Given the reviews here went, together high expectations. In all honesty, they are Dutch people who try to cook Italian. I really don't understand the reviews. They are certainly nice, but there is a big difference between real Italian or this try Italian. Service good, nice people too, but it's just not it. Food is very ordinary, homemade doesn't say much in this case. Real Italian I would look further.

As always it is great here! Enjoyed again and pampered by the team. This time we had the wine arrangement. Great! Also the explanation of the dishes and taste combinations are exceptional. You will not find this anywhere else quickly.

Good pizza and pasta, cozy atmosphere. Super nice place to go once. Minus point is the relatively high price of the menu including wine, this is not in proportion to what you get in quality and service. They certainly try, but they just don't succeed. By the way, no reason not to come back again!

We chose a 4-course surprise menu with wine pairing for the 2nd time and we thought it was even better this time than last time! We will definitely come back again.

We had a nice meal, but we were here with 2 young children and it took more than an hour and fifteen minutes before our 3 pizzas and a children's pasta arrived. Really unacceptable. After waiting more than an hour we asked if they had forgotten us, but they had not. We received the food within 10-15 minutes, so it's not clear to me whether we were forgotten or not. When we told this to family who have also been here, they could confirm that they also had to wait a very long time for their food. Shame! Ps: it's a pity that we would have liked to try the desserts, but it was now so late that dessert was no longer feasible for our young children.

De ambiance was minimaal, in een zaaltje wat “over” is heeft men een toonbank van een slager geplaatst waarachter een pizza over staat. WC waar de sigaretten van 20 jaar geleden ingebrand op het reservoir staan en een roomdivider als afscherming naar de wc’s staan. Nee hoogstaand kun je eea echt niet noemen. Voorgerecht was goed, pizza slecht met weinig smaak en fantasie. Bediening bestaat uit zeer jonge meisjes die de etiquette nog niet onder de knie hebben. Al met al een heel teleurstellende ervaring welke in geen verhouding staat tot hetgeen je moet afrekenen.

We had dinner here on Friday evening from 7pm to 10pm. Bruschetta, pizza, and cheesecake. Everything was very tasty. A lot tastier even than most Italian restaurants. The service was also top notch. The restaurant is quite small, and there are a few tables right next to the entrance. When you wait for your table you are right next to it, hence the less star for atmosphere.

Had a nice meal at Valentino in Panningen. The dishes are made from fresh and high-quality products. It can sometimes take a while, but the food is definitely worth the wait. Definitely recommended!

Yesterday I enjoyed dinner at Trattoria Valentino in Panningen. It is a charming little Italian restaurant with truly excellent food. It was a bit more expensive, but the quality of the food was excellent! The chef personally brought the dessert and told a nice story about it. The staff was also very friendly and helpful.

The food was delicious, the service very friendly and hospitable. We had a lovely meal outside, in the newly landscaped (edible) garden. The owner is very passionate about his profession. Highly recommended!

We hebben 4-gangen shared dining genomen maar er was weinig te delen. We kregen ieder een zelfde voor-, tussen-, hoofd- en nagerecht. Gerechten waren smaakvol en goede porties. Alleen het kaasplankje (moet je €5,-- voor bijbetalen) was erg karig. 4 stukjes kaas nog kleiner dan een half kaasblokje. Bediening was attent en aardig. Het geboden menu werd aangekondigd als avondvullend maar 4 gerechtjes van 18.30 tot 22.30 vonden wij toch erg lang duren!

We had 4-course shared dining but there was little to share. We each got the same starter, intermediate course, main course and dessert. Dishes were tasty and good portions. Only the cheese board (you have to pay €5 extra for it) was very poor. 4 pieces of cheese even smaller than half a cheese cube. Service was attentive and nice. The menu offered was announced as filling the evening, but we thought 4 dishes from 6:30 PM to 10:30 PM took a very long time!

Top tent! The food was delicious and there is a very pleasant atmosphere.

Wat een geweldig restaurant is dit! Al heel veel over gehoord en vanavond maar eens zelf geprobeerd. Heerlijke gerechten die in de open keuken gemaakt worden. Wij hadden het 5 gangen menu, vooral het pastagerechten uit een geflambeerde Parmezaanse kaas was niet te beschrijven. Een van de lekkerste Italianen die we ooit hebben gehad. Ook de pizza is er fenomenaal, echt authentiek. Aanrader! Nadeel is wel dat ze vaak vol geboekt zijn maar dit snap ik helemaal

We hadden alle 4 het 5 gangen menu gehad, was lekker maar niet speciaal, absoluut geen € 54 waardig. Ook jammer dat je alle 4 of pizza of risotto moest kiezen. We wilden graag 2x pizza en 2x risotto maar dat ging niet......

Delicious Italian restaurant in Midden Limburg. All the food is prepared fresh. The lasagna noodles tasted very fresh and was cooked to perfection. They took the time to explain all the dishes in English. The atmosphere was warm and had a romantic feel. My Father had the Carbonara and enjoyed it immensely.

Wauw wat een ontdekking voor ons! Per toeval zagen we het liggen en dachten we laat ons ff snel hapje doen. Leuke tentje, gezellig. Niet super modern maar wel helemaal knus en gezellig. Vriendelijk personeel, erg leuk je kijkt zo de pizzaoven in. En enkele gerechten worden in het restaurant achter de bar bereid. Het was snel hapje voor ons dus beide alleen pasta. Pasta carbonara by far de lekkerste die we in Nederland ooit gegeten hebben. Italië-waardig dus. Chapeau. Wij gaan zeker keertje terug komen en gaan dan zeker ons laten verrassen door chefkok.

Today I had dinner with my boyfriend for the first time Trattoria Valentino, it was a fantastic experience. At the beginning I was welcomed cheerfully and given a table, we were quickly able to order drinks and the service was super fast. The food was great and we received an explanation about the food. It is definitely recommended if you want real Italian and cozy food!

We ended up here by chance, but what a discovery! The pizzas are truly sublime – perhaps the tastiest we have ever eaten. You can really taste that the secret ingredient is love! The service is super friendly and the atmosphere in the restaurant is warm and welcoming. This is the kind of place that makes you happy. We will definitely come back here again, and next time we will bring our friends. Highly recommended!

We hebben heerlijk gegeten in een leuke Italiaanse ongedwongen setting. het was er zeer druk maar toch verliep alles soepel en het eten werd snel en warm geserveerd heel erg leuke bediening en een gedurfde wijnkaart met speciale pareltjes uit Italië. Het team was zeer vakbekwaam en je ziet dat er met liefde gekookt en gewerkt wordt, kortom echt een aanrader en een aanwinst voor Panningen

Ein sehr authentisches Restaurant mit vorzüglichem Essen. Selbst das Personal hat sich untereinander auf Italienisch unterhalten. Mit uns deutschen konnte der Kellner/Koch ebenfalls fließend deutsch sprechen. Es lief Musik um Hintergrund und das Essen wurde für uns Gäste sichtbar zubereitet. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen!

This time a delicious Bruchetta, Italian tomato soup and a delicious Pinsa. The secret of this restaurant lies in the personal approach, explanation and passion in the explanation and cooking. Ate here yesterday with Frank, delicious food (we both had the 4 course surprise menu), good atmosphere, good 'guidance' during the meal. And a delicious homemade Limoncello, all in all highly recommended, where I will definitely come back.
