What can I say, been coming here for almost 10 years on a weekly basis because of the food. Price/value is just bang on and the taste never disappoints. Best for a quick good bite without wanting the whole dining experience.

Good Chinese fastfood place, good food, affordable

Had roasted duck, lamb stew, mixed veg. Flavors are bland. Both meat are tough. Food was lukewarm.

This used to be my favorite place, but first they shrunk the portions and then raised the prices. It's not worth going back. There are better restaurants nearby, with tastier and cleaner food. It's a shame you pay so much for so little food.

I ordered a dish of soy chicken with white rice around 6:00 PM on Sunday, December 21, 2025. When the food arrived, the server whispered that it was just soy chicken with rice, adding, "So cheap, what more could you ask for?" I asked if I could return it, but they said no. What I received wasn't soy chicken, but fried chicken, which cost €9.00. The fried chicken had almost no meat, mostly skin, and the white rice wasn't cooked properly. I also noticed that another table's bowl of white rice remained almost untouched.

After the movie, I went here for a bite to eat with my son. I ordered Cha Sieuw with noodles, and my son ordered duck noodle soup. The Cha Sieuw had a whopping 10 tiny pieces of meat. The duck was mostly bone and barely any meat. Now I'm sitting in the bathroom with diarrhea. The hygiene there is absolutely terrible; there was a chlorine smell in the air, as they had just partially mopped the floor. Absolutely not recommended. Once, never again.

Delicious Chinese food. Great quick meal option since they’re very fast. A lot of seats for dining in.

I order soup noodles with pork. The taste actually tasteless and since I was hungry I only drink the broth (bouillons) and eat the dry pork. When i asked for extra bouillons they refuse to give it unless I order another vegetables soup to get only the sauce. I found them inflexible in serving their customers needs, and they were also very unfriendly by serving customers while speaking each other with their own language (cashier and the waiters). Their attitude was very unpleasant. I should never comeback.

I had such a wonderful experience here! The food truly reminded me of Indonesia, both in flavor and atmosphere. The Lele was especially impressive — so crunchy, crispy, and perfectly seasoned, just like the way it’s made back home. It instantly brought back memories of Indonesian street food. The portions are generous, the prices are very reasonable, and the overall quality is excellent. The staff were also friendly, which made the experience even better. I really appreciate places that keep the authentic taste, and this one definitely does. I will absolutely come back again. Thank you for the delicious food and warm service!

The food is fantastic, everything is served quickly and fresh. It has a local feel. The staff doesn't have many words. It's a nice place for a quick bite, not for a full meal.

The cashier was incredibly unfriendly, flustered, even though I was the only one in line and it was relatively quiet. She barely wanted to explain what was on the menu. My food was good, but why on earth is the meat container only half full? And with takeout, you only see it at home. Inside, there's no atmosphere, and I would only eat there if you absolutely have to go straight away. This place really needs to treat its customers better, otherwise, I can tell you, it'll be nothing.

Good price to taste ratio! Spent 23 euros for a plate of sichuan chicken, roasted duck and rice which is very cheap! The foods comes quickly and the taste is good, the duck could have been roasted longer so the skin can be crispy (it’s still very soft so it was a bit fatty for my liking) but you can’t really complain with the price! The portion was big for us so we took leftovers home (0,25 euros for plastic takeaway box) Would come back when in Den Haag

I recently ate here, and the food was delicious and fresh. The staff were friendly and helpful in helping us choose. We had to clean up our own dishes and put them in a container, hence the 4-star service rating instead of 5. Definitely recommended if you want authentic Indonesian food at a good price.

Ming Kee is a restaurant where you can get a good meal for a reasonable price. I mainly eat here for lunch with colleagues, and I've always been very pleased. It's easiest to pay by card, and it's important to know exactly what you want before ordering. There are TV screens and a large menu on the wall for this purpose. You'll receive an order number, which will be announced when your food is ready. So be aware of this.

A really nice place in The Hague with good old-fashioned Chinese food. You can create your own plate with various vegetables and meats. A rijsttafel (rice table) and numerous other dishes are also available. The service is friendly and professional, but also works hard. And for this price, you can hardly eat anywhere else. I always find it a great place to eat.

The cashiers have very different attitudes towards Chinese and foreigners. This makes us feel very uncomfortable.

We always ate here, and we always took home leftovers. We ate here yesterday with 3 people, and it was delicious. The food was dripping in the grease, but we didn't eat anything else. We left it and went straight to bed at home. It's a shame, but no more.

I got the 391. Duck with black pepper sauce and honey. The duck was crispy on the outside, and tender and tasty on the inside, a perfect balance. The rice came with peas, and was well seasoned. Overall, another great time at Toko Ming Kee. Never failing to disappoint. Quick service too. At dinner time, my food came in 5 minutes with a nearly full restaurant

Decent Chinese food at The Hague.

I never order noodle soup dishes anymore. The noodles are poor quality these days; they used to be better. I also personally complained about the noodle soup not being warm enough.

I highly recommend this place. Great food at an affordable price and huge portion. I love the hot fried rice and chicken mixed. There plenty of menus to choose from. The place and toilets are clean.

Toko Ming Kee is located in the center of The Hague. The service was fast and efficient, and the food was also very tasty. The atmosphere wasn't particularly special. It's a fast-food restaurant with Asian dishes. It's recommended for a quick bite. I just wouldn't eat it every day, as it's not very healthy.

Huge selection at bargain prices and the portions are also very large, the food was very tasty and fast, I will definitely come back here!

Delicious food for a reasonable price

The food was fair, though we’ve had better Chinese elsewhere. The place was very crowded inside, which shows it’s popular. Prices are definitely low, so it works well for a quick and cheap meal. The interior looks quite old and not very clean, but for a quick budget-friendly bite, it does the job.

Delicious Asian fast food at a very affordable price. The chef's mood and experience determine the spiciness and finish of each dish each day, so it's never monotonous. Always busy around lunchtime. You don't dine here for the atmosphere, but for the food! Takeout is also available.

Whenever I'm in The Hague, I stop by Ming Kee Fast Food. They have delicious, authentic Asian food, and I especially enjoy the Chinese dishes. The portions are generous, the prices are very reasonable, and the flavor is always excellent. Plus, the restaurant is right in the city center, making it an ideal place for a quick bite to eat during a day out.

Waited 1 hour for food and they stilled messed up my order. Poor service.

The food was served cold. The roasted duck I ordered was only warm on the outside, as if it had been quickly microwaved instead of freshly prepared. It was also a bland, unhygienic-looking place. No service.

I ate at a Ming kee Chinese food. The food was cold, please pay attention when you will serve the guests. And after that i went to Mingkee Bubble tea.. last year i ate there and that was amazing however, yesterday the cashier was not friendly. No smile, even when i said thank you no reaction. Please fix this if you don't want customers to run away.

This is my favorite Chinese asian food take out place. The staff are actually very friendly, and very attentive.

Indonesian foods, many seat inside

A mess of food, very expensive and zero hygiene! If you go to the bathroom.. a lot of mess. I do not recommend!

The food isn't as generous anymore, unfortunately. It is, however, quite tasty. The atmosphere is indeed lacking. For the city center, it's quite reasonable in terms of price. Although I must say, the portions are smaller these days.

We asked to buy pepper while ordering. The woman behind the counter said we could grab it. Then we grabbed a jar, and while serving, she crashed and started yelling in front of customers that we should have paid for it. We won't be coming back. Incidentally, all the food comes with a lump of hard white rice and a liter of soy sauce, but the price reflects that.

I just passed by and ordered a roast duck rice. When it came up, I saw that the rice was not cooked at all and was very hard. I talked to the boss and he said that foreigners like to eat rice like this. This restaurant is not for Chinese people! After a long talk, the boss agreed to heat it up. After heating, the rice was still very hard. I ate a few bites. After all, it cost more than ten euros and I couldn’t throw it away! While waiting for the heating, I saw a waiter who had just finished sweeping the floor with a broom came over to serve the dishes. He even fiddled with the dishes with his hands and grabbed the vegetables. I felt disgusted. Aren’t you afraid that the customers will have stomachache in the hot summer?

The atmosphere was awful, but the food was delicious and inexpensive. There's a huge variety of dishes to order, and I was a bit skeptical about whether that meant it was good, but it was. The seating is poor, though: tacky chairs inside, very noisy, and outside you're sitting on the busy street. But in the end, the food made up for it. Takeout is also easy.

Great place to eat asian food, interior is basic, it's all about the food.

Honestly, it was really unpalatable. The tofu in the stuffed tofu tasted like I was eating a sponge, the meat had fallen out and several pieces were missing, the seasoning was also weird and I didn't know what I was eating. The table was not cleaned after the guests left, the overall environment was not good, the lighting was dim and noisy. The price was not cheap either, I regretted not spending more money to eat somewhere else.

Me and a few friends were in The Hague today and were hungry. Didn't feel like eating at a fast food restaurant, so we went here. I ordered my food, but the staff spoke broken Dutch and the food came from one of the 7 microwaves that were stacked on top of each other. Furthermore, the Ayam ketchap was tasty.

You get what you ask for, but nothing more

Absolutely delicious! We ordered stir-fried wide rice noodles and lamb brisket rice, both were great! The wide rice noodles had a wonderful wok hei (wok aroma)! It costs about 10 euros per person!

They served me scrambled eggs!!! with chicken and a very, very sweet sauce. It was impossible to eat. The interior of the place isn't inviting either.

In the middle of Markthof, located in the center. Food is just good overall. Don't expect too many smiles and thank you, and please etc. it doesn't belong in this style of Toko. But on the other hand the food is just good. The atmosphere is good, a good reflection of people who like good food. So if you go eat here, switch, don't expect much service and enjoy the food. Recommended take dishes that the Chinese kitchen is suitable for. so for example no roti or Javanese bami or saoto .. I recommend for example the dishes with duck in combination with another good dish.

i ordered nasi goreng pete, noodle soup, and roasted duck. thank God, the roasted duck had a taste. it was good. but the rest? blah. was tasteless. and the downside is the place to dine in is not clean and smelly 😩🥴

They offer a wide variety of asian foods. The prices are very friendly and as such you don't expect to be served at a 5 star Michelin restaurant. The taste is fine too.

We had curry shrimp (nice and spicy), udon noodles, and egg tofu to take home. A total of almost €30. The previous reviews are frightening 😅, but we had a delicious meal. You don't go for the atmosphere.

Dirty place. Got seriously ill from the hot food they sell. They completely ignore hygiene regulations. And renovations would also help to make things cleaner. In short, our family got food poisoning here.

Bad food, absolutely awful. I wouldn't even give it to my dog. I ordered spareribs in sauce. Honestly, it was just a bone with some kind of dough wrapped around it and fried. There was no meat on it at all. When I complained, they told me I should have ordered boneless spareribs. How stupid can you be? Truly awful, I'll never go back.

Do not waste your time. The owner is a jerk to the extent that if you leave your table your meal will be removed! I reported this experience the police. The owner lied about the situation and the only thing I could come away with was half of the meal that I paid for. Do not get trapped by this restaurant. Walk 2 minutes in any direction to find a much better experience.

I ordered a bowl of sha sieuw meat. The meat wasn't cooked at all and didn't seem fresh. The bowl was full of vegetables and meat; I could only count a few. Ridiculous. The kitchen looked filthy, and the lady serving was rude.

No frills and reasonably affordable in this economy compared to the rest. Placing your order is simple. You don't come here for the friendly service or atmosphere. But the latter isn't bad either; you can sit comfortably and you get what you pay for. As long as the food is good, there's nothing to complain about. As for the service, it depends on who's serving you, but don't have any expectations.

The waitress is very rude. She spoke quite rudely and were urgent to the customers.

Located right in the city center. Simply decorated and with an informal atmosphere. The food was delicious, plentiful, and served quickly. We recommend the Singapore noodle soup with fish, as well as the udon noodles with shrimp. They offer a wide selection of dishes. Also available for takeout.

I am very disappointed with the hygiene and quality of the food at Toko Ming Kee. In two separate orders, I found something that absolutely shouldn't be there: the first time, a piece of tooth, and the second time, I gave it the benefit of the doubt, but again, I found a piece of glass in my nasi. This is not only unacceptable but also hazardous to my health. I had hoped for careful preparation of my meal, but these experiences have completely destroyed my confidence. I advise others to think carefully before ordering from here.

good food, nice unfriendly staff

It used to be good, but not anymore! They just forget about your microwaved food and leave you waiting. Then, with wet hands (from a dirty cloth), you quickly feel through the bag to see if it's warm, and voila (not warm!), it's just disgusting (dry, so old) and rissole. I just threw it away; I don't want to get sick from that.

This place is great for a quick, inexpensive meal. It really depends on what you order, though. Personally, I think the duck noodle soup is the best. I order this dish often, and it's very affordable. But today I had fish with garlic and onion. I tried this dish a few years ago, and it was fine then. But today, it was a huge disappointment. It looked like someone had already eaten the fish, as it was completely empty inside. Inside, there was actually only a lot of dried onion and garlic. Such a shame, so I paid for fish that wasn't fish anymore. Plus, the rice I got with it was very dry. What a disappointment! Hopefully, this dish will be improved! The service is very fast, which is nice.

The food and prices are amazing! The orders are freshly made and served quickly. The downside is the service and the overall atmosphere. The employees hardly smile and don't speak in a friendly manner. One example: I was standing at the counter to ask for sambal, and they told me to pick it from any table in the restaurant while 2 jars were at reach at the counter. In the restaurant, there is a nice mixture of people from all backgrounds, but you hear the kitchen chopping meat constantly. Sounds and looks like a factory lunch canteen. THE RED SPICY SAUCE IS EXTREMELY SPICY!!! And delicious 😋

Don‘t let the looks fool you. You get amazing authentic food for a very, very reasonable price. Also the portion sizes are big so everybodies hunger will be stilled. :)

Delicious Indonesian meals at reasonable prices

The food is usually really delicious! 😀 You can choose a platter, with a selection of different dishes on your own plate. Or choose several dishes from the menu if you have more than one. The staff is great, and once you get to know them a bit better... And know the procedure!! (MIND YOUR NUMBER BEING CALLED) 😝 Then everything goes a lot smoother.. Maybe it would be handy if they had numbers on a stick as a flagpole.. 😄

Still good. Price has now gone to 8.50 where it used to be 4.50. There also seemed to be a bit less flavor than before.

Here we always enjoy from a wide variety of nice Chinese food. Great menus available where you can choose what you want from a variety of different rice/meat/vegetable dishes. Extensive menu with great noodle dishes on offer too.
