A rediscovery that was more than worth it! On the advice of a friend, I decided to visit Torino in Woerden again after a long time – I had heard that the owner had changed, and I wanted to experience that for myself. And wow… what a surprise!! The ice cream is truly top class – creamy, full of flavour and you can taste that it is made with love. Every scoop is a delight. But what really surprised me were the bonbons… they are of a quality that you rarely come across. Truly artisanal and refined. You immediately notice that there is attention and craftsmanship behind them. (My favourite: pistachio!) Torino has of course always been a well-known name in Woerden, but this feels like a fresh, renewed version of a classic. The atmosphere is friendly and inviting, and the quality is even better than I remembered. If you are in the neighbourhood: do yourself a favour and walk in. Whether you go for a cone, a bowl or a box of chocolates – you will definitely leave with a smile!!

TORINO🔛🔝Really super good because the ice cream is delicious and it tastes like ice cream and sorbet is also very tasty and the cones do not taste like cardboard but like crispy cinnamon cookies, a bit speculazig. The new owner is very friendly and talks to you if you want while you eat. And the interior is very cozy.

Ice cream and chocolate are delicious here. Service and atmosphere too. Unfortunately I couldn't judge on the price, so those points are at the expense of the service and atmosphere. A few weeks ago I bought a box of chocolates, 16 pieces for €20. I went back today to get three boxes and suddenly they were €25 each! Received a nonsense story that prices have increased. Yes, that's fine, but not by 25% and not on stocks that have already arrived. This is a matter of abusing what is being said in the media. I ordered three boxes via chocolabezorgd.nl for €20 each and it was delivered free of charge. Pay close attention to the prices people. Don't get screwed just because the holidays are just around the corner. ** Number of stars adjusted from 2 to 4.

Cycled here today because of the reviews. Perhaps we have been spoiled by Davids Gouda and Janssen Boskoop, but we found the ice cream disappointing. First, it was too soft, the refrigerator was too warm and my limon biscotto ice cream didn't taste like limon. It was Vanilla with some rusk. My partner's yoghurt forest fruit ice cream looked like carte d' or my strawberry sorbet ice cream too. We were disappointed.

Torino totally makes my day. Very tasty ice cream, many different flavors, not super expensive or anything, and whipped cream in a cone is also recommended for dessert after the ice cream. The ceiling is half pink and that is beautiful.

I've had ice cream several times when I'm in Woerden and it's always been satisfying. Unfortunately a bad experience today. The lady behind the counter was friendly to us when we came in, but things quickly turned around. I asked her if I could perhaps add some pieces of stroopwafel from the top with my stroopwafel ice cream and her response was; No, that is not possible, you will receive stroopwafel without pieces or you will have to choose a different flavor. In addition, the balls were considerably smaller than normal (for all of us). Someone can always have a bad day, but the way they communicated was really unacceptable.

Got an ice cream here because of the good reviews and recommendations from someone I know who lives in Woerden. Unfortunately I didn't like it 😖 The cake batter ice cream is normally one of my favorites if an ice cream shop has it. This started off quite well in terms of taste, but at a certain point it started to disappoint me in terms of aftertaste. The cookie dough flavor was absolutely nothing. The ice cream itself is very boring, no vanilla or anything, but 'normal' ice cream. And the cookie dough itself has some bitterness and just doesn't taste good and you also had to look very hard for the pieces in it... I don't understand how they could end up in the top 5, very strange. Friendly service and they respond nicely to the review, so 2 stars for the effort 😊 I'd rather go to Luciano's.
