Yesterday I had a very disappointing and terrible experience at this restaurant. The food quality was extremely poor. The mangú tasted like it had been made days earlier and simply reheated. It was jut old mashed boiled plantain, dry, hard with not even 1 pinch of seasoning it was completely lacking flavor. The chicharrón was just as bad, overcooked and very tough, making it hard to chew. It was honestly difficult to eat, I almost broke my teeth. We also ordered yuca sancochada, which was nothing more than plain boiled yuca thrown on a plate with no seasoning or care. To make matters worse, when it was time to pay, the prices didn’t match what was listed on the menu, suddenly everything on the menu had doubled in price and we were charged significantly more than expected. Overall, a very frustrating experience. Poor food, poor value, and not worth the visit. Do yourself a favor and and don’t waste your time. Definitely not recommended!!!!!

Yesterday we went to this restaurant and it was honestly one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. Not long after eating, I ended up with stomach pain, which already says a lot. The mangú was clearly not fresh, it tasted like old, plain mashed plantain with zero flavor, like nothing had been added at all. We even had to ask for butter and salt just to try to make it edible, but that didn’t help at all because it was so hard and old. The chicharrón was even worse, it didn’t taste clean, and you could literally taste the pork in a way that made it seem like it hadn’t been properly washed or prepared. We also ordered yuca sancochada, but what we got was just plain boiled yuca with a few onions thrown on top, not even close to what the dish is supposed to be. Honestly, we regret not getting up and leaving the moment we saw the food. Instead, we forced ourselves to eat that disgusting food, and that was a big mistake. Huge regret. To make things worse, the pricing felt completely dishonest. Drinks listed at €3.50 on the menu were doubled on the final bill, and rice that was also marked €3.50 ended up costing €7. No explanation, no warning. Overall, very disappointing experience. Poor food quality, questionable hygiene, and misleading prices. I would not recommend this place at all, you’re honestly better off making it yourself at home, it would be a million times better. Lastly, we received a sticky note with a number on it…. that was the receipt. Just disappointed

The food is terrible! The beans are like water and have little flavor. The meat is okay, and the rice too, but definitely not worth €22 a dish.

I had a very disappointing experience here. I found hair in my food, which is unacceptable for any restaurant. When I asked for a refund, I was only given a part back instead of a full refund for the meal.I hope the management improves both hygiene standards and how they handle situations like this

A SCAM!!!! We ordered drinks from the menu which said 3,50 but for some reason she gave us the 5 euros version that wasn't even on the menu and she said nothing. Then we ordered bandeja paisa which is supposed so be 20 but turned out to be 25 for no reason again (supposed to be more portion but I've ordered online and that's a lie). Lastly, they charged 3 for a take-away box but didn't let us know how much it would be. Super dissapointed, when I asked the server she said it was her fault but would not compensate. They lost a loyal customer☹️

Theft don't go here! They are not honest about the prices their menu gives a completely different price than the bill that came which was more than 10 euros more! When I saw the price I doubted because the menu really said something different but before I knew it they had pin machine at my phone. Very unfortunate it is not about how much but be honest!

Last time ordering here, who prepares spaghettis with bones? Only here, bad presentation and certainly not worth to pay for food which is not made with love… just so y’ll know their “Bandeja Paisa” isn’t worth to order neither, very tasteless as their other watering food.

In that bar they steal everything you have left, that is, robbery.

It’s always a treat going here for lunch or dinner. The food is always so flavourful and gives you that authentic home-made feeling when you eat anything from the menu. This time around I had the goat meat, with peas & rice, and tostones on the side. So sooooo good!! Literally finger licking good. I only wish that they would be less shy on the portions when it comes to plantain as you literally get one slice and one spoon of potato salad on the side - that’s quite unfortunate. All in all, you get a full DR experience with the atmosphere there which is nice. I can’t recommend this place enough, you have to try this gem at least once and just eat your heart out!!!

To start with, I was there yesterday and a girl robbed us. We ordered 2 buckets, 1 soup and 1 meat. The total according to the menu was €51. She charged us €84 and she was arguing with her big mouth, with no manners and all vulgar, that she was right and that everything was fine. To start with, she was drunk and drinking with other people. Stay away from that place, it's the worst.

Food is amazing. Like a home cooked meal in the Caribbean. Delicious! It took a very long time to be served though, even though the place was practically empty when I arrived there. In the end it was worth the wait though. But not someplace I would go to if I didn't have the time to wait so long.

Very lovely spot we grabbed early dinner. Food was great and service was good. Definitely worth a try.

Horrible food, old heavy oil €17 that little food the food was so horrible that the oil was old I don't recommend that restaurant at all the only good thing it has is the beer which is cold but after bad food it dawned they should close it

If you like bachata while you are having lunch, this is your place. Good food! The ox tail, rice with guandules, tostones, fried yuca and coconut dessert were really good. Interesting mix the rice with coca-cola.

Food is delicious! Everything tastes very good and the portions are large. We waited more than 2 hours for our food to be served. The restaurant does not have A/C or fans.

Good caribbean food, waited a lil long for our food but good ambience

Dinner was delicious. One night I had the rabo, better known as ox tail, and the moro. Tonight I had the pegacho, chicken breast in mushroom sauce, fried red onions and boiled yuca. The food was amazing. The music was a bit loud, but that kind of belongs to the culture in my experience. Great ambiance!
