lunch, echter het terras aan het water was gesloten (?!), dus zaten we aan een 'gewoon' tafeltje. vooral niet aan het water... Had op elk ander terras, een stuk minder ver rijden ook gekund. De menukaart laat op sommige punten te wensen over; alleen zoet als dessert, geen kaas. Het was goed om Thije als ober te hebben. Hij 'redde' de middag een beetje. Al met al, teveel geld kwijt voor te weinig ambiance (want terras aan water gesloten) en niet heel bijzondere gerechten. We gaan voortaan ergens anders heen...

Disappointing experience for a high price We had average expectations, especially considering the price of €260, but unfortunately we were very disappointed. We understand that it is not fine dining, but you can expect taste. From the extensive menu we only ate the first course — we left the rest and left early. First course: -Sushi: tasty, but nothing special. Oysters: had a nasty aftertaste, reminded of chlorine or swimming pool water — definitely not fresh. -Fried chicken: seemed to come straight from the freezer section of the supermarket. Dry taste was completely absent. Second course (took a bite, then stopped): Beef taco: cheap, unseasoned minced meat with some melted cheese — more like something you make at home in 5 minutes. Tuna taco: overwhelmed by sauce, barely tasteable tuna. Wagyu burger: the biggest disappointment. No recognition of wagyu quality, tasteless and dry. Shrimp: not worth mentioning, probably from the freezer. For this price you expect a culinary experience – this felt more like a disappointing street food concept in a luxury jacket. Conclusion: price-quality ratio completely lost. Not recommended

For the same price we ate at The Duchess right after, but we were able to enjoy the good service and food. This was inedible, everything was left on the table except the sushi

Just came in drove past asked nicely is there room for 2 they said yes. Now I park my car wife happy after nagging me all day. Now access denied because I am wearing a tracksuit now in I don't know if they understand that this is the fashion of now it will be. But well I can't say anything about the food whether it is tasty or not I would definitely recommend another restaurant if you are not elite👍🏼

Strange sensation. Nice and young employees. They were just audibly discussing with each other. It's not convenient anyway. The food was tasty, we followed the advice of the staff. But the atmosphere was not to my taste. Busy and noisy and also loud music. I won't go there again myself.

We ordered food with a group. Then it was brought and two dishes were forgotten. We indicated this and then we were told, you are right, you did order that, but sorry, the kitchen is already closed. Nothing has been arranged at all. Didn't get anything further either. They said it's not on the receipt. Very bad service.

Always love the sushi here. We sat outside and it was nice, but I was unlucky that there was a lady sitting next to me and her perfume was so overpowering that I could hardly taste anything anymore. Really nasty. But of course the harbor club can't do anything about it. Could have asked for another place. It's expensive here, but you know that when you go here. We now had a very nice professional boy, but I have also experienced inferior service. Satisfied for this time.

We had two fantastic lunches here whilst having meetings in the adjoining event centre.

Super ontvangen en Heerlijk gegeten! Charmante Gastvrouw Zee heeft ons zeer hartelijk ontvangen en alles tot in de puntjes geregeld. Zelfs champagne met vuurwerk, wow, wat een warm welkom was dat ! In de keuken heeft John hemels lekkere sushi gemaakt. Het was super lekker en het zag er ook allemaal prachtig uit. Wat een feest ! Bedienden Tije en Buti waren uitermate vriendelijk, hebben gezellig met ons gebabbeld en hebben ervoor gezorgd dat het ons aan niets ontbrak. Wat een kanjers allemaal ! Zee, John, Tije en Buti (en uiteraard de rest van het team) , nogmaals heel hartelijk dank, jullie maken eten bij de Harbour een feest ! Ga zo door, we komen heel graag weer terug.

Culinary indulgence with top service! Great welcome and delicious food! Charming Hostess Zee received us very warmly and arranged everything down to the last detail. Even champagne with fireworks, wow, what a warm welcome that was! John has made heavenly delicious sushi in the kitchen. It was delicious and it all looked beautiful. What a party! Employees Tije and Buti were extremely friendly, had a nice chat with us and made sure that we lacked nothing. What great guys! Zee, John, Tije and Buti (and of course the rest of the team), thank you very much again, you make eating at the Harbor a party! Keep it up, we would love to come back again.

The food was fantastic, everything inside was perfect. Super quality, the meat, the sushi, the prawns, Tataki, everything. Meat divine. Wine perfect, chilled just like the water. Outside in the afternoon left something to be desired. Orders were not running smoothly outside. No cooler with the bottle of cava, it was placed on the table in the sun. Service also took quite a while. Olives never came. The evening makes up for it. The view in the afternoon too. About the evening, nothing but praise. We will do this more often.

Mediocre atmosphere and experience. It's a real shame that nothing with chicken on the menu was available because, "it only arrived tonight." The beer glass was placed incorrectly next to the coaster and the logo was not properly placed, and the wine was poured in a mess. I expect much... much better from such a restaurant and prices.

Prima gegeten en heel gezellig. Twee jongemannen die zeer attent waren. Eentje die zeer gepassioneerd en deskundig over de wijnen vertelde en de ander (Tije) die buitengewoon vriendelijk het eten serveerde en ook nog zijn excuus aanbood omdat hij bij het afruimen zag dat er een miniscuul graatje van de zeebaars op mijn bord lag. 'Echt hoor, dat gebeurt me normaal nooit. De vis moet 100 procent graadvrij zijn, dus sorry daarvoor.' Waar vind je nog zulk personeel tegenwoordig?

What a fantastic experience at The Harbour Club Vinkenveen! The sushi and meat platters were phenomenal and a true feast for the taste buds. The dishes were fresh, beautifully presented, and exceptionally flavorful. What also truly impressed us was the remarkably good hospitality and service: the staff was attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home. In short, an absolute must if you enjoy delicious food and a pleasant atmosphere. We will definitely be back!

The food was delicious! The food is really good. The service was very friendly and enthusiastic. A few things to improve: the music was very loud (we were sitting under the speakers), the bread we ordered beforehand didn't arrive, and after our drinks, the waiter didn't ask if we wanted anything else. Minor issues, otherwise we had a wonderful evening!

Come from 2000 km and we wanted to eat but we couldn’t because of the hosstes who told us we are wrong dressed for the fancy restaurant.

The food was delicious and presented in an original way. The service was a bit over the top, but correct. When we paid, we noticed we were charged €13.00 for a single glass of red wine! Instead of the carafe of water we ordered, we received a bottle for €7.50. One cappuccino: €4.50.

With nice weather you can enjoy the large terrace at the Vinkeveense Plassen. But now in January I enjoyed it again. The atmosphere of the interior remains beautiful. This time also very nicely received by young guest behind the bar. First a drink, of course they have a very nice wine list. Here you can go crazy and order a Jeroboam Champagne. The public is mixed but has something to spend, that is necessary otherwise you will not get very far here. If the Vinkeveeners of the Baambrugse Zuwe want to eat nearby they go here. Smooth young service that looks carefully if something is needed, very important. Sympathetic too. We mainly took the smaller dishes to share. See the photos, all very tastefully presented and it was all very tasty. Only the dish Pumpkin curry was not so successful; the pumpkin was much too hard and the combination with the flat oven bread was not that great and curry was not really findable. Otherwise only praise, sharing small dishes is just fun food, cozy too. I can recommend everyone to eat here….

Very bad manager speaks very unclearly and curses customers due to bad service

Today for the first time at harbour club vinkeveen after a friendly welcome we got a less friendly neighborhood runner, the lady was very blunt and curt also the lady reacted very catty to normal questions about the food, in contrast to her other colleagues who were very nice and customer friendly. There was also a dj present who played nice music, but at one point it was so loud that even the staff indicated that they could not understand us, For the rest the food was tasty, we often visit other locations of harbour where we are very satisfied with the service, but here we do not have to come back

Zeer slecht! Bediening langzaam. Rauwe en koude biefstuk… Deze niet opgegeten, maar gewoon op de rekening zetten en als compensatie een glaasje limoncello aanbieden. Nee bedankt!!

We hadden zin om lekker culinaire te eten, dus we pakte de afslag vanaf de A2 naar The Harbour Club we werden warm welkom geheten door Teije. Hij hielp ons direct aan tafel de sfeer en service vanuit hem was erg goed. Ik vond het prettig dat hij product kennis had over de gerechten die op tafel werden geserveerd. Hij wist goed welke wijnen er bij paste het was zeer aangenaam en zeker een terugkomer.

Unacceptable! I had an expensive gift card, and it suddenly couldn't be used four days after its expiration date. No leniency whatsoever, and the staff was rude and not helpful at all. The food was bad last time - I will never come back here again!

Vanavond gegeten bij Harbour Club Vinkeveen. Hele fijne ervaring, voornamelijk door de vriendelijke & gastvrije ober! Dank je wel Teije!

2e avond op rij binnen arrangement bij hotel maar toch een compleet ander menu geserveerd. 2e avond nog beter als de 1e. Tartaar werd aan tafel bereid, daarna oesters, heerlijke zalm & buikspek en afgesloten met een heerlijk dessert. Er werd in alles rekening gehouden met de allergieën van mijn vrouw. De bediening was beide avonden erg vriendelijk en attent.

In eerste instantie zaten we niet aan een fijne tafel met veel overlast van muziek. Na overleg met de over Teije hebben we een hele fijne andere rustige tafel gekregen en hebben wij een hele fijne avond gehad. Teije heeft ons de hele avond heel goed verzorgd.

Gunstige locatie en mooie inrichting. Classy but casual. Hele attente en vriendelijke bediening. Teye die aan tafel een perfecte steak tartaar prepareert.

Je word als een kneusje naar je plaats gewezen , serveerder laat eten op tafel vallen wat kokend heet is , bovendien smaakt de friet voor geen meter van de jumbo is die nog lekkerder en de sushi heeft zeker een geen japanse kok bereid want die smaakte ook nergens naar . Kortom ze denken dat ze heel wat zijn met hun 3 tafeltjes aan het water maar het eten van de jumbo is lekkerder en ohja je moet een uur wachten voor ze een bestelling komen opnemen

Super plek en lekker eten. Teije heeft ons bediend en de Harbour Club mag in haar handjes knijpen met dit soort personeel. Neemt zijn werk heel serieus en heeft honderd procent hoog potentieel!

The harbour club steak and steak tartare were just ok. We loved the pulpo; sadly, it was only three bites. The porkbelly looked really promising, as the representation was very nice, but it was too salty to eat.. The panna cotta dessert lacked some sour sauce on top, as it now was just a milky taste. The pineapple on top tasted weird too. The aesthetics and vibes of the food and restaurant were all top-notch, but the food was rather disappointing. The cocktails were pretty good. Staff was friendly and attentive too. Rather pricy for what you get though.

Enjoyed a delicious lunch outside on the terrace with a friend last Friday, but it was a shame that we did not get the reserved spot on the water (already discussed a few weeks ago) and that the lady who took the order was rather curt, the rest of the staff was very friendly . Afterwards it turned out that we should have paid €20 for the Verdejo, which costs €7.50 per glass. No response will be given to email contact. No class Harbor Club.

What a treat on all fronts! Fantastic food (thanks chef!), a good vibe and knowledgeable staff. Our enthusiastic enjoyment was contagious to the service. We had a surprise menu in combination with a hotel stay, the chef was in absolute top form and explained his dishes with passion. Highly recommended and we will definitely come back.
