utrecht in Wijk 01 West

Even though I went alone, I was able to sit at a table for four. The staff were friendly and attentive. This must be one of the best restaurants in Utrecht, at least. It's a shame I couldn't try a variety of dishes because I went alone.

I ordered a durum doner, but there's almost nothing in it… the doner is nowhere to be found, and there's no tomato or cucumber in it, just a bit of lettuce. The sauce is served separately, which is incredibly inconvenient.

I had a business dinner here and paid €9 for parking at the parking meter, but you don't get a receipt. You have to request one from the manager. The parking garage is managed by the online parking management service. I emailed twice and called three times, and they promised to email me the receipt three times, but it's now been three weeks and I still haven't received anything. I'm also going to check with the Consumers' Association to see if this is even legal: providing a service without a receipt/receipt/invoice. This is a strange practice and empty promises.

The food was delicious, fresh, and hot. And the staff was very friendly.

Prima eten, zeer waardeloze service en bediening. Met tijdslot van 2,5 uur gegeten. Op zich tijd genoeg, maar niet als de bediening zich pas na 3/4 uur meldt om eerste bestelling (drankjes) op te nemen wanneer pas half uur later de menukaart (op herhaaldelijk verzoek) wordt gebracht. En dan wel gewoon na 2.5 uur de rekening op tafel zetten. Echt slechte.
