The Poké Box Weena in Rotterdam Centrum

The restaurant was closed at 5:30 on Saturday afternoon with a "staff wanted" sign. It was marked as open on maps, so I walked there for nothing.

I’ve been a loyal customer at Poke Box for over a year. After finally filling up my stamp card (10 bowls and over 150 euros later) I was really looking forward to picking up my free poke bowl. But when I did, the staff still charged me 2 euros for “premium” ingredients, without telling me anything in advance. Are you serious? If you advertise a free bowl, then it should be free. Or at the very least, tell your customers beforehand if something isn’t covered. After spending over 150 euros here, I didn’t expect to be nickel-and-dimed for 2 more euros. It’s not about the money, it’s about the principle. Absolutely shameless and disappointing. That’s not how you treat loyal customers. Not coming again.

This was the first place we ate at in Rotterdam, and also my first poke bowl experience ever. The food was delicious and healthy. It was a bit pricey, though. The location, three minutes from the main train station, is, of course, perfect.

Well filled poke bowl. However, the chicken (halal) was thigh fillet which is not my favorite. Could use a little more sauce. For the rest it was all okay

I was on my way to Rotterdam to go to Amsterdam, waiting for the bus I took the opportunity to eat some poke there. Super good!! Very good, we ate the classic and the chicken with teriyaqui sauce and they were very good. Medium quantity sufficient for a meal.

Good place to eat a delicious Poke. They serve you super fast because it is a bar with all the options and you can customize your poke completely or choose one of the predetermined options. You can choose between various rice or mesclun of different green plants as a base. I especially recommend the salmon poke.

Yesterday I paid an extra euro because I ordered brown rice. What a ridiculous measure. Brown rice is no more expensive than white rice in the store. Moreover, what is the cost of 50 to 100 grams of cooked rice. 20 cents? The money is really in the other ingredients. I've been coming here every week for five years, but I think this is really crazy. Furthermore, the food here is still delicious. But this just seems like an easy way to steal money from the customer.

Very good selection of nutritarian whole-food plant-based (WFPB) options! Highly recommend this location to everyone looking for nutritious and health-promoting dishes in Rotterdam. Very close to Centraal station. Price was very good too, considering the quality and variety of ingredients.

Excellent poke bowls: filled to the brim with fresh ingredients and lots of choice. I like the fact that I can choose brown rice and combine it half-and-half with lettuce.

In the evening I had to take the train from Bergen op Zoom to Almere. Around 7 p.m. I decided to get off at Rotterdam Central Station to have a bite to eat, and this place seemed perfect for that. And it was. Preparing the bowl is done while you indicate your preferences. The ingredients all tasted fresh, even the mango. The only striking thing was the shape of the bowl. Instead of the standard round shape it was a square. This square dish was actually too small, the dish towered high above it. The waitress confirmed this by wishing me good luck with eating. Fortunately, I enjoyed everything. If I had lived in Rotterdam, I would have visited more often.

A great place for a quick bite to eat. You can tell from everything that this 'restaurant' is designed for take-away. There are several tables with chairs, but when you arrive, you order at the counter. The employee behind the counter will prepare your bowl on the spot. You wait for this at the counter (it will not be brought to your table). You also do not get drinks from a cup, but you drink from the plastic bottle or can that it comes in. There are chopsticks available to eat with, or a wooden fork. That's a shame. It would make such a difference if they took your order, you paid and they then brought it to your table, preferably with chopsticks or 'normal' cutlery. The poke bowls themselves are very tasty. I ordered a medium Teriyaki Tempeh bowl. This was extremely tasty. The portion was really good for the price. The portion was a little less good for the container it came in (eating without it flying out on all sides was a challenge). But, nothing to complain about the food itself. Very tasty, large portion, good mix of vegetables/toppings and rice. Staff were, as far as I can tell, friendly. Price/quality is certainly good, but I would especially recommend taking away. :)

Restaurants close early in Rotterdam (around 8pm) so we were looking for something we could take back to our hotel for later. We stumbled upon this small poke restaurant and were pleasantly surprised. There a so many options to make a bowl to your liking and you can choose base of brown or white rice (with salad or only salad) plus the toppings you want. We both chose marinated salmon, which was an excellent choice. Everything was fresh, and I chose surimi (crab), avocado, fresh mango, and seaweed. The medium bowl was more than enough and the servings were generous. If you're looking for a healthy and tasty meal, you can't go wrong with these poke bowls.

English I swear that what they have there is pure flavor, I recommend make your own bowl for the 100% experience. The service was great, the girl was very professional and patient, she speaks English so she is very useful, I was really impressed by her attention , speed and friendliness. Her name is Lili, really genius. Coming back to the food they offer a wide variety of toppings, sauce, base. The mango and avocado were exquisite. Please try Is low cost and central Español Les juro que es puro sabor lo que tienen ahí, les recomiendo armar su propio bowl para la experiencia al 100. La atención fue genial, la chica muy profesional y paciente, habla inglés por lo que es muy útil, quedé realmente impresionada por su atención, rapidez y simpatía. Ella es Lili, de verdad genia. Volviendo a la comida ofrecen una amplia variedad de toppins, salsa, base. El mango y la palta/aguacate eran exquisitos. Por favor pruebenlo En cuanto al precio es baratísimo! El poke con un toppin más es 14 euros y el bebestible 2.5 , es central y muy lindo por dentro.

By far my favorite poke restaurant in Rotterdam; love ordering the customised box with soy-marinated salmon and wide choice of fresh vegetable toppings. Also great for home delivery as it arrives well-packed (usually along with a cute, personalised note!).

Drie poké boxen besteld maar helaas was er een mixup bij thuisbezorgd en was het eten niet aangekomen. The Poké Box Weena heeft dit geweldig voor mij opgelost en zelf geregeld met thuisbezorgd dat de bestelling alsnog was bezorgd. Met extra drankjes en een lief briefje. Leuke dames aan de telefoon, super service en het eten was heerlijk!

Hat gut geschmeckt. Ich hatte den Classic normale Größe und bin satt geworden. Schöne Location.

Guter Service und schöne Location. Aber sehr teuer für das was man bekommt. Der Reis war unglaublich trocken und die Portionen sind sehr klein.

Er ging iets mis met mijn bezorging op Uber Eats, waardoor ik mijn bestelling niet kreeg. Ik had een medewerker gesproken van the Poke Box en ze had het probleem voor mij opgelost :). Daarnaast klonk ze heel vriendelijk, empatisch en toen ik de bestelling opnieuw ging bestellen kreeg ik ook wat extraatjes mee. 💗 Eten was zo vers en top! Ik ga zeker eens fysiek langskomen een keertje.

They prepared the pokebowl very fast, the salmon they used was fresh and the overall experience was amazing. Loved the taste of the sauce they used and the freshness of the ingredients.
