Tuincafe Geleen in Wijk 05 Geleen

Well today I had lunch with my mother in the garden café in Geleen, we both had fries with pickled meat, the portion was very disappointing, a handful of fries were put in a cone and the pan with the pickled meat in it was not even half full, which is already a small pan, and you pay €13.50 for that, you won't see me anymore, a bunch of stingy curmudgeons!

We had a great meal (ham, cheese and tomato toastie with salad and a warm meatball sandwich with onion and garnish) and friendly service.

A nice little garden café, but with a limited selection. If you want lunch, you'll want a cup of milk or something. With tea, you get hot water, and tea bags are placed on a separate table. Coffee comes from a fully automatic machine, but plenty of "custard" to go with it. Nothing really to complain about, but it has to be placed away from the others.

It was incredibly expensive for what we got. We had two cheese-only toasted sandwiches for €7.95, but you'd assume it was cheaper because you got it without the ham and more cheese than just one. It wasn't a toasted sandwich, but a regular sandwich with cheese. Drinks were a reasonable price, though. The salad that came with the toasted sandwich was decent. I will NEVER go there again! I'll tell everyone.

Had a delicious high tea with 5 people; FANTASTIC!!! The quality, quantity, service, atmosphere, and price—highly recommended!!! Will definitely be back. See you next time!

Good service, friendly staff. However, the price increases implemented by Cox & Co are outrageous and have nothing to do with inflation. Breakfast will soon cost over €10. We also noticed that the hot food portions were getting smaller. That's no way to treat your customers. The staff encourages customers to complain that things aren't going well. Customers either leave or spend significantly less.

Just ordered rice pie with whipped cream including coffee, coffee saucer and foot bath, if you say something about it you will get a new plate but this is not yet thrown at you. After a few bites of the rice pie, we both left the pie, it had a frozen taste and was completely yellow on the inside, I think this is a disappointment and then you also pay the bonus price for this.

Anyone who claims that the ladies here are not friendly must have had a bad day themselves. I come here regularly and precisely because they are friendly here, always a nice chat and the food looks good and tastes good. The ladies get a big 10 from me.

Sinds de verbouwing super warm en gezellig..ook leuk hoekje voor de kids.voelde net als vakantie super vriendelijk...lekkere hapjes..en de ijskoffie was heerlijk..

Vliegen op het eten aan de kassa, aangezien dit niet afgeschermd is. Koffie niet goed geserveerd.
