Saw them on TikTok. Came by for a take out. Adana kebab durum was delicious!!! Service was great, got an extra sauce.

I had a truly disappointing experience at Ottoman. The food was really bad—it didn’t taste fresh at all. The appetizers were underwhelming, and the prices were way too high for what you get. On top of that, the service was awful. Also, the smell in the restaurant was strange—like raw meat or something not fresh. The food itself lacked any real seasoning, despite how known Turkish cuisine is for being tasty, juicy, and delicious. This was truly unexpected on every level.

We had dinner with 14 people yesterday and everyone was very satisfied. One of us just missed the rice, but after we mentioned it, it was immediately resolved properly. Delicious mixed grills and yaprak döner! The owner is also very friendly and understanding regarding the noise we made because of a birthday celebration 😄 We will definitely be back. Today, we went to Ottoman for dinner as a family. The meats were amazing, especially the leaf-wrapped döner, which was perfectly cooked. I'd never seen anything like it in the Netherlands before. It was quite crowded when we arrived, but despite that, they took very good care of us. Sending us appetizers beforehand because they knew we'd have to wait a bit was a very thoughtful gesture, thank you. I will definitely visit again when I'm in Eindhoven.

We went to Ottoman today, 3 adults and 2 children, and ordered food. After half an hour we received food for 3 people, then 10 tokens later we received food for 1 portion, and after another 10 tokens we received food for a 5th portion, but the food was cold and we didn't order dragons on time either. We asked 5 times and only then received dragons. It wasn't busy either. We went around 4 PM and there wasn't a single customer. It wasn't normal. Never go there, and neither does my acquaintance; actually, they don't deserve a damn thing.

Ik kan wel zeggen dat het slechtste restaurant van Eindhoven is. Het eten is absoluut nog geen derde van de prijs waard. Je bestelt een kleine schotel, maar bij het afrekenen blijkt dat ze er een grote van hebben gemaakt, terwijl de portie op het bord helemaal niet groot is. Eén gerecht was zo slecht dat we het niet konden eten. Daarna bestelden we iets anders, maar dat was nog erger. Enorme teleurstelling. Ik zal hier nooit meer naartoe gaan. (I can confidently say this is the worst restaurant in Eindhoven. The food is absolutely not worth a third of the price. You order a small portion, but they charge you a large portion when you pay; and the portion on the plate doesn't look large at all. One dish was so bad we couldn't eat it. Then we ordered something else, but that was even worse. A huge disappointment. I will never come here again. If I had the chance to give zero points, that would be the highest score I would give.)

Delicious food. Not fast food, but real Turkish food. Pure flavors. We enjoyed it. We had the Ottoman special and didn't regret it.

If you want to get sick, order here. Ordered a plate of chicken wings and soup, threw everything in the trash. Raw meat and got really nauseous from it. Then you call and ask if you can at least get half the money back to order something else, and they won't do that!!

Update! I had commented on a post about this restaurant on social media. They responded respectfully and suggested we give it another try. Well, we did just that. And we are so glad we gave this restaurant another chance. Everything, and I mean literally everything, has improved! They are friendly, considerate regarding allergies, and you are not forced to do anything like before. The food was delicious, and naturally, we will be coming back to enjoy ourselves here again from now on! The restaurant has been renovated from top to bottom and has a professional attitude. My previous review: We were forced to order sauce with our food, for which you simply have to pay separately. And going without sauce was not an option for them. I really don't think this is polite, so we left without ordering. We have been here a few times before and the food wasn't bad then, hence the 3 stars. How we were treated today is unacceptable, so we will not be coming back.

We went for the adana sandwich. Adana was mediocre. Not wow. But not bad. We payed 40 euros for 3 tiny breads. Its been a long time that I gave this low points. I expect my belly to be at least half full when i pay 13.5 euros for a sandwich. Mediocre taste. Tge chefs were friendly, the host girl is uninteressed in her job. Very expensive for what you get. There is free Turkish tea though. I wouldnt go again.

My number 1 tent, the Yaprak, is the best you can get. I order at least twice a week; it's always good and nice. Top tent.

It isn't what it used to be. Kapsalon with much less meat. Much less vegetables. And much less cheese. What you do get is a full bowl of soggy potato slices? And all that for full price, of course.

The doner kebabs are awful, tasteless, bland, cold, and hardly worthy of being called doner kebabs. My stomach hurt after eating it, and I won't eat there again within an hour. No one in their right mind would pay €10.50 for a doner kebab; I'd rather go eat a leaf doner kebab and get an ayran for €3. Have some mercy!

Absolutely terrible. I waited over two hours for a small, disgusting kofte sandwich. It literally had two pieces of kofte on it, and the rest was a soggy lettuce roll. And all that for €13.50 per sandwich. I already thought it was ridiculous that you pay €3 extra for cheddar cheese instead of regular cheese at a Kapsalon. I thought I'd try a sandwich once, but I'll never order/get one from here again. These guys should be ashamed of themselves. And this isn't just a one-time order; I've ordered/taken one from here many times. So, if you want a good meal, absolutely don't order anything from here. Be warned, folks.

Great place with top-quality food. Wow, the mixed grill from the BBQ was delicious! And it didn't take long for it to arrive.

Although the walls are under renovation as it's about to merge with the new pastry shop opening next door, the delicious lamb skewers, the döner kebab, and the friendly service make the atmosphere seem insignificant to me. I'd also like to thank the entire team repeatedly for the crispy, real pistachio baklava. I'm so glad you exist. I haven't eaten lamb this good anywhere else on Bağdat Street in Istanbul. It was fate that I found it here.

The delivery driver delivered my food to the wrong address, the apartment across from us. He was very unsociable and lied about calling. At one point, he even said, "You figure it out for yourself." I paid €45 for my order, and when I saw how he had delivered it, I was really disappointed. I called the restaurant, but they said I had to arrange it with Thuisbezorgd. Fortunately, Thuisbezorgd eventually had my food delivered again. Because the food had been sitting outside for over 30 minutes, I left it. By then, it was cold and unsanitary, and absolutely unfit to eat. The whole experience was extremely poor and unprofessional. The delivery driver was unfriendly, rude, and unhelpful, and the restaurant took no responsibility whatsoever. I will never order from this restaurant again, and I strongly advise everyone against ordering from them.

I used to come here weekly for the delicious beyti. The portions were large, well-seasoned, and always more than enough. Unfortunately, that's changed considerably since the restaurant moved or renovated. I tried it again last week, but I got super-thin slices of beyti with barely any meat. The flavor was barely there, and the portion was suddenly so small that I finished it in a few bites, whereas before, I could barely finish it. It seems like they've cut back on ingredients and portions since the new place opened. It's a shame, because this was my regular spot for years. But with these changes, I unfortunately see no reason to return.

We went here for dinner on a friend's recommendation, and wow! Authentic charcoal and wood-fired grill, and friendly service. We went again, this time during peak hours, expecting a slightly longer wait, but thankfully, it wasn't too bad. The kitchen is open, so you can see how well-coordinated the team is and how incredibly clean everything is.

Congratulations! I had a delicious yaprak döner from the wood fire. I used to always go to Antwerp or Rotterdam to eat that, but now the Ottoman has opened in Eindhoven. Truly fantastic, keep it up! I don't have to leave Eindhoven to eat yaprak döner from the wood fire anymore.

It's one of the few places that doesn't offer frozen lahmacun heated in a toaster oven, but makes fresh lahmacun... but of course it's not real stone oven wood lahmacun either...

Bad experience with delivery. I was waiting 2 hours almost and when I called them to cancel my order they told me is not possible because I ordered from Thuisbezorg. And in the app was say only the store could cancel the order because they handle the delivery. If you can't handle such amount of orders just don't accept more orders that day.

A few years ago, the food here was good and you got a lot for your money. In 2025, the dishes will be the same size, but there will be less rice and meat, and the bread they serve with it will be hard. Not worth €17.95. Pizzas have stayed the same price but have gotten smaller. I say no to shrinking inflation.

Food ordered at 6:21 PM arrived at 9:19 PM after 30 calls, they finally answered and told me they couldn't find the order, which was incorrect. The meat contained a lot of fat – some pieces were just pure fat. The fries were soaked with old oil and smelled like it too. The salad was really minimal. The bread had become soggy from the fat of the meat and the fries. Everything was messily placed on one plate, without any care. Cutlery came in a paper bag that looked used. The table was full of crumbs. The toilet was dirty. The garbage bin was overflowing. My coke, which I had already ordered and paid for, was not brought. When I went to ask, the employee literally said: “You paid, right? Get it from the fridge yourself.” In addition, I saw a waiter drop cutlery on the floor and then just put it on the table of other guests. That says enough for me about the hygiene. The staff was not friendly, not involved. No welcome, no attention. I paid €25 for this experience and regretted it as soon as I tasted it. Not a second time for me. I hope this helps others make a better choice.

I rate the capsalon: it was average and not literal. I really ate much better in the area. However, the sauce was very good, unique. There is no such thing in the area.

The yaprak döner was wonderfully tender and freshly prepared, while the Adana kebab was perfectly seasoned and grilled everything was neat and clean, and the staff was incredibly friendly and hospitable. You notice that a lot of attention is paid to quality and authenticity here. In short, highly recommended for lovers of Turkish cuisine. We will definitely come back here!

Got Durum chicken doner yesterday. It's on the card for 8 euros, boy, let me pay 8.5. Well, fine. Then a pan under the grill containing small pieces of chicken doner is placed in the grill and heated very briefly without moving. This leaves only small, hard, dry pieces in the durum. A mountain of lettuce and cucumber, tomato and those little shreds. The real warming up took place under the contact grill. Threw away after 2 bites. Not edible, way too expensive.

Ordered and ate there several times and the quality is always top notch and so is the price/quality ratio. Service always good and yesterday great. My friend had ordered the wrong sis and he called to see if he could pick up the sis chicken fillet as a repeat order. He arrived and it was already prepared and even for free. This is not necessary, but it makes a difference.
