Delicious food and generous portions. I really like the homemade satay sauce, though it's a bit overpowering. The service is excellent.

Our first encounter with this restaurant was fantastic. The service was good and pleasant. We enjoyed sitting outside, and the terrace was well-filled. We had the chef's special. It was a great choice.

Friendly service and delicious food.

This restaurant has excellent food and service. They have original dishes with a wide variety of tastes. As starter I can recommend the Gyoza filled with Rendang, really tasty never had Gyoza like this. The main dishes mostly involve sattay sticks, we had a variety of lamb, chicken and beef. All of them were tender and tasty. I would recommend to get fries on the side, it includes traditional sattay sauce which is more like a paste. The salad is still included. All in all a must visit when you are in Groningen.

Tott has been in Groningen for a few years now and has become a true hotspot on the Schuitendiep canal, right in the city center but just outside the hustle and bustle. Their core business is satay, but they also offer plenty of other delicious options for lunch, drinks, and dinner. It's also the perfect spot for drinks, parties, or relaxing on the terrace.

This was our first time here – but definitely not the last! The food was simply fantastic – super delicious and prepared with lots of love. The service was also top-notch: very friendly, attentive, and everything was explained to us perfectly. We felt completely at home. The long journey was 100% worth it. Highly recommended!

Pleasant service, nice beers and delicious food with the 3-course chef's menu.

There were 10 of us. The food was served quickly. The satay was delicious and tender, I'm guessing it was from a charcoal grill, as it had a nice BBQ flavor. The only downside was that two people had chosen the chef's special menu. It was a tasting menu. Only the appetizer and dessert were tastings, and the main course was just one dish from the menu. That's not what you choose.

Oh well, the food is quite good and the service is very friendly. However, for this price, we've often had much better food.

A somewhat hip-looking place with hip music. The staff is young but very friendly and attentive. The food is excellent, no culinary highlights, but the quality is good and the portions are generous. Good value for money.

Super cozy evening with delicious food and drinks

1x the Black Tiger prawns 26 euros and 2x the tott mix 26 euros and 3x a bowl of fries 4.50 per bowl that you unfortunately have to order separately. Location is very good and cozy with the terraces in front of the door. Cozy interior. Nice cocktails and beers. Staff did their best. The Black Tiger prawns tasted very good. Just like the fries and the salad. The cucumber (acar) was tasty, krupuk cassava comes from a bag. The satay was...ok... 5 sticks for 26 euros that is 5.20 per stick then it has to be perfect only the beef came close. The only thing that was really not good was the satay sauce. Super tasty food, delicious mix of satay, 2 x chicken, 2 x beef and 1 skewer with lamb, taste is good. Satay sauce a bit spicy but tasty! You can order fries or rice separately. The price of this is on top of the ordered dish. We found the prices of the side dishes to be out of proportion. A bit of fries 🤑 Atmosphere was good, pleasantly busy, nice staff😃

My girlfriend and I went out for dinner at TOTT. When we arrived we were allowed to pick a spot. It then took 15 minutes to order something to drink and then we asked the staff ourselves if we could order something and that seemed to cause some frustration with the waitress. Furthermore, the staff only became somewhat friendly towards the end of our meal. The food was fine but the service was not what it should be.

What a nice restaurant! We enjoyed the delicious food. There is enough choice on the menu. We chose three courses with various cold and hot drinks, including a cocktail. For dessert we chose the, of course, freshly prepared Cookie Dough. This is really recommended for dessert. Furthermore, we were helped by an incredibly friendly employee. She really did her best for her guests. It was a nice experience to have eaten here.

Nice, cozy tent with friendly staff and good food. Mix of beef, lamb and chicken satay was very tasty. You can make the TOTT sauce extra spicy with a nice lick of sambal in it. About 10 beers on tap. Not cheap, beer, satay, fries and coffee 45 euros.

The price quality ratio is pretty good. The food tastes amazing. However the price quantity is off. It's not a whole lot you're getting and it feels like a component is missing. The meal consisted of meat, a salad, and a few chips but it should've had some fries or rice included in the price and to order it extra was very expensive, being 4 euros for one side. The service was pretty good, no remarks. For the seating area, it was a bit dark. There was some ambient light but it could've had a few more lights.

A very cozy place, fast service and everything is served very nicely. Food is fine but I missed the real sharp herbs and Asian taste. The mix I had is fine, and sufficient. You pay for fries separately here and the salad was not great. In terms of price level on the high side, but definitely recommended

What a nice tent!!! Had a delicious meal on Friday evening and stayed until late. The service is friendly, pleasant and exudes real teamwork. We came back on Saturday for an afternoon drink and in the evening after dinner we came back again for the delicious cocktails. Definitely recommended and I will 100% come back!

First we had a nice drink on the terrace, then we ate inside. Very good quality, friendly service and cozy atmosphere.

The food itself was quite reasonable. However, prices are skyrocketing. I had a draft beer from Skuumkoppe 0.3 liter. This cost 6 euros. A very small cup of coffee 3.5 euros. Service was mediocre. Had to wait a long time and ask the same thing several times before it was delivered.

The service on Saturday is a bit disappointing. The owner (I assume) quickly picks up signals from guests and is very hospitable, but the young people who work are not really. They don't offer a menu, see empty glasses and walk on, don't ask if you want to order yet. You often have to give a signal yourself. Furthermore, delicious food and a nice atmosphere always.

The food was delicious! Unfortunately, the portions were quite small and it took a long time before we received a menu and it also took a long time to take our orders. Very tasty food, good beers, and a nice atmosphere. Unfortunately, the two dedicated waitresses weren't responsible for our food, but rather a waiter who preferred to flirt with two women two tables away. So we waited over an hour for our food and then had to eat quickly to avoid being even late for our concert. What a shame!

What wonderful staff! We had a delicious meal, and we went to a show. They were very considerate of the time.

The vegan salad was very little. We could all eat more afterwards as we shared a starter and a dessert. And main course of course. All side dishes had to be paid extra and a bowl of fries that was supposed to be for 2 seemed more like it was for 1 person. The food was tasty but we wouldn't go back considering the portion and price ratio.

Today we went to dinner with friends at TOTT. We made a reservation through the reservation system. We received a confirmation request the day before. Upon arrival, it was surprisingly quiet. We had to find a table, thinking it would get busier, but this turned out not to be the case. The service was friendly, and we were given a menu with a brief explanation. We asked for a drink, and then we started searching. We made our choice and toasted the evening with a drink. The appetizer was delicious, the main course was delicious satay, and some had the chef's choice, and the dessert was the chef's choice. However, this was a bit of a misstep, and we received desserts far apart, but everything was very tasty and well-presented. Aside from the late dessert, the prices were also a bit disappointing, not for the main courses, but for the side dishes. Two packets of fries for 9 euros (see photo) seems a bit steep to me. In any case, the main course and appetizers and desserts were fine, but the drinks and side dishes are a bit overpriced in my opinion. Just be careful when ordering.

We had the meat combo and the vegan combo, and they were all a bit same-tasting and bland. The sides and drinks were nice, and the staff was great. Overall, overpriced for what you get.

Despite a quiet Monday evening, the atmosphere was pleasant. The food was delicious and definitely worth coming back for. The service was superb! Two staff members made pleasant contact, making it a successful evening.

Nice atmosphere. Friendly service. A lot of food per person. Too much because I couldn't eat it. And therefore also pricey. The four of us lost 200 euros. Two drinks (no cocktail but soft drinks and wine) per person, shared starter, main course and two desserts. So not exceptional. In short, fine, but don't think again.

What a nice place TOTT Groningen is! The staff is super friendly and really thinks along with you. We had a delicious meal and the atmosphere was great. TOTT's specialty is the homemade, charcoal-grilled satay. Highly recommended. We will definitely come back again!

Not necessary at all because it wasn't busy. A little more rest and giving people a little more time and we would have had a great evening..

Had a delicious meal with a group of eight people. Everything tasted good. Meat wonderfully tender. Very friendly staff! Smooth operation. We sat in a side section at a high table on bar chairs. It was a bit noisier there because of the smaller space, but all in all definitely recommended! Excellent price/quality ratio!

We ate here with a chef friend. Since he's from England, we came here because of the "surf 'n turf" on the menu. We received a warm welcome and chose to eat inside. We both really enjoyed our meals! Surprising flavors, perfectly cooked. The herb butter was a bit too cold beforehand, but otherwise, the English chef found no fault with it. 👏 The contact with Tott's chef was a nice bonus. Definitely recommended!!
