We had the delicious, extensive deluxe breakfast and sat at a table in front of the bistro. We were able to order cappuccino with almond milk. The service was very friendly and attentive. Orders were placed at the window. You can also take takeaway.

Toast Egmond is an absolute insider tip! The waffles? Simply insanely good – crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, absolutely delicious. The people there are super friendly, you immediately feel at home. Everything is small, cozy, affordable, and still tastes like grandma's – if not better. If you're in Egmond and don't go there, it's your own fault. Awesome place!

A very nice and wonderful café in the pedestrian zone. The owner is very accommodating. We had a small apple pie with cream and a coffee. Both were delicious. 👍

We only had one day in Egmond aan Zee and chose to start our morning here — the perfect choice! The cappuccino was delicious, the wrap was light and super tasty, and the croissants were amazing — especially the one filled with strawberry jam, it hit just right. And the poffertjes? So good, we came back for more 😄 The owner was just so, so lovely — thank you for the warm welcome. We really hope to come back one day!

The Toast Egmond is a gem, far away from the monotony. In the middle of the shopping street, rather inconspicuous from the outside, you will find the small cafe. Inside, the atmosphere is a mix of retro, children's playgroup and eco-café. There are only a few seats at Toast, so reserve in advance. And now for the most important thing.... 😉 We treated ourselves to the large breakfast platter for two, which wasn't a bad decision. What's on offer here is great, a great selection of delicacies 👍. A clear recommendation for the price-performance ratio and it's delicious too. My conclusion Ambiance: 3 Food: 1 Services: 1

I'm completely over the moon. We were recommended “Toast” by our neighbor, so we stopped by out of curiosity. And what a surprise this was. The owner, very nice with a passion for his work. My boyfriend and I went there for lunch, but I am gluten intolerant. The gentleman indicated that unfortunately he does not serve gluten-free bread because he bakes everything himself, but his father, who lives around the corner, had baked fresh sourdough bread (which I can eat), so he just got two slices from his father for my bread. !! We both had a delicious meal. Also compliments to father for the artisanal piece of bread! Just now, two days later we arrive half an hour before closing time. We were warmly welcomed and surprised. I've never heard of gluten-free poffertjes before, so I didn't assume the gentleman had them. So my friend just ordered poffertjes for himself and I had a nice fresh gravy. Suddenly I was presented with a portion of fresh and gluten-free poffertjes!! I haven't had poffertjes in 5 years so I was really pleasantly surprised. We had such a delicious breakfast there today. The coffee was an absolute delight, as were the waffles, the wraps and the roll with bacon and scrambled eggs. We were served very friendly and felt welcome. I also liked the subtle music in the background and immediately enjoyed it. It's a shame that this cafe isn't in my home near Nuremberg/Germany. Otherwise I would be a regular. Kind regards and maybe we'll see each other again sometime. 😀

We had breakfast there today before our journey home. It was very, very tasty and the price was right. The food is homemade, which you can taste. The service staff was also very friendly. And it is very lovingly furnished. It would be nice if there were such a great restaurant in our home. Definitely recommended 👍.

We regularly visit Egmond and yesterday, August 17, we settled on the terrace of Toast Egmond for the first time. Toast Egmond still uses fair prices and that is a bonus. Everything is fresh. Waffles, poffertjes, cakes, toast and fresh coffee. You are not sitting on a large terrace or at the most fashionable catering company, if you want that, walk a few hundred meters. You will have to put up with a bit more and probably not as fresh and delicious as at Toast Egmond.

We had the deluxe breakfast for two. It was simply delicious and rich. From the fluffy croissant to the best scrambled eggs to the fresh yogurt with fresh strawberries to the extremely delicious wrap as well as great waffles, fresh orange juice and so on. Everything was very tasty, fresh and of very good quality. Great value for money. We will be back

When pictures say more than a thousand words! A MUST when visiting Egmond. Bram and his wife are soooo wonderful hosts and the food and drinks prepared are a delight! Breakfast, snacks, croissants, poffertjes, ice cream, no wish is left unfulfilled here. We are already looking forward to the next time!

We were there for the first time last year and I still think about that incredibly delicious coffee almost every day. We often think about whether we should go to Egmond just for this nice café, because not only was the food super good, the atmosphere was super cozy, but also simply because the owners are such incredibly lovely, nice and warm people. I recommend this café to anyone who goes to Egmond & I'm really looking forward to my next visit! 🤤

This is a cozy place with super friendly staff. The owner serves himself. You can either sit inside or outside on Egmond‘s Main Street, right in front of this restaurant. The food is very delicious - eventhough it was way past the time where breakfast was offered, I was served it anyway, as a surprise by the owner 🙂 If you need to use the restroom, you‘ll get a key and need to walk through the alley right next to the building.
