Toko to go in Schiphol

Paid for extra tuna, but basically got a bowl of beans and cucumber that I didn't even ask for. At like 25 euros I feel very let down.

Worst poke bowl I’ve ever eaten. No flavor, the syracha was insipid, the rice was very hot. Will not come back

'Poke imperfect'- Would not recommend. Overpriced and below average. I ordered a build your own bowl and selected sauce on the side. Bowl was swimming in sauce where all the ingredients were sloppy. Couldn't even eat it and threw it out as it was horrible in texture, taste and overall quality of ingredients. 20 euros down the drain.

We had two homemade poke bowls. They arrived quickly and the portions were generous. The place was tidy and clean. Even though there were a lot of people, we didn't wait long. The wall outlets are great for tourists who can charge their phones while they eat.

I rarely write reviews, but today I have to. In short: - delayed flight and therefore missed connection - KLM gave us a digital (!) voucher for this shop - staff refused us, saying they needed a paper voucher to redeem it (of course, these days we always have a printer in our pocket) - any discussion was pointless; all three women became extremely rude and loud In short, not recommended, and a shame for Amsterdam

The food is tasty, they ALWAYS forget what I pay a ridiculous amount for food and you forgot my chicken 😃 I have to walk through that whole customs again just to get my chicken. They’ve also forgotten my feta 3 times now, which I pay extra for too. How hard is it to just follow a list of ingredients?!?!?!?!

I ordered a chicken bowl, but there was no chicken when it was served. Everything else was fine.

I regularly order a pokebowl here as a Schiphol employee. In the beginning, when they had just opened, I was very satisfied. Now, for the second time already, a very meager pokebowl where toppings were forgotten again. And you pay €20 for this. This is the last time for me!

The service was so slow and worst of all, I ordered a protein chicken bowl for large and there was no chicken! Completely unacceptable!

We had some very tasty bowls, but accidentally ordered one too many. The server noticed this and pointed it out to us, and we were then refunded for one bowl!

I had expected more from this. The Witzel (Salmon, avocado, cucumber, and spring onions in our special Poké Ponzu sauce, garnished with masago and sesame seeds) had no salmon (out of stock), no cucumber, and no spring onions. The Original didn't have salmon either (so I opted for chicken). But the notification that the salmon was out of stock didn't come until after 16 minutes. The third bowl was okay. Then we waited for more than 20 minutes for it to arrive. And I think it would have taken even longer if I hadn't asked for it. As an apology, I was offered something to drink and matchas.

The experience at this place was very disappointing. To start with, the food was not very good. The rice in our pokebowls was hot, which in this type of dish makes absolutely no sense. It completely ruined the bowl for me. On top of that, the ordering system is terrible. It is slow, confusing, and constantly pushes you to add extras that are not included and obviously increase the final price. We clicked on the bowl we had already created in order to edit it, and it looked like the system was allowing us to modify it. However, instead of actually updating that bowl, it created a completely new one. We did not realize this at the time because it appeared as if we were simply editing the existing order. When we noticed and told the staff member, all the bowls had already been prepared. As a result, we were forced to keep and pay for an extra bowl we never intended to order. Additionally, there was an extra charge on the receipt for the drinks. When I asked what it was for, I was told it was the price of the cans. I then asked whether we would get that amount back when returning the cans, and they said no, they do not take them back, but we still had to pay the extra charge. The staff was not particularly friendly either and the overall service left a lot to be desired. Overall, not a place I would recommend.

Around 10:30 AM, I ordered a self-service meal for about 20 euros. The salmon was very fresh. The portion size was generous, guaranteeing a full meal! 😍 There weren't many people, so the seating was very comfortable!

Protein Poké Chicken. You can put "chicken" in parentheses, because the quantity isn't significant. I did arrive shortly before closing time, but you could always compensate with a scoop of meat, for example. It's €16, you know. Also: that CO2 meter is awful. It's being rammed down our throats from all sides, and you don't want to see that on a menu when you're just trying to enjoy a meal. As a company, do you want to make people feel guilty if they choose beef or chicken? Or let the burgers be the model burgers again? The service was good, the people were friendly. Otherwise, the food was okay, though a bit too spicy for what I expected.

I got my daughter some poke here before leaving with the "fresh" salmon. It was time to finish digesting and the first evening of vacation was ruined by a serious case of food poisoning that hasn't subsided yet. Thank you for the wonderful vacation, and as far as I'm concerned, they should send you for a proper health check.

I got misled by the reviews… rice was undercooked they were still hard, you get 95% rice and 5% ‘proteins’ that for almost 20€ per bowl…. It’s a shame because the veggies were pretty fresh and good.

I had lunch here this week. Nice, clean, and nicely decorated location. There are 4 self-service kiosks, but you can also order at the counter. Very sweet and friendly staff. Tasty poke bowls and many varieties. Really nice, I will definitely be back. Plenty of seating; there are power outlets at the seating areas, which is really cool for plugging in your phone or laptop. Highly recommended.

A great place to eat fast and healthy! It has self-checkout and self-order machines, so it's very quick!

Visited Poke Perfect Schiphol today. Huge compliments to Marwa; she was all alone in the kitchen, received a huge number of orders at once, but remained calm, friendly, and super helpful. It's really impressive how she managed to do it all in one go! It is a shame, though, that the order screens weren't working properly and the staff discount didn't show up, meaning we had to order online and some people ended up paying without a discount. Otherwise, the food was tasty and fresh, as always. A big thumbs up to Marwa; she really made up for it! 👏

As a indo myself I can say this food is not made with love. It tasted like every dish was made with a lot of time pressure. A mix of Undercooked veggies and overcooked chicken as dry as it can get. Better to skip this restaurant and pick one in Amsterdam city centre.

at 12.05 (5 minutes past opening), I asked one lady whether that had sambal, and the other employee who was cleaning / setting up (who I wasn't talking to) said please wait until we are open. they also had a dish which contains pete (stink beans in English) and the entire tray only had a singular bean. as an Indonesian, don't eat here. lady is a disgrace to Asian hospitality and culture.

We found the dishes very good. Note that the food is reheated in the microwave, but that didn't bother us.

For €15.00 really very little and little taste. Got food here on New Year's Eve, too bad. Will never get food there again.

Very surprised to get such good quality Asian food in an airport. The terong/eggplant, rendang beef and wide array of vegetables really hits the spot. Read reviews that the staff were rude. Can't comment but on the 2 occasions I was there they were very polite and patient. Recommended for a quick no fuss homely Asian cooking.

Delicious food. Even cauliflower rice. The others enjoyed the noodles. We had medium, but it was more than enough. Served with satay and prawn crackers. As a diabetic I was happy with this food. Cauliflower rice and lots of vegetables.

i can't believe how rude that old lady staff is here! not even looking at me when she asked for my order and more unwelcoming gesture! the young lady was friendly. the food is okay, but 3 euros for a small egg? im a regular at the airport but not ever coming back . poor customer service make me lose my appetite. such a shame

Rude man beyond belief. Place empty, sat down ( my daughter had popped to the toilet so I was waiting for her before we ordered). Literally 30 seconds later, he says are you going to order or what? Plenty of other places to eat so no, I didn’t order. Manners go a long way.

The shop was quite busy with travellers so there was a bit of a queue. When it was my turn to be served, as I stood right in front of the till, the lady who served people in front of me saw me and ignored me. She then kind of make herself looking busy by doing other stuff. She didn't ask whether I am being served or say anything like sorry please bear with us etc.. - I realised later on, that this is the lady that was mentioned by reviews on here as being rude and I can see why customers were saying that. Thankfully, after a few minutes being ignored by her, the other lady wearing glasses who was very lovely and friendly and was at the other side of the shop came to the till, greet me nicely and served me. The food may not be the best, but it was good enough for people who'd like to try or craved for Indonesian food. The management needs to pay attention to a lot of feedback from customers, therefore, there is a lot room for improvement.

Staff are very friendly, but the food is tasteless and ridiculously overpriced. The place has such a high turnover of customers that there is little incentive to make an incredible menu; there will always be an unknowing, hungry customer drifting through the arrivals hall and taking an unfortunate chance by eating at this place.

You know… microwaved food for two was €38 euros. ridiculous. I couldn’t eat the rice because it was so dry.

The absolute minimum quality you can expect for this kind of food but for a premium price.

Not sure what i order is ramen soup or more like soto soup. Ingredients are the same as soto, they just add microwaved noodles into it. Both of the women that work there are so rude! Unnecessarily rude even. Treated customers as if we beg for free foods, berating the customers while serving their foods, just angry energy every time. If you women are so unhappy doing your job, why work at all?

The best place so far at Schipol Plaza

If you're south east Asian maybe you'll like it. The food is flavorful and savoury. The crew were very accommodating.

Ayam kecap was flavorful and tasty (this is fantastic for an Asian living in NL) and I also liked the peanut sauce. On a Saturday they close at 8pm but at 7:15pm they’re already packing up and closing some of the dine-in areas which actually made me feel uneasy and a feeling that I had to rush eating my food. Express meal is 13€.

Coming to Amsterdam to try the rijsttafel, a traditional Indonesian rice table adapted into Dutch cuisine, this restaurant might not be the top recommendation. However, if you're seeking more affordable and quick bites of rijsttafel, then this place is a good option. Toko To Go is located in the Schipol Airport public area. It offers a fast-food style rijsttafel, which may not taste the same as those in fine dining restaurants but has a homier flavor with a variety of dishes. I particularly enjoyed the Daging Smoor (beef stew in sweet soy sauce) and Ayam Bali (Balinese-style spicy chicken). Although the spices in the meat were not as intense as in authentic Indonesian cuisine, they were still flavorful compared to many Dutch dishes. The vegetables were also tasty, offering a variety of flavors. However, I found the Nasi Goreng a bit bland. The price for one portion with 3-5 dishes ranges from €13-18, which is quite affordable considering the quality and taste, especially compared to most restaurants in Amsterdam. I was served by a friendly lady with short hair who wore glasses. She patiently answered all our questions about the food and handled the crowded queue of passengers in a friendly manner. My experience differed from some of the reviews on Google Maps, possibly the service hase been improved or I might be served by different staff. Despite being labeled "to go," you can still find seating at the restaurant, although it may be limited for larger groups.

Food was edible, messy plating but def better than burger king. White guy with eyeliner was quite rude and disinterested. Understanably they had a big order before us but we have rules in customer service

I eat here regularly because it is a nice quick bite. Some dishes are a bit bland in taste as some other people have noted. The service is excellent and I do not recognize these complaints in the lady behind the counter. She prefers that you know what you are going to order, but that is the same with Subway and McDonald.

Working at Schiphol AirPort, this used to be a busy place, not anymore: Unfriendly and disinterested staff, no pin working, no cash coin change-food was OK but not cheap

Service was terrible. Paid 43 euro for lunch (2 pp), cola is bottle. Then was asking for a glass, took 5 min they found a plastic one, asking 5 cent !

Personally I thought the ramen noodle soup was flavourless, the beef was dry. The needles seemed more like udon noodles than ramen noodles all in all I was really disappointed especially becuase Asian kitchens are renowned for the great flavour and tasty foods. Im glad I had the experience of eating here but wont be doing it again.

Decent Indonesian restaurant that provided comfort meals in this airport when you have long layover or stay in nearby hotel; we can choose rice or noodle for carbohydrates, beef or pork or chicken for protein, and some choice for veggies; the price is not cheap, but compare with other restaurant in here than Toko to go is the best option. Both of the staff are Indonesian, they ware nice and helpful in giving recommendations.

Nasi Rames, cukup enak porsinya besar. Nasinya nasi goreng, cukup lah, pas lagi laper dan cepat saji.

Good for a quick bite. The portions are quite large for the price you pay, considering you are at Schiphol. Don't expect authentic Indonesian cuisine, and know that the food has been pre-made and is microwaved to order, but you can definitely expect consistency over time and a quick service. You can also ask for a take away container.

Heerlijk gegeten en vriendelijk bediend.

I love the bubble tea they offer! But the price dosn't make much sense. Bubble tea is normaly with bubbles, but here you have to buy the bubbles separately (5€ + 1€). The bubbles (tapioca perls) in the normal black tea should be included! ;-)

I had a large tasty meal for about 12 euro, but they have smaller portions at even lower prices. For this price at an airport it is actually very good. Food warmed in a microwave, just like people do it at home when they cook rice dishes for 2 days. No complaints.

Un locale con cibo asiatico,situato nella zona arrivi dell'aeroporto di Amsterdam. Fast service spicy food and veg

Compared to other restaurants here, it feels like a real meal. Granted its microwaved for reheating but you feel its very well prepared each morning. Good for those liking spicy and flavoured food instead of the usual airport sandwiches.
