They recently catered for us twice: once for 50 people and once for 100. Appetizers and food. The food was delivered on time both times and neatly set up with cards indicating what was in each chafing dish. The appetizers were very popular and the food was excellent too. Consequently, all the guests were full of praise for the meal. Toko Asli is helpful in putting together the menu and is willing to make adjustments. A top-notch establishment!

Highly recommended, what an amazing, extensive, and delicious rijsttafel! Toko Asli catered for 30 people for us on Saturday evening. The food was fresh, well-seasoned, and we all enjoyed it immensely. Toko Asli set everything up neatly at the agreed time, and the food stayed warm for a good long time thanks to burners.

I ordered the Asli Rijsttafel for 4 people for my birthday: what an extensive selection and it was delicious. Highly recommended and I'll be back soon!

Ordered for 35 people, 700 euros later, and 10 containers of food. It was empty by the time 15 plates were finished. Then didn't answer after calling 4 times. The food was good, but the quantity unacceptable.

This shop competes with Poesaka Malacca. To compare, I ordered lempers, rissoles, and nasi rames. The waitress is an elderly woman who comes across as a bit curt. The food is mediocre, but the lempers, whose quality I can test, are disappointing. The sticky rice is more like stewed rice porridge; you can squeeze it out of a tube like mayonnaise. 😒 The rissoles are good, and the nasi rames is hmm.

January 25, 2025. Disappointing. The satay ajam wasn't marinated, just chicken pieces, definitely not roasted, luckily it had satay sauce on it. The beef was tough. Next time I'll go to Loosduinen.

Good morning Almira! Great that everything for the catering, menu 3, could still be ordered for our party at such short notice! I would still like to say that the food was fantastic! It was so delicious that some people went back 2 or 3 times to fill a plate! It was clean! Fortunately, I had made a large pan of extra nasi goreng myself just to be on the safe side and that too had taken a hit 😅 The spekkoek was also very tasty! Thank you very much! Yesterday we returned the hot plates; our daughter said I didn't have to wash it, but is that true? We immediately took home a special bowl of nasi kuning rames for ourselves and it tasted delicious again! If we throw a party again, I will immediately order from you again, from Toko Asli! ☀️

We ordered catering for a party and it was really good! They had a nice range of menu options, good prices and they were very flexible when ordering/organising it. They delivered it in all in nice tray’s with heaters under it and even with nice Indonesian decorations. Great service and really great Indonesian food! Will definitely book them again! I got some food today, but when I got home it turned out that I was given the wrong container. Drive back immediately to get the vegetarian rames special I ordered and return the order I received. After all, I think someone else also received the wrong order. The lady simply says that it is the order I requested and that I am actually lying. How do you come up with it after all the effort I put into it? Customer is not king here, never come here again. Disgusting service

This afternoon I was looking for lunch in the Bloemenbuurt with my colleagues when we ended up here. It took a while before we were even noticed. I was not heard at all when I asked if I could decide for myself what I wanted in my meal instead of a meal deal. In the end I paid €9.58 for 504 grams of food, and I could still see the bottom of my bowl. Ridiculous tent! If I could give 0 stars I would.

Gelegen bij het plein bij de Appelstraat, is deze drukbezochte toko altijd een trekpleister waar je bereid bent even in de rij te staan. Mijn keuze viel op een rames schotel met mihoen en je kan je eigen groenten en vlees selecteren, waaronder heerlijke kip cashewnoten en rendang. Wat de bediening betreft, deze was behulpzaam bij het maken van de juiste keuzes, en dat maakte de ervaring des te aangenamer. Het wachten in de rij is absoluut de moeite waard bij Toko Asli. Als je op zoek bent naar heerlijke Indonesische gerechten en de kans wilt hebben om je eigen maaltijd samen te stellen, dan is dit een must-visit voor liefhebbers van de Indonesische keuken.

Gisteren de catering gehad van Toko Asli. Hele vriendelijke mensen die met veel zorg het eten mooi presenteren. Bordjes erbij wat er in zit voor de mensen die het niet weten. Gewoon fantastisch. En het eten, Gewoon heerlijk zoals altijd. Iedereen heeft er van genoten zaten goed vol en we hadden nog over. Met andere woorden zeer aan te bevelen. Mvg. Patrick
